Vampyres vs Slayers

"alright." She said, satisfied. "I love flying at night." She said, absent mindedly. She did corkscrews in the air and breathed in the crisp coolness of night.

"Me too," Felix told her with a shrug as he followed her. He scanned the humans below. Felix was a particular type of Vampyre. He fed only on the wicked.

Artemis looked around. "How far do we need to go?" She asked "I'm getting tired."

"We're there," Felix told her as he began his descent. He stood in front of his apartment and looked it over with a grin. The building looked like it was falling apart and a bum was laying by the door.

IC: Jack

Jack turned and before he could stop himself he roared at Hailee. He slapped his hand over his mouth and looked wide eyed at the newcomer.

"Now you have no choice. Kill them."

"They're human."

"Not the new one."

"What is she?"

"She stanks of blood."

"Vampyre..." muttered Jack.

"Just great," Kami growled in response to Jack's pronouncement of what the newcomer was. She shifted into a defensive position and let out another growl, this one a warning to the bloodsucker.

"Get lost," she snarled as she took a step towards the threat. "Or else you'll end up regretting it."

"Cool." She nodded, landing next to him. She looked the building over, 'better than some of the places i've stayed in at least.'

Felix grinned as he led her into the building and towards his apartment, "It's nothing compared to some of the places other Vampyres stay in."

She followed him. "I wouldn't know what other vampires stay in, I'm usually in a cave that i have some things in, see, I put a little furniture in every place I stay at, so that if I go bak there, it's there for me. So it's usually a place off the beaten track, like a cave or something."

“His blood is Crimson type G-092, with traces of human cells indicating a recent feasting,” muttered he softly while scribbling in the worn, leather-bound notebook. The corpse at his feet was still moving, twitching slightly in the dim light. “The subject is male and apparently of the Nagash bloodline, though it is severely watered down.”
He stepped over it and leaned down to inspect some detail on the writhing body. “The Median appears to be about 540 years old, but the poor state of his hereditary has limited the growth of his abilities. Geller-readings confirm this as he is only a 6.4 on the scale. If this inbreeding and watering-down of the bloodlines are common occurrences in today’s vampire society, I should have an easier job than previously expected.”
He took a few steps back to appreciate his handiwork, smiling softly to himself. Lazily he plugged the ear-phones back into his ears and turned on the music with a click of the iPod. What a glorious invention… A gramophone the size of your palm that directs music directly into your ear… Marvelous…
He glanced down at the vampire again as the music started playing.

Brain fried, tonight, through misuse…through misuse… through misuse…

The creature was lying spread-eagle on the hard pavement, each limb staked to the ground by massive silver spiked driven through his palms and ankles. A soft fizzing-sound was coming from the spikes as they seared the vampire’s flesh and sapped his energy. Around him was drawn a full circle in the Nosferato’s own blood and a simple pentagram within the circle, the corners of the pentagram being the silver spikes holding him to the ground. The final detail was the plain wood stake showed partly into his chest, sticking up like a flag planted by an explorer.

You can’t avoid static abuse… abuse… abuse…

Slowly he raised his foot and carefully placed the sole of his riding boot on the top of the stake. The corpse twitched in pain as the boot’s weight pressed down on the wooden weapon.

Without these pills you’re let loose… let loose… let loose…

With a sense of finality, the Black Mage leaned forcefully down on the stake, driving it clean through the vampire’s chest. The body strained it’s muscles in a final defiance before it slumped down, lying still as it should. With a slight curve of his lips, the Warlock stepped off the stake and began walking away nonchalantly, his head bobbing slowly in tune to the music.

Take off, get out, no excuse… no excuse… no excuse…

"Oh really? You two werewolves think you can take me," Hailee taunted. She didn't really want to fight them both. She was hoping one would chicken out or the human would cause a problem. Either way, there was going to be some blood shed. "And I'm not looking for a fight. Just give me the human and I'll leave you two mutts to your business."

"You really need to see the finer things in Vampyre society," Felix told Artemis with a grin as he unlocked his door. His apartment was fairly neat, though a bit messy. He grinned mischievously at Artemis, "I have only one bed..."

"I'll sleep on the couch." She said with a shrug. "Or the floor... It's no difference, nor a bother."

"Damn. I'm so used to hitting on mortal women that I sometimes forget that Vampyres have resistance to the Vampyric Seduction Charm," Felix commented with a grin.

She rolled her eyes and smiled. "Hahaha." She said dryly, although still smiling.

"It does get cold in here during the day," Felix told Artemis with a smile, "We could share bodyheat."

"No. I'll sleep on the couch, thank you." She said, walking over to the couch and laying down with a yawn.

"Can't blame a guy for trying," Felix commented as he approached his own bed. It was almost morning anyway.

She closed her eyes and quickly fell asleep, a bit of her hair falling in her face as she slept peacefully.

IC: Jack

Jack moved Nera and Kami behind him.

"And maybe I'll tear your throat out and watch you squirm," he growled at Hailee.

"Yeah...I think I like that idea much better."

"Why are you defending a human," Hailee asked. She was a bit put off by the werewolf's actions. They made no logical sense to her. "Have you gone mental or something?"

Nera was totally freaked out. She wanted to run away screaming, but she was frozen in place. It made no sense, but what was going on did comfirm that what she saw in the alley earlier was real. Kami, Jack and the girl were all monsters. But Jack was defending her. Nera was even more confused by this. Still she didn't question his actions. She knew better than to wonder why he was protecting her, when he could kill her or hand her over to....the vampire? Nera shivered at the thought.

(I've been grounded for abusing my hour-a-day limit. I don't know how long this grounding will be.)

(You don't need to wait for me. This RP is going slow enough (at least where my character is involved) that you guys can just keep going at the same pace. I'm going to try to post as often as possible.)

"Stop shoving me aside!" Kami growled as she started to step up next to Jack, but then paused at the slight movement from Nera. She turned to face the human, noting the terrified look in the young girl's eyes.

Making a snap decision, she placed herself just in front of the girl. "Mine," she growled at the bloodsucker, staking her claim on the girl.

IC: Jack

Jack growled at Hailee, taking a step forward.

"The girl is hers," he said, snarling at the Vampyre.

"And I'm top dog around here," he nodded his head towards Kami, "You bother her, you bother me. Now beat it, before the sun rises, leech."
