Succession: Rebellion

Rein

"I sure do wish we could sleep a little longer, and do certain...activites." Rein said, blushing a little.

"But we're probably going to eat breakfast soon, and head out."

C.C.

"The all might Tsuba has given me a new assignment. Apparently Maul and I are suppose to lead search teams to find Nebi anc Carlisle respectively. We're allowed to form our own teams, and bring whoever we deem necessary. I'm bring you with me, if you don't mind. After all, I don't want you to lag behind in your lessons. And I'm sure you'd appreciate the change in pace." C.C. explained.

Syrien

"I did." he admitted. "But, when I have the chance, I should teach you a meditative pose. It'll allow you to rest, but remain highly alert and attune to even the slightest disturbance."

Carlisle

"I'm sure that the young Lady is quite capable of handling herself. But I'm sure you've heard, even the Heirs Nebi and Kegan were eventually captured by the Empire. With all of their skills they were worn down. Now if I am captured for whatever reason...they wont arrest Mab, and they certainly will not let her go, Priestess. They will kill her." Carlisle reminded Chris. His eyes drifted towards Mab as he began to grow nervous.

Brighe

"Thank you Syrien."

Kegan

Kegan blushed as he heard Rein's reply. "Well umm...Atiya looks sound asleep enough. And I know Brighe wouldn't want either of us to help with food...."

Katie

Katie couldn't help but smile at the news from C.C. . True, the mission wasn't exactly a pleasant one. But the break would be nice. "Oh C.C. ...I really would love to go, but I'm learning how to properly write a letter to my future mother-in-law. You know I would hate to miss something so important." Katie stated, not being able to stop herself from giggling when she was done.

Rein

"Well...when you put it that way..." Rein admitted, blushing more. She leaned over to Kegan and kissed him on the lips.

"It...sounds like a good idea to me."

Syrien

"You are welcome. Do you acquire any assistance in finding our breakfast?" Syrien inquired.

C.C.

"Oh well, if you insist..." C.C. teased, heading toward the door to Katie's room.

(Carlislie give it up. Chris is about ready to tie you two together. XD)

Chris only smiled at Carlislie's words. She then turned to Mab. The two girls had a brief quiet discussion. After it was over, Mab was frowning and she looked at Carlislie with a mix of worry and interest. Chris walked off, leaving the two behind.

"I trust Chris's judgment. I will go with you if I have to, but I will not force you to let me. And I am not afriad of dying. I have faith in myself and Apollo," she said, sounding like Chris in that moment. "Chris says the choice is yours though."

(Time to move away from Rein and Kegan for now.)
Kegan

Kegan smirked at Rein's reply before lightly moving Atiya over so Rein could get out of the bed. "Come on, same place as last night?"

"If you don't mind, can you take care of it this morning?" Brighe asked as she turned and looked back at Syrien.

Carlisle

Carlisle stood in silence as he looked at Mab. He could tell that something had changed with the girl. The way her demeanor was now...she was calmer to say the least. "Chris told you your fate finally?" Carlisle asked out of the blue.

"No," Mab said, a little of her irration coming into her voice. "But she told me yours. And that I would play a part in it. Chris said that it's for the best she doesn't tell me though she promises she will when I come back if I do."

Rein

"Of course." Rein replied. She smiled and took Kegan's hand, almost dragging him over to the forest.

Syrien

"Of course." Syrien replied. He went over to the shelter first to wake up Rein, Kegan, and Atiya, but did not find two of the three there. He frowned and went back to Brighe.

"It seems two of our three wards are gone. Care to take a guess as to who?"

Brighe

Brighe groaned before standing up. There was no way she was going to be able to relax now. "Great.... We'll leave them to that then, you get breakfast, I'll get the preparations ready for out departure."

Katie

Katie practically shrieked in glee as she jumped out of the bed after C.C. "I was kidding!" She shouted before looking around and realizing that she was still in a room full of other people that were sleeping. "You know I was kidding, you jerk." Katie whispered in reply before playfully hitting C.C.'s shoulder.

Carlisle

Carlisle shifted his position awkwardly as his mind began to race and wonder how much exactly did Mab know. "So...I take it you know my identity then?"

C.C.

"Oh? Were you? Sorry, I couldn't tell." C.C. continued to tease, playfully smirking at Katie.

Syrien

"Very well." Syrien said. He went out toward the forest (making sure to avoid anywhere near Kegan and Rein) and began to search for their breakfast.

Liona was grateful for the dawn of a new day. It was beginning just like any other day, at least for her. But as she attended to her duties, she began to hear things through the grapevine... Tsuba was sending teams of soldiers after the heirs.

Yesterday was fresh in her mind, and the fighting was brought back to her. There was just something about what she'd had to do the day before... it made her feel... confident. Like she could actually contribute to the empire now, like she was finally doing something right. Even if, in the back of her mind, she knew it was wrong. And this new part of her ached for some sort of change in her daily life, some sort of... adventure. This new feeling ignored the corruptness she knew that Empress Tsuba possessed. She wanted to accomplish more.

(Sorry that I keep screwing up with Nell.)

Maul

"You are Liona, correct?" Maul asked, approaching her.

((It's fine, Toko. We all make mistakes. Though you could use that post again when Katie and C.C. start traveling through the halls.))

Katie

"Oh whatever! You are so full of it." Katie replied, a giant grin on her face as she followed the Mage out into the hall in her night gown.

(It's because I can't read....XD)

Nell spotted C.C and Katie and he smiled, his tail wagging behind him. He followed behind them, but not too close as to be noticed right away.

Liona turned to see a Kaleesh man approach her. She'd heard of him; he'd been linked to the throne, and he now served the empress. She stood up a little straighter, glancing at the ground before looking up at him. Those groups going after the other heirs came to mind.

"Yes, I am Liona," she replied. What could he possibly want with her? He had such a high position there.

C.C.

"Whatever you say, Dear." C.C. said, sticking out her tongue at Katie briefly. Her eyes scanned Katie for a few moments. The Mage smiled and said,

"Hm, my my. You're willing to travel with me and a bunch of hormonal soldiers wearing just a nightgown, Katie? That's mighty brave of you."

Syrien

Nearly an hour later Syrien came out of the jungle, a collection of various fruits and animal meat bundled up in a sack he carried with his hands. Around that same time, Rein stumbled out of the jungle, wearing a wide and stupid grin. This time her shirt wasn't on backwards, but her clothes were rather messed up.

Syrien frowned at her, but said nothing as he approached Brighe.

Maul

"I am recruiting men and women for the task of retrieving Heir Carlisle. I heard of your bravery in the Arena, and I was wondering if you might be interested in joining our quest." Maul asked.

(Oh Toko, mind posting with Mab?)
Katie

Katie blushed as C.C. pointed out her clothing problem. "Fine I'll just be a...Nell?" Katie said as she noticed the young boy standing farther down the hallway. Of course Katie immediately realized that he was watching her while she was in her underwear.... "...Wait there!"

Within a flash, Katie was back in the room she shared with the other Servants. Five minutes later she was back out wearing a male Servant uniform that she had stolen a few months back.

Brighe/Kegan

Brighe was sitting beside two bags, Atiya in her lap as Syrien walked up. "Excellent."

Liona

Liona tried not to look shocked and overwhelmed with joy. She composed herself quickly, so that her inexperience would not be shown.

"I would be honored," she said, in her most mature voice.

"I know you're name and I know you're running from the Empress, but that is all I know," Mab admitted. "Why is there something you want to tell me?"

Sunny left her room and headed to the soldier's barrack. She wondered if she was going to be assigned to look for the escaped Heirs. It was more than likely.

C.C.

"Well, that will do I suppose. Are you ready now? You aren't forgetting anything you need?" C.C. asked.

Rein, Syrien

Rein stumbled over to Syrien, Brighe, and Atiya. She straightened out her clothes and did her best to compose herself. Syrien sat the sack in the middle of them and unfolded it, presenting the food.

"I, uh, miss anything?" Rein asked.

Maul

"Good. Pack your things, and report outside the castle walls." Maul informed her before walking away.

Brighe/Kegan

Brighe looked up at Kegan and Rein. "We're leaving. While you two were out there, Syrien and I-plus Atiya of course- made all the necessary preparations."

Carlisle

Carlisle bit his lip as he looked at the girl. "...I'll tell you later. Come on, we need to go now." The Doctor replied as he gave his consent.

Katie

"Yeah...." Katie said as she scanned the halls, looking to see if Nell was still around or not.

Liona

Liona gave a quick nod, and started for her quarters. She packed her things as quickly as possible. She didn't want to be late for anything like this. She had to prove herself again, though there weren't many to prove to. But this was her chance.

Syrien, Rein

"Oh, good." Rein said. Syrien prepared the food for them all and it was soon ready for them to eat. After breakfast was over, Syrien put what was left of their meal away for later, and went back toward the forest to dismantle the shelter.

"Where are we going?" Atiya asked in a sleepy voice.

C.C.

"Very well." C.C. lead Katie and herself toward the palace's exit and out toward the grounds, where many other men and women were amassing, Baruti, Senka, and Lord Kian Stienberg among them.

Maul

Maul finally located the room where he was told Savina was living in, and lightly knocked on the door.

Brighe/Kegan

Kegan leaned down and smiled at Atiya before replying. "Well first, we're gonna walk a long way east towards the city of Flan. Then, just a short wlk north to the much bigger and much more fun city of Lyanor." Kegan informed his Daughter, glancing up at Bright every few seconds to make sure he was getting it right.

"You want to ride on your Daddy's shoulders for a while, Atiya?"

Savina

A large clashing noise could be heard behind the door after maul had knocked on it. This was followed by some swearing and thumping, all of it sounding like Savina. "Yes?" Savina asked as she cracked the door open.

Atiya

"Sure!" Atiya exclaimed, snapping out of her tired state. She reached her hands up to let Kegan pick her up.

Maul

"Hello, Savina. I require use of your Seer skills." Maul said.
