| It has been two years, two long years, since Empress Tsuba took the throne of the Gaborian Empire, the greatest superpower in the land of Adas' long history. Like many Emperors and Empresses of old, Empress Tsuba reigns with absolute authority, stiffling any attempt at reform and crushing those she perceives as threats to her rule.
Despite her success and the Gaborian Empire expanding more than ever thanks to the immense power that the Throne of the Emperors had granted her, Tsuba continued to be paranoid. Others of the Royal Bloodline still exist, outside of her prisons and control. Worse still, there are rumors of rebellions against the Empire and/or her rule. Tsuba fears this. She will stop at nothing to ensure her continued rule. If the streets must run with blood, then so be it...
Rules No god-modding Please post at least 2-3 sentences per posts. Keep this PG-13. Keep cursing the minimum. Please don't make your character too powerful or smart.
General Information The Gaborian Empire- This empire primarily consists of humans, though it also includes non-human races as a result of its conquests. The nobles, government officials, and Emperors tend to be cruel, power-hungry, and incredibly wealthy, though this isn't always the case. Beneath them are the soldiers, merchants, artisians, commoners, conquered peoples, etc. Their views and attitudes vary from person to person and place to place.
Magic- Yes, it exists in this roleplay, but it is rare. For humans, it is usually confined to families with magical bloodlines but it isn't unheard of for someone outside those families to exhibit talent in magic or for one within a magical family to have no talent at it. In the Gaborian Empire, all families with bloodlines are closely watched and many are forced to work for the Empire. Magic can do almost anything but it's limited by imagination and energy, usually the energy of someone using magic but magical energy can be gathered elsewhere, most notably from gems or the practice of "Blood Magic" where blood or life is sacrificed for greater power.
The Royal Bloodline- The Gaborian Empire is linked to this magical bloodline. Only one with this blood flowing in their veins can rule the Empire. Most people with this bloodline have a strong affinity with magic, a necessity for being an Emperor or Empress.
Other Races- These include Elves, Dwarves, etc. Within areas of the Gaborian Empire with a human majority, they are feared or looked down upon but those who work for the Emperor are respected and feared. Their magical affinity vary from race to race.

| Name: Baruti Age: 65 Gender: Male Race: Human Appearance: Baruti is hooded and cloaked most of the time because he dislikes showing his face for unknown reasons. His eyes would grow an icy blue whenever he uses a lot of magic. Magic?: Yes Royal Bloodline?: No Personality: Although Baruti attempts to maintain the image of a noble servant of the Gaborian Empire, he can and will be cruel and has a "survival of the fittest" philosophy. He believes that only the strongest rule. However, despite himself, Baruti does have kernal of decency in him as he truly cares for the Empire and its citizens. History: Baruti has been a government official for many decades. Born in a noble family, he was armed with the right education and attitude to rise in the government of the Gaborian Empire. Through careful machinations, many of which would be considered immoral or "evil", he rose through the ranks to become the Steward of the Empire. With that position, Baruti received a magical seal on his forehead to prevent him from seizing power for himself. With Emperor Anpu's death, he oversaw the selection of the next ruler of Gaboria. Subsequently, Tsuba went behind his back to get herself declared Emperor. Now, he watches events with great interest, influencing Gaborian policies as he always has. Other: Name: Nebi Age: 17 Gender: Male Race: Human Appearance: Magic?: Yes. Royal Bloodline?: Yes. Personality: Nebi is a wary but kind individual. He does his best to do the right thing, from his point of view, of course. He can be critical of people, especially ones with power, and a bit sarcastic. He's intelligent, however, and knows how to get himself out of tight spots. History: Nebi was born on the streets of the Empire's capital. Like countless others, he never knew who his parents were nor did he care that much. He survived on the streets however he could, sometimes finding work, other times, stealing. At a young age, he discovered he had talents using magic, something which helped to make his life easier whether it was to keep out of sight or to light a fire to distract guards chasing after him. He was happy though and enjoyed his way of life. Understandably, he was quite surprised that when a magician and a group of guards caught him and brought him to the palace, he was declared one of the possible heirs to the Gaborian throne. Figuring he had nothing to lose, Nebi decided to play the game in the hopes of actually winning. Over the course of the game, Nebi became popular with the servants and slaves within the Emperor's Palace as well as one of the forge masters, Gilkas, a Dwarf. He also found himself in a relationship with C.C., the immortal and last Mage alive. He was broken-hearted when he had to depart when Tsuba took the throne and began hunting her fellow Heirs. Two years later, he has been captured and brought to the Capital to be brought before Tsuba. Other: Is skilled in swordsmanship and pyromancy as well as a few other types of magic. Name: Gilkas Age: 67 Gender: Male Race: Dwarf Appearance: Magic?: Yes Elemental Affinity: Earth Royal Bloodline?: No Personality: Gilkas takes pride in his work and is generally a kind person, but he is also gruff and stubborn. He is loyal to his friends and deadly to his enemies. History: Gilkas grew up in the Iron Hills, the son of a prominent Smith. His clan was one of those that made a pact with the Empire, agreeing to sell their goods to them in exchange for not being conquered. One day, Gilkas decided to make a name for himself and traveled to the Gaborian Empire and, because of his superior skill, rose to prominence, receiving a forge of his own at the Palace. He has an intense rivalry with the Goblin Smith. During the competition, Gilkas struck up a friendship with Nebi, starting with the Heir choosing to use his equipment in the Challenges. Since Tsuba took the throne, Gilkas has worried about Nebi, though he'd never admit it. He has also grown concerned about Tsuba's more tyrannical tendencies, hesitating to present his best work to Gaboria's Imperial Army. Other: Wields a Warhammer and is able to forge unique weapons and armor. He is also strong enough to wear heavy armor with little effort. Name: Alquonde Age: Since the Dawn of Time Gender: Male Race: God Appearance: http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs18/f/2007/212/4/7/The_Wanderer_by_aautio.jpg Magic?: Yes Royal Bloodline?: In a Matter of speaking. Personality: Alquonde can be called "eccentric". He has a great appreciation for life and nature. He even calls Death a "gift". Mostly, he seems to act like an eccentric old wanderer, but underneath is a wise and powerful spirit. History: Alquonde was one of the Three Creators, charged by their own Creator, the All-Father who dwelt outside the world, to form it according to His teachings from before the Dawn of Time. Alquonde was the youngest and most intrigued when sentient life emerged, a surprise to him and his brothers from their Father. Eventually, the world was established and he and his brothers created the "Realm of the Gods", beyond mortal sight but still within the world. Eventually other gods appeared, either from beyond the world or in mysterious ways for gods can have offspring, but that power belongs to Alquonde and his two brothers' creator, the All-Father. While the others gods dwelt for the most part in their Blessed Realm, watching and occasionally appearing, Alquonde often grew bored and traveled throughout the world, teaching those that would listen to him. Unfortunately, though, the mortal races often warred with one another, especially the humans. Thus he made a pact with Ye-Yong, the Founder of the Gaborian Empire. Alquonde would grant him an Empire if he brought peace and prosperity about. Thus, Alquonde plucked his finger and gave Ye-Yong to drink one drop of divine blood, the true source of the Royal Bloodline. But Alquonde made a grave error in judgment for he did not understand evil back then, nor can he ever fully understand it. Ye-Yong grew proud and conquered rather than unite and the Gaborian Empire became as it was today. Alquonde was saddened, bu tYe-Jong kept his end of the bargain and ended the wars. The other gods banished him from the Realm of the Gods and Alquonde began to wonder the earth, pondering his mistake, trying help those in need, and asking the All-Father for guidance. Other: Since he is forced to dwell in a physical form, Alquonde's powers are greatly reduced, but still quite powerful.

| Here are all my characters from the last RP. I may make one more or two for this.
Name: Syrien Age: 51 Gender: Male Race: Elf Appearance: http://choffman36.deviantart.com/art/Spock-s-beard-53334762 Magic?: Yes Royal Bloodline?: No Personality: Syrien often keeps his emotions in check, and thinks with logic. He rarely gets angry, but he does care deeply for his adopted daughter. History: Syrien has been a slave all of his life. He was separated from his parents when he was fifteen. Unlike most Elf slaves though, he has never even tried to rebel. Syrien came from a small sect of Elves who followed the ways of their ancestors, thinking by logic and keeping down emotions. Syrien has followed his sect of Elves’ ways for all of his life so far. When he turned twenty-one, he was made into the personal slave of the former Emperor. While in the palace Syrien was taught how to use magic and to protect the Emperor with it. Thereafter he signed a binding contract that would make sure he always kept loyal to the Emperor, and could never rebel. Nearly three decades later, Syrien is a master at magic. One of the best elf users, many say.
Five years before the Emperor’s death, Syrien adopted a Humage servant at the castle named Rein. He took her under his wing and taught her what he could without getting in trouble. He cares very deeply for her, as if Rein was his own flesh-and-blood. After the last Emperor was assassinated, Syrien went into a self-imposed exile for not preventing his master’s death. After he came out of it, he observed the competition between the Heirs for the throne. While he tried not to pick favorites, the Elf came to prefer Kegan. When Tsuba became Empress and had the other Heirs declared fugitives, Syrien was forced to obey his new master’s command and tried to arrest Kegan. He fled, though Syrien made no attempt to catch him. Rein was heartbroken when he left, as she had fallen in love with Kegan and had become his fiancĂ©. Syrien has comforted his daughter as best as he could during the next two years, though she still yearns for her missing love. Other:
Name: Rein Age: 17 Gender: Female Race: Humage Appearance: http://www.freewebs.com/nienajan/meirin1-4[1].jpg Magic?: Yes, but only the basic skills. Royal Bloodline?: No Personality: Rein is often a cheery girl, and always smiles. Even though Rein is a palace servant she does not seem to mind her job. The past two years, though, Rein has become more depressed and saddened. Still, she tries to maintain her cheery attitude. History: At a young age her father sold Rein into slavery so he could pay off his gambling debts. After serving a nobleman for a short time, Rein was sent to the palace to become a servant. A few days later Syrien took her into his wing and formerly adopted her. Rein has been very grateful toward her adoptive father, and hopes to make him proud someday. Rein has worked hard in her job, striving to do her best. She is mostly a cleaning lady, though she has done other chores. Rein only knows basic magic taught to her by Syrien, since he cannot teach her much more without getting into deep trouble. Rein hit it off real well with Kegan, an old friend of her’s. Their friendship started to progress into something more when they started to go out. Rein, after awhile, realized she was in love with Kegan, and found out he felt the same way. Shortly thereafter, Kegan proposed to Rein. She gratefully accepted.
Then Tsuba became Empress, and Kegan and the other Heirs were declared enemies of the Empire. While she begged to go with Kegan, he refused, and went on the run without her. Rein was brokenhearted and soon fell into a deep depression. Her father, Syrien, managed to get her through the worst of it, but Rein still desperately misses Kegan and wishes to reunite with him again one day. A few months after Tsuba's crowning as Empress, Rein discovered she was pregnant with Kegan's child. While it was somewhat of a burden on her, Rein still wanted to have the child, especially since it was the last piece of Kegan she had left. She wasn't pregnant long, since Humages are more magically connected creatures, and magic speeds up the creation of a child, and give birth to her new baby girl six months later. She and Syrien have come to raise the child together. Other:
Name: Hazuki Age: 20 Gender: Female Race: Humage Appearance: http://amaretti.deviantart.com/art/Sakura-60087329 Magic?: Yes Royal Bloodline?: No Personality: Hazuki is a fierce and determined girl. She does not let anything get in her way, and would do anything to make sure the Gaborian Empire fell, including doing many acts that some would view as deplorable. History: Hazuki was sold into slavery at a young age by her parents. She rebelled against her masters, and was nearly beaten to death. The Rebellion came to her rescue, and raised her. Hazuki was soon mentored and trained by Sasoria, the rebel’s unofficial leader. She came to view him as a type of surrogate father, and loved him deeply. A year ago, the Gaborian Military killed him and many other rebels in a raid. Hazuki was crushed by his death, but strove to move forward. With one of the most influential people in the rebellion dead, hope seemed to be fading fast. Hazuki rose up and took up her mentor’s position, holding the Rebellion together through that hard time. Now she has gained the status of being an ‘unofficial leader’, much like her mentor once was. Hazuki has gladly taken the torch and continues to fight against Empress Tsuba and the Gaborian Empire, seeking to free the people from their oppressive reign. Other:
Name: Kaleb Age: 25 Gender: Male Race: Human (We think) Appearance: Large muscles, completely bald, blue eyes, looks pretty much normal. Magic?: No Royal Bloodline?: No Personality: Kaleb is....well, for a lack of a better phrase, a child in a man's body. History: Kaleb, for reasons still unknown, was sent to the dungeons of Mordor. He ended up being a prison mate to Caesar, and constantly annoyed him to near death. Kaleb would be dead if he weren't so strong, which is why Caesar kept him around. While Caesar was at the palace, Kaleb took to following him around like a sidekick, albeit an unwanted one. Since Caesar disappeared, Kaleb has been trying to find him ever since. Other:
Name: Caesar Age: 16 Gender: Male Race: Humage Appearance: http://jjh.deviantart.com/art/Dark-Wizard-33833034 Magic?: Yes Royal Bloodline?: Yes Personality: Caesar is a bit of an...eccentric man, to say the least. He takes pleasure in causing people pain, and is a very cruel person. History: Caesar was born to Humage parents, a type of Human sub-species that is very proficient in magic. However, Caesar was no ordinary Humage. Something inside his mind was not right. When he was ten, he murdered his parents and Mage Master using Dark Magic, usually unpracticed and forbidden to Humages. He was sentenced to life in prison. Four years later the Emperor died, and Caesar was discovered to have a connection to the Royal Bloodline.
Reluctantly, Caesar was let out of prison so he could compete for the throne. During the competition, it was discovered that at least five different personalities inhabited Caesar’s body. It was also found out that Caesar wasn’t the original host. However, unlike Caesar, most of the other personalities are kind and harmless. While he competed for the throne, Caesar fell in love with a girl named Susanna. He used his powers to eventually twist the girl, making her into a monster just like him. When she was killed, Caesar became furious. The resulting explosion of magic nearly killed him, and many others. Since then Caesar has been missing, out of sight for nearly two years. However, that may soon change… Other:
Name: Maul Age: 20 Gender: Male Race: Kaleesh Appearance: http://theaphex.deviantart.com/art/Darth-Maul-57766626 Magic?: Yes Royal Bloodline?: Yes Personality: Maul is cold and efficient. He believes in true logic and justice above all else. He has been taught to put aside emotion, and listen to ultimate justice. He trys not make friends, but allies. History: Maul is a Kaleesh, a race of war-like beings, and cousins of Orcs. The great Empire conquered the Kaleesh nearly a thousand years ago. At first they resisted any attempts at integration, but as time passed they adjusted. Most Kaleesh join the army, some have even risen as far as the rank of Major General. Female Kaleesh are the more brutal of the two sexes, and usually are trained to become elite assassins. Kaleesh are one of the most common and feared races within the Empire, for their demonic appearance. Kaleesh, both male and female, use their appearances to their advantages.
When Maul was a young boy, the Order of the Shadows saw potential within him and took him in. The Order of the Shadows are the elite Hidden Fist of the Empire. They report directly to the Emperor or Empress. The Order of the Shadows believes in true, cold logic and justice, seeing none above the law. Not even the Emperor is above the law, in their eyes. They train their members in both body and mind, seeking to make them into perfect soldiers to serve and promote justice within the Empire. The Order seeks to eliminate the greed and crime within the powerful kingdom.
Maul has been with the Order most of his life, having long ago cast away his previous life. He has gone on dozens of missions since his Crowning, and has killed many to help serve justice. It was discovered he was linked to the throne via his father’s side. After a council with the Elders, Maul left the Order to compete for the throne. He fought fiercely for the title, and eventually struck up an odd friendship of sorts with Carlisle, shortly after the doctor became his Vassal. When Tsuba became Empress, the assassin had no other choice but to serve her, as his Order dictated. Other: He has a double-bladed sword.
Name: C.C. Age: Appears 17, but true age is unknown Gender: Female Race: Mage Appearance: http://geminigiltenkreuz.deviantart.com/art/Code-Geass-C-C-97295848 Magic: Yes Royal Bloodline: No Personality: C.C. appears to be a cold woman, but after untold centuries of life, she has grown to push people away so they don’t get close to her. She tends not to make friends if the immortal can help it. History: C.C. is the last of her kind. Some thousands of years ago, the Gaborian Empire was just starting out. Ye-Jong the First, the original Emperor, had plans to conquer the Mage Kingdom, made up of a race of ancient magical beings. At first he gained diplomatic ties to the Mage Kingdom, and seduced its Princess. Her name has been long lost to history. Ye-Jong eventually succeeded in getting the Princess to fall in love with him. His first plan was to get them both married and merge the two kingdoms into one. However her father was against it. So the Emperor went with his second plan.
Ye-Jong convinced the Princess to side with him, and had her open the Gates to the kingdom, so his army could invade. For centuries the Mage Kingdom had been protected by a series of Magical Gates that could only be destroyed by a royal family member. When the Princess removed the gates, the Mage Kingdom was instantly invaded. The Mage Council of Elders found out about the Princess’ treachery, and put a curse upon her. She was cursed with immortality, and would forever live as a servant to the Emperors of the Gaborian Empire until the Empire fell, or the Emperor released her from her bonds.
In the end the Mages were conquered, and eventually died out, save for the cursed Princess. Eventually she discarded her name for a new one, C.C. For thousands of years she has continued to serve the Emperors and Empresses of the Empire. So far the Empire has not died out, nor has she been released from her bonds. C.C. has long given up hope to ever be released.
While she tried not to get close to any of the Heirs, she eventually formed a relationship with Nebi, becoming his lover for a time. She also struck up a friendship with a Noblewoman named Susanna, and her cousin Katie. When Susanna descended into madness and eventually died, C.C. was heartbroken. Once Nebi became a fugitive after Tsuba became Empress, he was forced to leave, also breaking her heart. Thankfully, Katie was still there for C.C., and thus the two have become very close. Right now, Katie is C.C.’s apprentice, learning magic under her. Other: Humages are direct descendents of Mages. They are sub-species of the dead Mages.
Name: Tsuba Age: 19 Gender: Female Race: Human Appearance: http://torokun.deviantart.com/art/Gundam-00-ep18-fanart-77486770 (Minus the lightsaber, of course.) Magic?: Yes Royal Bloodline?: Yes Personality: Tsuba is a manipulative girl, who will do anything to accomplish her goals. She views everyone in her life as tools to further advance her goals. History: Tsuba grew up a privileged life, being the daughter of the Major General. She was always given the best food, clothes, and etcetera. Basically, she lived the life a spoiled rich child. She is completely loyal to her Empire, and is racist against non-humans. When Tsuba was discovered to have Royal Blood, she jumped at the chance to join the contest to become Empress. After using a loophole in Gaborian law to her advantage, she became the new Empress. Now, two years later, she has been trying to capture all the Heirs and crush the various rebellions. Other:

| Name: Carlisle Driscoll Age:19 Gender: Male Race: Human Appearance: Carlisle has light blond hair, cut so short it's practically shaved. His eyes are violet in color, and his skin is pale. He is 5' 11" and weighs 187 lbs, almost all of it being muscle. There are quite a few scars all over his body. Magic?: Yes. Wizardry and Alchemy, Element: Water Position?(Rebel, Soldier, Noble(wo)man, citizen, etc.?):Heir. Currently in prison. Personality: Carlisle is broken. Most people would describe him as quiet, helpful, and very private. He is extremely self-loathing and depressed, full of regrets for his actions a few years back. History: Carlisle was born into the small village of Castor in the south-western edge of Gaboria, his mother died during childbirth and Carlisle's father blamed him for it until the day Carlisle left his home. He lived a decent and quiet in the village until he was thirteen when his father told Carlisle to leave the home and not come back until he had a trade.
So Carlisle left and traveled northward to the large town of Bree, where he tried smithing, sewing and farming for his trades, but none of them stuck to him. He eventually met a kind old man named DR. Laro, who offered to teach him the many different methods of healing for free. So for the next few years Carlisle learned how to collect herbs and make potions, healing magic and plain making bandages.
He was enjoying his studies until one day, the Army came for him and informed him that he was a royal heir and that he would have to compete for the crown. Carlisle tried refusing but was told that it simply couldn't be done. The next eight months Carlisle's life went through a tailspin. He forged close bonds with Heirs Maul and Epiphany, and even gained the sympathy of the likes of Baruti, Nebi, and Kegan. The perception that most people had of Carlisle that he was pathetic and one of the people who would surely die before the competition was over. But the Doctor revealed himself to be a powerful magician near the end, having studied almost constantly for the past few years of his life. During the last two challenges, Carlisle began to form a relationship with Tsuba, sleeping with her eventually. Unfortunately for the Doctor, she revealed that she had been lying to him the entire time, just because she wanted to see what the Doctor was like so she could break him. While mourning and feeling a great deal od self-pity, Carlisle desperately began looking for a loophole out of the competition again. Something he eventually succeeded at by becoming Heir Maul's Vassal, making their friendship and bond become even closer.
After Tsuba became Empress, Carlisle was the only Heir to give himself up peacefully. He was confined into isolation and kept there for six months as he was transported back to the Capital. After he had arrived, it was revealed to the Doctor that he was going tbe forced to fight in the Arena, where he would either have to kill or be killed. The Doctor quickly adapted to the situation, eventually becoming famous for being a cold and quiet monster in the Arena. In fact, he hasn't even spoken once during the past fourteen months. Carlisle was eventually provided nicer quarters, though he was still kept in isolation, except for the occasional visit from a curious Nobleperson or two, though they quickly grew bored once they realized there were no answers to be had.
But now Carlisle is tired of being forced to kill, of being alone, and he'll do anything to get out. Other: Carlisle is a powerful fighter with swords, axes, and daggers. But his real strength lies in magic. The boy is a Master when it comes to manipulating Water and healing, though he is extremely bad at summoning anything and the other types of magic. ---------------------------------------- Name:Kegan "Ailill" Ekaitz Age:19 Gender: male Race: Half-Elf Appearance: Kegan is 6' 4" and he weighs 152 lbs. He has dark tanned skin, and brown eyes. His hair is black, and long enough to go down to his lower back. There are a series of Tatoos across his back, chest and his left arm and shoulder and his right leg, they glow and move around his body as he uses magic, the stronger the magic the stronger the movement. The tattoos consist of a river, ram, eagle, horse, Two Angels, a Tree, and a Basilisk. Magic?: yes Elemental Affinity: Air and Forest Position?(Rebel, Soldier, Noble(wo)man, citizen, etc.?):Heir. Currently in prison. Personality: Kegan is a risk-taker who thrives in unfamiliar situations. He believe that if you can't adapt to what's going on around you then you don't deserve to move up in life and thus he is constantly trying to better himself. He dislikes lying to make other people feel better, but he also dislikes people who are rude for no reason, so Kegan is a nice but blunt young man and he's proud about it. Kegan is an unorganized, spontaneous and competitive. Recently he has become depressed, and angry. History: Kegan's mother was an Elf who worked for the emperor doing whatever tasks he requested of her, which included sleeping with him on numerous occasions. Eventually she became pregnant and she left the court and moved back to the Forest of the East, she was condemned by some of the Elves for being "The Emperors Whore" and thus when her son was born he was shunned by some of the more traditional Elves as well. But thanks to his Aunt, he was still raised in the ways of Reading, Language, Music and Magic as was expected of someone of a magical bloodline.
When Kegan was seven his mother moved back to the capital, leaving Kegan with her family. Kegan lived a happy life of studying and exploring the forest until his sixteenth birthday, when he was considered a man amongst the Elven people. So Kegan decided to move to the capital so he could find his mother, and hopefully meet his father. When Kegan arrived at the capital he found out that his mother had died a few years ago and he realized that the emperor had many children and that he didn't care about them much at all. So Kegan pretended to be a full Elf and he got a job at the court, and he performed his duties while tying to learn some information about his mother, he eventually found out that only a handful of the Emperor's most trusted advisors knew about all of his children and of course that included Kegan, which he was happy, for he didn't want to be amongst the royals and their intolerable behavior. During his tenor as a Servant in the Castle, he struck up a relationship with Rein, though it did not work out at first.
When Kegan was revealed as one of the Seven Heirs, his life quickly changed once again. Kegan disliked almost all of the other Heirs immediately, the only ones who he was even willing to talk with were Heirs Nebi and Epiphany, though Kegan didn't really care at this point as he concentrated on winning challenges. During the competition, Kegan's Aunt, Brighe, returned. Much to the boy's delight. Halfway through the competition, Kegan and Rein met once again, and they had another go at their relationship, this time succeeding in trying to make things work. During the last two challenges, Kegan proposed to Rein, and was thrilled when she accepted.
When Tsuba was crowned Empress, Kegan had no choice but to run, and he decided to leave Rein behind for her own sake. Kegan traveled the Empire for seventeen months, never staying in a town for more then three days at a time. But eventually, the Half-Elf was found, and captured. It took him a month to be transported to the castle, and after an unpleasant conversation with Tsuba and an unnecessary beating, he was transferred to jail where he has remained alone ever since.
Other: Kegan is not a very good magician, knowing only two good moves in magic. He is fast and flexible though, and he knows how to fight with short swords. '----------------------------- Name: Katherine(Goes by Katie) Age: Seventeen Gender: Female Race: Human Appearance: Katie is 5' 7" and weighs 124 lbs. Magic: Yes, limited knowledge in Wizardry and Alchemy. Elemental Affinity?: Light Personality: Katie is a young and curious girl, previously an energetic and vibrant little girl, Katie has become a much more quiet, depressed, and demure girl. Though she is still an extremely empathetic person. History: Katie is the product of an affair between an Emperor's Wife and a Servant. After being born she was quickly handed off by her Mother to her Cousins, who raised her as a Servant. Over the years she became close to Susanna, eventually moving with her Cousin to the Capital so they could stay together. When the Competition started, Katie became worried for her Cousin as she saw less and less of her. Katie eventually grew to knew the likes of Caesar, and she actually became friends with C.C. . As Susanna started to break down because of Caesar's unpleasant influence in her life, Katie was always there to help and comfort her cousin, until Caesar eventually tried to kill her. Katie was forced to go into hiding with Captain Rhys, whom she lived with for two and a half months. For the last challenge of the competition, Katie was kidnapped and used as bait for the other Heirs, along with the likes of Rhys and Syrien. Katie found out that Caesar had done something to her Cousin, and that Susanna was positive that Katie was dead. After Rhys promised Katie that he would do what was best for Susanna, she was devastated when she saw Susanna be murdered by Rhys, never forgiving the Captain.
Though Katie did not have much time to process everything, as Tsuba became Empress only an hour after her Cousin had died, and Heir Nebi quickly left her and C.C. behind. Katie comforted C.C. for the next few months, even though she knew C.C. thought it should be the other way around. In a way, Katie agreed, but she didn't really care. Over the next two years Katie returned back to the Capital, becoming a Servant at the Castle. She began to train with C.C., learning the basics of healing as best as she could. Katie also began to learn how to be a proper Lady like Susanna was, even if she despises the idea. Other: --------------------------------- Name: Rhys Alwyn Age: 38 Gender: Male Race: Human (Secretly 1/8th Satyr) Appearance: Rhys 5' 11" 198 lbs. His ears are slightly pointed and there are bumps on his head that he hides with his hair. Magic?: A little, though he isn't very skilled. Elemental Affinity: Sound Royal Bloodline?: No Personality: Seemingly cold to strangers, and vicious to those who are enemies of Gaboria and it's people, Rhys is a very honorable soldier and he would protect the kingdom even if it meant his life. Rhys is also a very spiritual man, though he hides this part of himself from everyone as he knows it isn't considered a positive trait. He is good at controlling his emotions and holding his tongue when people offend him. Rhys believes that destiny and people's bloodline will decide where everyone ends up in life, and he considers those who try to fight their destiny and position in life are fools. He wont stop or grudge himself against the ambitious fools of the world though, and he wont tell them what his opinion is unless they ask.
History: Rhys was born in the north-eastern section of the Empire on his families property. As Rhys happened to be the only Child that his parents had, he was the only Heir to the Alwyn estate and all the benefits it included. Rhys trained himself to be a Knight ever since he was thirteen, he was exceptionally skilled at Swordsmanship and horseback riding, and he enjoyed learning new tricks and developing new skills. Rhys always had a sort of inhuman quality about him as well. He was very spiritual and connected to nature, having a sixth sense where he could sense what was going on in the world around him. Any cataclysms, magical disasters, mass-murdering rampages happening, and Rhys would most likely know that something was wrong was going on, though he wouldn't know any specifics. He was advised by his relatives who were used to these feeling that he should hide this fact about him unless he wanted to be known as eccentric.
When Rhys was seventeen he joined the royal guard after his family pulled a few strings and he became a Knight of the Gaborian King. He avoided looking for a wife and instead devoted his life to serving the Kingdom. Eventually Rhys was rewarded when he turned thirty-one, and he became Captain of the Royal Guard. His Mother and Father shortly died during the few months between Rhys promotion and his thirty-second birthday, though he moved on without too many emotional scars. When the Emperor Anpu died from poisoning, Rhys felt directly responsible for the Emperor's death and he personally killed the food tester himself during an execution ceremony.
During the Competition Rhys supported no one, and simply tried to do his job even with all the chaos around the Castle. When Heir Caesar tried to kill Katie and frame Rhys for the dirty deed, Rhys did everything in his power to save the Girl, working with C.C. to get them both out of the Capital and to his Private Estate in the North. Rhys tried to help Katie be as comfortable as possible during her stay, growing a Father-like defensiveness of the girl. During the last challenge Rhys, along with Katie and Syrien, became bait to the Heirs. Over the course of the challenge Rhys came to realize that Caesar had utterly destroyed Susanna's mind, and that the girl could very well end up killing Katie if he let her live. He tried to tell C.C. this, but the Mage wouldn't listen, and so Rhys ended up killing Susanna himself. C.C. and Katie never forgave Rhys, and the Captain accepts this.
After Tsuba became Empress, Rhys returned back to his job as Captain of the Guard at the Castle. He was offered a position as a General in the Army, but surprisingly, Rhys turned it down. Other: Rhys has a small panflute that he enjoys playing to calm himself down, and he is able to express his emotions through the instrument thus making it give off a rather depressing ethereal sound. He is Gay. ------------------------------- Name: Brighe Ekaitz Age: 32 Gender: Female Race: Elf Appearance: Brighe. 5' 9" 122 lbs. Usually wears green hunting pants and a beige shirt along with a bag. Has a series of tatoos across her back, stomach, right and left arms, and they go all the way down to her left thigh as well. These tatoos glow and move around her body as she uses magic, the stronger the magic the stronger the movement. Magic?: Yes Elemental Affinity: Earth Royal Bloodline?: No Personality: Brighe is a very kind and comfort-loving girl. She despises being put in situations where she has no idea how to respond, and she never intentionally hurts someone except in defense. She is rather messy and uncreative, though she knows how to make others feel comfortable. Even though she knows how to play the verbal sparring games of her people, Brighe prefers being honest and blunt with everything she says. Brighe is secretly depressed and can be rather defensive as she feels like she's not worthy of other people's time and that's why everyone leaves her.
History: Brighe was born in the great Forest of the East amongst a rather large family. When she was Eight her favorite older Sister left the Forest to move to the Gaborian Empires where she got a job serving the King. Over the next few years Brighe tried to ignore the rumors of her older sister being the Emperors Courtesan, though she stopped denying the rumors when her Sister came returned, pregnant with the Emperor's child.
When her Sister's son, Kegan, was born she helped her Sister raise the boy even though she lost a few friends for associating and supporting the half-blooded Elf. When her Sister left the Forest to move back to Gaboria, Brighe was emotionally hurt with her Sister's actions and took it as an insult. But as she was one of the few people who her Sister trusted, Brighe was given the job of watching and protecting Kegan until he was of age, which she did. But even though she had practically raised Kegan herself, he still left and moved to the Gaborian capital when he was of age.
This act of threw Brighe into a state of depression, as the more traditional Elves still shunned her for going against him, and now both her Nephew and Sister had left her to go live amongst humans. For the next year Brighe lived a simple and lonely life, always wondering what had happened to her Sister and Nephew. About four months after Kegan had left Brighe received a letter that informed her about her Sister's death. When she took this letter to her Father, he pretended not to care about his own Daughter's death. Her Father's Apathy enraged Brighe and thus she chided her Father for his heartlessness. Annoyed and shamed by his Daughter's actions, Brighe was disowned by her family as well, thus being forced to live alone.
When it was announced that Kegan had a chance of becoming the new Emperor, the Elders of Brighe's village held a rather long meeting until they eventually decided that it was their duty to support the Heir that had been raised by Elves. Instead of a traitor, Brighe was now treated like an Elder herself as everyone knew that the only one Kegan would feel comfortable enough to talk to would be Brighe, and so it was decided that she would be sent to the Gaborian Capital so she could help her Nephew become Emperor. Brighe was with her Nephew during the second half of the Competition, and she saw his romance with Rein quickly grow. While she was initially wary of the girl, she realized that there was actually love between her Nephew and Rein, and so she quickly accepted it and moved on. Brighe herself, trying to make Kegan happy, became friends with Syrien.
When Tsuba was crowned Empress, Brighe stayed with Rein and Syrien as she let her Nephew run into hiding. She went back to the Capital with them, making sure to comfort Rein and speak with Syrien as often as she could. When Kegan was caught and arrested by the Empire, Brighe immediately began to plan how she would break her Nephew out of Prison, telling only Rein of her plans. Other: ----------------------------------------
Name: Clara Estelle Age: 22 Gender: Female Race: Human Appearance: Clara 5' 6" 129 lbs. Magic?: Yes, though she never learned how to use or control it. Royal Bloodline?: Yes, though she was too old to compete durng the Competition. Personality: Clara has the persona of being sweet, helpful, sad, skilled and she pretends to be a good listener as well. Though in reality the girl is very bitter, selfish, and unforgiving. She is also ambitious, yet lazy as well, and if an opportunity doesn't look or sound like an easy task then she wont attempt to try and accomplish it. Though when she does start a task that is important to herself, she'll do everything she can to accomplish it. She enjoys toying with people. History: Clara was born in the Eastern part of the Empire where she lived a sheltered life until she was sixteen. At the age of sixteen, Clara married Edward Estelle, and her position in life significantly rose. Unfortunately, two years later Clara found out her husband was cheating on her with one of the maids. So Clara did what she though made the most sense. She killed her husband and framed the maid, thus getting the maid executed. After the Emperor died and the Competition of Succession had begun, Clara quickly made arrangements for all of her things to be moved to the Capital so she could witness the Competition.
During the Competition, Clara quickly latched onto Tsuba after she decided that it was likely the other Noblewoman would win, and she made a deal with her as well. After Tsuba was crowned, shortly after Clara became Grand Duchess of Gaboria. Relishing her high position, Clara abuses her power often, and has recently taken to watching the Gladiators fight in the Arena. Other: Deceased. -------------------------------- Name: Senka Age: 23 Gender: Female Race: Human Appearance: Senka 5' 8" 136 lbs. Magic?: No Royal Bloodline?: No Personality: Senka is very professional, and has no qualms with killing people because of her job. She has no personal ambition, and knows that she is a tool to be used by the Empire. Though she is a lonely person, occasionally wishing for some kind of companionship. History: Senka was born into the Order of the Shadows, where she was trained to became an Assassin for the Empire. She never knew her Parents, and simply lived among the other children being trained. Senka was an exceptional killer, and she quickly caught the eyes of her Teachers, even without magic.
Senka was not in the Capital during the Competition, and she cared little about who would be the next Ruler of Gaboria. It wasn't her place, after all. Six months after Tsuba was crowned Empress, Senka was brought to the Capital. After a month of long and cruel testing, she was informed that she would become a Personal Servant to the Empress. Other: While she cannot use magic, Senka is still skilled with Weaponry, specifically throwing knives and poison darts. She greatly admires Tsuba, and is somewhat attracted to the Empress as well.

| (Romantic wanted me to post Epiphany's profile for her.) Name: Epiphany Age: 16 Gender:female Race:Human Appearance: Magic?:Yes Royal Bloodline?:Yes Personality:She is tough and brave and quite independent. She is loyal to the Amazons and really quite hard to convince and trust and very sensitive. Despite these traits, she is a good hunter and leader and is really dedicated and determined, and smart. History:The Amazons found her abandoned in the woods and took her in and renamed her as Epiphany. She wasn't an Amazon at first until she was given the right to become and Amazon by the Amazon queen. She was trained in combat with a variataion of many weapons. She mainly uses a staff for fighting and a bow and arrow for hunting or long range shots. She grew up to be a good leader and loyal to the tribe. She never knew that much about her life and when she heard about people searching for people under 18 to do challenges at the Emperor's palace, she entered, hoping that there might be some answer to her questions when she competes and the challenges end. Other:Her real name (Megan) is unknown to her. She was also taught the magic of an Amazon shamaness. (Everyone should know that Epiphany's character probably wont be very active for the next few months, as Romantic is moving. But when she is finished Epiphany will come back to the foreground of this RP.) | |

| Name: Annakpok (Annak for short, and Anna to piss him off.) Age: 15 Gender: Male Race: Human, Skraeling (human savage) Appearance: He is short with dark skin, and very long, messy hair. He looks a bit skinny, but has a bit of muscle on him. He has tattoos over the course of his body, each representing a spirit lord which he has met. Magic?: Yes. He has a very strong connection to the spirits, and can preform ice magic. When summoning a spirit, his element changes depending on the spirit, and he can no longer preform another kind of magic. (He also can't change elements quickly, since a spirit has an allotted time summoned that he cannot end early, or extend. In essence, once it's out, it's out until time is up, and there is little chance he'll have the strength to summon again for a while.) Royal Bloodline?: Yes. Personality: He is somewhat childish, and very adventurous. He hates staying in one place for too long, and has his impatient moments. Though he can be young and childish, rare pieces of wisdom gleam through on occasion, and he tries his best to be a man (because he is of the age when boys become men in his original tribe.) History: Settle in, because this could take a while. Sixteen years ago, a Nomad Skraeling woman came to the Capitol of Gaboria in search of the source of all magic, and life, she called it "The Heart of Life." She found herself in the Palace searching the archives, and such, when she was found by the Emperor. The Emperor, captivated by her beauty decided that he must have her. For a short while they were in love, and she was happy. But it did not take her long to find out what a cruel man the Emperor really was, and that he would not let her leave Gaboria of her own will. So she began looking for an escape. Her escape came in the form of a child. She found out she was pregnant with the Emperor's child. She told him that she wanted to take their child and continue her search for the "Heart of Life". Taking him around the world, and teaching him much about magic. Though it would require him to lose one of his wives, the idea of having a child traveling the world, learning about the weaknesses of other civilizations and becoming strong, both physically and spiritually. Such a strong person would make a fine successor, and more importantly, a personal asset. So the Emperor agreed on the terms that his child would return when summoned, and become his successor were he to die. Ikkuma agreed to the Emperor's terms, and left Gaboria, to return to her homeland to give birth to her child. Holding a letter, and a necklace, bearing the fine royal symbol.
Annak was five when he had his first experience with a spirit lord, the most powerful spirits that govern the other spirits of their element. Tuktu the Ice lord. Annak lived in a Tribe to the far north that worshiped Tuktu, and one day, while playing hide and seek with his friends just outside the village, he became lost in a blizzard. He began to wander, unable to find his way back home. He became tired, hungry, and very cold, very quickly in the howling northern winds, and the driving snow. He had lost hope when brilliant light erupted across the sky. From the beautiful rainbow colored lights, descended Tuktu, in the form of a giant caribou. Tuktu told Annak that he had a gift, and that he would one day find what he seeked. He then called down a spirit from the light in the sky, and Amarok descended, as a giant white wolf. Amarok was charged with defending Annak. The light in the sky faded, and Annak passed out.
When Annak awoke, he was in his tent, lying by the fire, while Amarok talked with Ikkuma, Annak's mother. Once they noticed him, Amarok left the tent, and Annak described what had happened to his mother. Who had a sad look on her face. The next morning, she told him that they were leaving the Tribe where he had grown up to search for something. So Ikkuma, Amarok, and Annak left the tribe, searching for answers that Ikkuma thought she had given up on five years earlier.
The next ten years of Annak's life was spent searching for Spirit Lords. Ikkuma had already searched everyplace that Annak, and Amarok accompanied her to, but somehow Annak had an ability to pull out Spirits, and the Spirit Lords, and each place they went to the Spirit Lords granted Annak some of their power, by giving him the ability to summon spirits using Amarok's body. (basically, Amarok is his spirit of ice, but he is constantly summoned, unless Annak summons another spirit, in which case his body channels the spirit.) Ikkuma felt like they were finally getting close to the "Heart of Life", and believed that if they found all of the Spirit Lords, they would find what they were looking for. Whenever she said that Tuktu's words rang in Annak's ears. So he and Amarok followed Ikkuma across the world. Finding almost every Spirit Lord. The spirit of the sea, the sky, the earth, the spirit of darkness, and the spirit of life. They were only missing the spirit of light when Ikkuma fell ill. It was then that her journey ended. She gave him the letter that his father had given her, and the ammulet with the royal emblem on it, which some of his former Tribe members had gotten a hold of, and had carved their own symbol on the back, and written "Annakpok Ingminek". She told him to go to Gaboria, and present them to a Nobel, or the Emperor. Ikkuma died, and Annak, and Ammarok set their sights on Gaboria.
Annak has recently arrived in the Capitol, and is making his way to the palace, along with Amarok. Other: Rides a spirit of the north, Amarok who takes on the form of a large white dire wolf.
(I'll make up Amarok's profile soon.)

The only person she could talk to was her mother. But eventually she was sent to be a soldier for the Emperor. Because she register as a male, she kept up the facade, afriad if she was revealed Sunny would be sent home or killed. She became Rhys' lieutenant a year ago and is beginning to trust him the most. Nell had a pretty fair childhood in the castle. He would play with the other children around the castle and would sometimes get made fun of by the noble children. He also almost got kicked out of the castle after being framed but a young girl vouched for him. He tried to stay out of the Heir competition, but he fell for Katie. Name: Alice/Silence Age: 21 Gender: Female Race: Siren Appearance: https://s225.photobucket.com/albums/dd40/PainfulxLies/Neon%20Knight/?action=view¤t=Asheffxii.jpg Magic?: Yes Royal Bloodline?: No Personality: Silence is a reserved girl. Before she lost her voice, she would obverse others, Sirens being non-social types. But she was also outspoken and passionate about what she did. After she lost her voice, she became darker wanting to punish others who she thought were wrong. She is a serious person, being snarky at times too. She will help people, but for a price or not completely. History: Silence, born Alice, grew up mostly alone since Sirens only come together to cause more problems for land-dwellers, but she didn't mind at all. But as she started to interact with those on land and water, she was surprised at how some humans treated them. They would kidnap Sirens and torture or kill them. Silence was outraged despite the fact that Sirens had been drowning people for centuries. Eiden came to her and offered her a wish. Silence wished for powers to righte the wrongs against her kind. Eiden killed a vengence demon and gave her it's powers. But because she could not handle the powers as just a Siren, she lost her once beautiful voice. Silence was enraged, but she could not do anything about it. She renamed herself Silence, deciding to shed her old life. Together with Eiden they joined the rebels, believing in their cause. Name: Amarok Age: Born around the dawn of timeish. Gender: Male Race: Spirit Appearance: A giant white wolf, but can disguise himself as a a white dog. Magic?: Yes. He has the power of ice on his side. Royal Bloodline?: Nope. Personality: Amarock has always been serious most of the time. But after a while with a charismatic little kid, and a kind mother, you tend to lighten up. He is kind and understanding towards others, and understands authority, and the chain of command. He is intelligent and wise, like most spirits are. History: Amarok was for a long time, an Unmarked (elementless) spirit. He did not take sides when the world split into it's elements, and instead wandered the globe observing the evolution of a world. He didn't trouble himself with the Spirit Lords, because he much preferred watching humans. There was one in general he occupied himself with. A human that said he could see Amarok, even though he was invisible to all others. The man would talk to Amarok about his ambitions of protecting other humans, and leading them to happiness, and prosperity. Amarok hung around the man until he had lead people to build a city, and made himself king, and he had always been kind to his subjects. Or so it seemed. Once the city was built Amarok began hanging around the city, and found the poorer areas. He watched brutal beatings brought on by town guards, and heard it was of the king's orders. When he went to the king, he was watching the sentencing of a man who had been accused of stealing, and watched the king murder the poor man.
After that he left that kingdom, and began wandering again, watching countless injustices across the globe. Within the thousand years in which the story of Gaboria and it's heirs takes place, Amarok finds the North, with it's tribes. Expecting what he had seen in the larger Kingdoms of the world, he was surprised to see how the tribes lived. A large respect for the dead, kindness towards others, brotherhood of man. He decided that this is what he wanted for the world, and that he would protect it. Amarok seeked out Tuktu, and decided to join him, and become a spirit of ice. The transition from Unmarked, to an elemental spirit, leaves you with little memories of your life before becoming an elemental spirit, and the further the memory, the harder to remember, so Amarok can no longer remember the details of much of his life as an Unmarked, only the events. Other: Amarok is using a body at the moment, so while he is still a spirit, he has the draw backs of a body, such as death.

| Name: Kian Stienberg Age: 28 Gender: Male Race: Human Appearance: http://endzi-z.deviantart.com/art/Nobunaga-Oda-147934263 Magic?: Yes Royal Bloodline?: No Personality: Kian is a cruel and manipulative person, much like most of the nobles around him. He is arrogant of his abilities, and will let nothing get in the way of his ultimate goal. History: Kian was born to the grand noble House of Stienberg, one of the original founding families of Gaboria. Because of this, Kian has a higher status than most other noblemen and women, which he often uses for his advantage. Since Tsuba was crowned Empress, the two have formed a bit of a love/hate relationship. Kian eventually plans to overthrow Tsuba, and Tsuba knows this, but she has yet to find any evidence for his coup. He is also free from getting harmed, so far, because of his status of being a member of the Founding Families. She also keeps him around because he is one of the most powerful magi in the Empire. Right now Kian serves the Empress as one of her advisors. Other:
Name: Xen Lu Age: 32 Gender: Male Race: Elf Appearance: http://panelgutter.deviantart.com/art/Assassin-s-Creed-59789689 Magic?: No Royal Bloodline?: No Personality: Xen Lu is quiet and distant with most people, seeking to form no attachments. All Xen Lu really wants to do is complete his goal in life with little interference from the more ‘frivolous’ things in life. History: Xen Lu has no past, and no future. He solely exists to seek the downfall of the Gaborian Empire, once and for all. One day Xen Lu just appeared to the rebellion, offering his services as an assassin to its unofficial leader. They were reluctant at first, but his good success rate at assassination persuaded them to hire him. Xen Lu, unlike most assassins, takes no money from his assignments, though. He will gladly kill Gaborian nobles and government officials with great pleasure. Despite several unofficial investigations, the rebels barely know anything about the mysterious trained killer. Xen Lu often disappears for months at a time, but always reappears when needed. Other:

| (These are a few characters that I'll be using over the course of Rebellion. Some of them wont pop up until later though.)
Name: Grace Age: 36 Gender: Female Race: Amazonian Appearance: Grace is 5' 7" and weighs 142 lbs. Magic?: Yes, but only with Sorcery as she did not inherit any in her blood. Personality: Grace is skilled at making it so nothing is ever about her. She dislikes it when attention is drawn to herself, and she usually withdraws from conversation when things get too deep. She is a good listener though, and do to how observant she is, a good comforter as well. She is a very empathetic and helpful person, though she never likes to stay in one place for long. History: Grace was born in the Amazonian Forest to the West. After she had turned five, it was decided that she, along with two other Girls, were to train to become the Shamaness of her village after the current one had died. She trained for almost her entire life, until she turned Thirty-Two and the Shamaness of her village died. Grace, along with the two other young girls who had been chosen so long ago, were sent out into the Forest alone so that they could find themselves, and hopefully, the Spirit of the Earth and Forest as well.
Grace was out in the Forest for over four months, far longer then the other two girls. And yet she never got her answer. When Grace returned she was informed that one of the other Girls had become the Shamaness of her village. Grace did not take well to being informed that all the training she had gone through in her life, all of her pain, had been for nothing. And so she left the Forest and went out to explore the Empire, hoping that maybe the Earth's Spirit would finally speak to her then. But it never did, though she still continues to travel to this day. Other: ----------------------------- Name: Faris Age: 57 Gender: Male Race: Dark Elf Appearance: Faris is 6' 2" and weighs 165 lbs. He has a series of tattoos all over his body. They consist of a system of clouds, a Snake, a Lion, a Demon, a small school of Fish, and the Moon. Magic?: No Personality: Faris is an extremely organized man, and he has no trouble with leading other people. He does not care about what other people think of him, and he is not a very compassionate person. He works hard, and expects others to do so as well. He is intelligent, and at times violent, but he usually keeps himself composed. History: Faris was born into a small tribe of other Dark Elves. He lived on the Mountain of Hogof, two hundred miles south of the large city of Felin. Unlike the rest of his clan, Faris never became a powerful warrior or magician. But he was smart, and an excellent strategist as well. When he was a young man, Faris left his clan and traveled to Felin, eventually settling down there. Over the next ten years, Faris studied the Empire and it's laws, not liking what he saw.
Over time, Faris formed a core resistance group in the city, eventually spreading out to the entire province itself. Faris was, and is, a calculating and cold leader, always doing what he believes will hurt the Empire the most. His intentions are well, but in the end, his actions are as wrong as the Empire's itself. Other: -----------------------------
Name: Cyril Jarek Age: 26 Gender: Male Race: Human Appearance: Cyril is 5' 8" and weighs 152 lbs. Magic?: No Personality: Cyril is lighthearted, flirtatious, and out-going. He loves being surrounded by people, and he also likes it when they pay attention to him as well. He can be offensive and rude, but he doesn't notice these facts about himself. History: Cyril is from the Far southern reaches of the Empire, living on the great ocean itself. His Father was a Duke, and the representative of the Vislumbrar Province. Cyril lived an extremely pleasant life, his Father always doing everything possible to take care of his family. Cyril never took his studies seriously though, preferring to hang out on the Beach with friends. When Cyril was Seventeen, he went with some friends to a Rebel meeting, though it was not an actual true resistance. More like a group of Teens and young Adults who saw fighting against the Empire as being the cool thing to do. But the idea of fighting against the man and being revolutionaries stuck with Cyril, and he tried to become useful to the Resistance, using his Father's position in the Government to try and help get information spread to the Rebels. Other: ------------------------------ Name: Savina Elda Age: 21 Gender: Female Race: Human Appearance: Savina is 5' 6" and weighs 132 lbs. She has light brown hair, blue eyes, pale skin, and an intricate tattoo on her back. Magic?: Yes, but she lacks control over it. Personality: Savina is a creative, quiet, intelligent, and obedient person. She is very observant and self-critical. She is not a very good conversationalist and can come across as awkward sometimes. History: Savina was born in the Mountainous Northern Province of Kelata. Savina's Father was one of the Five Grand General's of the Empire, and she lived a life of privilege because of it. Being the only Child of her Family, Savina knew that her parents were disappointed in her being a girl. But Savina adapted to her Parent's wishes, and she trained to become a Soldier like she would have if she had been a son. When she was fifteen, Savina traveled to the Capital with her Father on a trip. During the trip, Savina left the Capital and went missing for eight days. Savina doesn't remember what happened, but when she was eventually found, Savina was alone and naked, with a Tattoo that hadn't been there before going up her back. It was the sign of Nex, the God of Death. It was never found out where Savina had been, or what had happened to her, but ever since then Savina has been haunted by knowledge and visions of death. Whether it's deaths that have already happened, or deaths that will happen.
When Savina turned Twenty, she used her Father's status to help her gain a position in the army. Other: Ever since she has been branded, Savina dreams of her own death every night.

| Name: Christmas or just Chris Age: 25 Gender: Female Race: Humage Appearance: https://s225.photobucket.com/albums/dd40/PainfulxLies/Neon%20Knight/?action=view¤t=1141451525__illust_11.jpg Magic?: Yes but only visions Royal Bloodline?: Yes but it's so thin that no one ever acknowledged it and she was too old to compete anyways Personality: Chris is a warm and caring soul. She is always willing to help others and has a very motherly attitude. She is intelligent, growing up around Scholars and spiritual, being a Priestess, both which help her keep a levelhead. She cares nothing for power or money and will walk away from a fight more times than not. Still she can be strict with Mab and doesn't tolerate disrespectful people. History: Chris was born blind to a Scholar. Her mother never knew who the father actually was (not to say she sleeps around) and she never cared to find out. She decided to raise Chris on her own while still working. Because she was blind, her mother and some of the other Scholars who watched over her were always worried about her. But Chris was never upset about her disability, believing she was born with it for a reason. At the age of five Chris had her first vision when playing a game of tag. It was an image of a file being missing and some minutes later someone reported that a file was missing. Out of fear and common sense, Chris told no one of her visions, even her mother. At the age of twelve she saw her mother's death and tried to prevent it. In doing so she revealed herself to a number of people. But her mother died anyways and Chris, not wanting to be used, tried to run away. She was instead taken in as an apprentice to a Priestess. She grew up in a temple, enjoying her new life. Other: She had a magical servant dog named Ojoo
Name: Mab Aster Age: 18 Gender: Female Race: Humage Appearance: https://s225.photobucket.com/albums/dd40/PainfulxLies/Neon%20Knight/?action=view¤t=1233370110_2349_full.jpg Magic?: Yes Royal Bloodline?: No Personality: Mab is a realist, looking on the logical side of things. She isn't too smart, but she knows enough to get through life without looking like an idiot. Unlike Chris, her mentor, she tends to get involved in fights if only to add her own two cents. Despite this fact she is a pasifist, seeing violence as pointless. She tries to act lady-like like Chris, but she tends to be a bit rebellious as well. History: Mab grew up as the middle child in a middle class family. She had a pretty average childhood either helping out at her family's store or playing with her friends. As a child she had an interest in politics and planned to go into them somehow, which her family didn't really support. But Mab eventually found her calling on the opposite side, leaving home to study under Chris. Both she and Chris paid little attention to the Heir competition, feeling no matter who ruled, their work would be the same. Mab has proved to be an adequate foreteller, but cannot actually see the future like Chris. Other: N/A
Because I want two disabled people

| So… She kind of took over when I was trying to work on a rebel. I might still make a rebel, but I’m not sure at the moment. And hopefully she makes sense. I wrote most of this on very low sleep (an hour and a half, maybe?). Name: Ana, "Wraith" Age: Late twenties Gender: Female Race: Human Appearance: Ana’a skin is pale, though she spends much of her time outdoors (which does result in her always being smudged with dirt). Her hair is grey with a few streaks of white, while her eyes are orange in color. She stands at 4’5”, a fact she does not like to be reminded of. Her clothing is of the same style as in the picture, but without the large collar, and is brown and dark green in color. She wears brown boots, but of a soft material, so as to walk lighter. When active on the job, she wears a hooded cloak that is a mixture of greens and browns, making it easy to blend into the shadows. Attached to her belt on the right is a waterskin and a pouch for a day’s ration of food. Weapons: Her stiletto is hidden inside her staff. The handle of the dagger is actually the top of her staff, and it takes her only a moment to unscrew the blade from the staff. Her staff also has a metal weight inside the bottom, to keep the weapon balanced. She has a trousse scabbard on the left side of her belt, which holds five hunting/meat-trimming knives, but which only three of them are these types of knives. The other two hidden in with these hunting knives are slightly curved throwing knives (similar to https://i.imgur.com/lbCxxm8l.jpg ). Tucked in the back of her belt is a Quillon dagger, which she uses only when she finds herself fighting against an opponent with a sword. She has an Indian kard strapped to each of her legs, underneath her clothing. Her last weapon is a recurve bow and arrow, which she made and is an excellent shot with. However, her bow and arrows are not something she keeps on her at all times, as she does with all her other weapons. Magic?: No Royal Bloodline?: No Personality: Ana is a quiet woman, which suits her well for her profession. She drifts from place-to-place like a shadow, with rarely anyone the wiser that she had been there. She is serious much of the time, but yet knows how to have fun. She kills without mercy and isn’t afraid to hurt others to get what she wants. Never does she talk about herself. She does have a little bit of a temper, which can be seen if a comment is made about her height—and she will refuse to work for someone if they do make such a comment. She has a sincere face, but those that know anything about her know that she can’t be trusted. If you give her reason to, she might just put a knife in your back. Taverns are usually the only place that one can find her. History: Ana was born in a distant land, across the seas. Her parents were poor farmers, already supporting five other children. Every day they struggled to survive, struggled to put food on the table. As Ana grew older, she began to resent her parents for how little they were able to give her, and for how hard her and her family had to work compared to the owners of the estate that they were “permitted” to live on, for a high cost of what they produced. When Ana was nine, she and the owner’s daughter got in a fight. This wasn’t the first time Ana had caused trouble, but more of the final straw. After breaking some of the other girl’s bones, Ana was considered a menace to society and was taken by the military for them to raise—as what happened to most kids who caused trouble. After a year of training, Ana was moved to a special unit of the military, known as the Huntsmen. These were the people who were sent in and got a job done without anyone the wiser. Magic was feared in that land, and so it was with fear that the citizens whispered stories about how the Huntsmen could disappear and appear from the air itself. Ana didn’t mind her new home—in fact, she found she rather enjoyed being trained in the ways of a Huntsman. One thing she did not like, however, was how trapped she felt. She refused to be under somebody else’s control for the rest of her life. When she was sixteen, the king of the land was overthrown. With this change in power, any Huntesman not considered loyal to the new ruler was put to death. In all the confusion, the small figure of Ana slipped away. She didn’t stop until she had slipped out of that kingdom and into the next, which bordered the ocean. Years passed, with her staying alive and refining her skills by taking on odd jobs as a tracker/assassin. Finally growing tired of the place and wanting to see new lands, she left on a merchant ship sailing across the ocean, to the north. After spending a year wandering about in the new land, she arrived to the Gaborian Empire. She has only been there a few months, but has been doing well, finding no shortage of jobs to take with all of the upheaval going on. Other: Has no side, but takes whatever job is paying highest at the moment; specialty is tracking down people who don’t want to be found I bought a book of weapons a little while back and figured that I’d put it to good use, instead of just saying that she had a bunch of daggers...

| All accepted, except for one thing, Alec. The Elven forests are in the eastern Empire so the Amazonians either have to be sharing a forest with the elves or be some place else.
This looks like it will be a big roleplay. I shall start this soon. I just hope everyone can handle their characters.

| (you still accepting?) Name: Gaita Age: 18 Gender: female Race: Elf Appearance : Magic?: no Royal Bloodline?: no connection Personality: Gaita is often cold as distant to those not under her employment or seeking to employee her. Head strong , stubborn and eager to fight, but kind in her own way. Very quiet and often lets Nix do the talking. History: Gaita was the second child of a noble family in the former Elvin city of Germa. Her family in particular was famous for producing strong Sorcerers, and when it was discovered she had no magical ability her father (The High Sorcerer of Germa) had her surname removed. Her father took her to the royal guard to be trained as a warrior, which she greatly excelled in. She quickly gained a reputation as one of the best fighter in the city (not a large task considering how small of a fighting force the city had) Her family (epically her father) became quite proud of her skill and often boasted of her and they're three other children. As a gift to Gaita for overcoming her "disability" her father gave her Nix Van Goldmire os Lodenima as a slave for her 14 birthday. When the empire attacked and destroyed her home Gaita(age 15),believing that she was the only one to escape the empires flames, she joined a band of bandits and for the next three years plundered, pillaged, ransacked anything belonging to the empire. On one raid she was reunited with Nix. The two formed an uneasy partnership, covering for the others lack of knowledge or strength. She has since left the bandit crew heading west (much to Nix's distress) in hope finding honest work. Currently is working as a mercenary Other: wields a long bow and a saber. Name: Nix Van Goldmire os Lodenima (Nix for those who aren't quite as long winded) Age: 18 Gender: male Race: Human Appearance: Magic?: Yes. Royal Bloodline?: No Personality: More open with his feelings than his partner, he is often the one pedaling their services. Level headed and intelligent when it comes to magic. Somewhat more brutle than Gaita when it comes to business. History: Nix was left on the door step of an Empirical magic training facility known as Goldmire os Lodenima (thus the name). As such he started his magical training early and became a master of a variety of magical arts, most notably in the minor healing and sealing arts. He became a high ranking apprentice at age 12 and was quickly on his way to becoming a graduate, he was also very bored. The facility rarely received visitors outside the normal band of merchants. Nix left Goldmire when he was 13 and spent half a year wandering the empire learning of obscure and inventive magic techniques. He was captured by Elvin slavers while researching an actienct for of summoning in the ruins of an old Elf fortress just South of the Forest. He was quickly bought up by Gaita's family (eager to add a new magic servant to their ever growing list) The year he spent serving Gaita was relatively enjoyable. He spent whatever free time he had learning of various types of magic from his masters family, mostly more advanced healing (which was neglected in Goldmire). When the empire destroyed Germa Nix was freed and continued on his travel until he was reunited with Gaita. He has since been traveling with her as part of their partnership, hoping to add to his library of magical knowledge and gain a tidy profit. Other: He doesn't specialize in one magic type as most Sorcerers do and a result his magic is not as deep, but his variety makes up for it.
