The Darkest Price (Open/Accepting/M)

Firdar stood in front of the palace, watching with interest as the Terrans approached. The night had been as delightful as always. For a time, it was almost as if he wasn't in the palace at all. Now, he was going to meet his betrothed. He wondered what she was like. What would she think of him? A demon, maybe. A monster? It was very possible, especially from a kingdom of light and happiness like Terra.

Sereda

"Quite exciting, isn't it?" Sereda asked Kirei as she came to a stop at the entrance the Royals of Terra were to come through. "Waiting for your betrothed? Wondering what he's going to be like? It's quite the exciting and suspenseful experience, no doubt."

Kirei tensed as Sereda walked up and she flickered as if she subconsciously was planning on fleeing. But she didn't move.

"Hardly. I said it before, I don't really care about relationships. They are only good to get more power."

“Mandu’”

The elf exclaimed in his natural language as he set his sight on the castle of Ty’scia.

This was definitely the opposite of Terra, the land of light and good. This place was dark, as if thick dark mantle had been laid over it. Not only that, but the feeling. That dense and heavy negative energy that suppressed them was almost indescribable.

“This is not a good place…”

Amras pointed out what was already obvious. Still with his sight set over the new residence of his princes and princesses.

Hanyer let out a heavy sigh as the wagon stopped in front of the castle. He was tempted to start up again, but he did not. He could see someone out front anyways.

Hanyer watched as Enma exited the back of the wagon and waved to the boy out front. From inside the castle, two others stepped outside.

"Hello," he called out.

Kirei looked at Hanyer and scoffed. She gave Enma a once over and shook her head. Then she stalked back inside, pass Sereda and to her room.

Toan waited for the rest of the Terrans to appear before he did anything.

Selphie

"I really don't have a good feeling about this...I think I'm going to throw up," she said, staring at the malevolent castle looming ahead, "Even it's...citizens look...drained. What is this place going to do to us? What are they going to do with us?" she asked, growing increasingly nervous.

Miridia

Appearing behind Kirei, embracing her off-guard when she reached her room, "Greetings, dearest sister!" she cried, snaking around to look her in the eyes, "I do so apologize for not being able to molest you yesterday; I was a bit preoccupied. I will, however, be sure to make it up to you tonight." she said with a smile.

"I am most displeased that I couldn't be the one to take your virginity...hopefully, before noon, this situation can be rectified...oh, what's that?" she said, holding up a clockwork pocket-watch up to her ear, "You say, no!" she said in surprise as the pocket watch opened, revealing an extremely complicated watch face; a hand of which seemed to move backwards.

Miridia looked at Kirei in shock, "Can it be? Is it true?" she said, covering her mouth in surprise, before the gesture twisted into one of glee, "Let's find out!" as her hand slipped beneath Kirei's skirt.

Miridia!

Wearing a blood-covered "Feed the Cook" apron, she checked the contents of the pots and stove, "Righty oh! Everything seems to be in order and should be ready by feasting time! What do you think about dessert?" she asked, turning to the cooks that she had embedded cleavers, knives, spoons, and carrots into.

Turning gleefully back to work, she smiled, "My thoughts exactly!"

Miridia? Ok, this is getting ridiculous!

Appearing beside her oldest brother, she too look out at the gathering, "oh my...I like the youngest two; sweet meat, should go great with some wine..." she muttered offhand as she skewed her glance, "So, which one is yours? Or should I say Dalia's? Or mine...who knows? They'll all be mine at some point, just like all of you!" she said, stroking Toan's thigh, "Oh! I'll need to make note of that!"

Kirei let out a gasp as Miridia appeared in her room. She was hoping that she was going to be alone. Then Miridia started to come onto her. Kirei felt herself get hot. She tried to move away from her sister as he started to go up her skirt. Why couldn't she be left alone.

"No!"

Toan looked at his sister and sighed. He looked at them and shrugged.

"I will probably be with the oldest girl sister," he told her. As she felt up his thigh, he jerked away. He did not want to be touched by her right now.

Miero

Miero stared at the Ty'Scia castle with great apprehension. He clutched Enma's arm protectively, as if to shield her from the darkness the castle's aura projected.

"This place...it does feel bad. I...I just hope we'll be able to live here peacefully...."

Legis

"What is the castle like?" Legis asked Nia curiously. He could feel the bad aura just as the others could, but it wasn't as effective with his lack of sight. Still, Legis hoped that this place would not be too bad.

((Say, Alec, know when the Quaint Quill will be able to post here? We haven't seen his characters in awhile.))

No!

Firdar's eyes widened. Sometimes, he heard screams echoing throughout the palace, signs of one person's misfortune, but never, had he heard Kirei's voice cry out. He brought his hands together and weaved a few shadows to form a black cat, who sat in front of him attentively. It was a little trick he learned, forming projections. They weren't exactly alive, more like a reflection of his subconscious.

"Stay here and watch for the Terrans," he whispered, stepping into the shadows and running quickly towards his sister's room. When he entered it, he grimaced. Miridia. He stretched out his arms, sending out a few tentacles of shadow to surround and restrain her.

"Miridia. You will not harm family," he growled, applying pressure with his shadows.

((Um....AI....just a little thought here. Do you mean pressure, and not pleasure? Just asking. Because otherwise you have Firdar as a master of Naughty Tentacles. Just saying.))

(Thanks for the catch, Magus. LOL. Hm... In theory, Firdar could be Master of the Naughty Tentacles.)

Miridia

"Oh...brother..." said his twisted sister as she laced her speech with heavy sexual innuendo, "Tentacles again? Anything...naughty this time?" she asked, her form fading to mist as she passed through his restraints, "You never do anything fun, but while your here, I was just going to bed my dear sister! Would you like to join?" she asked, pushing Kirei onto the bed.

"Besides, I'm not hurting her...just screwing her; big difference you see, but she'll be screaming all the same!" she said with unbridled glee.

Miridia?

She jerked her eyes towards her brother, "You deny me?" she asked, brow furrowing, "Have you not learned what happens when you deny me?" she asked, ink dripping from the darkness around her eyes, leaning towards him menacingly.

"We have...tea!" she yelled at him, pulling out a tea cup from nowhere as she poured him a cup, "Now will you have one lump of two?" (she really does mean of)

"I may be half-demon, sister, but even I have standards. I draw the line at hurting family and incest," Firdar growled as he allowed the tentacles to dissipate but separating her and Kirei with a wall of shadow instead, "You may take out your sick fantasies on the staff and the peasants, but not family."

Miridia

Stepping away from the wall of shadow, she turned on her brother, face stoic and emotionless as she approached him, predatory, "What do you mean I can't? I do it all the time, except for the times when I'm not; I'm doing other stuff then, but you are absolutely no fun at all!"

"You simply must leave!" she demanded, pushing Firdar out of the room and closing the door in his face, "And you aren't allowed in here either!" she called out from inside Kirei's room.

She turned back to Kirei, "Now where were we before I was so rudely interrupted? Something about torture, yes?" she asked, smiling brightly.

Kirei looked at her sister and was thankful for her brother. Out of them all, she liked Firdar the best. But of course his help was not that helpful. But the witch remembered one thing. Unlike with Sereda, she still had her powers. She went through the bed and the wall, escaping her sister.

Toan looked down at the tea and to his sister.

"I'm not thristy. Can you at least try to focus on the Terrans and not us."

Miridia

Huffing as her sister phased through the bed, escaping her clutches, she stomped her foot, "No fair! I didn't say you could run away!" she pouted, crossing her arms, "So be it; if you let the witch touch you and deny me, I'll just have to punish you later..." she said, turning to mist.

She glanced at her brother, the cup dissolving away like sand in the wind, "Who says I'm not paying attention? I always pay attention; besides, I know who my toy is...do you?" she inquired, taunting her brother, as she turned her gaze upon the new arrivals, quickly picking out Selphie, "And my, what a delectable treat she is..."

Selphie

"Alright everyone, stay together. Nia, please don't be rude, we need to make a good first impression." she said, pointedly glancing at her sister, "I know this seems...morbid, and it is, in a way; but this is going to be our home now, and we need to make the best of it."

From behind her, can a silky voice, laced with malevolence, "Home? My dear sweet plaything, toys don't have homes; and I'm so pleased to see I have so many!" Selphie rounded on the voice, screaming in shock as her eyes landed on the patchwork stitched flesh of the pink-haired girl standing behind her.

"Don't stare at me so, or I'll gouge your eyes out!" she said with a sadistically mirthful chortle, "I expect all of you to be at the welcoming feast on time, in a few moments; if anyone's late, I'll rip out your intestines...and skip rope with them!" she followed with a toothy smile, bearing her mouth full of razor-sharp teeth, the stitching in her lips pulled taut at the strain of her wicked smile.

Firdar frowned as Kirei stepped out of the room. HE examined his older sister critically. She didn't appear to be physically harmed, but clothes could hide many injuries and she looked like she hadn't slept in days.

"Are you okay, sister?" he asked softly.

A black cat glared at Miridia as she stepped out of the palace. As soon as she began threatening the newcomers, it hissed and ran past her, scratching her legs with its sharp claws before standing between her and Selphie.

"Meour!" it hissed.

Kirei looked at Firdar. A wave of emotions, varying from disgust to thankfullness washed through her and for a moment it looked like she was going to cry. But then Kirei shut down all those emotions and put on a straight face.

"I am fine Firdar," Kirei said. She didn't call any of her other siblings by their name often, but like she said before, Firdar was slightly different than them. He was the youngest after all. "But...has Sereda been to see you or invite you for tea?"

Toan moved forward and scanned the Terrans and then pointed to Nia.

"That is my bride," Toan told Miridia. Then he looked at Hanyer, Armas and Legis and smirked. "But I see better selections than her."

Hanyer shivered at Toan's words. He made a mental note to avoid the Ty'Scian heir.

Miridia

"Indeed you do," she said, glancing down at the cat, "Bad kitty," she said, grabbing the cat by the scruff of the neck, "Bad kitties get skinned and thrown into the cooking pot...bad people get skinned and hung in the gallery..." she said, a wicked looking knife materializing in her hand.

"I'll tell you what brother; give me the girl and you can have those three; I'll even make it a binding contract even father can't break!" she giggled gleefully, looking back at the black cat as she stroked it's stomach with the blunt edge of the knife.

"I'm pretty sure that one," Toan said, pointing to Legis, "Is Kirei's husband. Who should she have if I take him from her." But Toan was thinking about it. It would be better than having to deal with Nia.

Miridia

"Oh? And would she mind? Silly me, I was under the impression that she was against this!" she said, clearly surprised as she scratched head and inspected the claw flesh of her leg, "Oh, dear...I'm going to have to stitch that up..." she muttered, twisting her leg to get a better look.

"If she needs a love slave that bad, I'll satiate her needs...think I have a few things lying around somewhere. Daddy can get over it, and if need be, Sereda can have her, or I can! Or Dalia...Maybe Kirei can have Nia then...Oh dear, there are so many possibilities!" she squealed as she impaled the knife into her side, "There we go..." she said offhandedly as she reached into her brassier and pulled out a worn piece of parchment.

Looking over it, she grimaced, "Horrible...it'll be perfect!" she cheered as she coughed roughly...

Selphie

Observing the display before her, she was both disgusted and horrified as the girl stabbed herself with her own knife, still holding onto the cat as she retrieved a parchment from within her own erratic and flamboyant clothes.

Her shock wasn't over as the girl fell into a fit of coughing, black ichor matching that which soaked her self-inflicted wound speckled the ground; a bloody pen emerged from between her teeth and she turned her head, offering it to her brother.

What had they been dragged into?

"Hm, I guess Kirei doesn't want the boy anyways," Toan said, looking at Legis. He looked at Miridia. "Do you really he will accept me as his new betrothed? He doesn't seem gay or bi." Toan shrugged. "Give Kirei Nia. I will take her husband."

Hanyer was on his knees in front of Enma, shielding her from what Miridia was going. She didn't want the poor girl to be scarred right away.

Miridia

With the pen clenched between her teeth she offered him the writing utensil, holding out the parchment as her spilled blood oozed onto the paper, forming the words to the contract; basically stating that Kirei's husband and Toan's wife would be henceforth traded in matrimony, and that said contract could not be voided, negated or otherwise destroyed by anyone except the signee, no exceptions.

Talking around the pen in her mouth, "You'll need to sign with your own blood of course...and whether he wants you or not is up to you..."

(Should I....or shouldn't I? That is the question! I know Kirei and Toan won't mind, but Legis and Nia. Hm. What do you guys think? Should Toan sign it?)

((I think, in the end, you should go with the choice that is more interesting. It might be more interesting to see Toan cheat on his betrothed, on a Knight or attempting to seduce Legis or whatever. And Kirei's reactions and treatments of the blind Legis would also be very interesting. But again, it's your choice, Toko.))
