Into the Netherworld (Real Terror Universe)

Taryn giggled and answered, "Yes, I suppose that counts for something." Then she got a good look and his face. She tried to resist a bit this time. It was harder than she thought. "Come on, Thomas! That isn't fair!" she whined.

"Hey. You drive my hormones crazy all the time, especially that one time when we went to the pool," Thomas pointed out, continuing with his infamous look, though he blushed a little at the memory, of Taryn looking so hott, like a goddess really, and his shorts seeming too tight all of a sudden. He blushed even more. He shook his head, "I need to repay you somehow."

Taryn's cheeks would have flared scarlet if they could have. But they couldn't. Just the usual reddish color that was as noticeable as her skin would allow. "Thomas!" she laughed, pushing him playfully.

"It's true!" he protested with a shrug, "It's not my fault! You're incredibly hott and I'm only human."

He laughed a little, her blush not going unnoticed by him. He smirked at her, "You can't say you haven't noticed how incredibly attractive I am, can you?"

Taryn giggled, dipping her head slightly. "That's a silly question. But, gee, I don't know, Thomas. I've gotta think about that one," she murmured, in a teasing manner. Her sly smile gave away that she was joking.

"Taryn-chan," he whined, giving his girlfriend his infamous puppy-dog looking at full power. He cupped her chin and looked at her as attractive as he could make himself, "You don't like my body?"

He smirked a little, waiting for her reaction.

Taryn couldn't help but smile at him. She couldn't do anything else, that face melted her from the inside out and turned her into a... giggling puddle of girl. "Of course I do," she replied.

"Good," he laughed, kissing her gently before pulling away with a grin. He liked making her smile. He had since they were kids.

Taryn smiled at him. She stood up and leaned one side against the tree. "So," she said, "What do you want to do now?"

"I have no idea," he admitted, a little disappointed at the loss of the weight on his lap. He stood up and stretched. He grinned mischievously, "Torture Lily with her own imagination about this?"

Charlie moved to a bench and opened her book of summons. It didn't list all of them of course. Mainly it talked about the history of summoners and how to control yourself and the creatures you do and a few beginner level ones. Her grandmother said that she would move on after she read and completely understood the book.

Taryn shook her head, and said laughingly, "As good as that sounds, I think she's with Hanyer. They should enjoy their first date. We can bug them about it later. " Then she added, sounding a bit periphrastic, "Where do you think Charlie is?"

"Come on," she said, grabbing him by the hand
"I wanna show you something." Lily pulled towards a willow that bent sideways and hung low over the pond, stretching towards the middle, Its vines curtained thickly.

"Probably on a bench reading her book. It's not necessarily fun hanging around two pairs of teenagers," he told her.

"It's beautiful," he said, then he looked at Lily. "Just like you."

She blushed. "That's not it, come on." She pulled his wrist and opened up the leaves, the tree twisted and bent in all kinds of ways, the only light came filtered through the vines, she released his hand and swung onto a branch, she crawled out onto the branch over the pond. there was a juncture in the limbs, were you could sit comfortably like a bench over water.

Hanyer followed. He never knew about this before and was glad that Lily showed him. He sat down next to her, quiet. He felt like if he spoke it would ruin the moment or something.

Taryn nodded. "I've heard. I remember hanging out with Jessica when I was a little younger. She and her boyfriend were mackin' up against walls and stuff. It was quite unpleasant," she said, referring to when she used to hang around her older cousin.

Thomas shivered, remembering the few times he saw them. He had sometimes wondered if they were one being, considering how intertwined their bodies became. He grinned a little, "Whatever happened to them? Did Jessica get pregnant ? If so, Lily owes me five bucks."

Taryn laughed slightly, "Wellll... looks like it's payday. Pregnant at seventeen. Became the prime example of what not to do for the younger girls in the family." The news hadn't surprised anyone. That was the sad part.

"Oh. I hope the baby's healthy. And her boyfriend better be helping out," Thomas told her, frowning a little. He had only been joking when he made the joke.


(A pregnant girl actually sits next to me in class. Never bothered to ask incase it was a touchy subject.)

(Yeah. I get that. I didn't really talk to my cousin about it right after it happened. But she's doing okay.)

Taryn smiled at him and put a hand on his shoulder, "Everything's going great with her and the kid so far. Tony's helping every chance he gets and everyone's making sure she gets what she needs. As much as they used to gross me out, they're good for each other."

"I'm glad," he told her, smiling back at her. He placed his hand on hers and murmured, "You're too good for me."

(I have a nephew. XD He's half a year old. Sorry I felt inclined to join the discussion)

Charlie flipped through the pages. Some of it wasn't in English and when it was sometimes the words weren't ones she knew.

"I'm never going to get through this book," she thought outloud.
