This World

Zach raised an eyebrow at her boyfriend. She didn't mind the outfit.

"I think that's the point," the kid, Todd said. "If they were flattering all us guys would do is stare." He looked at Zach and smiled at her. "Well not me. I'm a gentleman."

"Sure Todd, sure."

Sayo

"So, is there anything wrong with Amy?" Sayo asked with concern. After all, it wasn't a usual thing, to just faint without any warning in the middle of the day. It was probably nothing, but Sayo wanted to be sure with Amy. Considering they knew nothing about her past (and, because of that, her medical history), Sayo wasn't sure whether her fainting should be a cause of concern or not.

Michel

Michel shivered as the blood landed onto his shoes, beginning to regret his decision to go through with the interview. "How is it you survived being shot so many times, and your ability to seemingly teleport wherever you please... Can you explain those things to me?"

Murderer

The Murderer gave a chilling laugh in response to that question. "Isn't it obvious, mister reporter? How I survived being shot, how I can teleport, how I am never caught in the act of my killings? Quite simply...."

The Killer was gone from his spot, but was now next to Michel, inches away from his right ear.

"I'm not human!"

Michel

Michel gasped as he felt the Killer's presence move, immediately followed by the revelation that he wasn't even human. "Then what are you!?" The Reporter asked as he quickly turned to look at the Murderer.

Jacob

"She wasn't out for long, but still, pretty weird. Aint it?" Jacob asked the Nurse, a bit of worry sneaking through the boy's words.

"I'm not sure. But I looked over her and see what I can find out. You two boys better get to class," the nurse said. "She's in good hands with me now."

Sayo

"Well, if you're sure..." Sayo said, somewhat unwilling to leave Amy. But they did need to get to class...

Murderer

"As I said. I am the herald of my Mistress. Nothing more, nothing less."

The Killer backed away from Michel. Lifting his hand, the thing threw a roll of bills at the reporter.

"I believe that should settle the cost of my interview. Thank you for your time, Michel. I look forward to seeing you again. Tell your girlfriend I said 'hi'. I may visit her soon enough."

Then he was gone.

Jacob

"Are you sure, we don't mind missing the test after all."

Michel

Michel stopped writing as he hear the killer reference Rebekkah. "What, you-" The Reporter protested as he turned to confront the killer, only to see that he had already left. Without thinking for another second, Michel quickly pulled out his cell phone to try and call Rebekkah so he could warn her, only to find that the battery to his phone had been taken away somehow.

Michel quickly pocketed his notebook and grabbed the money that was currently lying on the ground before him, running to his car immediately after.

"Well if you stay you better not get in my way," the nurse said sighing. She admired the two boy's worry for their friend. "And you'll have to make the test up as well."

She turned back to Amy. "Now Amy can you take a seat on that bed over there."

Amy did as she was told. She had a feeling that the nurse wouldn't find anything really wrong with her, but she kept quiet.

Sayo

"Fine with me." Sayo agreed. He was pretty sure the nurse wouldn't find anything wrong with Amy, but it wouldn't hurt to stay with her anyway.

Jacob

"Great.." Jacob replied before sighing in relief as he took a seat in the corner.

The nurse began to examine Amy, asking her questions as well.

"Did you get enough sleep last night."

"I got about seven hours."

"Ok. And you had breakfast this morning?"

"Yes."

"Has this happened before?"

"Not that I can recall."

The nurse leaned back, thinkining. "Well you look healthy and I can't figure out what could of made you faint. It could be an effect from something, but I'm not sure. But you look alright, so it shouldn't be that big a deal."

"That's good," Amy said, smiling.

"Anyways would you like to rest here or will you go back to class?"

"Um...is it ok if I rest a little bit?"

"That's fine with me. I'll be in my office if you need me." The nurse walked over to an adjourning room shutting it most of the way.

Jacob

"So, are you gonna be alright?" Jacob asked after the nurse had left, jumping out of his seat and walking over to Amy.

"Yeah I just..." Amy trailed off. No she couldn't say anything about her visions. It wasn't time yet. "I'm just a little tired still. I think I'll rest a little. You guys don't have to stay here."

Jacob

"Nah it's alright, besides, if you were here alone that would be boring." Jacob replied after patting Amy on the back. "Unless....you two want to be alone together, then I could go...I guess." Jacob said with a raised eyebrow as he motioned between Sayo and Amy.

Sayo

"Don't worry Amy, it's fine. We're friends after all." Sayo said with a smile. After hearing what Jacob said, Sayo turned bright red.

"H-Hey! I-it's, um, nothing like that!"

Amy giggled at Sayo's embarrassment.

"Sayo's right. There is nothing going on between us. I just need some time to myself if that's ok. I'll see you guys later anyways."

Jacob

"Well ok then." Jacob replied to Amy before slowly backing out of the room.

Sayo

"Well, if you're sure." Sayo added, taking a step to the door too.

Amy watched them go and sighed. Her hands were shaking. Something was going on. The deaths and her fainting...Amy wondered if they were connected.

And no matter how hard she tried she could not get the picture of the building burning out of her mind.

'Who...Who am I?'
