Book 2.5: The Great Fights (Teen) {Open/Spots still open}

Azula stood up and addressed the crowd. "Greetings, my loyal subjects. I am looking for the Avatar and his companions. I have information that they are here, right in this very room."

Aang grimaced as he heard Azula's familiar voice. He turned to the others, "We should go."
"No kidding," Teo murmured.

Toph muttered something under her breath. Of course this had to happen to them. They could never be safe until the Fire Nation was stopped, or at least until Azula was. With Zuko on the throne, hopefully things would get better.

On Ji was scared and grabbed onto Zuko's arm. She didn't want anything to happen to them and seeing the play made her feel ever worse.

"We should go."

"But we shouldn't attract attention," Haru suggested, nervous too. Jet sighed shaking his head. He was feeling the same way as Toph.

Zuko gripped back onto On Ji's hand before standing up and looking out at his Sister, feeling conflicted about the whole idea of leaving. But as the Prince looked down at his younger step-sister he decided that fighting with her here wasn't a good idea right now. "Come on." He whispered to On ji before turning around and walking out of the booth, seeing Mai standing right to the right of their exit.

Mai was holding a rather long knife in her right hand, tapping the cold metal object against her chin until finally letting her arm hang down beside her. "I take it we're finally leaving now?" She asked, sounding as though she were bored with the current situation.

"Yeah, we're leaving." Katara replied as she walked out of the booth with Aang, sounding rather annoyed with Mai's attitude, though the waterbender tried not to start a fight so as not to gain any attention.

"I'm afraid none of you can leave," Ty Lin stated. He walked toward them, five Fire Nation soldiers flanking him.

"Ah, I do believe some of us haven't met. I am Ty Lin, the Avatar's former firebending teacher. Hmph, you were a fool to trust me Aang. Really now, you believe I would betray my Empire at the height of its power? You're more naive than I thought." Ty Lin stated with a smirk. Suki narrowed her eyes and withdrew her hidden fans.

The man with the strange eye symbol on his forehead walked from the shadows and joined Ty Lin.

((Hope none of you mind this. I had been thinking about doing this for awhile, especially now that Ty Lin isn't needed.))

"Traitor," Teo growled.
Aang took an airbending stance and sent a gust of air at the firebender.

Zuko pushed On Ji back lightly as he glared at the rather annoying man before them, taking a firebending stance as he prepared himself for a fight.

Sokka looked at everyone in the room before lightly slapping himself in the face as he realized he hadn't brought his club or boomerang with him and was thus useless in this fight. But the watertribe warrior found himself smiling when he turned and noticed that Mai was still standing near the exit to the stairs, currently unnoticed it would seem.

Katara quickly took the top off of her water skin and let the liquid flow out slowly, "Sokka, take Toph, On Ji, and Teo and get out of here." She ordered her brother calmly as she held the water around her still.

"Katara don't baby me," Toph complained, getting ready to fight. "I may be a blind little girl, but I can still fight."

Haru and Jet got ready to fight too. Jet drew his swords and cursed at himself. He knew that anyone from the Fire Nation couldn't be trusted. Well except for maybe Zuko, Mai and On Ji. They seemed ok for now.

Haru was a bit mad too and got ready to bend. "Toph just go."

On Ji was frighten now. She did love her country like his man, but she didn't like hurting others. She pulled on Toph's arm and the blind girl finally gave in.

Rao saw the commotion below and made her way towards it. She knew they probably didn't need her help, but it never hurt to be safe.

Katara groaned after hearing Toph's complaint. "It's not that Toph, it's just that I don't actually see any earth around here so unless you decided to bring some yourself, I don't think you'll be much more useful then Sokka...." The waterbender pointed out before letting the sentence drift off as she realized that she had just insulted her brother.

"Wha! I am not useless, it's just-"

"Shut up and get out of here Sokka!" Katara ordered again before sighing in relief as she heard her grumbling Brother turn around and leave.

Mai bit her tongue as she tried to stay quiet, resisting the urge to taunt Sokka. As the Knife thrower tried to ignore her companion she allowed four knives in her sleeve to fall into her two hands as she mentally noted where she would have to hit each of the four soldiers that had followed the obnoxious firebender who was leading them. And then when she was sure that she wouldn't miss, the Knife thrower quickly threw all four blades at the soldiers behind Ty Lin, smirking while doing so.

Toph and On Ji followed Sokka. Toph was mad that she couldn't help the others, but what Katara said was true. On Ji was worried about her older half-brother and the others. She didn't want them to get hurt and felt bad that she couldn't help.

Haru decided to go too. He also wasn't going to be much help without earth. But as he turned to follow them, Rao stepped in front of him.

"You aren't going anywhere pretty boy." Rao started to firebend. Haru bit his lip and dodged her attacks. It seemed he was going to remain behind.

"I hate being crippled sometimes," Teo complained as he followed Toph and Sokka, "I want to fight!"

Seeing as she wouldn't be any help at all without her sword, Jin quickly followed Toph and Sokka. She hated not being able to help, but it couldn't be helped.

Once Mai took down the soldiers Suki burst into action. She leapt toward Ty Lin and aimed a kick at his jaw. The traitor swiftly dodge and grabbed her outstreched leg, and threw her toward the wall. The Kyoshi Warrior grimaced as she hit the wall. She immediately got up and charged at Ty Lin.

"Ah, so my informate was right. It seems spies really do pay off these days." Azula commented as she appeared, Ty Lee in tow.

Sokka

"I know how you feel, we'll just have to help in other ways." Sokka replied to Teo as he ran down into the lobby. "Now where did you guys leave Appa, he can't be too far away, right?" He asked as he tried to come up with a plan to help the others.

Mai

"Crap." Was the first thing Mai thought as she saw Azula and Ty lee arrive onto the scene. After scanning the area quickly, Mai took a step back, deciding that she didn't want to confront either of them at this time.

"I'll go help the others, Agni knows they'll need it." She informed the group before turning around and running down the stairs.

Katara

Katara quickly spun around and saw another Firebender who was sneaking onto the battle who was now trying to attack Haru. With a quick flick of her wrist, Katara lashed out a water whip and tried to wrap it around the girl's arm.

Zuko

"Azula." Zuko muttered, feeling himself get angry just at the sight of his Sister.
Instead of waiting for his Sister to say something else and rile him up even more, Zuko copied Mai's style and instead attacked his Sister first. Taking in a deep breath Zuko quickly turned around to face Azula, quickly releasing a small weak spurt of fire that didn't even get close to burning Azula. "What was that?" Zuko asked, rather startled to see how weak his firebending was.

"Get angry!" Aang shouted as he stomped on the ground, rocking the earth beneath Azula, "You're always angry when you used to attack me."

On Ji looked at Toph, who took the lead since she knew where Appa was.

"I hope the others will be ok," she said. Toph nodded and kept going. Chances were they might be followed and that wouldn't be good.

Rao was about to attack Haru again when water wrapped around her wrist. This caused her to go off balance and Haru took this chance to kick her in the stomach. She let out an oopmh and hit the floor.

"Thanks Katara," Haru said quickly. Rao tried to stand, but Jet joined in and pushed her down. Rao, not going to let them best her, grabbed Jet's ankle and pulled him down.

Azula jumpd into the air and avoided the attack sent by Aang, She landed not too far away from Zuko.

"What's wrong now Zuzu? Can't firebend properly anymore? Well, this should make this all the more easier." Azula sent a barrage of blue flame at her brother.

Ty Lee and Suki began to engage in combat. The acrobat did her best to disable her opponent quickly, but Suki seemed to have gotten better since their last encounter.

(I can't have Jetaru in The Azula rpg. So I'm bringing this one back to lif because I can have it here. XD)

Jet tried to kick Rao off of him, but she had a strong grip. Haru stepped on her hand hard, causing both Jet and Rao to cry out. Rao let go of Jet and Haru helped him up. Jet glared at Haru.

"Why did you do that?!"

"I was helping you! Spirits know why?"

Jet was about to say something, but Rao was back on her feet. She passed Jet and Haru making her way towards the fleeing group. She couldn't let them escape. Haru followed her and Jet remained behind.

He saw that Suki needed help and came at Ty Lin swords reach to lash out.

Aang frowned and sent a gust of air at Azula, "You love to hear yourself talk, don't you?"
With that said, he sent a couple of boulders at her, knowing that he'd have to do better to defeat the Fire Princess.

Sokka/Mai

"Don't worry, they'll be fine. We wouldn't have left them if we weren't sure that they were going to be safe after all, and we don't have time to think about them when we're in danger too." He reminded On Ji, trying to keep the young girl from worrying too much so she wouldn't become a hindrance.

"Toph, are you sure that you know where you're going!?" Sokka shouted to his friend before looking behind himself for a second, only to see that one of the soldiers had escaped the group and was coming right after them.

[/i/ The blade screamed as it flew threw the air towards Rao's neck.

Zuko

Zuko quickly dodged the stream of fire that Azula had launched towards him, barely avoiding the flames as they hit the floor behind him, leaving a giant hole in it that went to the room below. "I don't know if I could be any more angry at this point!" Zuko shouted back at Aang before trying to launch another fireball at Azula, this time having a slightly greater flame, but still an ultimately disappointing one.

Rao tried to dodge the blade, but Haru had grabbed onto her, causing the sword to slash one of her arms. She screamed, shoving Haru away. Haru grabbed the sword, facing Rao and nodded at the group telling them to go.

On Ji silently wished Haru good luck before turning away. If she kept looking back she would never be able to go.

"I know. I just don't want to lose my family again."

Toph already knew they were close to the exit and she nodded.

"Of course I do. I may be blind, but I'm not forgetful."

Azula

Azula swiftly dodged the gust of air the Avatar sent at her, and the boulders that followed. Her eyes quickly evaluated the situation. The Fire Lord reached a decision. "Rao, Ty Lee, Ty Lin, we are retreating!"

"Damn it. What is she planning now?" Aang muttered as he sent a couple more boulders at the Fire Lord. He looked over at Zuko, "What usually makes your blasts deadly?"

Rao kicked out at Haru sending a wave of fire after it and it hit Haru square in the chest. He was flung backwards hitting a seat. She heard Azula's words and seeing that the boy was no longer an issue, proceeded to retreat.

Jet saw what happened to Haru, assumed that since the firebenders were retreating that Suki could handle herself, made his way over to him.

"Haru you ok?"

Haru coughed and struggled to stand. It was clear he was in pain. But he nodded. Jet not all the way believing him took Haru by the arm and the pair began to follow the others leaving.

Zuko/Mai/Katara

"Anger, passion. Or at least that's what I thought before. Obviously that's not true as otherwise my attacks would have actually done something!" Zuko stated in frustration as he looked over towards the Avatar.

"So I guess we're just going to stand here as Azula runs away to get more people so she can kill us?" Mai asked in a bored tone of voice as she walked past Jet and Haru, Katara running past her as she made her way towards Haru. "Is anything broken?" She asked, ready to heal Haru if she had to.

"That girl kicked in a couple of ribs," Haru admitted. "But I don't think she did any real damage."

Jet frowned at Mai and decided against saying anything. He didn't want to start a fight with her. After all they were on the same side.

"I think we know now that taking out Azula is going to be hard."
