This World

Orion smirked a bit as he kissed Zach, deeper, trying to ignore his lack of oxygen before, at last, he had to pull away.

"Knew you wanted me," he murmured into her ear.

Sayo

"Maybe we could...do it again?" Sayo suggested shyily, smiling with a little nervousness.

Killer, Jennifer

The book collided with the killer's head, though it appeared to not affect him all that much. It paused though, its knife hovering over Jennifer's neck. It glanced over at Jacob and growled.

Jennifer used the momentary distraction to her advantage. She kicked the beast off of her, and scrambled toward the machine gun. Jennifer grabbed it in the nick of time and swung to open fire on the killer...but he was gone. Mystified, Jennifer looked around. The honking of a car horn brought her attention back to the road. Somehow, all the cars that had disappeared before were now back. Slowly, she got up, picked up her book, and stowed away the gun. She quickly drove away, least anything else weird and dangerous happen.

"I...have no idea what just happened here." Jennifer admitted.

Zach hit Orion on the arm, but she was grinning.

"Only for your body," she said, taking a hotdog and moving to the living room.

Amy shook her head at Sayo, but she leaned closer to him.

"Ok."

Jacob

Jacob sat back in his seat, shocked into silence after the Killer disappeared. The Boy tried to guess what had just happened, but nothing came to mind, well, nothing reasonable at least. "We can't tell anyone else about this...." Jacob decided after a few seconds of awkward silence.

"What? Not for my charming personality or my money?!" Orion complained playfully as he grabbed his hot dog and followed her, "Still. I can live with that."

"I don't need your money and your personality. Well..." She smirked at him. "Kidding."

Jennifer

"I don't think they'd even believe us." Jennifer added, shaking her head.

Sayo

Sayo gulped a little, but leaned in toward Amy. He kissed her again, this time making the kiss last for a few more seconds. Eventually, and somewhat reluctantly, he brokre it off. Sayo blushed more and grinned a little.

"That was still nice. I like kissing you, Amy." he said, somewhat awkwardly.

Jacob

"I know I wouldn't... Hell, I'm not even sure if that actually happened or not... Did you put something in your soda, because I drank out of it when you weren't looking."

"So, why don't you stay in my room with me?" Orion teased her with a smirk, "My bed's big enough for two and I won't try anything."

"Me too," Amy said. She had finally forgotten about the weird things that were happening to her. She just wanted to live in his moment.

"Uh-huh Orion. I'm sure of that," Zach teased back.

"Unless, of course, you want me to," he amended slyly as he grinned at her teasing.

Zach shook a finger at Orion.

"Nope. I'm saving myself for marriage," she said, in a serious tone, though she was slightly smiling, making it hard to tell if she was kidding or not.

Sayo

"So...what do you want to do now?" Sayo asked curiously. Well, he was certainly glad he had asked Amy out now. Sayo made a note to himself to thank Jacob for his advice when he got the chance.

Jennifer

"Nope, nothing." Jennifer replied. She continued to drive as an awkward silence descended upon them. A smile slowly spread across her face, though, and she looked back over at Jacob.

"You still haven't gotten your punishment from your actions this morning, come to think of it."

"We could just make out or cuddle," he pointed out with a grin.

Jacob

"....How do I know what happened back there wasn't the punishment?" Jacob asked as he grabbed Jennifer's soda and took another sip out of it. "I mean, that could have been traumatizing and ****."

"That actually does sound that bad," Zach admitted. "But I still don't know."

"Why don't you tell me how you all met," Amy asked, sitting back down.

Orion frowned, berating himself for making her uncomfortable, "I'm sorry. We don't have to do anything like that again. I promise I won't do anything you don't want me to do."

"No, no, no," Zach said, feeling bad as well. She didn't mean it in the way it came out. "I was still teasing you. I'm sorry about that. Don't worry too much about me. And thank you as well."

Sayo

"Well, it's a bit of a long story." Sayo started, chuckling a bit at the memory of their first meeting.

"Well, Jacob and I had been friends since he moved into the house behind mine. We got along pretty well. It wasn't until the first year of junior high, though, that I met Orion and Zach. I'd come across them in the halls before, but it wasn't until we get the same home-room that we really talked. Jacob and Orion immediately hit it off while Zach and I tried to make sure they didn't cause too much trouble with the teacher. Eventually, we all just became friends and began to hang out." Sayo explained, fondly recalling the events.

Jennifer

Jennifer laughed at Jacob's reply. She would have said more, but they arrived at his house then. She pulled into the driveway.

"I guess I'll have to punish you at a later date." she teased, winking at him.

Jacob

"Great. I'm free Friday." Jacob replied as he grabbed his backpack. "See you then." He replied before grabbing her drink and jumping out of the car, shutting the door behind him.

"Sounds wonderful," Amy said, sighing as she imagined it in her head. "I wish I could remember my friends. When I try my head hurts." To prove this, she rubbed her head. "Tell me more about your past. I'm curious."

"It's fine and you're welcome," Orion told her with a grin before kissing her quickly. He grinned, "I can get used to this."

Sayo

"Well, there's not much to tell." Sayo protested. "I'm just an ordinary boy."

Sayo felt sorry for Amy after she said that. It was hard to remember, sometimes, that she had amnesia. He didn't even want to know what it must be like, having no memories of your family, friends, loved ones. It must be terrible. But at least Amy had friends here to help her through it.

"I-I..." Amy trailed off. No she couldn't tell him. Not yet. "I want to know what it was like growing up. Or we can talk about something else."

"So what do you want to do, beside make out," Zach asked.

"We could watch a movie or play video games," he told her with a shrug, "Or we can go outside. I have a basketball hoop in my backyard, remember?"
