Book 2.5: The Great Fights (Teen) {Open/Spots still open}

(Me and Alec were just talking about it. XD And sure.)

"See I'm not just a jerk like you thought," Jet said, reading Jin's mind. "My parents taught me right before they were killled."

Toph opened her mouth to say something, but she wasn't sure what.

"Teo how can we possibly dance? Usually you have been lying to everyone for your whole life, I'm sure you're not going to be able to stand."

((Great. So, maybe Aang could begin it first, or ask Suki about it?))

"I....suppose you're not a jerk. So long as you never bring up that kiss again, I will continue to think so." Jin replied. In some ways, Jet kind of reminded her of Zuko. Not that he'd ever want to hear that, though.

(That we were.)

Mai/Iroh/Sokka

"He intends to take an entire nation from the Fire Nations clutches in one day? What has he been smoking lately?" Mai wondered as she turned around and began to walk up the hill after she decided Iroh was being entirely too optimistic about how powerful the Old White Lotus was.


"Very well Iroh, what do you propose we do to accomplish this grand task?" Pakku asked.

(Jet:What do you mean like Zuko? Do I have a scar? Am I Fire Nation? Did I lie to you? ....

Jin:Maybe I shouldn't have brought it up....

XD)

"Only if you don't mention mine," he told her. Jet was feeling better. His leg didn't hurt as much since they weren't dancing that fast. "So this has been an interesting couple of days."

Teo grinned, "I just came up with a great idea using my wheelchair to dance. I'm pretty sure I won't run over people's toes."
Aang smiled as he took control of his and Suki's dance. He had a great idea about a new dance.

Toph shrugged. She was bored anyways. So why not see what Teo had in mind.

"As long as you don't kill me, then sure."

"Great!" Teo exclaimed, grabbing Toph's hand and leading her to the dance floor. He grinned as he spun his wheel chair around, twiling Toph around in the process. Some people were giving him some space, but he didn't mind. He was kind of used to it.

Toph found that Teo's idea was actually fun. She let herself laughes as she was twirled around.

"You're right. This is a great idea."

"Of course it's fun," Teo told her as he did a wheelie, almost running into someone in the process. He grinned happily before lifting Toph up for a moment to allow himself to spin even faster. He laughed, "When have my ideas not been genius?"

Iroh

"Simple. If we can take Ba Sing Se, then the Earth Kingdom is ours. All other conquered cities report to Ba Sing Se. We take the capital, and we win the nation. Once Ba Sing Se is ours, people around the entire Kingdom will become inspiried to overthrow their dictators. Everything lays within Ba Sing Se." Iroh explained.

"What do you have in mind Aang?" Suki asked as he took control.

(So umm it's about forty days until the comet arrives, correct?)

Mai stopped in her tracks and turned around after hearing Iroh's plan. "He's actually as brilliant as history says, that's.....surprising." The girl whispered to herself as she walked back down and stood next to Sokka.
"Don't talk please." The girl told Sokka as she noticed a smug grin on his face.
The expressions changed as Sokka's looked away disappointed and a triumphant look came upon Mai's face.


Pakku nodded in reply, satisfied with the plan.

(Yesh.)

Toph didn't reply. She just kept on dancing. It was different than how she thought it would be. And Teo wasn't as creepy as she thought he was.

Iroh

"Now, all we need to do is plan on how to take the city. Even with our mights combined, five old men alone cannot take a city. We need to gather an army. We need to gather the entire Order together, for a mission of this importance." Iroh continued.

Teo grinned as he spun him and Toph around again. He blushed a little and told her, "I can go faster if you're on my lap. It's fine if you don't want to." He spun himself again with a grin.

Aang smiled at Suki, "It's a new dance. I'll show you." He spun her around with a grin.

(Yeah)

Toph felt weird, but nodded.

"It's fine," she replied. Toph didn't get too embarrassed by situations like this.

"So Jin have you ever danced before," Jet asked, trying to sound casual.

Suki

Suki gave another surprised gasp as Aang spun her around. W-What in Gaia was he doing?

Jin

"Well...with no one outside of my family, but those weren't too many times. Mostly when I was younger. My mother had tried to teach me to dance, but she could never set me down long enough to succeed." Jin replied. The thought of her missing mother brought some sadness to her heart. But she pushed it back down. Right now wasn't the time for moping. After all, this was a dance. She should feel happy.

Not that this meant anything, of course.

"Well you seem like a better student now," he teased. "Maybe it's because you're taller." He spun Jin around and smiled slyly at her. It was weird, but Jet didn't really mind too much. Beside it didn't mean anything.

Teo blushed before bringing Toph on his lap before spinning his wheelchair around once again, determined to forget about the awkwardness he had at the moment.

Aang smiled before bringing Suki into a dip. He vaguely wondered what Sokka would say if he saw him now. He'd probably kill him.

Ty Lin gave a sigh. "Damn that girl, it looks like she's going to win the bet."

Suki gave another surprised yelp as Aang dipped her. Well, she had never known he was such a good dancer. Katara was going to be a lucky girl when they got together. She couldn't help but feel a little jealous. Of course, it ah meant nothing. Nothing whatsoever. She only thought of Aang as a little brother.

Jin couldn't help but giggle. She felt a little embarrassed about that but pushed it from her mind. No, it meant nothing. Nothing whatsoever. She was just dancing with a friend. "So Jet, have you ever danced with someone before?"

Katara/Zuko

"Well then since we can agree on that, I suppose we should discuss the basics. Zuko do you think you would even have a chance at beating your sister?"Katara asked, catching the prince off guard.

"Well I guess I could...well the thing is no I couldn't. My bending has only gotten worse since since we last saw each other." Zuko replied awkwardly as he tried to skim over that the last time Katara had seen him bend was at Ba Sing Se.

"Then I suppose your only real use is as a guide." Katara replied harshly. satisfied when she saw Zuko's angry acceptance with what she said.

"Well do you really think that you have a chance at beating Azula?"

"I almost beat her when we we're in Ba Sing Se, but then you saved her." Katara said as she ended the discussion over whether either of them could face Azula. The waterbender knew that this fight probably made On Ji feel uncomfortable, but she was enjoying cutting Zuko down at every chance she could get, and she wasn't about to stop anytime soon.

Pakku/Sokka/Mai


Sokka looked thoughtful for a second as he heard Iroh's words. "I can do it!" The young water tribe boy shouted. "Just tell me where all of the white lotus members are and I can vist them and inform them of the plan while looking for Aang so he can help us when we take Ba Sing Se." Sokka explained as he looked at Piandao, then Pakku, and then finally Iroh.

Iroh

"I approve, Sokka. As long as it is ok with the others. However, Aang cannot help us take Ba Sing Se. We must take it on the Day of Sozin's Comet. On that day, the Avatar must face Azula. My brother...he was planning something, something I fear Azula wishes to continue." Iroh said, a troubled look coming to his face. If what his source in the Palace had said was true, and Azula still planned to continue that....then the Avatar had to defeat Azula on that day.

"Understood." Sokka said with a nod. "So I guess I'm going to need a m-"

"I'm going with Sokka." Mai said as she cut the young man off. "Anything that can get my mind off the impending doom for us all." The girl thought as she convinced herself to leave.

"He cannot accomplish this mission alone and I have experience with Azula and hunting the avatar that could help us. It certainly wouldn't hurt the plan if I helped." She explained as she tried to make her leaving sounds as appealing to Iroh as possible.

"You can't come!" Sokka said in a high-pitched and nervous voice as he looked at Mai though she were crazy.

"Why not?"

Iroh

"It is fine with me if you want to go with Sokka, Mai. The more to inform our agents of the coming battle, the better. Besides....no offense meant Sokka, but you may need help. You aren't exactly the best with a weapon." Iroh said lightly, trying not to offend the boy. If it was alright with the other Grand Masters, it would be alright with him. Mai was a valueable fighter. Hmm...perhaps she might also make a good agent in the future. Sokka too, perhaps.

((And Sokka and Mai can get their own bonding trip! Yay! Loopy would be very, very pleased.))

(Well since I also love the idea of Maikka......crazy awkward shipping situations may or may not occur on this trip, I make no promises.)

"I see no reason why not." Pakku answered, slightly amused at the idea of Sokka having to deal with the girl.

"Fine she can come." Sokka said, annoyed and frustrated at seeing Mai's smug smile looking back at him.

"Well then like I was saying, I'll be needing a map marking all of the Old White Lotus meeting areas so we can spread the word." Sokka answered as he tried to move past the setback of traveling with an extra person.

"We'll also be needing some form if proof that the Grand Masters are the ones sending us, along with some money of course." Mai pointed out before looking up at Iroh.


(Yes Pakku enjoys Sokka's pain just as much as the rest of us do.)

((Yes, we all enjoy Sokka being in pain. And I completely approve of the coming awkward, crazy shipping situations that Mai and Sokka may have. I'm looking forward to it. Perhaps I can make an OC that could be hired by Azula to find Mai? Hm, all we need is some Kacest and Zucest and we're the shipping thread.))

"Very well. Here is all the gold I have that I stole off my guards. I won't be needing them anytime soon. Here's a map I happen to have handy. All the locations marked in black are White Lotus meeting places. As for proof...here is a Pai Sho tile. The White Lotus to be exact. It is specifically made for each Grand Master the Order has. It has a special marking on it that will prove we sent you." Iroh said, handing Mai and Sokka the various items. He also seemed amused at Sokka having to deal with Mai.

"Oh and Mai, make sure not to take too much advantage of Sokka. Otherwise my nephew might get jealous." Iroh couldn't help but joke.
