| (Then we shall time-skip.)
Nebi yawned as he opened his eyes, groaning a little at how stiff his back felt. He had long since fallen asleep on the floor and he was stretching to regain feeling in his back. He sighed and approached Nix, shaking him.
"Time to get up," he stated.

| Carlisle
Carlisle breathed out slowly, a puff of what looked like fog coming out of his mouth. There was snow everywhere outside of the small cave they were in, and there was still more coming down as it dropped out of the sky. "I suppose that it's good we stayed in a cave last night...." He realized.
Carlisle and Mab had been traveling together for three weeks now, walking through the mountain range that had started north of the Capital every day. Luckily for Carlisle, their conversations that had happened during their first day of travel hadn't been brought up at all. ...Actually, there had been almost no talking between Carlisl and Mab throughout the entire trip. Which was admittedly, Carlisle's fault.
Though on the bright side they were finally in the Lymarck Province. And by Carlisle's estimations they would be in the city of Marc within four days maximum. And by the end of the day they would be out of the mountain range and into the actual forests of Lymarck. Even with the snow they would now have to work through. Unfortunately this also meant that there would be no more caves to stay the night in, which had been a real help when the Temperature had dropped.
Carlisle sighed quietly to himself before he turned around and looked at Mab. "Well... are you ready to go?" ---------------------------------------- Kegan/Brighe
"Well, isn't this a nice surprise." Brighe stated as she saw Kegan walk out of the back of the Carriage. "Come on, you can help me get the horses set up so we can go." Brighe ordered her Nephew.
"Sure..." Kegan replied rather sleepily. Rein, him, and Atiya had all slept in the carriage for the night once again while the others had slept outside.
The traveling had been easy due to the warm weather, especially after they had gotten past the Lharnon Cliffs. There had been little rain, and they had only see seven other people out on the road. It easier the Brighe could have hoped. But now that they were entering the Hogof Province, the Elf supposed that things would get more difficult due to the jump in population. ------------------------------------------ Savina
Savina looked over their old camp grounds one last time before continuing on. They were continuing to head south in their search for Heir Nebi, but Savina had found no more signs or had any more visions that could have indicated where he was. She did know that one of the citizens they had walked by was going to die while walking across an old bridge and yelling he wasn't too fat for it. But that didn't really help anyone, she realized.
On the bright side she had successfully managed to avoid being alone with Maul since the night she had over heard him and he had almost killed her. Though she had to admit it was becoming increasingly difficult. But even so, she still hadn't told anyone about how Maul's loyalties to the Empire had changed. And by now, she knew she wasn't going to. ------------------------------------------- Senka/Katie
Senka sat alone near a large river that the group had been traveling down since a week ago. She had never found Annakpok, even after searching the forest they were in for three days. So they were back to looking for Heir Driscoll, on their way to the village of Castor. Of course the town was still months away.
Meanwhile, Katie was on the other side of the camp, with C.C. and Nell packing up before they moved out for the day. Things were slightly awkward around C.C. and Nell, after what Katie had done three weeks prior, but she didn't mind. It was easier then being teased constantly.
"So, I think that's everything." Katie told C.C. as she finished rolling up their tent.

| Rein, Atiya, Syrien
"Right..." Rein muttered groggily, holding an equally sleepy Atiya in her arms.
"Where are we, Daddy?" Atiya asked, rubbing a small hand over her half-closed eyes.
C.C.
"Right. I guess we can go now." C.C. said, glancing at Nell for a moment. Things had been somewhat awkward between them since....The Incident That Must Not Be Named. Things had been getting a little better, though. C.C. did have the suspicion that Katie was somehow behind the incident, but she had no proof. So far.
Maul
Maul walked with his group as they continued on to their next location. Three long weeks had passed, and they had not met Heir Nebi yet. They hadn't even found any possible clues to his location, either, which made this even more difficult. As much as Maul hated to admit it, they were just wandering around now. He had no idea where Nebi could be headed, since they had already eliminated all the likely areas. It was unlikely they'd find him now, though there was still some hope left. While Savina hadn't had any visions recently, Maul was hoping that she would have another one soon that would pinpoint Nebi's location.
She had a vision they would fight him, before, after all, so Maul only knew it was inevitable they'd find Nebi. The question was, though, when it would be. And, thankfully, Savina was keeping her mouth shut about what she had overheard. For that, Maul was grateful to her. If possible, he did not want to kill her.

| Rhys
"Well can I see you again?"
"No." Rhys replied before quickly shutting the door in the other man's face. The Captain sighed loudly as he walked back to the bed and sat down.
It had been twenty-three days since the two teams that Empress Tsuba had constructed were sent out. Ten days ago, Rhys had had to construct three more teams that were sent out to search for Heirs as well. Though the Captain knew that at one of them was staying in the city, searching every district just in case the Heirs and Prisoners had stayed here. The Empress was getting a little desperate, though of course no one would say anything.
Rhys didn't really care about whether or not Kegan, Carlisle, Nebi, or Epiphany were captured and brought in. They weren't a threat to the people of Gaboria like Caesar was. And the Captain was positive that Caesar was back, with the list of massacres he had in his room back at the Castle. The Humage had been teleporting from spot to spot of the Empire, always looking for families or large caravans, and always trying to kill everyone he found afterward. The Monster needed to be stopped, and the sooner the better.
But Rhys didn't have time to think about it now. His room at the Inn would expire in forty minutes, plus he needed to get to the Castle before people began to wonder where their Captain was. So Rhys got off of the bed and began to put his clothes back on. "Hattbard!" The Captain swore as he looked down at his torn shirt. But with no other options, Rhys put the shirt on and quickly walked out of the room, and then eventually, the Inn as he made his way back to the Castle. -------------------------------------- Kegan
Kegan smiled as he looked at Atiya and Rein. "We're just in the middle of nowhere honey. You wait here while Daddy helps Aunt Brighe and I'll be back real soon." Kegan replied before walking away to get some of the work done. -------------------------------------- Grace
Grace was no longer confused as to why she had been arrested. Of course she had twenty-two days in a prison cell to figure it out, so it probably wasn't saying much.
The cell was cold, dark, and dirty. But what Grace loathed the most was that there wasn't much walking room in it, since she had two other people with her. She had tried to convince them to try and escape with her, try and do anything, really. But they had already given up. And Grace was beginning to realize that she should do the same. ---------------------------------------- Katie
"Great." Katie replied before flashing C.C. a smile as she picked up the bag that held the tent and putting it inside one of the supplies carriages.
"I'll grab the horses then." Katie offered before walking away, leaving C.C. and Nell alone together.

| Rein, Atiya
Atiya nodded and nestled in Rein's arms, trying to get back to sleep. Rein smiled at her daughter and kissed her on the forehead. Atiya giggled and opened one eye.
"Hey, Mommy, were you and Daddy making babies last night?" Atiya innocently asked. Rein blushed and shook her head.
"Uh, no, Atiya. Not at all. We were out....walking."
A pathetic excuse, really, but Atiya seemed to buy it, thankfully. Ever since Sten had suggested they 'had been making babies', Atiya had never let the idea go. Every time she and Kegan came back from someplace (sometimes just coming back from shopping or som other thing, instead of doing....that) Atiya would always ask that question. Rein had thought the little girl had been asleep when she and Kegan came back to camp last night, but they'd been wrong, apparently.

| Amarok had spent the night not far off from the camp. He had been waiting for the opportune moment to take the prisoner's lover away and back to Annak. The moment never arrived, and he had left Annak alone for the night. But he couldn't let it all be for nothing. The troops were about to move out, and he couldn't let the mage leave. He didn't want Annak to insist on flying if he wasn't ready. He had let his wound get too bad, before treating it. He had lost a lot of blood, and Amarok was sure that the mage could give him the strength to make it to the mountains, and be ready for an escape if necessary. Amarok had to move now. As the white dog he ran through the edge of the camp, and bumping into the Inu boy, and barking, hoping he wouldn't pick up Annak's scent on Amarok. He ran past the girl and sent her a message.
"You can follow me, or I can make it so that your friend does. But you must come now, and you must come quietly." he said, before dashing off back into the woods.

"I'll...be right back. I....have to go." C.C. knew that was a pathetic lie, but it was the best she could come up with at a moment's notice. She dashed off into the forest and began to follow the dog.

| Amarok slowed down as he realized that the mage was following, letting her catch up. "Hello mage. I thought your kind was almost extinct." Amarok commented, out loud, now that there were no prying eyes around. "What brings you into the forest?" he asked. | |

| C.C.
"I am the last of my kind. What I'm doing here doesn't matter. I assume you need my help for something?" C.C. asked Amarok, briefly glancing at him as they ran.

| Amarok made his best attempt at a grin. "You aren't a fan of small talk?" he asked rhetorically. He looked over at the mage, "There's a boy in the forest to whom I am sworn to protect. He was injured yesterday, and the fool didn't think to treat his wound, until he had already lost a lot of blood, and he gave it the chance to become infected." Amarok explained. "I searched you out mage, because I believe that you can help him, and in return, perhaps we can help you." he said, bluffing only slightly. Amarok and Annak didn't have much to offer, but they wouldn't be entirely useless to the mage. A spirit's teaching's could be a helpful bargaining tool, and there were all sorts of trinkets Annak could offer in exchange for her services. | |

C.C.
"So....how are you doing, Nell?" C.C. asked awkwardly, looking toward the Inu.

| Epiphany was being dragged through the dungeons, her arms held tightly behind her by two guards. Who knew Tsuba would send soldiers there too. Klute, the town Epiphany was going to be hiding, was visited by Gaborian soldiers in the middle of the night. Unfortunately, Epiphany was staying at an inn and they inspected inside for any Heirs. She managed to fight her way out of the inn, but got caught afterwards.
She and the guards stopped in front of a dungeon, a rather small one, with three other people inside. Amazons by the look of it. One of the guards opened the door and shoved her inside. It was quite small. Epiphany had to sit on the floor and sat next to Grace. Epiphany hadn't realized that her hood was off.
"It's the traitor!" One of the Amazons hissed.
"I guess that means who heard about it too didn't you." Epiphany kept her head low.

| Grace
Grace was brought out of her dazed thinking as she heard the door open up. What was going on? Were they letting them free? Or were they going to be executed? Or......it was another Prisoner.
Grace stood up as the other Amazonian was thrown into the cell. Grace was about to move forward and see if the Girl was alright when suddenly the other two Amazonians declared her to be a traitor.
Grace was very confused now. What could a Girl, an Amazonian, have possibly done when they hadn't even reached the age of twenty yet?
"What do you mean?" Grace asked as she looked at the other three in the cell.

| (Sorry guys. Forgot to say three weeks in my time-skip post.)
Nebi sighed as he walked through the forest. He, Nix, and Gaita had just barely escaped the notice of a group of Imperial soldiers the day before. For the past three weeks, they had been on the run as they searched for the rebels, having no success as Tsuba became more and more desperate.
"Damn it. I hate Tsuba," he muttered.

Sten regarded Kegan and Rein stoically. It had been weeks and they had yet to go in search of his sword in the Ka'Hirol plains. Qunari were taught to be patient, but Sten's was starting to run out.

| Nell was now alone with C.C., Katie off doing something else. He unlike the Mage didn't think Katie would do such a thing. Still the Inu couldn't be sure. he looked up at C.C., his tail swinging slowly as he thought about his answer.
"Fine. I like being out of the Castle." ---------- Mab nodded at Carlisle. She had been unusually quiet over the time they spent together. If Chris was here she would be laughing and saying how she couldn't understand how Carlisle got her to stop talking when she couldn't. The thought made Mab smiled softly to herself.
'Chris....' She was really beginning to miss her mentor and once only friend. Yes at this time she considered Carlisle a friend. A weird, distant one, but after traveling for three weeks, she couldn't think of another way to describe their relationsip. ----------- Sunny looked at Maul and shifted nervously. She knew that he had told no one of her true gender, but him knowing made her feel uncomfortable. But at the same time she was relieved that someone knew. At least now she had someone to turn to if she had to talk about it.
What made her the happiness right now was that she was sleeping alone. Sleeping with a guy would be awkward for her and with a girl would be awkward for both, so the oontinuation of solitude at night was also relieving.

"I'm fine Sir," she said loudly as if the volume of her voice would convince him or herself. She was not fine really. She missed being back at the Castle. At least there she knew where she should. Even if Rhys thought she was gay.

"Are you sure?" Maul asked. He could see Sunny was being troubled by something. Whatever it was, Maul needed her to be in a good state of mind. He couldn't have his people getting distracted by anything, after all.
C.C.
"Yes, it is a good change of pace. The last time I was out of the castle was around....two years ago." C.C. said, remembering the last challenge the Heirs had before Tsuba had taken control over the Empire.

| "I just feel a little uncomfortable around the others," Sunny admitted. "But don't worry, I am a professional soldier, so I'll be fine," Sunny told Maul. She wasn't going to let her nerves cause any mistakes. That was something she found unexceptable. So she took a deep breath and pushed her thoughts aside. ---------- "Do you ever wish you could just stay out here," Nell asked, talking more about himself than C.C. He liked open spaces more than closed ones. But he had no where to go if he left the Empire and so he stayed there working. It was all he knew after all. | |
