Savina

"Of course Sir." Savina replied as Maul walked away. After she was sure that the Kaleesh was gone, Savina turned and looked at Liona. "Sorry about that."

Brighe/Kegan

Kegan rolled his eyes, a smirk on his face as Rein lightly hit him.

"As a matter of fact, there is. We'll be traveling for who knows how long, I want you two to get anything that could make Atiya's life in the carriage a more comfortable experience." Brighe replied as she tossed a few coins to Rein.

Nell jumped a little as Senka yelled at her. He looked from the ring to her, not sure if he should answer. After all he didn't mind someone messing around with her. But he didn't want to get in trouble either.

"If they have worn it long enough it should still have their scent," he said.

"I have little experience either," Mab admitted. "But as Apollo as my God, I'm sure we will be fine. Now shall we go?"

Sunny stood away from Maul and the others. She knew few of the people in her group and it didn't make her happy at all. In fact it made her extremely nervous. If she had to tent with someone, Sunny wasn't sure she would be able to handle the nerves about her secret being relieved.

Some of the others were girls, but after lying for so long, Sunny was sure no matter what she would be punished or at least sent home and that would surely lead to a punishment, but for her mother as well.

Rein

"Alright." Rein said, catching the coins. She turned to Kegan with a thoughtful expression.

"Any ideas? We'll probably need to get some blankets for Atiya to sleep comfortably in, though I'm not sure what else we should get."

Sten frowned as he entered the room, seeing the older male elf and the child. He nodded and stood in a corner, his expression stoic.

Liona tried her best to look distracted as Maul and Savina had their conversation. It sounded like something she wasn't meant to hear, at least not yet. She nodded as Savina addressed her.

"It's alright," she replied.

As Elsu flew on through the sky, Annak did his best to take care of his new knife wound. He had kept the herbs for a poultice in his bag, as he always did, and a few strips of cloth for bandaging. But it was apparent that they would be landing a lot sooner than Annak had hoped, after all, it was far more difficult to tend to a wound in the middle of the sky. At least it would give him a chance to practice with Micha's sword. He had mentioned that it had some magic. Annak wondered what it might be able to do.

Savina

"Yeah well, have a seat. Before someone else takes it." Savina answered before laughing nervously. "And I am sorry that you had to hear that. I was brought along onn this trip because I'm a great fighter...." She admitted.

"Then check." Senka ordered as she glared down at the Inu.

Kegan

"We could get her an actual goose feather pillow. It'll cost a few coins, but I'm sure she'll love it." Kegan suggested as he counted the money in Rein's hand. "And umm....well we already got her a doll. I mean, Brighe already got her a doll."

Rein

"That sounds good to me. Probably wouldn't hurt to get a few other things for to play with, too. Sooner or later, she'll get bored with the doll, if only for a little while." Rein suggested. She glanced at the coins in her hands. They should have enough to get whatever they needed for Atiya.

"Anything else?"

Kegan

"Not that I can think of... I mean, what else would she need?"

Carlisle

"Great....well lets hurry then. Who knows what Tsuba will send out after us." Carlisle pointed out, not realizing that it would make Mab suspicious as to who he was.

Rein

"Nothing else I can think of." Rein admitted. "I guess we may as well go ahead and start shopping."

Rein pocketed the money away and began to walk with Kegan as they shopped. As they were in the process of buying another doll for Atiya, an elderly woman approached them from an ally.

"Hello, dear." the old woman rasped out, speaking to Kegan. Rein took one look at the woman and turned her head away, resisting the urge to gag. The outfit she had on may have looked better on her fourty or fifty years ago, but now, it just looked so....wrong.

Kegan

"We're not interested." Kegan stated firmly as he stood between the elderly prostitute and Rein. "Now go along, find some other sick mind to mess with."

Rein, Woman

"Oh, come now! I'm sure I can show you a better time than that girl. Don't you want to be with a real woman?" the elderly lady said, giving a seductive (though it came across as creepy more than anything else) smile.

Kegan

"........Would you like me to buy you a mirror? It might offer you some perspective."

Rein, Woman

"Come on, let's go." Rein quickly said as she finished purchasing the doll. Without giving the other woman another glance Rein dragged Kegan away (not like he'd be resisting in the first place, though). Once they far away from the prostitue, Rein let out a quiet chuckle.

"Well, that was quite interesting. I never expected that something like that would happen." Rein said once she stopped giggling.

Kegan

"Yeah, unfortunately it's quite common in cities like these. Though usually they stick to certain parts of town... Like the bars, inns, and whatnot." Kegan replied.

Brighe

Brighe walked back into the room at the Inn. She had finally finished purchasing all of their supplies, and she had of course dumped them into Carriage that they had locked up behind the inn. Atiya was asleep, thank the Gods, and Syrien and Sten were sitting at the other side of the room. "So, how goes the planning?" She whispered to Syrien after closing the door behind her.

Rein

"Well, I guess we can go back now, since we have everything we need." Rein announced, wanting to change the subject. While the display earlier had been a little humorous, it disturbed Rein some how close she had come to sharing a similiar fate with that of that old woman's.

"Unless, maybe..." Rein's eyes drifted over to a nearby vacant and semi-obscured alleyway. She quickly shook her head at her own suggestion.

"No! Uh, sorry, force of habit." Rein apologized, blushing a little. "I made a promise to Brighe, and I want to keep it. Besides, it really wouldn't be good to worry them or disappoint them any further."

Syrien

"Planning goes good, Brighe. I have laid out a set, but not completely definitive, path for us to follow." Syrien said, gesturing to a marked map in front of him.

Brighe

Brighe walked over to the map and began to study it.

"Well then.... The Lharnon cliffs, really Syrien? I mean, I know it's flooding season in the Tok Province, but I'm sure it's not bad enough where we'll have to go through there. I mean..." Brighe commented afetr looking the map over a bit.

Kegan

Kegan nodded in agreement, though it was obvious that he was disappointed. "You know, we still have a few coins." Kegan pointed out. "It's been a while since we've been on a date."

Syrien

"The Lharnon cliffs may be dangerous, but, as well as ensuring we avoid the Tok Province, they also cut straight through the Khan Mountains and its various dense forests. That would cut off at least a month off of our journey, and avoid the needless risks that the Khan Mountains would put us through. Besides, we can be sure there are no rebel bases or encampments there. The mountains are too dense and host some of the most fierce animals in the Empire." Syrien pointed out.

Rein

"Don't worry, I'm sure we'll have more time to be together like that later, Kegan." Rein quickly assured after seeing Kegan's disappointment.

"Going on a date again would be nice." she added. "Though where could we go? It's not like we have enough coins to go anyplace fancy."

Epiphany got her sling bag ready, for she was planning on leaving town to settle for another town farther from the Capital. Empire soldiers had entered town so she figured she needed a new hiding place. She was planning to go to Luther, which was farther south and more secluded from Tsuba's forces. Epiphany didn't like this, always running from Empire forces. She missed the freedom. I just hope that Luther is not reached by Tsuba's forces so I can at least stay longer and have some more freedom. Nevermind, she is most likely determined to search the entire Empire to find all of us. Epiphany brought the sling over her shoulder and went outside, hiding her face with her cloak and keeping her head low and walked through the town.

Sunny blinked realizing that Maul had approached her.

"Yes I am him," she said, struggling to make sure her voice was low. It was weird how use to it (and referring to herself as a him) she was.

"You are Maul correct?"

Mab opened her mouth to ask why the Empress would do such a thing, but decided against it.

"Ok then Carlislie."

Nell took the ring and sniffed it. Yes the person did leave their scent behind. His ears and tail twitched as he looked up and began to sniff the air. His face was red all the time, embarrassed about his dog side.

Senka

Senka smiled eagerly as she realized that the Inu must have gotten some sort of scent. She leaned forward quickly, glancing side to side as though she were about to say a very important secret. "So...do you have his scent?" She asked quietly.

Carlisle

Carlisle took a step back, slightly surprised at how accomodating Mab was being. Another small breeze blew by, rustling the tall grass around them. Carlisle bit his lip nervousl; his eyes glazed over as he contemplated what was going on with him right. It was still hard to believe what was happening to him. Heck, it was hard to believe what he had gone through.

But suddenly, the breeze stopped and died, bringing Carlisle out of his daze. His eyes rested on Mab's face for a few seconds before he finally spoke in reply again. "Great...well then lets go."

Brighe

Brighe sighed loudly at Syrien's reply. Her elbows rested on the rickety wooden table as she stared at the Elf. Licking her lips before replying, Brighe's mind went over the best way of getting around the new problems that Syrien's plan would bring.

"Yes, and while those things are very important.... We wont be able to get the carriage through there. The Horse wont be able to take all of that weight, and even if Kegan, you, and I were all pushing the carriage behind it with Rein taking the reins...." She continued on, her eyes glancing down at the map below. But they darted up and looked into Syrien's eyes as she finished, "I'm not sure if it would be enough Syrien."

Kegan

"Well... we could just buy some food and find us a nice roof."

Maul

"Correct. May I speak with you for a moment in private, Soldier Sunny?" Maul inquired, gesturing to the nearby trees where they could go to speak without being overheard.

Syrien

"Perhaps some help would be in order..." Syrien suggested, glancing over to the large Qunari.

Rein

"Sounds good to me, Kegan." Rein said, nodding. "Even if it isn't much of a date, I'd still like to try it."

Kegan

Kegan shrugged in reply. "Well I mean, it has to be better then our last date." Kegan pointed out as his mind drifted back to how the Rebels had attacked them and almost killed Rein. It was so long ago...years, actually. But Kegan could still easily see the image of Rein's chest being pierced.

Brighe

Brighe turned her head and looked over her shoulder as she looked at Sten. Syrien had a point. The Qunari could easily do the work of three men to push the carriage. But there were so many negatives involved. How would they hide with someone so large traveling along with them? And he was so violent.....what if he hurt Atiya somehow. But the biggest issue was of course the one that Brighe whispered to Syrien. "How would we convince him to travel with us. The cutoff point for the plains is almost sixty kilometers before then..." Brighe pointed out as she looked back at Syrien.

Rein

"I'm sure it will. Nothing can be worse than how that ended." Rein said, hoping to banish the thought of how their last date ended from Kegan's mind.

"Come on, let's go. You can pick the place." she added.

Syrien

"Perhaps his culture has some sort of honor-bound system we can talk advantage of?" Syrien suggested.

Brighe

"So we'll enslave him using his flawed culture... Sounds like it could work." Brighe replied, though she knew that if they did so her Nephew would be angry.
