"Come on. I think Lily likes him back," Thomas commented with a grin, "She sure is nicer to him than she is to me."

She slapped Thomas on the shoulder.
"Shut up!" She exclaimed, giggling.

Taryn smirked at Lily and then exclaimed laughingly, "So it's true!" She looked from Lily to Hanyer with a crooked grin, "You two would make a cute couple."

"We can double-date," Thomas told Lily with a smirk, "And you won't be able to complain about me and Taryn making out all the time."

Hanyer blushed harder. "Come...come on guys. Stop it."

"Not until you admit it Hanyer. Come on I think you guys would be a good couple," Charlie said.

"Yeah, come on Hanyer. We're all friends here, no need to feel embarrassed," Taryn said, her tone slightly more gentle than before.

"Yeah," Thomas told him, taking a more serious tone, "Lily would be good for you. She'd build up your confidence."

Hanyer looked up at Lily, wondering what she would say. He didn't want to ask her out and then be turned down and he didn't want to embarrass her either.

Lily blushed and looked at her sneakers, she wasn't quite sure what to say, She knew that if Hanyer asked her out she would say yes, but she didn't want to force a decision.

"Oh my gods. Hanyer if you don't ask her out I will...do something," Charlie said. She didn't want to be forceful, but knowing Hanyer, she knew she had to be.

"O-ok. Lily...will...you....um....gooutwithme! I mean you don't have to and it's cool if you say no. I mean..um...a...."

Taryn looked away from Lily, trying her best not to make her feel awkward. And also trying her best not to laugh a little at how Hanyer's question had come out.

Thomas felt himself smile a little at Hanyer's shyness. Sure, he didn't like the guy when he first met him, but that was because he liked Taryn. Now, though, he knew he was a good guy. He looked over at Lily, waiting for her to accept.

"Absolutely!" She said, smiling at him.
"Now let's get out of the subway and have some fun."

Hanyer sighed in relief and smiled at Lily. Charlie "awwed" at them and nodded.

"Yeah. Before we have to deal with ferrying the dead around."

"Sounds good to me," Thomas said with a grin, "We deserve some fun before a hard night's work."

Taryn "awwed" along with Charlie, smiling. Then she nodded, "Sounds like a plan. Where to first?"

"Well, Taryn-chan, there is always a nice, dark movie theater," Thomas joked, wrapping an arm around his girlfriend with a smile.

"How about.... Central Park!" Lily suggested. She always loved going to the park when she was younger, and the ponds and trees made everything so secluded if you left the paths.

Taryn looked at Thomas, laughing slightly and asked jokingly, "Is there any particular reason you like dark places, Thomas-kun?" Then she looked at Lily, "Central Park sounds like a great idea." She used to come to the park a lot when she was a kid. It was very tranquil once you got far enough down the paths and away from all the noise.

"Well, there might be one," Thomas told Taryn with a laugh as he leaned in and kissed her with a small smile. He nodded in agreement, "Central Park works too."

"Sounds like a plan," Charlie cried! She saw Hanyer take Lily's hand slowly. She was happy for her friends, even if she didn't have anyone. To her she didn't care. After all she was only thirteen. Charlie knew that she didn't need to date right now.

Lily blushed and looked down. "Ummm, so let's go." She said, smiling.

Taryn smiled at her two friends and then she took Thomas's hand. "Alright, let's go!" She started the sixteen block trek to Central Park.

Lily smiled.
"Come on!" She said, and pulled Hanyer.
"Let's go Charlie."

Thomas grinned as they walked through New York. It was an incredible city. Peoople were walking everywhere and traffic was busy. He even spotted a few traffic jams here and there. He grinned as they entered Central Park and stepped off the path.

"Shall we go to the usual place?" Thomas asked the others with a grin before teasing Taryn, "I can show you why I wanted to goto a dark place."
