Book 2.5: The Great Fights (Teen) {Open/Spots still open}

(Maybe they could accidentally end up in a Fire Nation Ball.)

(Sounds fun. Not only do they(excluding Ty Lin) not know what to do at a Fire Nation ball, but dances are awkward like I said before.)

As they landed, Jet noticed something. He turned to Toph to comfirm what he notice.

"Do you hear music?"

"And yelling and what feels like music? Why yes I do Jet."

Haru raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Since when does the Fire Nation throw parties?"

"Maybe they're celebrating a death," Jet replied grimly. Toph his him over the head. "Ow."

"I'm sure they don't celebrate deaths Jet. But it does feel like a party of some sort. But not as wild as an Earth Kingdom one is. Or at least the ones I've been to."

"Cool," Teo said with a grin as he saw someone blow a stream of fire from his mouth. He had to admit that was impressive.
Aang turned to Jet, "You're not going to go crazy here, are you?"

((Hehehehe...hm, five guys and three girls right now. In the gaang. Well, that will make things interesting...))

"Well, maybe we should investigate? It'd also be smart to hid Appa since we don't want to be found out." Suki suggested. Jin nodded in agreement. At that statement, Ty Lin lead the bison to hid behind a series of giant boulders, so he could not be seen.

Jet shook his head.

"Not with my leg. Now if I was fully healed-"

Toph hit him across the head again and turned to Ty Lin. "Do you still have the Fire Nation clothes? It would be best if we changed into them.

(Well Ty Lin doesn't count. He has no ship as of now.)

((True.....let's ship him with random girl #498294857211!))

"Yes, I do. We can take turns changing behind the boulders. With the clothes, we should better fit in. Oh and Avatar, you need to wear a hat. Luckily, I have one that should fit you." Ty Lin said, pulling out several stacks of clothes.

(Or Toph. She seems closest to him. So that means Aang and Teo are stuck dancing with eachother. XD But toko still be canon or you all feel my wrath.)

Toph got changed quickly and stood by a stall. She could smell the food coming from it and while the owner had his back turn, she swipe a bun of some kind.

Jet changed trying not to yell as he put on his pants. His wound was healing, but it still hurt to have the pants rubbed against it.

Haru changed next with no problem. He then looked around feeling out of place still.

Suki and Jin changed with no trouble. Both were soon in Fire Nation clothes, as was now Ty Lin. They were ready to go check out the party. All they were waiting for was Aang and Teo (if Teo could join).

((True. Hmm...an interesting idea. Too bad Ty Lin's much older than Toph.))

Soon, after a few minutes of changing (not together), both Aang and and teo were dressed in Fire Nation outfits. Teo rolled his new wheelchair over to Toph and Ty Lin, "What now?"

Mai and Sokka

Mai and Sokka both waited a few yards behind Iroh, both looking like depressed and bored teenagers as they followed him with the exception that Sokka also kept poking Mai and whispering about all the people that kept arriving.

"I get it Sokka, your well traveled, now could you please just shut up? I don't care if you've met every old person in the world." Mai asked sarcastically as she looked down at the beach.

"Fine I'll shut up for you then." Sokka replied in a frustrated tone as he walked faster to catch up to Iroh. "Gloomy knife *****." He mumbled to himself.

Katara and Zuko
(So just so I can be sure, Katara hasn't forgiven Zuko yet....has she?)


"Of course, make yourself at home." Katara replied politely to On Ji as she let the girl in. "You can stay out here Zuko." The waterbender finished as she slammed the door in the prince's face.

"Sorry about the mess....Pakku left a few days ago so it's just been me here and I-"
"You can't just leave me out here?!" Zuko asked loudly as he tried to open the doors.

"Yes I can!"

(Well she's willing to work with him, but she hasn't completely forgiven him or trusts him yet.)

On Ji giggled. She found it funny that Katara slammed the door on Zuko and she was grateful that Katara didn't dislike her after finding out she's Zuko's half sister.

"It's ok. Mother(Ursa) hasn't been around much either. I think she's trying to contact Uncle Iroh."

She sat down by the fire and stared at it. She felt both warmed, but also sad. Her people were causing a problem. And the only way to help fix it was to take out her half-sister Azula.

"What are we going to do," she asked Katara softly.

"Well we can dance," Haru suggested, getting ready to be attacked. But Jet and Toph nodded.

"I feel like some fun after that fight. And besides I never been to something like this." She then realize everyone had dates and frowned. "Of course I don't want to dance with anyone of you."

Jet looked at the couples, then to the group. "I am not doing this."

((Hmm, now who can Suki and Jin end up dancing with? Hehehe.))

Iroh

"Pakku, Piandao, Bumi, and Jeong Jeong. It is great to see you all again." Iroh said, happy to see all of his friends again.

Suki and Co.

"I'm not either. I wouldn't want to dance with any of you guys if someone payed me." Suki protested, looking at how most of the dancers seemed to be split into couples. Well, that was just great. And embarrassing.

Jin had similar thoughts as Suki. No way was she going to dance with any of the boys. Especially consider the fact that she had kissed both Haru and Jet. It would kinda make things awkward.

Toph sighed. God they were all being wimps. She didn't like dancing, but she wasn't going to let that stop her. She grabbed Aang by the sleeve and dragged him to the dance floor(if that's ok).

"So Twinkle Toes do you know how to dance?"

Jet just watched and looked at the two remaining females. He wasn't sure he wanted to dance with either one, but he didn't feel like being a wallflower.

"So...Jin...Suki...Haru...you guys going to dance too?"

((If it's possible, I'd like to have Suki and Aang end up dancing.))

"Ah....well...if any of you want to." Suki said. Her face began to grow red. Dang it, she shouldn't be embarrassed! It was only a simple, little dance. It meant nothing. Nothing whatsoever. Nothing at all.

"So ah, Jet...do you want to dance?" Jin asked.

Mai/Sokka/Pakku


"Hello sirs." Sokka said as he bowed and greeted Piandao, Pakku, Jeong Jeong and Bumi.

"It's good to see that you've been well taken care of Sokka, your sister had been worried sick thinking that she lost you as well." Pakku said as he greeted the boy.

Katara/Zuko


"Hope, we'll just have to hope that Iroh and the other masters can think of a way to take the Earth Kingdom.....while we plan to take care of Azula of course." Katara added as she tried to sound confident for On Ji's sake.

"You can come in now." Katara said bitterly as she opened the door to see Zuko leaning his back against it, only to fall in now.

"Thank you." He replied.

(OOC: I don't mind.)
Aang blushed, but grinned, "Of course. I even know some Fire Nation dances. Want me to show you?"
Teo shook his head, "Damn. He goes from girl to go. From Katara, to Suki, and now to Toph." He grinned at Haru, "Ask Jet to dance, man."
(OOC: We can switch in the middle of a dance or something.)

On Ji nodded. Even though she didn't know Azula well, she still couldn't feel right about this. About ki-getting rid of Azula.

"But how are we going to do that? Should we just make it so she can't be a problem, like lock her up?"

Toph could feel something and smirked. Yeah she was right. She moved away from Aang and bended Suki over to him.

"Have fun!"

Jet looked at Jin and nodded. "Sure I would lo-ok."

He made his way to the dance floor, his face getting hot. He could take on the Fire Nation, but dancing with a girl was a whole new level of scary.

Haru stood there awkwardly and looked at Toph. "Want to dance?"

"No," she replied and stood by Teo, who she knew wasn't going to dance. Or if he was then it would be pretty weird.

(Or Toph can do that. XD)

Aang yelped in surprise as he was tossed over to Suki. Awkwardly, he adjusted his hands on her, hoping she didn't notice he touched her but for a moment.
Teo merely laughed at the sight before looking away. He always wanted to dance, but his wheelchair always prevented it. He wished he could find some way to dance.

(Then they can switch in the middle, so Jet/Haru and Suki/Jin end up dancing. XD)

Haru frowned and asked some random girl to dance. He kept his eyes on Aang and Suki and Jet and Jin. He felt even more out of place. But he wasn't going to demand one of them dance with him. Besides the girl was a cutie. So it wasn't that bad.

Toph looked at Ty Lin. "So are you going to dance? I might later. But I'm going to win my bet first."

((Toph ought to be more careful bending....you know, Fire Nation dance in all.))

Suki and Jin

Suki gasped in surprised as Aang as suddenly over to her. She glared at him for a moment when she felt him touch something he shouldn't. Suki began to lead Aang in the dance. Well, this was certainly different. To tell the truth, she'd never danced with a boy before. It was...a new experience. But ah, it didn't mean anything at all to her. No, nothing. Aang was just a friend. Nothing more.

Jin blushed and followed Jet to the dance floor. She froze as soon as she got on the floor. "To tell you the truth Jet, I ah...don't really know how to dance." she confessed.

"Oh? And how will you do that?" Ty Lin asked.

Iroh

"Tell me Pakku, has the Order received any word on the whereabouts of the Avatar?" Iroh asked. He had been separated from his contacts far too long, so he had no idea what new information the Order had.

"Just watch. I know I'm right."

Jet smirked and helped her place her hands correctly. "Well then it's good that the male usually leads," he told her. Then he began to lead her in a slow waltz type dance.

Aang blushed, following Suki's lead. He knew that Sokka would be screaming at him about males having to do the leading, but he was a bit scared of Suki at the moment.
Teo grinned when he suddenly had an Idea, "Hey, Toph. Want to dance with me?"

"Unfortunately we have no idea where the Avatar is at the moment. The last anyone ever saw of him was at Kyoshi Island, but as you might already know they couldn't stay there for long." Pakku finished darkly.

"Then he's with Suki, don't worry Iroh, she'll keep him safe." Sokka said as he ignored the last part of Pakku's explanation, just feeling glad that at least his sister, his girlfriend and his hope were still alive.

Katara/Zuko

"Well On Ji the thing is-"
"We can't lock her up because she'll just escape by using her firebending. She could melt the bars, kill a guard... or do anything that might pop into her head to save herself." Zuko cut Katara off as he informed his sister.

"He's right." The waterbender agreed weakly, glad that she didn't have to completely explain everything to On Ji herself.

((I agree with that pageclaim. Gott in helm! This is like the shipping thread on ASN! Kinda. Just realized that connection.))

Iroh

"I see. Well, wherever young Aang is, I am sure he is fine. However, we cannot wait for the Avatar to resurface. We must start making plans. The day of Sozin's Comet will soon be upon us. We must take the Earth Kingdom back on that day." Iroh declared.

Suki and Jin

Jin awkwardly began to follow Jet in the dance, blushing like a schoolgirl. This was new. She had never danced with someone outside of her family. It was...nice. It was nice to relax (somewhat) since that battle earlier. And Jet was a surprisingly good dancer.

((Before I post with Suki, I have an interesting idea. Perhaps Aang and Suki could end up doing a version of the Kataango? The dance from The Headband?))

(That sounds awesome.)
