Real Terror! ((Still acccepting RPers. Scary RP Rated T)) ANOUNCEMENT!

((Gah, sorry for not posting. I needed to take a day-long hiatus on all RPing, since it's really all I've been doing since I got out of school...>,< I'll probably post, but not very frequently. I already have a one-on-one RP I'm doing outside of this forum that I haven't replied to in days, and I've got my own thread to manage...gah....It's stressing...XP Maybe I should make a documentary: The Life of An Avid Roleplayer, or Fantasy Meets the Real World: A Look Into a Roleplayer's Eyes....meh, I wish I had a video camera...XD))

Ceshie looked up, and she gave a wobbly smile and a nod. "I..I guess so. I could do that...." she said, unable to form words into sentences. Though she wouldn't admit how much they made her feel good, she took both teen's advice and let them get through to her instead of her usual pushing-away routine. When she thought about it, hiding things seemed a lot more difficult.

Taryn heard Lily's quickened breath and her head whipped in the direction of her friend. She'd known Lily for a long time and had seen one of her panic attacks before. She spoke calmly and quietly, "Lily, it's okay. You'll be alright." She looked up the staircase, toward where the noises were coming from. The faint, but distinct click of a gun being readied to fire came harshly to her heightened hearing. She looked at Michael and murmured, "Help her calm down."

She stood up and started up the stairs, the bangle on her right hand disappearing and a scimitar-shaped, black knife as long as her forearm appeared in her hand.

Lily was frozen. She was hyperventilating and thoughts of all the ways she could die flashed through her head quickly. Taryn's words were only a dull murmur in her head.

"Lily," Thomas told his friend with a smile, "I don't think my Grandad's going to be taking you for a long time."
With that said, he followed Taryn. He wasn't going to let a ghost hurt the one he lov-liked. He blushed. He spoke, "Wait for me, Taryn-chan!"

Taryn halted on the stairs, waiting for Thomas. She was nervous, but she didn't let her face show it. She took a deep breath, gripping the railing with her free hand.

Thomas smiled nervously at his girlfriend. He spoke, trying to reassure her, "I won't let them do anything to you."

Taryn smiled back at him, looking just as nervous and she continued up the stairs. She nodded and murmured, "Okay. I trust you."

Thomas smiled, happy to hear those words from her. He spoke, "Stay close to me."

Michael simply nodded in agreement with Taryn's order before grabbing Lily's hand. "Hey, hey it's going to be ok Lily. You're not dying today, I'll make sure of it." He said in a comforting tone before standing up. "I'll make sure all of you survive, just...trust me with this." Michael added as he addressed Lily, and Hanyer and Charlie who were behind him as well.

Michael then smiled softly as he still held onto Lily's hand, oddly though the vibe he was giving off was different the Michael's usual attitude. Of course there was no denying that it was still Michael inside but now there was something else added into the mix as well, it was a sort of...wisdom one might call it, something the student was gaining as his mind continued to mix with the Philosopher's book.

Alan poked his head in the stairway. "you know, other people ARE up here." he said and motioned down the hallway. "It's coming from one of the rooms near the end."

Thomas nodded, "Duly noted. Is everyone okay up there?"

"Yeah pretty much. Just kinda wonder what exactly is that noise." He said.

"It apparently is the noise of a couple of parents and the guy that killed everyone here," Thomas explained, "So be careful."

"The oldest son was the killer, if I remember correctly," Taryn stated quietly, staring wide-eyed down the hallway toward the noise. She wondered if clinical insanity stayed with ghosts after death...

Lily's breathing was beginning to slow back to normal. She remembered the holy water, crucifix, and bible in her bag. She got up nd ran into next room over where the closet was, to grab.

Hanyer held onto Charlie's hand in a reassuring way. She gripped it tightly, not wanting to be alone. She was kind of glad that although she may die, she wasn't alone. Her friends were here and now she had Cooya too, who flew lowly behind her.

"I trust you," she told Michael.

Ceshie got up to her feet and looked around, listening for that weird noise everyone was spazzing about. She had heard about some sort of family that still lived here, and, given the fact that they weren't here, they either left or...were killed. "So...there's MORE ghosts that are out to get people, huh?" she said, inwardly groaning about the privacy issue again, but this time she wasn't going to run away.

"There was a family, a mom, a dad, and four kids, the oldest son ated his family, one night, he came in with a shotgun and shot them in their sleep, He went back out to the bar again, in the morning he came back and called 911 as if he had just found them dead. dont know how those other two ghosts fit in but oh well." She said, as she shoved two wooden crucifixes, her pocketknife, blessed metals, holy water, a bible, and a flashlight into her bag. she slung it over her shoulder and headed back towards her friends.

((Wes goin' Buffy on their asses. XD sorry I had to say that.))

Alan looked at Lily. "Sheesh, going in heavy huh?" He asked.

Michael sighed in relief as Lily's breathing slowed down. He then turned around and smiled down at Charlie as Lily left silently behind him. "Thanks Charlie, I...yeah" The boy said with a slight awkwardness before looking up at Hanyer and smiling weakly.

But his expression changed from the smile as Michael began to feel rather guilty. "I'm sorry for lying to you earlier....about being a normal human."

"It's ok. Before today I had no idea anyone was not normal," Hanyer smiled, which a matching weak smile. "And it's not like your too abnormal. You still look human."

Charlie beamed at Michael, but then frowned. She did feel a little mad about his lying. "It's ok Michael. It's understandable to want to be normal or at least pretend you can be."

(Hellyeah we're going Buffy on them!)

"Well physically I still am the same weak human. But my mind, and my soul as well I suppose.....well they've changed recently. It's hard to explain though." Michael said as he looked down feeling rather stupid about the whole thing, but then a small smile cracked through his wilted expression and he looked back up at Charlie and Hanyer. "Which is why I'm going to show you, after all, books are meant to be read." He added before lifting up both of his hands and then tappinng Charlie and Hanyer's foreheads and then their eyes quickly as he whispered a quick chant.

Michael's consciousness quickly fled into the deeper part of his mind where the Philosopher's book waited. An illusion was created to make things look more appealing as it appeared that a library was around them. Two attendants appeared behind Michael, they looked identical except for the fact that one was dressed in green and the other in purple.

"Don't worry it's not like we've left the house or anything...just, welcome to my mind and the Philosopher book's information on the universe's magical details. I would prefer it if you didn't try to use the mental connection to read my own thoughts though." He explained to Hanyer and Charlie with a knowing smile.

Charlie squealed in excitement. It was beyond cool what Michael was doing. She began to look at the information that was stored here. Hanyer stood where he was and looked at Michael.

"This is amazing. But are you sure you can handle it? I don't want you to do anything that will hurt you for us."

Lily walked over to them. "What's going on?" She asked, holding her bag at the ready. "We should probably get upstairs." She said.

"Oh I'll be fi-"
"Of course he can't handle it, he's only human after all. " The high pitched voice voice cut Michael off with a smug look on his face.
"I would say only four hours and thirty-two minutes left, wouldn't you agree that that's an accurate estimation Michael?" The softer more feminine voice asked as she looked at Michael, receiving a glare in return.

"None of that matters now, so if you two could just please shut up for now and leave us alone that would be appreciated." He requested before the matching forms bowed and walked away silently.

"Don't worry, they're just...bitter." Michael explained as he looked back towards Hanyer and Charlie with a rather anxious expression on his face.
