| (Alec I love how you're avioding the use of pronouns when talking about Sunny. XD)
"No. Nothing that they would know," Sunny replied, feeling nervous again when he placed a hand on her shoulder. "And thank you for believing me. I think they think I might come onto them because I act weird somethings," she admitted, looking down. ---------- "So how are things with you," Nell asked, wanting to change the subject to something lighter.

| (Yes, well I do try. ) RhysRhys sighed as he heard Sunny's words, fearing that this was the case. Rhys took his hand off of Sunny's shoulders and turned around, taking a few steps towards the other side of the room. "Sunny, answer me honestly. Are you attracted to men?" --------------------------------- KatieKatie tripped up for a second as the conversation suddenly switched subjects. "I'm great!" She lied loudly. "I'm a bit tired lately, with two Etiquette lessons, Healing classes, and of course, work. But otherwise, I'm great." --------------------------------- CarlisleCarlisle sat up as he heard the Guards approaching. "Carlisle. The Grand Duchess has ordered for your presence." One of the Guards shouted. Carlisle bit his lip as he jumped off of the bed. Standing behind the wall and holding his hand behind his back. He heard the locks on the doors be opened, it taking almost three minutes for all eight of them to be opened. And then the Guards quickly came in and placed some shackles around his wrists. | |

| Sunny tried her hardest not to blush. She wasn't sure what to say. She was indeed attracted to them, but if she said so she would be admitting to being gay which she wasn't. It was something she avoided when she was younger.
"I...I don't know," Sunny replied, her face burning. "I mean...um..." It was one of those moments she wished the floor would just open up and swallow her. She had no idea how to answer without lying. ----------- "That's good to hear," Nell said. He was glad that she was well with everything that was going on now. He was a little bit sad to hear she was tired, but she did have a lot on her plate.

| Rhys
Rhys sighed loudly, having all the confirmation he needed. "Very well then. I'm giving you your own room, Lieutenant. The paperwork shouldn't be very hard to fill out, and in the end, I think it's for the best." Rhys informed Sunny, turning around right afterward. "Do not worry your secret is safe with me. But do not let this affect your work." ---------------------- Katie
"Yeah well, you know. If I want to be able to relax in the future, I have to work hard now." Katie responded as they neared the Servant's Quarters. "Thanks for walking with me Nell, it was nice." She said.

| (Okay, I'm going to skip ahead with Nebi and the others in the Arena, okay?)
Nebi grimaced as he was dragged through the dark corridors that led underneath the arena. It was all like a maze or that Orc City from the last challenge two years ago. Eventually, he didn't even know what path they took.
Roughly, they tossed Nebi in an empty cell as the other prisoners jeered at him. Apparently he was fresh meat. He grimaced. He'd have to find Kegan and the Carlisle. Especially Carlisle. He just couldn't imagine the Doctor surviving in a place like this unless they gave him the job or tending to the wounded. He frowned. No. Tsuba would want to see him fight. He needed to wait for the right opportunity to escape soon and take it.

| Carlisle/Clara
Carlisle was walked into the room, still surrounded by over eight guards as he arrived into the room. The smell was odd, Carlisle noted. Very similar to incense, but much thicker.
"Guards, take the shackles off of him. And while you're at it, get rid of that disgusting shirt as well." Clara ordered, or at least, Carlisle was pretty sure that it was Clara. "Don't worry, he wont hurt you. He knows that he would be killed in the most painful way imaginable if he did." Clara added, no doubt to reassure the Guards.
Carlisle felt a small pinch around his wrists, but they were quickly relieved as the shackles fell off. The Doctor didn't have time to enjoy the free feeling for long though, as his hands were quickly pushed up, his shirt ripped off immediately after. Carlisle's mind suddenly put together what Clara wanted, and he began to blush as he tried to adjust his plan to these new...circumstances.
"Guards, I'd like you to leave now." Clara ordered, a harsh bite in her tone. Though it seemed to work, Carlisle noted, as the Guards surrounding him quickly shuffled out of the room.
And what laid before the Doctor, was one of the most beautiful sights he had ever seen. Clouds, the sky, the world. It was all still there. Too bad Clara's body was blocking the view. And she was naked too, Carlisle noted, with some disgust. ----------------------------- Brighe
Brighe stopped in place as she finally got to the Sewer Grate she had been headed for. "Ok, time for the hard work then..." She thought before climbing up a small ladder as she made her way to the top. After she was done moving the lid, Brighe peeked up to make sure there were no Guards.
"Damnit!" She though, her nostrils flaring as she saw two guards blocking the way. "....Their loss." She muttered before quickly and almost silently leaping out of the Sewer. And so her fight began. ------------------------------ Senka
"Very well then." Senka replied after she realized the Spirit wouldn't leave the boy. The Assassin then lunged towards the boy, hoping that if she could kill him, that the Spirit would hopefully leave or disappear.

| Amarok tossed himself in front of Annak in one lightning quick bound, landing in his full seven feet of height, waiting for Senka to get closer, preparing his jaw to bite her, not hard enough to kill her, but to make her hurt enough that she wouldn't try it again. Frost gathered at the giant wolf's feet, as he anticipated her next move.
Annak watched as Senka drew closer to Amarok, who was defending him in his shocked state. Annak couldn't be weak here. Not now, or he would be dead. Annak prepared himself for the Assassin's attack from behind Amarok.

| Senka
Senka quickly pulled out a short knife and leaped to the far left, rolling across the ground as she threw the knife towards the boy, between the Spirits legs. Not even letting up for a moment, Senka jumped forward, short sword in her hand as she tried to slice the Spirits legs. She wasn't sure if she even could hurt the Spirit, and she knew she couldn't kill it. But still, she had to try.

| Sunny was still embarrassed but when she heard Rhys say he would give her her own room she felt better. It was something she wanted ever since she came here. She almost hugged Rhys out of joy, but thought better of it.
"Thank you Sir and I'll be sure to do my job."
She exited the room sighing. On one hand now Rhys thought she was gay, on the other she had her own room. Not that bad for today. ----------- "You're welcome Katie," Nell said and he gave her a quick hug. "I'll do it again anytime you want." With that said he started off to get back to work.

| Carlisle/Clara
"Well hello there, Carlisle." Clara greeted. "I know that you're probably surprised to see me... I would have never expected this either, when we first met. But things have changed, haven't they?" Clara asked as she down on the lounge couch behind her. "I'm a Grand Duchess, and you, are a Champion of the Arena." She stated before motioning for Carlisle to come over. And of course, he obeyed. "I suppose you aren't going to respond, are you? That is disappointing, I suppose. But it doesn't matter, does it? I mean we do both know why I brought you up here." Clara stated as she looked up at Carlisle, trying to get an expression out of him.
The girl stood up and wrapped her arms around Carlisle, causing him to shiver in surprise a bit. Clara smiled suggestively as she realized that she had affected him in some way, and then she jumped up towards the Gladiator, stealing a kiss. Pulling away after a while, Clara noticed that the desired effect had happened to Carlisle. "Hmm, well this is probably exciting for you. When was the last time you were with a woman, Carlisle? It was probably Tsuba...hmm how sad." Clara commented as she reached down towards his pants, though she stopped as she felt a hand on her shoulder. "Oh, so I see that you've changed your...." Clara commented as she glanced up at Carlisle, only to see that there was obviously something wrong with him.
"....Adficio." Carlisle whispered, his voice sounding raspy and dry as he spoke. And then, Clara's body drained of life and disintegrated into ash.
Carlisle's breath grew heavy as he realized that his plans had finally begun. But really got to the boy, what really caused him to stop in place, was the feeling of finally speaking after so long. But there was no time to contemplate trivial things like speaking, he realized before running towards the balcony outside of Clara's room. "Ok... sixty yards up.....If I start the spell twelve yards before the water that should be enough...." Carlisle decided as he continued to stare down. And then, Carlisle jumped. ---------------------------------- Katie
"Great, I'll see you later then...." Katie replied as she walked away from Nell. ---------------------------------- Brighe
Brighe walked into a small, and bare room. The only thing inside of it were three bodies, all of them Humage, it would seem. "Ok...so if the map is right...then the third one is the one being used to keep the prison cells locked." Brighe noted before pulling out a dagger. The Elf quickly walked over to the body and grabbed it's throat, trying not to look at what she knew was a young girl, she was going to feel guilty enough after this already.
Five minutes later, all the cell doors lost their magic barrier, thus freeing every single prisoner under the Colosseum.

| Liona wandered the sewers, trying not to notice the stench. Oh, but it was horrible. Was there anybody in here? Finally, she came just below the collesseum... and the doors lost their greenish glow. The magic keeping them locked had just been disabled... who was doing this?!
The prisoners had been released. Well, she supposed she'd found the rebels. But now, there was no escape for her. But every escape for the others... she prepared to fight, but she knew there was barely any use. But if she could keep some down there, at least. She hurried to the prisons, through one of the unlocked doors, and stood in front of it.
Idiot, she thought to herself. Already, they were beginning to crowd. She gripped the sword behind her back.

| Rhys
Rhys sighed loudly as he looked down at his paperwork. He was now exhausted physically, mentally, and spiritually. But worst of all, he felt like he should be somewhere else. The question was, where? At least, that's what Rhys thought. The Captain had attempted praying to the Gods, going all the way from Zeus, to Hera, to Hestia, finishing up with Apollo. He still felt like crap.
But then, a knock came at the door, followed by a very urgent sounding voice. "Captain! Captain, the Grand Duchess has been killed. And the Colosseum is being overrun by it's Prisoners." A Soldier, Private Haynes, said after bursting through the door.
"What!? Gods...Lock down everything you can, do not let anyone enter this Castle without some way of identifying who they are. ...And tell Maul, C.C., and Senka about this. Now!" Rhys ordered as he grabbed his Sword, walking past the soldier immediately afterward. -------------------------- Brighe
Brighe ran down the halls, trying to ignore the chaos going on around her. She was still two halls away from Kegan, plus a staircase as well. The Elf tried to ignore the voice in her head that reminded her that the plan was screwed up now. That Soldiers would be here within minutes. --------------------------- Kegan
Kegan sat in place, bewildered at all the noise coming from...everywhere, actually. It was Chaos, the boy could tell. Though unfortunately he did not know that his cell door had lost it's magic barrier. And so he sat still, hoping that he would get some answers soon. "Oh Gods I swear, if there's an uprising and they don't let me out...." Kegan muttered under his breath as he heard a scream coming from one of the Guards outside of his door.
The noise continued, but this time Kegan heard an indistinct clicking noise. His cell was being unlocked..... The first one went without a beat, the second immediately following, a long minute later, the fifth one finally unlocked. Kegan stood in a defensive pose as he waited to see who was setting him free, or perhaps, coming to kill him.
"....Gods, Kegan, I know you can't cook worth a damn... But I really thought you would have eaten something while you were on the run." Brighe commented as she looked at her Nephew, noticing how pale and thin he was.
Kegan stood in place, shocked to see his Aunt after so long. "Aunt...Thank you." Kegan said, embracing Brighe as tight as he could.

| Sunny heard about what happened as she headed back to the barracks. Pushing aside all her insecurities she changed her course to help the other soldiers. In the back of her mind she wondered who had let the prisoners go. -------------- Chris stood and walked towards the doors of the temple. She moved outside of it and made her way towards the castle. Mab watched her go and was tempted to run after her, but she decided against it. Chris knew what she was doing or at least Mab hoped so. -------------- Nell heard the chaos that was beginning and he ducked into the nearest room. It was a pantry and Nell sighed in relief. He felt he would be safe here until everything was over. | |

| Rein
Rein stared at her daughter as she slept in her bed, looking rather cute and peaceful. Rein couldn't help but smile at the sight, thankful once again for Atiya. Even though things had been...rough when she had found out she was pregnant with Atiya. Still, she had perservered. While it was hard raising the little girl, Rein had had plenty of help from Brighe and Syrien, of which she had been thankful for.
Hopefully, if all went well, Rein would be reunited with Kegan and Atiya would come to know her father. It would be painful, being separated from her father after all that he had done to help her, but Rein knew she had no other choice if she wanted to see Kegan again. Syrien was bound to the throne, much like C.C. He was a slave to Tsuba, until the Empress was overthrown.
C.C.
"Hello, Katie." C.C. said somewhat cheerily, walking over toward her apprentice.

| Nebi grinned as he unlocked the door to his cell after having grabbed hid guard and knocked him out with a blow to the head against the bars. He grinned as he pushed the door open and began to look around at the carnage. To tell the truth, he felt a little bad for the guards, being outnumbered by desperate, murderous gladiators. Their fate was sealed, however and he had to look out for himself.
He walked through the hallways, making sure to avoid his more-murderous fellow prisoners, but stopping to pick up a sword for protection.
"Alright. Now, I just need to find Kegan and Carlisle and get the seals on my neck dispelled," he muttered as he headed for the rest of the cells instead of trying to escape like the other prisoners. Thankfully, he didn't have to search all of them. The other Heirs would be in similarly isolated cells.

| Gaita "May the Gods and all their servants damn this lock!" she heard Nix grumble for the eight time. The runes seemed to enhance the strength of the door and the lock, making it all invulnerable to even the most skilled thief. But now, with the runes disarmed thanks to Nix, the lock was weak and well rusted from the years exposed to the sewers. "May the Gods burn you" Nix said after yet another botched attempt to pick the lock.
Gaita stared at the young wizard, amused as she was by his frustrations, they had work to do. She stood up from her seat against the wall and walked over to the door. "May I try?" She asked while giving the door a firm push to estimate its strength. "Sure..." he said moving out of her way, " I find that turning left seems t-" A thunderous crack drowned out Nix's words and Gaita rammed into the door. Age, and a thoroughly destroyed rune had left the door to weak to stand against the impact and it gave way. She dusted off her shoulder (somewhat bloodied by the door) and turned to her partener. "Coming?" She asked.
Nix Nix and Gaita entered a Arena far different than they expected. As soon as they stepped through the door connecting the hall that lead to the sewers and the prisoner block, chaos erupted. Whatever spell that had lock the cell doors was gone (something that Nix inwardly claimed as his own work) and the prisoners were beginning to run rampant. "I'll look for our friend this way." She said pointing down one end of the hall. "And I'll go the opposing way" He finished for her and sprinted off in that direction.
About halfway down the hallway a head of messy blond hair and blue and green eyes caught his attention. Normally, Nix would have ignored the person, but he sensed the boy had magic. Magic was the force that drove every action Nix had ever taken, and if his keen magical sense where telling him to take note of the boy, then by the Gods he would. He approached cautiously, making sure that he was way from the sword. "Boy!" He said over the havoc of the riot. "How badly do you wish to escape?" He asked, never one to miss a chance to gain something. Carlisle was the main objective but Nix saw no harm in adding one more to the list of escapees.

| Nebi blinked a little when he heard someone's voice and turned around to regard the source warily. There were two people, one man and one woman. They were too well-equipped to be prisoner but definitely weren't guards.
He regarded the one that addressed him and frowned. He had strong magic about him, but not the Royal kind, which was good. He didn't need another Heir running around to become a worse tyrant than Tsuba.
He spoke, "I have no intention of being captured again if that's what you mean."

| Katie
Katie turned around as she buttoned up the last part of her Servant wear. "Oh, hello C.C. ." Katie greeted in reply, quickly switching back to the same happy facade she had used around Nell and Rein. Katie was about to say something else when she noticed a small group of Soldiers headed towards her and C.C. .
"Mage, the Empress has a task for you." One of the more official, slightly stuffy, Soldiers stated as he read from a scroll. "There is utter Chaos in the Merchantile District, around the Colosseum area to be specific. The Grand Duchess has been killed, and all the Prisoners have been set free. Tsuba wants you down there immediately so you can capture them, specifically the three Heirs that were being held down there, before they escape." ------------------------- Kegan/Brighe
Brighe sighed as she realized Kegan was crying. She was just as happy to see her Nephew at this point, but now as not the time to be emotional, she knew. "Damn....you're taller then me." Brighe commented, destroying the emotional moment and confusing Kegan.
"Brighe?" Kegan asked.
"There's no time for this right now, we need to get out of here. Before the army arrives."
Kegan opened his mouth as though he was about to protest, but he quickly shut it and nodded his head in reply. "You're right, lets go."
"Good. I hope you don't mind wading through the sewers....Well actually, you don't have a choice." Brighe replied before turning around and running out of the room, Kegan right on her feet. ------------------------------- Carlisle
Carlisle jumped out of the river, gasping for breath. The Doctor looked around in awe for almost half a minute. He had done it, for the first time in twenty-five months, he was free. He wanted to laugh, cry, apologize, go on a rampage right to the Capital so he could overthrow Tsuba. But Carlisle knew that none of those things would be smart right now.
"Ok, so you used the life drain spell on Clara. Night too bad a start after sixteen months of no magic. ....Time for something just a tad stronger though..." Carlisle decided as he studied the area of the river around him carefully. It was wide, enough for what he had planned at least.
"Vado unda addo sursum permoveo procul volo." Carlisle chanted as quickly as he could, a small blue glow coming from his hands as he spoke. For a few seconds, it seemed that the spell hadn't worked. But then Carlisle felt the current pick up, ever so slowly. Within a minute, Carlisle was rushing away from the Colosseum down the river faster then a Dragon could fly, almost. He knew that this would capture the attention of every citizen in town, and no doubt, the army as well. But if they tried to jump in the river after Carlisle, they would be crushed easily.
He was free now, and if he had his way, he would never lose it again.

| Annak, being faster this time to avoid attacks dodged sideways to avoid the knife, and began to charge a ball of ice energy. Amarok turned to the assassin as she tried to slice his legs, and bit down into her own leg, and with his powerful jaws, and neck tossed the assassin girl at a wall. Annak launched the ball of sheer cold at her, hoping the attack would connect when she hit the wall and freeze her torso to it.

The attack worked, and Senka's body launched into the wall, her torso getting frozen to it immediately afterward. Ironically enough though, the ice saved her life, as the blow from her head hitting the wall knocked her out. While the ice kept her body steady in one place.

| (Yeah. I just didn't want to waste too much time on a fight scene. I'm sorry.)
Annak grinned at Amarok as their team strategy worked. It had taken a while to fill in the gaps of their battle formation with Ikkuma gone. Her fire magic expertise were a strong asset to their part, but Amarok and Annak had learned to make do.
"Next challenger." Annak taunted. Amarok rolled his eyes.
"We should take this opportunity to escape." Amarok commented. Annak sighed in boredom.
"Fine, let's go." he agreed, and jumped onto the giant wolf's back. They both turned to the empress. "It's been a pleasure your majesty, but self preservation tells me that it's time to leave. And with that, I bid you adieu." he said, bowing from Amarok's back, before the wolf turned around, and dashed for the door, snarling at the guards in front of it, who jumped out of the way while Amarok jumped over their heads, and pushed the door open. He skided to a hault after landing, his claws making a terrible screech on the floor. Amarok looked around, growling at the stunned servants and guards, before running away down th hall. "Do you remember how to get out?" Annak asked.
"No, but I'm sure we'll find a way out soon enough." Amarok said switching back to telepathy.

| Rein
Seeing as it was getting closer to the appointed time Brighe had given when they last spoke, Rein began to pack up her things. She only got the things she needed, of course, and made it fit into a small sack, so it wouldn't seem suspcious to the other servants. If she was questioned, Rein would simply claim she was making a delivery to someone important.
Once that was done, Rein crept over to her sleeping daughter and gently shook the girl.
"Come on Atiya, wake up." Rein whispered. The little girl opened an eye lazily.
"What is it, Mommy?" she asked.
"Well, you remember how I said we'd be meeting Daddy soon?" Atiya nodded at her query. Her mother continued,
"Well, it's time for that now. We need to leave the palace to go meet him, ok?"
The toddler nodded sleepily. While Atiya got up, Rein surveyed her room for anything else they would need. Seeing nothing of importance, Rein turned her attention back to her child. Atiya was up now, though she still seemed tired.
"Alright, let's go." Rein scooped up her daughter and craddled her, while balancing her sack with her other hand. It would take a long time to reach their destination without magic, and Atiya wouldn't have the patience or energy to walk that long, so she'd have to carry her for now.
Rein opened her door, and looked around cautiously. Seeing no one in the halls, Rein walked out and began to head down the hall.
"Just where do you think you're going, Rein?" Syrien asked, coming up from behind. Rein gulped and slowly turned back.
"Um...I'm just...going out for a walk?" Rein lied weakly. Syrien stared at her, clearly unbelieving of her claim.
"I know what you're doing, Rein. I know what you and Brighe have been planning for a long time. And you're not going....without me." Syrien said.
"I'm going, Syrien, and that's....! ....Huh?" Rein questioned, clearly not expecting that response.
"I am going with you, Rein. I found a way to nullify my contract with the Empress. Now that that is done, I am going with you. I cannot let you travel alone with Kegan, Brighe, and your daughter without any protection." Syrien answered. Rein still looked a little confused, but nodded slowly.
"Well, that's....great. Let's get going, then."
The three of them set off, Rein still looking a little confused and disbelieving about Syrien's claims.
C.C.
"I see." C.C. said, scowling. "And I suppose Tsuba's Royal Guard can't handle the matter themselves?"

| (It's fine, we were getting a bit behind with those characters. So it's probably for the best. ) Katie"That is not important. What matters, Mage, is that you do what the Empress has ordered you to do." The stuffy Soldier stated before handing the Scroll to C.C. and walking away. Katie stood behind C.C., trying not to get involved as she simply processed what had been said. "....So he got away." Katie stated reassuringly, referring to Nebi. ----------------------- Rhys/ SavinaRhys stood in front of all the other Soldiers under him, just a few kilometers from the Colosseum. "Now then, we have been ordered to capture all of the Prisoners and secure the Colosseum. The Heirs will be left to the Order of Shadows, and the Empress' more...powerful, Slaves. Do you understand me when I tell you that if you see an Heir, do not fight them! They will easily kill you, and move on. Do I make myself clear?" Rhys asked as he stared down at all of his Men. "Captain, yes Captain. We understand and obey!" The Soldiers shouted in reply, Savina being one of them. "Good, then lets move out." ------------------------ CyrilCyril continued to walk down the streets, now feeling somewhat excited. He knew that something was going on in the city, the rush of Soldiers made that fact obvious to everyone. But Cyril still didn't know what was going on, only having a few rumors to go off of. "Man, what I would do to ride those waves...." Cyril commented as he looked down at the river, not realizing that it was odd that a small circular river would even have waves. But then the boy heard a rumble, and the waves and current picked up, going at an almost absurd speed now so that even the dense boy could tell something was up. Of course he didn't have more then a few seconds to wonder what the hell was going on. A giant wave was rushing down the river, and on top of it, the Champion he had seen from the Colosseum was riding the wave in the most literal way possible. Cyril's mouth dropped open as all the craziness going on finally clicked inside his head. The wave headed for a rather large bridge, and for a few seconds, Cyril was sure that the Gladiator was trying to destroy it. But suddenly, the wave dropped right under from the man, causing him to fly through the air and land onto the bridge. Cyril contemplated whether or not he should go and ask the guy whether or not he knew where the Rebel Base was, when a platoon of Soldiers quickly passed him. "Sir, you need to go indoors right now!" One of the Soldiers ordered. "Umm, sure, yeah. I was just on my way back home." Cyril replied before quicky walking away. | |

| Ana lay on a roof building, hidden in the shadows of the next building over, which was slightly taller. She still had no job, but it hadn't taken long for her to hear about the chaos going on in the Merchantile District. Now she was on a building close to the Colosseum, watching the soldiers as they readied to deal with the disaster.
She smiled to herself as she heard the soldier's words. She had heard talk of the Heirs before, and knew that they would be high priority to find and capture, if not kill.
The only hitch to this was that she didn't want to place herself in a position where the Empress could control her. She was a mercenary, but if this Tsuba found her useful, who knew what would happen.
And what is this Order of Shadows, anyways?
They could complicate things for her.

"Yes. He did." C.C. said, smiling softly. "Well, I suppose I must leave now. Hopefully I won't have to reschedule our lessons later today."
Maul
As Brighe and Kegan made their escape, they happened to come across Maul. The Order of the Shadows assassin studied the two carefully, not drawing his weapons. After a very tense silence, he spoke.
"We must hurry, if you two seek to escape. Tsuba's mooks will be here soon."
