Code Lyoko: The Revenge of Xana

"I am Alison Schaeffer," Alison replied. "I am seventeen years old or at least that is what I believe. My father created Lyoko and I got trapped here by accident when I was two."

Alison smiled. "Is there anything else you would like to know?"

Aelita stepped away from the computer.
"That's wrong. You- my father created Lyoko. You're lying."

"Why would I lie about such a thing," Alison asked. She frowned. She was not lying and she didn't like to be accused of doing so. "My father, Waldo Schaeffer, created this world Lyoko. He was a brillant man. If someone else has taken credit for it, they are the ones lying."

Alison looked up at the sky. "What makes you think I am lying. You say your father created it? Who is he that would take credit for my father's work?"

Aelita slowly took off the headset and handed it to Jeremie, backing up even more. She seemed as though if she got too close to the computer, something awful would jump out and grab her.
"That's not possible." she kept repeating
"That's not possible. That's not possible."

"It's.... very improbable," Jeremie stated, shocked at the girl's revelations. Aelita had a sister? Or, at least, someone was claiming to be Waldo Schaeffer's daughter. It felt unreal. he spoke in the headset, "Aelita's father is Waldo Schaeffer and she doesn't remember any siblings."

Alison blinked at what Jeremie said. She tried to remember something, but her memory of her life outside Lyoko was hazy.

"How old is Aelita? It can be possible that I am indeed related, but older than Aelita. In this way she might not have known about my presence and the same for me."

"Chronologically, she's 24, but physically, she's 14 since you can't age in Lyoko," Jeremie replied cautiously. He didn't know if this was a trick by Xana or not.

"Then it is possible she is my younger sister. I vaguely recall my mother being fat." Alison rubbed her forehead. "You don't have to trust me. I can go back to my place. The glitch I lived in. Besides I do not know how to leave here anyways."

Odd shook his head. "I think we should trust her Jeremie. I mean she did help Aelita out and it could be possible that Aelita has a sister. She doesn't sound or look threatening and she seems as confused as we are."

"I agree. What do you guys think?" Jeremie asked with a nod, looking particularly at Aelita, wanting her opinion.

"I believe her." Aelita said weakly. She wasn't so sure she did, but if there was any chance she did have a sister, she couldn't leave her in Lyoko. She sat down and took a deep breathe. First the new teacher, now this, it was almost too much to handle.

"Now the question is, can we materalize her," Ulrich asked. He wasn't sure if they could trust this girl, but even if Yumi was with him, it would be three to two.

"I....find it hard to believe that Aelita has a sister she can't remember, but....stranger things have happened. It....wouldn't hurt to at least materalize her, once, here. And....can't we materalize her like you do with us?" Yumi asked.

"Who knows. She might have useful information as well," Odd pointed out. Also Odd didn't want to leave her in Lyoko. She was...cute.

Jeremie looked at Aelita in concern. It seemed that reality was conspiring to unnerve her. At Ulrich's question, however, he simply nodded.

"It shouldn't be anymore difficult than materializing a normal person," he said as he began typing into the computer, "The file with her DNA should be here, somewhere..."

He nodded and pressed enter, "Let's see if this does it."

Alison frowned as she heard the word materialize. She wondered what they meant to do. Then she felt a weird sensation and everything went white.

"Aaahhhh," Alison called out as she stumbled forward. Something felt wrong. She was no longer in Lyoko.

Aelita already had the elevator sent down to the chambers. She wanted meet this girl so they could figure out this was all a misunderstanding. The girl must be wrong, Aelita was an only child.

Alison blinked as she looked around the scanner room. She noticed the elevator and assumed that since it was empty, she was to go on it.

"Well I'm already here, so why not," she told herself, getting onto the elevator. Once she stepped off it she saw the people who were just in Lyoko and another boy. She waved timidly at them, not sure what to do now.

Aelita stepped away from the girl, but only slightly. She was very frustrated with everything at the moment.
"What was your mother's name?" she asked quietly.

"Anthea. Her name is Anthea," Alison answered. Then she smiled just a little. "A seems to be a popular letter for names."

Aelita resigned and stepped away, she no longer had faith in her reality. Everything was wrong.
"I give up." she sighed.

Alison looked at Aelita, not sure whether to be symapathetic or angry at her reaction.

"You think this is easy for me? I spent my life in Lyoko. In a glitch. I haven't had human contact in so long. So you are not alone in your feeling of confusion. I do not even know what is going on or who you people are. Why were you in Lyoko and how? What is going on with my home?"

Ulrich and Odd exchanged looks and Ulrich shrugged. Odd rubbed his forehead. "Ok all this is making my head hurt. Is this girl Aelita's sister?"

"Don't think it's so easy for us either. I was stuck in Lyoko for most of my life as well. Anyway, we were there because a computer program called Xana has come back after being shut down a while ago." Aelita tried to explain calmy. She called Xana a computer program, but adter all they'd been through, it almost seemed wrong. It seemed like Xana was just an evil entity.

Jeremie looked at Aelita in concern. He knew it must be hard for her. Franz Hopper never mentioned his other daughter in his journals and she didn't have all her memories from her past. He wished he could help. He looked at Alison apologetically.

"I should have spotted a glitch in Lyoko. I'm sorry," he told her.

"It's not your fault, Jeremie." Aelita said.
"It really isn't. The glitch was probably very old. It would have been hard tto spot."
