Succession: Rebellion

Brighe

"They're just starting where they left off after the last time they saw each other. Who knows Atiya? Maybe they're considering getting you a little Brother or Sister." Brighe stated, still slightly annoyed with her Nephew despite that he was slightly justified.

Kegan

Kegan kissed Rein back, eying a small slump of grass a few yards away, Kegan put Rein down there, an smile on his face as he looked down at her.

Savina

"Well....since we aren't Servants or cleaners, I suppose our job is done. I mean, the lower tunnels are not our responsibility, from what Captain Rhys told me." Savina informed the Knight.

Liona

Liona nodded. It was true; and she'd heard the Captain herself, but that was beyond the point.

"Alright, then. Well, it was very good working with you," she said, offering a handshake.

((I think we should leave things there for Kegan and Rein, right now.))

Syrien

Syrien frowned at Brighe's choice of words, but they were true. At least she hadn't said anything graphical to Atiya. He started to speak, but a loud cry from the jungle cut him off. It certainly didn't sound like a shout for help, though.

"What was that?" Atiya asked, oblivious to their discomfort.

(Agreed)
Savina

"Likewise." Savina replied as she extended her hand and performed the handshake. "I'm Sergeant Elda, by the way."

Brighe

"Your Daddy was probably killing some dangerous wild animal. To protect everyone, of course." Brighe lied, though she put little effort into it. "Come on Atiya, why don't you come fishing with us over on that Sandbar. You'll be able to wade in the ocean."

Liona

"Pleasure to meet you, Sergeant. I'm Liona," Liona replied. She accepted the handshake and let go after a moment. She offered a weak smile at Savina before starting toward the one of the exits of the tunnels.

Syrien, Atiya

"Ok!" Atiya said brightly. Syrien chuckled a little at Brighe's quick save, but was very thankful for it.

Savina

Savina nodded and watched as the Knight, Liona, walked away. The Sergeant looked around the tunnels once again before shrugging and heading for an exit herself.

Liona

Liona looked out at the tunnels, as she started up and away from the prison's tunnels and the Colleseum. Soon, she was right outside. Chaos had mostly subsided, but she knew it wasn't all entirely over. Sighing, she continued to the entrance of the castle. She stood there, at one of the knight's post, before deciding to head inside. She had no business being there, but her mind had wandered off to the thought of the tribal boy and his giant white dog. She heard someone speaking, and the sound of large feet searching through the palace for an exit. She hurried toward the sound.

Ana stayed up on the roof for quite some time, watching the little bit of excitement that strayed outside the Colleseum.

Her orange eyes watched a knight leave the place and walk in the direction of the castle. As the woman disappeared, Ana realized that she was letting her mind wander. She scolded herself and turned her attention back to the little bit of fighting that was left.

Deciding that she was tired of the sight, she dropped down into the back alley and left the place, sticking to the deep shadows as she traveled.

For now, she would find a tavern to down a few drinks. Tomorrow, she'd see if she could find herself a job.

Her mind wandered back to the Heirs she had heard mention of.

Surely the pay would be high, if she offered her services, but so would the risk, and it wasn't the type of risk that she enjoyed.

(Oh, sorry about that hogaki. And sorry for not posting lately, guys. Didn't see hogaki post so I was waiting for him.)

Nebi grimaced as he felt searing pain flow through his body, removing the runes instantly. This guy was definitely powerful. He thought for a moment before shaking his head.

"No. I'm sorry. I just got here," he confessed, deciding that being vague about his true identity was the way to go, "What's your prisoner's name?"

Rein

Nearly an hour later, after Kegan and Rein had disappeared into the jungle, Rein came stumbling back toward Syrien, Brighe, and Atiya. A wide grin was on her face, and she seemed to be having some difficulty walking. Not to mention her shirt was on backwards, as well.

"What's wrong with Mommy?" Atiya asked, tugging on Brighe's pants leg.

Kegan/Brighe

Kegan walked after Rein, wearing the cloak that Brighe had bought for him earlier.

Brighe looked at the couple, her nose wrinkled in disgust about the fact that they didn't even dress properly when they were finished. "I guess the animal out there attacked her." Brighe answered as she stood up and walked over to Kegan and Rein. "Well, did you two have fun?"

Cyril

Cyril sat in the Tavern alone, for now at least, is what the lad thought. He had failed in his attempts to find the Rebels, and was now drinking away the boredom of the day.

Rein, Syrien

"Y-Yeah." Rein muttered, a dazed look on her face. Rein's grin grew larger and she leaned over to Kegan, kissing him on the cheek.

Syrien just shook his head at the duo, resisting the urge to bury his head in his palms again. Those two were just so...so...words could not even describe what they were.

Kegan/Brighe

"Wonderful. Well, while you two were fighting that animal in the jungle, Syrien, Atiya, and I collected all the food we could possibly want for the next two days. Oh, and we built a temporary shelter in the Jungle as well." Brighe said as she studied her Nephew's neck, noticing some scratches on it.

"Yes, well.... You two.... Syrien why don't you wait here with Atiya, I'm going to go show Rein and Kegan the shelter we built."

Kegan took a step back as he saw the look in Brighe's eyes. "You know, that's really not necessary, Aunt Brighe."

Rein

"Why not? I think it'd be nice." Rein replied, the spaced out look on her face still evident. She also appeared oblivious to the look in Brighe's eyes. Syrien allowed himself a little smirk and nodded. His gaze went to Rein's neck, and Syrien thought he saw some sort of odd marking there. He frowned.

"Of course. I would be happy to, Brighe." Syrien said.

Brighe/Kegan

"Wonderful." Brighe replied before grabbing onto Rein and Kegan's hands and walking out into the jungle towards the small structure her and Syrien had built.
There was a rather venomous smirk on her face as they arrived at the structure.

Brighe stood in place for a minutes, not saying a thing as she just stood there.

"....Brighe?" Kegan finally asked, breaking the silence. And then, Brighe suddenly released Rein's hand and spun around, slapping Kegan in the face. "You idiot! If you're going to have sex as often as we both know you will, then be smart about it! Syrien and I we're at that beach listening to you two for almost an hour! Do you know what kind of questions your Daughter was asking, Nephew? We told her that you two were attacked by an animal. She bought it, but you know what? A curious girl like her is probably wondering why you aren't more injured, especially when we told her that it was a pack of beasts." Brighe said after kicking Kegan in the chest.

Brighe picked up Kegan by his arm, finding even more scratches there. "Brighe, don't touch there, it still hurts." Kegan complained, infuriating Brighe even more. The Elf stood in place as she tried to calm down.

"Besides, is it a bad thing that Rein and I love being together?" Kegan asked.

Before the boy could react, Brighe grabbed onto her Nephew's shoulders and rammed her Knee into the boys crotch, causing him to sink to the ground and yowl in pain. "You are so right Nephew. You two are perfect for each other. It's such a shame you probably wont be having anymore children." Brighe stated before shrugging and walking back out onto the beach, her anger finally gone.

(Brighe is so scary. T.T )

((....I am so glad I'm not Kegan right now. Or have Brighe as an aunt.))

Rein

"Kegan!" Rein shouted in shock, snapping out of her dazed state. She knelt next to the half-elf, making sure to be careful not to harm him accidentally even more. Carefully, she placed one hand on his shoulder.

"Are you alright?"

(I think everyone is. She may care about their well being in the long run, but pain is something that's short lived and thus she doesn't mind inflicting it on those she cares about every now and then.)
Brighe

Brighe walked out of the Jungle, a smile on her face as she headed towards Syrien and Atiya. "They love the shelter, but they wanted to make a few changes to it."

Kegan

Kegan groaned in response as he tried to sit up.

Rein

"Take it easy, now. From what I've seen, that was a pretty bad blow she dealt there. Even Syrien lost his composure after being hit there once." Rein quickly said. She helped Kegan sit up, making sure to be very gentle.

"Do you, uh....need anything?"

Syrien

"Oh?" Syrien questioned, turning toward Brighe.

"Aunt Brighe look! A sand castle!" Atiya proudly declared showing a basic looking pile of sand to her.

Kegan

Kegan groaned as he finally got himself to sit up straight,, though he kept his legs apart. "A new Aunt." Kegan finally managed to reply.

Brighe

Brighe leaned down, an adoring smile on her face as she looked at young girl's creation. "Oh wow, that looks fine enough to live in almost."

((If there genders were reversed, one might call that 'abuse'. Heck, even with their genders the same now, it'd still be called abuse.))

Rein

"Sorry, no can do." Rein said with a little chuckle. "Do you need anything? Some water, or something? Does anything need...healing?"

Rein glanced at Kegan's midsection as she asked that.

Atiya

"Thank you!" Atiya giggled, leaning up to kiss Brighe.

(Oh there is no doubt. It is abuse.)

Brighe

Brighe allowed Atiya to kiss her on the cheek before she suddenly grabbed the girl and flew her up high, knowing it was always good for a shriek of laughter from the girl.

Kegan

"No, I think I'll be good.... Eventually." Kegan replied as he laid back down onto the ground.

Atiya

Atiya gave a yelp, giving a shriek of laughter. She flailed her limbs about.

"Higher Aunte Brighe! Higher!"

Rein

"Ok." Rein said. She stayed by Kegan's side while he recovered, in case he needed anything.

"Man, that Aunt of yours....does she usually abuse you like that?"

Kegan

"No... She must really be worried about us." Kegan commented in understanding as he stared up at Rein. "How have you two been together over the past few years? Along with Syrien and Atiya, of course." Kegan asked.

Brighe

"Maybe next time." Brighe replied before she quickly put Atiya back on the ground beside Syrien. "You better hope that you learn how to fly when you're older, Atiya."

Rein

"Great, I guess. I've come to see her as another guardian in my life. She and Syrien really...helped me out those first few months after you were gone. I don't know where I'd be without them." Rein said, looking a little nervous.

"But if that was her being worried about you, I'd hate to see what she'd do if she was mad at you." she said, trying to change the subject.

Atiya

"Ok! Can you teach me how to fly, Aunte Brighe?" Atiya asked with a cute smile.
