Real Terror! ((Still acccepting RPers. Scary RP Rated T)) ANOUNCEMENT!

Taryn smiled, leaning on the doorframe of the room where Thomas and ghosts were. She knew now that the unrest spirits would pass over and finally be at peace. She felt unfit to see the ghosts pass, though. I'll see that when the time comes, she thought, as she walked down the stairs to rejoin the others. She looked over at Charlie and her pet, "A Gandatz! How cute!" She sat down by Lily and asked, "So, what are we talking about?"

"Books." Alan answered, and promptly kept reading his. He had let to much slip already.

"I don't know."Lily said, perfectly content with sitting there with her head on Michael's shoulder, not knowing what was going on.

Joe nodded. "Well, I guess I'd better get going. Millie, I'll let you do whatever you need." he said. Smiling, he said, "Maybe I will see you up there someday, and I'll be waiting." With that, he willed himself that he wanted to go to heaven, and in a flash, he disappeared. Millie simply watched as the husband she loved and so desperately wanted to find moved on without her. Tears came to her translucent eyes, and said, "I...I better get going if I'm going to have any chance at getting to Heaven. Th-thank you." she said, before floating out of the house and into the world, where she was destined to get into Heaven and see her love, Joe, again.

Ceshie stopped as Nick started yelling at her. She was angered that he was yelling at her, but she did take in what he said, and tears slowly rolled down her face as the cold reality stepped into her mind, and she couldn't do anything to stop them. "I...I don't want people seeing me like this. I know that I'm probably the lifeboat of this group. All the comedy comes from me, and all of the assurances come from me. All the other girls get scared at just about anything, and the guys...well...I'm one of them, really, and guys try to keep this kind of thing to themselves. You'll never see Hanyer or Alan lay out their heart on a silver platter like girls do, and I wanted to do the same. I don't think you treat me differently, it's just that I've always wanted superpowers, and hanging out with a group of supernaturals makes me feel weak, like everybody knows the secret handshake but me." Ceshie didn't know why she was just blabbering like a sad child, but she felt she had to keep talking and angle her face down to get the attention off of the numerous tears running down it. "I always say that I want to be different, but secretly I want to be the same as everyone else, just so that I fit in somewhere in this world. My own mom couldn't take care of me...and it's my duty to take care of myself, so my other mom doesn't have to." Just the thought of her birth mother brought back the memories of those early days, when Ceshie tried to run away every other day, trying to find her birth mother. She never made it far, only to the middle of town, when she knew a police car was going to pick her up and drop her back with her adoptive mother. "P-please don't look at me." Ceshlyta mumbled, sitting down on the wall next to the flight of stairs and pulled her knees to her chest, a safe place to land in a house full of unknown corners and crevasses.

Alan heard Nick yelling and closed his book. "um, I'll go see what that is about." He said and headed up the stairs glad to get away from that conversation. As he went up he heard some of what Ceshlyta was saying. He then saw her curled up against a wall. Cheering people up was not part of his expertise, but he had to try, give Nick a break for once. He smiled at Nick and sat down next to her. "Why so embarassed Ceshie?" He said and smiled. "Your childhood was crap, yes, but why let other people's past mistakes keep you from being happy? your mother left you, weather her intentions were good or bad, I wouldn't know. But why do you feel this need to take care of yourself, do you think we don't want to? It's not a burden I can tell you that, why bother taking care of you if they don't want to? i'm sure your other mother was prepared to care for you, other wise you probably would be in a much worse place." He sighed. "At least you can hold onto the idea that your real mother left you for the right reasons and still loves you. much more then i can say for my parents." he said adding the last part under his breath. "And why be envious of us with powers? At least you have the fortune enough to see this side of the world that many don't even know about. All in all, you still have a bright future, why let the past ruin it?"

((wow...I'm listening to a not-sad-but-not-happy country song, and it's one that I always cry to, even if it has nothing to do with my life in any way...is that weird?))

Ceshlyta looked up at Alan, finally not caring about her tear-streaked face. "I just don't want my burdens placed on you guys. You all have your own issues, including the whole life-with-superpowers thing, by what you say, and my weakness will weaken the whole." she mumbled, letting a Trek reference escape her little safebubble, and probably go unnoticed. "That was the exact reason why I ran away so many times when I was young. I still thought she loved me, and that she wanted me back. I was so focused on finding her, I didn't think that she could be in another town, another county, another whole fricking state, for Lord's sake. I finally stopped because I knew that no matter how many times I ran away, a police car would always pick me up and dump me back at home." she said, fresh tears falling from her eyes. "I know my mother cares about me a lot, but I still want to know who my mother was, why she left me to the adoption agency. After the first time I ran away, when my mother told me I was adopted, she never told me the reason why. It's almost an obsession I have. I've tried to ask Mom, but she never tells me, saying, "Oh, you're probably better off not knowing. Besides, you have me and your little sister, now, and that's all that matters." Bulls***." Ceshie said, mimicking her mother's high voice. "I like seeing the side of life you guys have, but I've always wanted to be able to fly, so I can go longer distances to find my mother, without being interrupted by the damn police." she said, hiding her head in her knees, no longer embarrassed, but the pose felt safe, comforting.

Alan sighed, nowadays things rarely ever got him emotional, but this...he shook his head. "Yeah BS is right, no matter if the truth is the worst case, it's better to know for sure then to keep torturing yourself specualting." He stopped. "I guess this shows how to have too much or too little of one thing is harmful. you know nothing of your parents, while I know mine all too well. But that's not of importance. What i'm trying to say here is, Don't keep crying about what has happened, worry about what WILL happen. What if you stay like this? Being happy on the outside but killing yourself on the inside. It won't turn out well." He started to struggle for anything to say after that. "You want to know who your mother was, you want to know why she made the decisions she made. That is perfectly understandable, but what you want should never be more important then what you have. you have a family who cares and good friends, and for now, that should suffice. if you really want what you want you'll be able to achieve that later in life when you don't have police on your tail everytime you leave without notice." Alan said his words carefull. wondering if what he was saying would help.

Michael quietly looked at the book Lily had set down as he studied the book's exterior carefully, now positive that Lily owned the Cursed Book. His eyes flashed back and forth as they once again looked like they were reading something at light speed. But he had actually been debating with the voices that came with the Philosopher's book. They were sure that Michael should convince Lily to give him the book but once again Michael stubbornly disagreed before they reminded him once again he had less then five hours, of course that changed nothing.

As the conversation ended and Michael's consciousness came back to his body he realized Lily was resting on his shoulder and Alan had left and now Taryn had taken his place in the room. He smiled as he saw his closest friends sitting around him, talking about the Gandatz. But oddly for Michael it was cold in the room, like really really cold. Of course he realized it was the fever getting worse and so Michael simply sighed in bitter acceptance of the whole situation.

Nick kept silent as Alan started to talk with Ceshlyta, he figured he could give somebody else a turn to cheer her up, but he hated seeing her so sad. Nick nodded as Alan mentioned to focus on what will happen. "Your mother probably loved you, and your adopted mother does too. She probably even cares a little too much. But don't worry, if she won't tell you, then maybe when you feel that you're ready, you can look for answers on your own. And if it gets that pretty smile of yours back on your face, then I'll help." he offered, and then sat down next to her on the stairs. "So long as you have us, and don't push us away, you'll be fine." he reassured, wrapping his arms around her despite her comfort position.

Lily grinned, "That book, the writing is only visible to me, to others it looks like blank pages, the only way for somebody to read that is if I forfeit ownership, or if i get killed. But I usually would just hand it over, I don't see why it's so important, It's just a stupid reference book." she told them

Charlie shrugged. She had no idea if she could summon more, but she was pleased with the attention she and her new pet were getting. But something nawed at her core.

"But I didn't mean to summon her. And that scares me. What if I summon something dangerous by accident?"

Hanyer gave his friend and huge and shook his head. "Don't worry Char. If you do that I'm sure all of us could do something about it. Besides it doesn't seem like your body can take anything major right now."

Thomas smiled as the ghosts faded away before he returned to the living room where he saw some of the others talking about stuff. He took his place next to Taryn and grabbed a pizza, "So, what's happened while I was away?"

Lily's eyes were beginning to close, then she sat upright all of a sudden.
"Guys! There are four other ghost in this house besides those two! Two little girls, one little boy, and their older brother, the one who killed them! Our work isn't over yet!"

"Aww man..." Thomas groaned, "No rest for the weary."

Taryn's brow wrinkled at what Lily said, "So it's true." She bit her lip and then released it, "I'm surprised that anyone moved into this place after what happened to the Lutz family. Scared away from the house in 28 days. Left their belongings and bolted. I didn't think there was anything to it until I actually came here."

Thomas nodded, thinking about what he was going to do. It looked like he'd have to forcefully banish the murderer's spirit from the world. In theory, he could do it, but ghosts were quite tricky when they knew they were probably going to go to Hell if they were banished.

"Why is there so much going on," Hanyer asked no one in particular. He was feeling a bit tired from all of this paranormal incidents.

Taryn thought about the question for a moment. "Maybe the spirits aren't used to this much supernatural energy..." she said, more to herself than anyone else. She couldn't help but feel a little paranoid. There was a murderer in the house, watching them from somewhere.

Lily looked at her watch "Midnight, this was when he killed them." She said, the words had only just excaped her lips when what sounded like footsteps came from the parents bedroom. "Thats could be walking or the gun, he had a silencer on it so the neighbors wouldn't hear."

"Well there's the possibility of a rift I s-." Michael was explaining to Hanyer before the footsteps started and Lily explained what it could be. "Well I suppose if there's the chance everyone is going to die.....I call last cheese piece." He declared as he leaned towards the box to grab it only for something else to catch his eye. The door to the closet that he had been in earlier with Lily, the one that had been empty the last time Michael opened it...It seemed like the wall it had been attached to was now four feet closer, while it wasn't currently moving now this still disturbed Michael a bit. "So I suppose that strengthens the rift theory...."

"I'm guessing we should confront the murderer and fast. The sooner we settle this, the less likely we will get into too much trouble," Thomas reasoned.

Charlie was beginning to get freaked out. She clutched onto Hanyer's arm and he gave her a reassuring look. Charlie smiled weakly and hugged Cooya, who purred and smiled up at her.

"Especially when you consider that Ceshie, Alan, and Nick are upstairs with the killer and they don't know it." Michael calmly agreed with Thomas as he finally pulled the last slice of pizza out of it's box. "Yeah...."

Alan heard a noise from the room down the hall, he stood up. "Anyone else hear that?" he asked. his senses sharpend as soon as he drew his sword. "Yup that's definatly something not a normal sound."

Lily put on a brave face but she was clearly beginning to hyperventilate. Since 9/11, she had had panic attacks out of no where, convinced she was going to die, once they had to send her home from school because she passed out from hyperventilation. That didn't usually happen. But every now and again, she got really scared.
