The Darkest Price (OT/Open/Accepting)

Terra, a beautiful place ruled by King Henry and his wife Lyra. They ended up having five children, but a couple months after their fifth child was born, Queen Lyra was murder. The man who had killed her, threaten to do the same to his children if King Henry didn't obey his demands. The man is King Tylaer of Ty'Scia, a distant dark country. He wanted the children to be married to his once the time was right. King Henry, not wanting his children to die agreed.

It is now ten years later and a messager has told King Henry it is time. He is sending his children to Ty'Scia with knights as their protector. Most of them aren't completely sure what is going to happen, but the older ones know that King Tylaer might be setting it up so upon their father's death, he will rule both countries. But is that all there is going on in the dark, dangerous land of Ty'Scia. Or does it hide more.

Rules and Such
1. No god-modding
2. You can curse, but don't over do it and censor the big ones.
3. No OOC fighting. Do it and you'll be kicked out.
4. You can have four characters.
5. Sexual orientration is up to you, but you must tell me what it is. After we get all ten royal members, I will pair them up for the marriages are arranged.
6. Going off 5, you can still have romances with others who aren't your fiance, but you'll probably have to be sneaky about it.
7. No over doing the romance/fighting and keep it teen please!
8. Let's have fun now.
9. Oh and be literate. Illiterate people irritate me to no end. I can understand typos and bad days though, but try and make your posts detailed and long and error free.
10. Terra is a more natural place. Elves, Angels, Mermaids, all peace loving/good natured/nature loving creatures will be here. Ty'Scia deals more with darker creatures like vampires, demons and the like.

He became a knight at the age of fifteen and began watching over the royal children because the King wanted their guards to be people around their age. At first she was laughed at, but eventually gained respect for her quickness, agility, and speed at which she shot arrows.

She decided to deal with the marriage, eventhough she didn't like the feeling of it. She was mainly the one who tried to keep a positive attitude among her siblings. Since they left for Ty'scia, she has kept to herself for a while, until she started adjusting to the sadness of leaving her home.

History: Albus Aleron is the son of the great general Ignatius Aleron a human, and a fair elven woman, of high status among the elves. At the time he was born there was some conflict between Ty'scia and Terra, his father was sent to deal with the conflict swiftly, and as matters escalated Ignatius was killed in battle. Because of this Albus was moved from the Royal city and began living with is mother. He grew up an aristocrat living an easy life and surprisingly his father's death seemed to have much bearing on the way he lived his life, but not in a way that would make him hold spite towards the Ty'scians. He only knew that his father was a great man and of his war stories. This encouraged him to try and measure up to his father's legacy. He wanted to be a great man just as his father was, thus despite being an Aristocrat he spent much time in with the impoverished starting small in making their lives better, and then as soon as he was old enough to handle a sword he began to practice. Though he carries some resemblance to his father his physical abilities leaned more towards that of an elf. More built for magic and quicker movement, but he was determined to overcome this, focusing little on casting magic and much more on incorporating his magic into his fighting style, much like his father who bore the "Blue Flame" a sword which used the power of fire. But his half ling blood was not powerful enough to use the unpredictable power of fire appropriately thus he instead used his power over wind to enhance his fighting ability. His village was impressed by his abilities as a fighter as well as his chivalry, as he was always protecting the weak as oppose to gaining more power through joining already powerful groups. Unlike many others who joined the Royal army, Albus left to become a knight at the young age or 12, instead of 15 the normal age required to enlist. He was accepted and he began living and working in the Royal city. Over his ten years in the forces he always worked in the lower quarter helping to improve the lives of the poor in the city, once again against what most believed to be a good career choice. In the military many of the soldiers would attempt to be obedient and make nice with the higher ups instead of hanging around with the citizens. In the end after ten years he achieved the rank of Lieutenant, he was hoping that he would be a colonel by now, but he is proud of what he has accomplished, achieving the title of "The White Knight of the Lower Quarter" and the praise and approval of the citizens, and prefers this over the life of a higher up. But now he has been assigned to escort the young princes and princesses. Rumor is that he is simply wanted to leave the Royal City because he is making many of the other higher ranking knights look bad in the eyes of the citizens. Albus believes that this might very well be a minor reason for sending him off like this, but he also believes it's because the king trusts that his compassion will lead him well in the dark lands, as well as offering the young nobility some final guidance before becoming part of the seemingly corrupt land. But above all he was wanted to see the land where his father died.

She knew her mother for six years, and doesn't really remember her very well, having put most of her memories of her away, associating her with the way she'd died. She tries her best to remember the good times with her, but finds any thought of her difficult to recall. He can be somewhat naive to some of the dark things in the kingdom, and it makes him somewhat innocent. He was the son of his father's second wife, so he's also slightly alienated from his older siblings, but he doesn't seem to mind. He gets a little lonely sometimes, but he's generally content to be by himself.

She started training, and one day when she came home, she found both her parents, devoid of blood, on the floor of their home, with neck wounds. A very pale man dressed in dark colors with piercing red eyes stood with a sadistic expression on his face. She was armed with all sorts of weapons, including stakes, which she nearly immediately thrust at his heart, with all her strength. He was killed. She had been fifteen then. Liona continued living with the knights, training harder than ever, to continue making her parents proud and to prevent such a terrible thing from happening to others again, though the event haunts her. After learning what King Tylaer had done to the Terran Queen, she began to secretly despise him, and will do whatever it takes to prevent anyone from getting hurt or even killed by him again.

This wasn't a drawback for him as it was for his brother, because his demon blood was overshadowed by his special ability, that gave him power over iron, a rare ability among the Ty'scian royal line. Many more were impressed with his abilities than taken aback by his demon heritage. Many even believed that he should take the throne rather than his older brother, and Rayd agrees with them. He has always worked hard on increasing his physical abilities, as well as his tactical mind, being trained by retired generals and among the most powerful soldiers. His father sees in him the makings of a fine king, ambitious, strong, smart, and above all ruthless. He has been approached by his father, who is encouraging to murder his brother and take the place of heir, and Rayd is considering it, and has once made an attempt, but he did not follow through. He's not sure he could take the life of his brother, even though he has already been in battle and taken lives before. His heart is cruel, leading him to order prisoners executed, beat servants, break the hearts of countless women once he had his pleasure, and he has put down many animals who have gone past their prime.

He can also use some other magic because of his demon blood, but prefers to nurture his current talent.

History: Rayd was born from the first wife of his father, giving him, like his older brother, demon blood. This wasn't a drawback for him as it was for his brother, because his demon blood was overshadowed by his special ability, that gave him power over iron, a rare ability among the Ty'scian royal line. Many more were impressed with his abilities than taken aback by his demon heritage. Many even believed that he should take the throne rather than his older brother, and Rayd agrees with them. He has always worked hard on increasing his physical abilities, as well as his tactical mind, being trained by retired generals and among the most powerful soldiers. His father sees in him the makings of a fine king, ambitious, strong, smart, and above all ruthless. He has been approached by his father, who is encouraging to murder his brother and take the place of heir, and Rayd is considering it, and has once made an attempt, but he did not follow through. He's not sure he could take the life of his brother, even though he has already been in battle and taken lives before. His heart is cruel, leading him to order prisoners executed, beat servants, break the hearts of countless women once he had his pleasure, and he has put down many animals who have gone past their prime.

Magic/Weapon: He uses a sword (as seen in picture) and a unique ability that occasionally appears in the royal bloodline. He has the ability to control iron, and any alloy containing it, and even create it on small scales. (currently) He uses this ability in his fighting. Extending his sword, and if he can make physical contact with it using the enemy's armor or weaponry against them. He can also use some other magic because of his demon blood, but prefers to nurture his current talent.
