Book 2.5: The Great Fights (Teen) {Open/Spots still open}

((That's what me and Toko were discussing. But yeah I just couldn't leave Sokka and Mai alone when everyone else was having awkward shipping madness times. I intend to somehow get Zuko in on it while leaving KAtara alone somehow. ))
Mai dropped the lotus tile before quickly snatching it up before it hit the ground. "Don't worry, Iroh, if he tries anything then he's dead." Mai declared as she sent an angry look towards Sokka, content to see the panic in his eyes.

"But umm...how are we supposed to even get off the island?" Sokka asked as his voice cracked while he changed the subject unsubtly.

((Oh better yet, get Katara, On Ji, and Zuko both into some embarrassing shipping situations. It'd be twice as funny with Katara hating Zuko right now.))

Iroh

Iroh chuckled at Mai's threat. Before the day was over, she was likely to have Sokka trained. "May I remind you that we got on this island by boat Sokka? Simply take the one we got here with." Iroh explained.

((It would be ten times more hilarious if either Sokka/Mai, or Katara/Zuko ran into each other or Suki/Aang doing something that would be very hard to explain. >>))


"Oh....yeah." Sokka remembered as he quickly wiped his nose and then rubbed his chin with the same hand.

"Smooth." Was all Mai said as she noted the small amount of snot on his chin.
"What, I have an itch...and it still wont go away." Sokka said as he continued to rub the area.
"Oh it's nothing, I just need to go get a few things that I'll be needing." Mai replied as she turned around with a vicious grin and walked up the path back to camp.

"Zuko really picked a weird one with her." Sokka said as soon as Mai was out of hearing.

((Oh yes, that would be hilarious. I vote the latter two, since it seems more possible as of right now. Of course, all three happening over the course of the RP would be three times as hilarious and great.))

"Perhaps, Sokka. But you have to admit, she is a great fighter. And...cute." Iroh admitted once he was sure Mai was out of earshot. He didn't want to say that when she was around. Otherwise, he'd be castrated later. Iroh turned to Piandao.

"Perhaps once this is all over, you can train Sokka in the way of the sword. I would imagine he could be a great student." Iroh said.

((Actually, add Iroph to the list of ships we'll need, and this would be the shipping thread come to life. Though it would probably destroy the RP forum if that ever came to life in any RP. Hey, I said Iroph and nothing--

((Iroph will be easy to do if we just sent Toph to Ba Sing Se to help Iroh or something. (If anyone was wondering that was evil universe destruction plotting laughter. ))


Sokka's anger and confusion immediately disappeared after he heard Iroh's suggestion, badly trying to contain his desperate enthusiasm for Piandao to teach him.

"Well...We'll see how this all plays out first." Piandao said with a sigh after looking over the boy, rather disturbed to still see the snot on Sokka's chin.

"Oh yeah, right, right...of course Master Piandao." Sokka said as he gave a quick and clumsy bow to the man. "I should probably go get my stuff too, the sooner we leave, the sooner we can find and inform Aang of the Old White Lotus' plans." Sokka said before he turned and gave another, even faster and more clumsy bow to Iroh.

(No I'm not Piandao, but I figured since no one was I might as well just have him reply quickly.)

((It's alright. For the few characters that haven't been taken now, we can just power-play them all. While I haven't posted with Azula much, I have taken over for Ty Lee when I play her, since no one took Ty Lee.))

"Go on ahead, Sokka. Oh, and I'd wipe that snot off your chin." Iroh advised, not willing to take the sight of that anymore. He was glad Piandao would consider to train Sokka, once this was all over and the war was over for good. The boy needed to be trained as a warrior. Rather badly, actually. Iroh had seen Sokka swing his club. He....hadn't been impressed.

"What!?" Sokka asked as his voice cracked again while he quickly wiped the gunk away. "How long has it been there, .....Mai was laughing at me about this wasn't she?" Sokka realized slowly as he walked away from the masters, not noticing Pakku's smirk or Piandao's look of pleading towards Iroh.

"No Piandao, you have to train you. I inist. I know that Sokka can make a great swordsman, with the proper help. Besides, you're the best swordsmen in the entire world. Sokka deserves to learn under the best." Iroh stated.

Bumi arrived at where Iroh and the others where.

“Sorry I’m a little late but I just couldn’t find my genomite! I hid it so no one could find it, but I hid it too well and I couldn’t even find it. Then I realized, I never hid it! It was always in my pocket!” he laughed really hard after he said that.

“What did I miss?” his eyes opened wide as he asked the question.

"I agree with Iroh, my grandson will make a fine swordsman if you just give him time." Pakku said with a small smile as he glanced at Piandao.

"Well fine then, if you are all so determined to have him join the order, then I shall teach him as best as I can." Piandao replied as he guessed Iroh's intentions for Sokka right as Bumi arrived.

"We're sending out the kids to spread the word that Ba Sing Se is being attacked next month." Pakku answered Bumi's question after hearing the crazy man babble about some genomite.

"Yeah." Mai replied to Sokka as they looked at all of their things pakced up into two nice bags.

"Well then lets get out of here." Mai decided as she picked up her bag and began to leave the camp.
"Wait, shouldn't we just spend the night here and leave tomorrow?" Sokka asked as he looked at his bag hesitantly.
"Why should we? It's still light out and we need to move as quickly as possible, there is a war going on after all." Mai answered in a condescending tone.

"I know there's a war going on Mai." Sokka answered bitterly as he followed her down the path where they shortly saw Iroh again.

"Well we're ready." Mai informed the wise old man.

(*gasp* You guys are discussing Zutara in my rpg? Ok it was mention but still. As the owner of this rpg you should all know Toko will be canon, but I guess Zutara would be fine for a while. But Toko wins. XD)

On Ji looked back into the fire. So Zuko wasn't as strong as before? That was bad. And although Katara seemed strong, would she be able to really bring Azula down.

"It's not enough," she said. "Azula can't just be beaten. We have to make sure she can't cause any more trouble. She's too much of a threat. She killed Fire Lord Ozai."

She didn't look at them. She didn't want to say that either. But someone had to. And On Ji felt it fell on her. She knew Azula the least. But it still felt wrong to her.

"Some girl back when I was being taught. And sometimes during a celebration with the Freedom Fights," he confessed. It was hard. Knowing that the Freedom Fighters were gone too. He knew it was his fault and that just made it worse.

(I realize I'm playing On Ji differently in the rpgs I have her in. Weird...)

(Well we've been playing with almost every ship but Zucest, Kacest and Iroph....and it's not for lack of trying that those ships haven't happened yet. xD)

"You're right, killing her is the only thing we can do to make sure she can't bring more suffering to others." Katara said as she sat down next to On Ji, wishing that Sokka or Aang weretheir with her.

"But while we might, or might not, be able to take Azula down ourselves....we couldn't get past her guards. She has the Dai lee, imperial firebenders, and Ty lee...." Zuko admitted as he took a seat next to On Ji as well. "And that's only in the palace, there would still be more soldiers on our way there. We can't do this just the three of us."


"So we need to find the others and get their help?" Katara asked, ready to leave the north pole if it meant she could find someone familiar to her.

"Yes, and we have to do it before the comet." Zuko replied as he decided not to go into further detail then that.

(Well Iroph made the shipping theard explode. I wonder what it would do to this one. XD)

"She looked from Zuko to Katara. She didn't know the gaang at all. But she did think that the adults would be help.

"Do you know what happened to your friends," she asked quietly.

(Would we dare risk it?)

Katara's face fell for a second and it look like she wanted to cry. "No, I'm not sure where they are." The girl said as she looked at the room around her. "But I know they aren't here. Leaving is our best option I believe." Katara said as she stood up, preparing herself to begin packing.

On Ji nodded. She was a bit glad to leave the place. She was getting tired of the cold.

"Where should we go?"

Iroh

"Great! Now, you two need to be careful on your journey. Azula's men are everywhere. And don't think she wouldn't have posted a bounty on you, Mai. Be careful, and whatever you do do not get captured. By the way....if you happen to run into a man named Mochu, and he claims that I owe him money ah....tell him to put it on my tap. That, or let Sokka pay for it." Iroh said. He drew the both of them into a hug before letting them go.

"You two best be careful on your journey. Until we meet again at Ba Sing Se, farewell. Make me proud."

Jin

"Oh. Ah, sorry to bring up old memories. How about we just forget about anything we may have remembered during this, and keep dancing?" Jin suggested. She didn't want to make Jet feel bad about his old friends.

((I'm not a fan of Zutara myself, but I'd love to see the hijinks Zuko and Katara could have. Especially with her hating him right now, it'd be twice as funny.))

Jet nodded. "It's ok and thanks. It would be better not to bring them up."

The song changed and the band began to play a faster song. Jet frowned. It sounded strangely like the cha cha, but no way was he going to dance that with Jin.

"Um...let's keep dancing like this," he said. "Unless you have the urge to dance something else?"

(I'm not a fan of Zutara either, but like you said Magus they hate each other but they're forced to work together. That's just too muc potential for craziness. On Ji can be the voice of reason in their group.)


Katara looked at Zuko waiting for an answer. "Your the one who kept hunting him down, what should we do?"

"What? Your his girlfriend, shouldn't you know?"
"I am not his girlfriend, I am his best friend. And who even knows if Aang is alive?" Katara pointed out before she went silent for a second.

"Ok then....we'll find the earthbender."
"Toph."
"Yeah we'll find Toph first and then move on from there."

"We will Iroh." Mai replied, surprisingly non-sarcastically or apathetically for once.
"We'll see you at Ba Sing Se then." Sokka said, now eager to go and finish his long mission. "Good luck sir." He told Iroh before picking up his bags and heading for the boat.

"So.....you want us to pay your debts?" Mai asked with a hint of sarcasm before she began to follow Sokka. "Is that why your really sending us out!?" The girl added, now actually in a decent mood.

(Yeah. On Ji is the voice of reason.)

"Ok then let's pack," she told Zuko. "Hopefully mother isn't home. I have no idea what to say if she sees us packing."

Jin

"No thank you. What we're doing right now is fine." Jin answered. Hm, Jet really was a great dancer. Whoever his future wife would be would sure be lucky. Or Haru, if Suki was right. She couldn't help but feel a little jealous. Ah, of course it meant nothing.

Iroh

"Maybe," Iroh admitted, chuckling. He waved the two off as they walked away.

"Oh and Mai, if you happen to run into Zuko while you're gone, remind him that I'm expecting grandnieces and nepews from the two of you!"

((Ah, I love playing Iroh.))

"So can I ask why you decided to join us," Jet asked. He knew that Haru joined Toph because he was all gung-ho about freeing the Earth Kingdom like his father and he joined because he wanted to take down the Fire Nation. But he didn't really know why Jin came. Or if he did, he didn't remember.

"Hey Mai, come on!" Sokka shouted from the boat impatiently.

"Yeah, I'll make sure he..." Mai said as she ran to leave, hoping that Iroh didn't notice her blush. "Why does he always get the last laugh, how does he?" The warrior wondered as she jumped on the boat and helped Sokka get it out into the water.

"Ok then, you two come back here in about ten hours with all of your stuff that you are willing to carry, I'll get us some food and a boat that we can take." Katara said as she tried to remember how much money Pakku had saved up.

"And On Ji? Don't let your brother out of your sight."

Iroh

Iroh chuckled as the two pushed the boat into the water. He had indeed noticed Mai's blush. Zuko was going to be a very happy man with Mai. So he hoped. Ah, he couldn't wait for the time they had children. Considering their mother and father they'd be like.....

......Iroh paled at that thought. He tried to shake off that frightening mental image and turned to his comrades.

"So, what now? Where should we go?"

Jin

"Well, my main reason is because I want to free Ba Sing Se from the Fire Nation. I don't want my friends to suffer there, or my father." Jin replied.

((I'm tempted to have Koko ask Haru if he wants to dance.))

(But I killed her. I can bring her back to life if you want. XD)

"And would I count as one of your friends," Jet asked. He understood Jin's reason. It was similar to Haru's.

(But can zombies dance?)

Mai threw her bag into the back of the boat and sat down, knowing it would be at least three days before they would make it to the Earth Kingdoms. "Well this is certainly going to be fun." She mumbled sarcastically.

"Well with the children going to inform the Lotus members in the Earth Kingdoms, I suppose our time would be better spent strategizing and gathering Old white lotus members in the Fire Nation and it's colonies." Pakku stated his opinion.
