"Hey Zach, wait up!" Orion called, laughing his head off at the thought of Sayo having to explain what a pedo was to Amy. He grinned mischievously. He and Amy would make a cute couple.

Jacob

"Yeah... Hey Sayo, can I sit next to you in English? I didn't study and I need someone to copy off of...." Jacob asked as he continued walking with Amy and Sayo. "Yes, yes, I know cheating is wrong and all. But if I fail this test, my Mom will kill me. Or worse, make me spend time with Michel so he can teach me."

Michel

"Oh umm... Thank you very much." Michel replied before he grabbed the letter, leaning back into his chair before he opened it. After he was finished reading the letter, Michel quickly read it again as he tried to make sure he wasn't missing something. "Hopefully this isn't another false lead." He silently hoped as he got out of the chair and grabbed his coat. "Umm, Barbara, clear anything in my schedule for the day, I'm going out."

"Michel you don't have anything in your schedule today." Barbara said, obviously annoyed as she looked up from her crossword puzzle.

"Well then I guess you have nothing to worry about." Michel replied before quickly leaving the room.

Sayo

"Sounds good to me," Sayo said, happy that explanation had satsified Amy. For the moment, at least. Still, at least that crisis was over. Turning his head over to Jacob, he said,

"Sorry Jacob, but you should have studied. If you get caught, I'm not going down with you. I could help you study for a few minutes while we walk there, though."

Reginald Fau

Seeing as he had no class this hour, Reginald closed his door, locked it, and went back to his desk. He got out his cell phone, flipped it open, and dialed a number.

"It's me. Yes, I've found her. She looks exactly liker Her, but I'm not entirely convinced just yet. I'll observe her for a period of time, to determine if she is truly the one we seek. Yes, I am completely sure that She is in this town, even if it isn't this 'Amy'. The presence of the Prophet confirms that much. Yes, I understand. Don't worry, I will not fail. If Amy does turn out to be Her, then she will be eliminated before she has time to act. Very well. Goodbye."

Once the reporter reached the specified location where he was to meet his contact, a cloaked man could be seen nearby. Noticing Michel, he strode forward.

"You are the reporter, yes?"

Jacob

Jacob growled in frustration with himself as Sayo denied his request, but he realized it wasn't his friends fault he hadn't studied. "Umm, sure. That would be great." Jacob replied to Sayo's suggestion.

Michel

"Yes...?" Michel replied as he looked at the cloaked man, not recognizing anything about him.

"Jacob why don't you study," Amy asked. "If you do your work you'll have more time to relax instead of stressing out about failing."

"What do you think we have to do in gym today," Zach asked. She hoped it was something fun. Or at least not that tiring. Physical education was one of the few things Zach did well in. She was more book smart.

((Any ideas what to do next with the gang? Unless you all want to continue having them go about their daily routine at school. Oh, wait, I have a little idea. Toko? May I have your permission to have Amy experience a very brief vision?))

Sayo

"I'll be glad to help you there. What do you need help on the most?" Sayo asked.

"Greetings. I go by many names, but none of them are important right now. I am glad you came. I have much to tell you." the cloaked man (by the voice, it was easy to tell it was a man) spoke. He walked closer to the reporter.

"I hope it's dodgeball," Orion told her cheerfully. He was rather quick on his feet and could dodge just about anything. It helped that he had good aim as well. He grinned, "That's always fun."

(You have it.)

Zach nodded and headed into the girl's locker room, hoping that Orion was paying attention and did not try to follow her. It would be funny, but Zach was sure that half the girls in here would kill him.

(I say we have them go through their school schedule for this day, just so it's all established who has what classes with each other. For future references and what not.)

Jacob

"Whatever it is that we were supposed to be studying, Sayo. And thanks." Jacob replied quickly as he followed his friend. "And come on, Amy, if I studied I wouldn't be meeting our teachers expectations. It's the principle of the whole thing."

Michel

"Erm, well okay then." Michel replied, feeling awkward as he pulled out his notepad. "So what is it that you want to tell me about the killer?"

"Well as long as you're doing all you can then it's ok," Amy replied, teasing him. "And it's up to you Jacob."

"Not much, Michel. In fact, it's more of a warning." the cloaked figure said. The sunlight then reflected on an object the man had in his hand, causing a small glare. The object in question was a knife. And it was dripping blood.

In the blink of an eye the cloake figure was behind the reporter, and pressed the knife to his neck. "I just wanted to say, I am the killer, mister reporter. I thought you'd like an exclusive with me."

General Narrative

The world around Amy suddenly disappeared. Sayo, Jacob, and the school vanished in an instant. Darkness surrounded Amy before a series of fast and brief images flashed through. They all went by too fast to see clearly, but one stood still long enough for the girl to make out. It was of a building, burning to the ground.

Then, as soon as it had started, the visions vanished. Sayo was shaking Amy by the shoulders. "Hey, Amy! Are you ok? You fainted!"

Amy blinked and looked at Sayo in confusion.

"What-" She shook her head, trying to focus. "I-I'm fine. I just didn't get much sleep last night."

Amy wasn't one for lying, but everything in her said that it was the right thing to do. At least until she figured out what happened. What that last image meant. Amy had a feeling it had to do with her past.

Jacob

"Are you sure? Maybe we should take you to the school Nurse, I mean, collapsing in hallways randomly can't be good..."

Michel

Michel dropped his pen and notepad as he stood still in shock and fear. "A-are you going to kill me?" Michel asked, his voice shaking.

"Yeah maybe I should," Amy agreed. She didn't want to worry the others, but it was too late now. "But shouldn't you guys be getting to class. I don't want to make you miss the test."

Jacob

"Oh Amy, it's fine. Friends come first, especially before some silly little test. Come on now, lets get you to Miss Brensky before you collapse again or something." Jacob reassured Amy as he reached his hand out to Amy so he could help escort her.

Sayo

"He's right. Friends always come first. Besides, you might faint again, and it's better if we went with you." Sayo said.

Killer

"Kill you? Oh no, no no no no. I just want a civilized chat. An interview. That's what you reporters do these days, right? I just want my voice to be heard in a different format. Leaving messages on bodies can get to be boring after a time. Especially when the police never released that fact." the Killer said. Gently, he lifted the knife from Michel's neck.

"Ask away, Michel."

Amy took Jacob's hand and glanced quickly at Sayo. She really appreciated there kindness.

"Thank you both."

Michel

"Oh...." Michel replied before leaning over to grab his notebook and pen again, moving slowly so as not to startle the killer. After he was ready with pen and pad in hand, Michel cleared his throat and asked, "Why did you kill those people?"

Jacob

Jacob gripped onto Amy;s hand softly and flashed her a warm smile. "Great, then it's settled since Sayo agrees with me. Lets go."

Sayo

Sayo grabbed Amy's other hand. "Make sure to be careful, though. You don't have to walk too fast. We don't want to cause you to faint again by accident."

Killer

"Because She orders me to. She always orders me to do things like this. I am Her herald, Her prophet. I am the blade to Her sword. I do this because it is my duty to usher in the Awakening of my Mistress." the Killer stated.

Michel

Michel quickly wrote down a summary of what the killer had said, using his sloppy short-hand style of writing. "Can you tell me who she is, Sir?"

Jacob

"True, that would be embarrassing." Jacob agreed with Sayo.

Orion had almost followed Zach into the locker room but paused just in time. He laughed a little. The last time that happened, it hadn't gone well. He had almost been killed. It was only Zach and Amy that saved him.

With that thought, he headed for the boy's locker room to get dressed. This was the only downside about gym: stupid uniforms.

Zach went into the gym. She was a faster changer unlike some girls. A few boys were already in the gym. She waved to a few.

"Hey Zach," a scrawny one said running up to her. "I hear you and Orion are together," he said wiggling his eyebrows. Zach playfully shoved him.

"Yeah we are. Wait? How did you hear that?"

"People saw you kissing in the autitorium. Not exactly the sneakest thing."

Amy could only imagine fainting, maybe dragging both boys down with her. Or at least her deadweight would make them stumble. The image made Amy smile.

"I promise I won't faint," she said, squeezing their hands, "if I can help it."

Killer

"The one who shall bring....well, I think I'll save that part as a surprise. Any other questions, mister reporter?" the killer asked, twirling his knife. A few drops of blood flew off, one landing on Michel's shoe.

Sayo

"Good." Sayo said. He and Jacob successfully led Amy to the nurses' office, with no further incidents of fainting occuring. Thankfully.

Miss Brensky looked up from her desk as they entered and rushed over to the trio.

"Is something wrong?"

Amy nodded, suddenly feeling embarrassed. "I fainted in the hall. So my friends brought me here."

"Well they are certainly nice friends."

"Who says we were trying to be sneaky?" Orion announced, walking up behind the boy with a grin. He made a show of looking up and down Zach's uniform, "You know, that outfit just doesn't flatter you at all."
