| The world has always been a place of peace and neutrality. Any conflicts that began to surface seem to diffuse before they became serious problems. Governments would suddenly agree with one another, militaristic dictators would fall from power, and entire armies would vanish without a trace. The people of the world give thanks to the Watchers, Gods of the other side that keep peace in the world of the living. They will appear in times of great conflict, using their almighty powers, and would vanish without a trace. So every day they would pray to the Watchers, their guardians, and give thanks to peace.
The Watchers see it differently.
The world of the Watchers is a place that exists separately from the human world, known simply as "The Realm". Since as long as can be remembered the Watchers kept themselves separate from the human world, guided by an ancient tradition that made them their unseen guardians. All Watchers are born with great power locked inside them, some stronger than others. Normally, their powers would grow with their age, and are unique to every person. However, yielding any strong feelings of emotions would warp and change them. Feelings of happiness, bravery, and kindness would bring out the light qualities of the Watcher's power. Likewise, feelings of hate, rage, and sorrow would bring out the dark.
In order to keep the human world neutral and in peace, the Watchers themselves had to remain neutral. Therefore the Elders dictated that strong feelings of emotions would be forbidden in the The Realm. And so it was, and for a time both the Human World, and The Realm existed in peace.
But it was not to last.
The Watcher's name was Sean Arcane, a young man who saw humanity differently than most of the Watchers. No matter how many times they brought peace, mankind always sought to bring back despair. Sean slowly began to hate the Human World; and believe that the guardianship over them must come to an end. The Elders dismissed his claims, and Sean vanished into the Human World.
A few years later, the world grew rose in conflict once more; the onset of World War III. The Watchers sent down several of their own to quell the fighting, but they vanished without a trace. The presence of a hidden evil convinced the Elders to abandon their attempts, and allow the Human World to wipe itself out and begin anew.
But a few of the Watchers knew the truth; Sean was wiping the humans out, and the Elders were afraid of the emotions that he now bore.
They had to decide; would they forsake their home and attempt to stop Sean? Or will humanity finally end.DETAILS: Okay, this takes place in modern times during World War III. I'm having no set world, so make up a country and its position if you feel like it; this isn't our Earth. The Watchers are looked at as Gods to humans, so don't go around flashing your powers unless you want people worshipping you or freaking out; you're like Jesus to them. Emotions enhance a Watcher's powers in some form. Say you have the power over plants; if you kept emotionless then your power over plants would be just that. If you started to use strong, positive feelings, your powers might change to plants that are able to repair wounds or something like that. Likewise, if you started using strong, negative emotions, your plants might suck the life out of other living beings. The Watchers are just shells for their powers, let your powers become too much for you to handle, and they'll consume you. RULES: 1. No Godmodding...seriously. 2. No Power Playing, that means no auto hitting. 3. No Mary/Gary Sues. 4. Good grammar is important... 5. PG-13 people, if you get to second base we don't want to know the details. 6. Use common sense, you know if something is obviously against the rules. CHARACTERS:The Watchers- Those that believe Sean must be stopped, and are prepared to leave The Realm to save the world. 1. Chance Warren 2. Lucy Mabel (Casey Jewels) 3. Chrysler (manysidestome) 4. Alec Sophronius (Alec) 5. The Forsaken (CLOSED)- The Watchers sent to quell the fighting and vanished. They have been bent into following Sean. 1. Sean Arcane 2. Carn (Plaguewalker) 3. Alex Divino (nando) 4. Ren Belial (Alec) 5. Nex (Shadow Moonseye) Humans- Do you want to a mercenary or a soldier in the war? A political official? Whatever you want. 1. Alexander Core 2. Senka Ceridwen (Alec) 3. 4. BIO: Name: Kind of important? Age: 14 to Any... Gender: I'd prefer either male or female... Appearance: Description or a link... Watcher/Forsaken/Human: Choose one... Power(If Watcher or Forsaken): It can be whatever you want, just make sure you don't go overboard... Weapons: You can if you want... Emotions: What percent of emotions do you have in your heart? A Watcher can tap into his positive or negative emotions for power. The more of whatever emotion you have, the easier it is to use and the harder it is to use the other. For instance, if you have 80% Light, and 20% dark, it's much harder to tap into your negative emotions than it is your positive. History: What's you story boy/girl? Personality: How do you act? Other: Anything else? ------------------------------------------------------ Now then, my characters. Name: Sean Arcane Age: Early Twenties... Gender: Male Appearance: Watcher/Forsaken/Human: Forsaken Power(If Watcher or Forsaken): Sean was found to possess unusually strong psychic abilities at a young age. When he was emotionless, his powers covered only mind reading and lifting objects. But by tapping into his negative emotions, his powers have morphed into controlling the minds of other people and bending their will. He did so against the Watchers that were sent after him, and now they have given into their darkened emotions as well. The more hate he felt, the stronger his powers became, and it is unknown just how powerful he has become. Weapons: A long, black katana. Emotions: 95% Dark, 5% Light; The effects of using his negative emotions has taken its effect on Sean. His very body has begun to show the effects of their prolonged usage; his outside has begun to match who he is on the inside. No other Watcher in history has been closer to fully filling their heart with darkness, and Sean intends to be the first. History: Sean was always a promising guardian. When he was younger, he became someone for others to look up to, always doing the right thing and upholding justice. He took care of his friends, and obeyed his teachers as he became one of the most promising Watchers of the era. His psychic abilities were unparallel in their depth, and Sean seemed to grow more attune with them with each passing day. When he reached fourteen, he graduated the top of his class, and became a Guardian. However, Sean quickly realized that humanity was not as he expected it to be. Countless times he was sent to solve the same problems, quell the same conflicts, and humans never seemed to learn from their mistakes. His impatience turned into irritation, and eventually it became hatred. He started ignoring his orders, refusing to give aid, and was brought several times before the Elders. No one understood why Sean, their most promising Guardian and friend, was falling out of step. The last time he was summoned, Sean yelled in rage at the Elders, and denounced the Watchers' traditions and way of life. Conflicts on the Human World were humanity's fault, so why must they solve time and time again? Sean fled The Realm without a word to any of his friends, and vanished into the Human World. For several years no one heard of him, until an unnatural conflict took hold of the Human World. A Tyrant by the name of Alexander Core took power in the Northern Lands, a powerful section of the Human World. People seemed to bend to his very will, he attracted support quicker than any in history. Sean controlled the man like a puppet, and started his war. The Elders sent down Watchers to quell the conflict, and they quickly realized Sean was responsible. Sean, now calling himself Arcane, forced his will upon his pursuers. The Watchers, unaware of the power of hate, and rage, felt victim to his power. They embraced their own darkness, and became his followers, the Forsaken. Now Alexander Core is beginning his campaign against the other nations, empowered by Arcane's will, and is threatening to wipe out the very world. Personality: Sean started off as any normal Watcher, taught not to fall victim to strong feelings of emotion. So he kept himself steady, training his mind to remain in control. He was kind, loyal, and protective of those close to him. When his irritation with the Human World grew, he started to ignore his teachings on controlling his emotions, letting them spill out whenever they came. He became harsh, bitter, looking down upon others who hid their true feelings. Now he embraces his feelings of hate, and rage, using them to increase his own power. Other: He has the highest amount of darkness inside him. Many of the Watchers knew him as a friend. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Name: Chance Warren Age: 18 Gender: Male Appearance: Watcher/Forsaken/Human: Watcher Power(If Watcher or Forsaken): Lightning/Electricity- Chance is able to channel energy through his body and unleash it in a variety of ways. Weapons: Two short swords he keeps on his back. Emotions: 70% Light, 30% Dark- Chance has more light in his heart than he does darkness, and he has begun to tap into his positive emotions; the desire to protect others, bravery, and kindness. He realized that in order to resist Arcane's darkened emotions, he must be ready with some of his own. History: Chance began his training when Sean was nearing his end. Like many, he became friends with the well known psychic, and looked up to Sean as a role model. By the time he was graduating, Sean had become to waver in his beliefs. He never got to say goodbye or talk with the Watcher before he left, and Chance felt that he might have been able to convince Sean to stay. During his three years as a Guardian, Chance left many times to search for Sean, but always came up short. When Alexander Core took power, he volunteered to be one of those that went to quell the conflict. Knowing that Sean was involved, the Elders forbid anyone who had a previous connection to the boy from going. Chance would later feel guilty when the Watchers did not return, and started to believe that the Elders did not know how to handle the situation. He suspicions were confirmed when the Elders forbid any more Watchers from leaving The Realm. Chance, knowing Sean's intent, and unwilling to sit back and watch humanity fall, decided that it was time to leave. Personality: Like every other Watcher, Chance started off emotionless; kind and good natured, but careful of strong feelings. When he made the decision that he would have to leave The Realm and go after Sean, he began to experiment with his positive emotions, letting them come rather than denying them. He believes that in order to be prepared for Sean's darkened feelings, he must be experienced in emotions less he fall to them like the Forsaken. Other: He's prepared to enter the Human World alone if need be. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: Alexander Core Age: 49 Gender: Male Appearance: Watcher/Forsaken/Human: Human Emotions: 80% Dark, 20% Light- Alexander Core's emotions have been pushed by Arcane's power. He's welcomed the darkness in his heart, and it's destroying him from the inside out, turning him into a puppet. History: Alexander Core was member of the Northern Lands, a collection of powerful nations that joined together for political and economic power. He was a prominent political figure, trying to advance the Northern Lands' position in the world. On one average day, he met a man who called himself Arcane. Alexander quickly took a liking to the young man who seemed to have all of his same ideals and beliefs. Arcane encouraged him, filled with confidence, and people responded with their full cooperation. Whenever he spoke, the people began to cheer; they applauded his words. Alexander became the Commander of the Northern Lands, and brought about an even tighter alliance. His most trusted advisor, Arcane, pushed him to expand his ideas, and Alexander found they were desirable. Why unite only the Northern Lands, when he could easily unite the entire world. And so Alexander pushed for domination, and the people threw themselves behind him. His war had begun. Personality: A confident, powerful man; Alexander has become arrogant thanks to the council of Arcane. No longer does he doubt his own charisma; no longer does he shy away from saying what must be said. He believes himself to be in complete control, and is pleased with the way the world is going. Other: Controls the Northern Lands. Okay, some last minute notes. The Watchers are not used to strong feelings of emotions, that's why Sean was able to bring the Forsaken under his will so easily. I'm not making Alexander the only war powering dictator and I'm not making the Northern Lands the only country that wants war, but he is the one that has started World War III. I'm not making a limit on characters until I think I have to, but no more than one per category, and you must be able to keep up with them.

| The Watchers
Name: Lucy Mabel
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Appearance: She has brown hair that falls to just below her chin, and her eyes are a deep blue. Her skin never tans, no matter how much time she spends outdoors, so she always either looks pale or burned. Her clothing is usually nothing more than a long-sleeved shirt and a long skirt that falls to just below her knees, but they are always covered with intricate designs, stemming from the fact that she paints all of her clothing. Her feet are adorned with tennis shoes, of which also has intricate designs on them. She usually has a paintbrush tucked behind her ear, and a small case of paints tucked into a nearly invisible pocket in her skirt.
Watcher/Forsaken/Human: Watcher
Power(If Watcher or Forsaken): Whatever she paints comes 'alive'. The stronger she grows with it, the less she needs paints to work with. When painting from her heart (aka, without paints), her colors come out bright, because of her Light emotions, and any creatures she creates tend to have the same percentages in emotions as she possesses.
Weapons: A paintbrush
Emotions: 72% Light; 28% Dark
History: Lucy looked up to Sean, just as everybody else did in the school, but she never said more than two words to him. She worked diligently at her schoolwork, and graduated as one of the eleventh of her class.
When Sean's betrayal became clear after five years of her service as a Guardian, she was hurt deep that somebody so good could become something so evil. She decided too late to help take down Sean, and has since been scheming up various plans to safely sneak away.
She's ready and willing to do whatever it takes, but has yet to realize that her desires are slowly affecting the balance of her emotions, turning her darker.
Personality: Lucy's one of those girls who acts nothing like she looks. While she looks like one of those spoiled rich girls, she is actually quite practical and mature. She doesn't get angry much, but when she does, she doesn't scream or yell, but simply remains silent. Also, she isn't rash with her power, but instead likes to gain things the hard way at least once before just creating them. It makes her appreciate her power more, instead of just taking it for granted.

| The Watchers Name: Chrysler Age: 32 Gender: Male Appearance: His hair is extremely blonde, to the point of being white. He wears a blue coat with yellow lines on either side of the front and one up the middle of the back. He wears white pants and has bright blue eyes. Watcher/Forsaken/Human: Watcher Power(If Watcher or Forsaken): Has control over water, but their has to be a nearby source. Weapons: Circular object with spikes he can throw that spins. Emotions: 85% Light; 15% Dark History: Chrysler was always a bad student, he couldn't seem to exercise any control over his emotions from the start, though it was never any negative emotions. He was always happy and liked to do nice things for others, even when he was scolded or punished for it, he never delved into his other emotions. Finally, when he became a guardian at age 18, having to re-learn some things several times, he failed miserably. He had little control, and with his power over water just made it rain or caused water to shoot out of pipes, flooding places. He was more of a hindrance than anything else, and around age 27, the elders decided to retire him from guardianship. Instead of remaining in the realm, he escaped to the human realm, but was never captured, when Arcane's doings took up more of the Elder's concerns than he did with his antics. Personality: Chrysler likes to have fun, and doesn't like control. He loves being free to do whatever he wants and use his power however he pleases, though he doesn't like causing others distress with them. He's a bit of a jokester when he wants to be, and he can't really be serious. He's never caused storms with his powers, those are negative emotions, and has rarely ever tapped into them. He likes to cause showers with them, or control the water around him, and sometimes just freeze it, though it's never very hard or cold, it's just kind of fragile, though he has tried to make ice sculptures. | Name: Alec Sophronius (Means 'Helper of man' and 'Self-Controlled') Age: 21 Gender: Male
Appearance: Picture here He can usually be seen in comfortable clothing, but he always wears his glasses, his sword, and a small necklace with a Yin/Yang pendant.
Watcher/Forsaken/Human: Watcher
Power: Manipulation of Light/Darkness and Temperatures by controlling the heat. Oddly when he taps into his light emotions he can create barriers, while his darker ones can actually harm people.
Weapons:The Jian.
Emotions: 52% light/ 48% dark. While Alec used to avoid all emotions possible he has tried using them at specific times, but he always makes sure to use both light and dark so he can have control over all of his emotions. He's also rather conflicted at the moment because while he does understand why Sean would give up on humans, he even discussed the subject with him in depth and agree that human beings are very foolish. He's a very bitter person inside to boot, but in the end he still can't turn his back on his duty to help people because that would go against his one basic duty in life.
History: Alec began his training around the same time as Sean did. He befriended the other boy early on and he enjoyed having discussions with him about morality and life. When they were young and had come out of Earth history class Alec had a discussion with the other students about it, and like he always did, Alec argued for both helping and abandoning humanity, just to make things interesting for himself. He told the others that maybe Humanity would never learn, and maybe they were doomed to bring the Watchers down with them in their foolishness. Of course this was met with disagreement and so Alec also argued that maybe the elders were right and maybe the Watchers would elevate the Humans into a golden age of morality, but he personally didn't believe it and he knew that it showed.
As Alec was sent to earth to stop wars he realized that he was going to have to make a decision and stick with it or else he would crumble. Of course the decision was whether he should give up and hide in earth like many a watcher before him had, or whether he would stick with his duty and never give up on the humans he looked down upon. In the end he chose the latter choice and he has stuck with it to this day. Alec even told a few of the other watchers to make this choice when he saw that they were conflicted about their jobs. When Alec first heard about Sean's betrayal he nearly went to Earth himself in fury to bring the boy back, but when the elders forbade him from doing so, Alec instead stayed in his quarters and began to reminiscence and his past argument where he talked about giving up on humanity came to mind, which made Alec feel partially guilty about the situation that was happening around him.
Later when Alec heard about the watchers that were disappearing after they were sent for Sean Alec became very surprised and he realized that if he had gone then he probably would have failed as well. So then Alec began to practice using his emotions for thirty minutes a day. He went through all of them and even tested his powers during these trials. While they haven't made Alec a more light-filled person they have made him a more balanced and strong-willed person, and now he feels like he should go to Earth after the forsaken so as to stop them.
Personality: He leans towards being an INTJ but is slightly more noble then that personality. He is a helpful person and will do any chore he is asked to do as long as it doesn't go against his ideals. He has high-standards for himself and others, but none of them have anything to do with physical appearances. Rather his standards have to do with people's duties to know things and respect others, even if you hate them there is no point in abusing them. Physical harm to others is only fine in self-defense or preventing someone's death. Revenge and torture are too things that Alec can understand but never agree with as he thinks those two things can destroy good people very easily. While he doesn't like to hang out with loud or stupid people Alec does enjoy shocking them and can be considered a show-off. Very often in debates he can see the points of both sides involved and has little arguments in his head about which one he should support. Alec summed up in a few words would be duality-based balance-seeking scholar.
Other: He is one of the most balanced of all the watchers with his emotions. It was assumed by many that he would become an elder when he was older. | |

| Name: Carn Age: 20 Gender: Male Appearance: Since his fall, Carn has never been seen without his robe on. It covers his entire body, save for his hands which barely hang free of the sleeves. His skin is dark black, and his fingers seem like they would break off if you touched them. Four glowing red eyes stare out from beneath his hood, as two thin tusks barely escape the dark shadow of the hood. Watcher/Forsaken/Human: Forsaken Power(If Watcher or Forsaken): Pressure Manipulation. Tapping into the darkness of his heart, Carn can alter the gravity around himself, and on objects around him. He can crush things, or cause them to simply explode from lack of pressure. On watchers, his power is limited, as the difference between Earth’s gravity and the Realm’s prevents him from causing them to implode or explode. He can still effect the gravity around them, making it difficult to move and fight. Weapons: War hammer Emotions: 86% Dark 14% Light History: His old name was Nostra, and it was always thought that he would be a great watcher, ever since he entered the academy. Nostra was close to the top of his class, beaten only by a few star pupils. Despite being so close in age, Nostra never got to know Sean.
Graduating not long after Sean did, Nostra began his career as a guardian. He served many times over, and had never failed to complete an assignment given to him by the Elders. When the new war broke out, Nostra volunteered to go down and put and end to it with his fellow guardians.
Arcane had been waiting for them. Nostra was powerless to save his allies, or himself. The young watcher fought against Sean’s powers for as long as he could, holding out longer than the others did. Eventually, Nostra was overcome.
Nostra was changed by the darkness. His body had shifted, becoming something so…vile he couldn’t bare to look at himself. Donning a dark robe, Nostra ceased to be. Carn was born that day, the youngest of the Forsaken, the one who had fought against their master’s will, and paid for it dearly. Personality: Carn is fueled by hatred, and only hated. He hates the flowers, he hates the humans, he hates the animals. Mercy is an unknown for him, and when he faces his enemies, only their utter-destruction will stop his violent attacks. His loyalty to Arcane is unwavering, and whatever he wishes, Carn shall see come to fruition. Beneath all the hatred, however, Carn hates one thing above all else.
Himself. Other: Carn is the youngest Forsaken.

| Name: Alex Divino Age: 35 Gender: Male Appearance: Watcher/Forsaken/Human: Forsaken Power (If Watcher or Forsaken): Power over weather.(He can create tornadoes, Tsunamis, shoot lightning, you get my point. Like Storm’s powers, from X-men). He is more powerful when he uses his dark emotions, like he has 85% dark he is able to make 3 powerful attacks, Tsunami, Earthquakes, and Hurricanes, of course over a certain range. If someone manages to give him a good blow while making one of these attacks, he will go unconscious for several hours. Weapons: Staff Emotions: 85% Dark; 15%Light History: Since little Alex has always tapped more into his dark side, than his light one. Teachers at the Academy always had an eye on him, but as he grew up he learned to use his Light side a little more, and hid away from the teacher’s view when he used his dark emotions. Alex trained alone most of the time, he trained mostly tapping in with his dark emotions which seemed to give him more power, and only did some training with his Light side to have something to show and keep on climbing to power. He managed to graduate as a guardian, and since then he has been pretty good while on the job. Alex was sent to stop Sean from messing up the world of the humans, but Sean messed with his mind and got control over it, of course it didn’t take much since he already had a vicious and bad mind. Before being changed by Sean, his emotions were 65% darkness and 35%Light. But after Sean took him, he changed to 85%darkness 15% Light. Personality: Alex can be called the most quiet forsaken or ex-guardian that has ever been. He rarely talks, and when he is asked something, he mostly nods with his head for a yes or no. Also, sometimes he can have a bitchy attitude, and even though he is quiet and all, he is intelligent. Other: Anything else? | |

| I thought I would make a few more if that's alright. -------------------------------------------------- Name: Ren Belial (Means 'Love' and 'Worthless'.) Age: 25 Gender: Female Appearance: Picture here. 5' 9" and 103 lbs. Ren is a very lean girl who lacks much muscle. She enjoys wearing comfortable and dark colored things. Can usually be seen with a book.
Watcher/Forsaken/Human: Forsaken
Power(If Watcher or Forsaken): She has the ability to connect with peoples emotions. If she was using light emotions when doing this then she would be able to read the other persons thoughts and feelings. But while she is dark the ability allows her to try and force her feelings onto others, unfortunately for Ren this doesn't work if the other person has strong will power and knows what she's about to do.
Weapons: None, because thanks to her power people usually just kill themselves for her.
Emotions: 22% Light and 78% Dark.
History: Ren was never a particularly strong student. To use the dark side of her powers efficiently she had to have a strong will, and to use the light that meant that she would have to actually lean towards the lighter side of her emotions which didn't happen either. Ren knew these things and it haunted her, she isolated herself from the other students so she could train, but this just continued her darker emotions gaining control over her and she couldn't grow stronger. She's always imagined of finding love like in stories and she would spend many hours of the day fantasizing and speculating how bright her future would be once she found "the one".
When it was announced that Sean had betrayed the watchers and gone to earth Ren was startled because she had only heard good things about Sean. She was sent after him mainly because she was one of the few people her age who had no connections to the boy. But of course Ren was easily corrupted once they finally confronted Sean, it took him sixteen seconds to make her change sides and she's stayed on his side ever since, even though she knows deep inside that it's destroying her, she simply doesn't care.
Personality: Ren leans towards being an INFP type personality. She is a weak-willed person who was desperate for someone to love her. She was always willing to do whatever anyone asked of her so she could be on their good side, even if doing it hurt her in the end. She's been familiar with dark emotions since she was a young girl thanks to her loneliness, she never realized it was her own fault for never opening up to anyone. But now that she feels like she's loved by Sean(She isn't) she is willing to do whatever he wants of her, she's even enjoying the pain of others at this point. Other: If there was a theme song for Ren it would be this. ==================================== Name: Senka Ceridwen (Means 'Shadow' and White, fair and blessed'.) Age: 43 Gender: Female
Appearance: Picture Here 5' 5" weighs 134 lbs. Can usually be seen in silver coats and robes. Watcher/Forsaken/Human: Human
Weapons: Her church.
Emotions: 63% Dark and 37% Light.
History: Senka was born and given to the church of the watchers at a young age. She was trained to be a priestess since she can remember and she has done her job very well in her opinion. Senka's life was basically training and helping others until she became High priestess and leader of the church at the age of twenty-nine.
Being the leader of the worlds largest organized religion gave Senka a lot of power, and she knew and loved this fact very much. She used her position as head of the church to bargain with leaders of other countries to change or adjust laws in their favor, for a small price of course, buying a religion isn't easy.
Now that World War III is on the horizon Senka has been in talks with the leaders of all the leaders of the most powerful countries in the world for they know that she can easily convince the little people to support the one that the "Almighty ones" want to have gain victory.
Personality: Senka leans towards being an ESTJ type personality. Except she is much more selfish then the regular ESTJ. She enjoys playing the political game to get more power for her and her church, and she has no problem with breaking the rules that she sets for others. She doesn't actually worship the watchers like the rest of her religion, she believes that they exist of course, but she doubts that they are powerful enough to deserve her praise. | |

| (Okay, we'll start now. There are no more spots for Forsaken, assuming Shadow Moonseye takes her reserved spot. We still need one more Watcher so if anyone still wants to join or if someone who's playing as a Forsaken wants a Watcher too, go right ahead)
IC: Chance
"..and so effective immediatly, all travel to the Human World is forbidden, by orders of the Elders."
Chance shook his head as he looked up towards the sky. The image of the Watcher covered the view of the many planets that orbited The Realm. There was no sky, or clouds, only space, as if The Realm weren't a planet at all. Alongside Chance many others had stopped in the street to watch the broadcast.
"All Power Sources must be turned in at once. Any that attempt to defy this command will be persecuted. Thank you, and enjoy your day."
The image vanished and the other Watchers monotonely went back to their day, the broadcast having as much effect on their dull personalities as hearing the weather. Chance however, was staring down at the metalic looking pavement.
"I might have only just started practicing my emotions, but I know this must be shame. How could they do this? If Sean succeeds, then everyone, everywhere...they're gonna loose their lives. And just think, if I hadn't started using my emotions...I'd be just like them..."
He looked around at the other Watchers dully walking by.
"I wouldn't give a damn."
He reached in his pocket and fingered the clear, marble sized orb that was his Power Source.
"I'm not giving it up. Not when I know this is wrong..."
(A Power Source is a small clear orb that is given only to Guardians. It allows them to teleport to the Human World when in a place called "The Station" in the The Realm. In the Human World, it also acts as a source of power for any device. I.E, it takes the place of gasoline, electricity, gas, ect... It can also create a temporary force field around the Guardian. It's powered by the energy of the person who's holding it)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IC: Alexander and Arcane
"Did you hear the people cheer?!" exclaimed Alexander Core, pacing in excitement behind his desk.
"How they called my name?!"
Not too far ahead of his desk sat a smiling young man. Half of his face was wrapped tightly in white bandages, as was his left hand, as if something had burned the entirety of his left side. He wore casual black attire, and had spiky black hair, uncharacterstic of someone who was called the Supreme Leader's most trusted Advisor.
"They worship you, Sir," replied Sean Arcane.
Core turned to beam proudly at his Advisor.
"Yes...yes they do; how could they not?! My plan is as brilliant as it is desireable! Just think, Arcane, The Northern Lands dominating the entire world! All nations united under my banner!"
Arcane grinned.
"Everything is going as you planned, Sir. What other nation can stand against the alliance of the Northern Lands?"
Core laughed and moved towards the door.
"Indeed! I'll be back Arcane, I must get some wine to celebrate this historic day!"
When the Supreme Leader left, Sean's smile vanished as he turned back towards the desk.
"What a stupid, weak minded old man."
He stood, and a crystal bottle of rum flew from a nearby table and into his hand, alongside a small crystal glass. Arcane crossed around the Alexander's desk and took a seat in the Supreme Leader's chair, pouring himself a glass of alcohol and setting the bottle on the desk.
"But he fits so perfectly into my design that sometimes it stuns even myself." | |

| Alec Sophronius
Alec looked down and bit his lip for a second before going back to an unemotional exterior. "I can't let myself go here, not in front of everyone." The Watcher told himself as he continued walking. "But still....those cowards! Don't they know that if we wait here Sean is going to succeed, he could....destroy the world until he comes back to the realm itself. I'll just have to discuss this with Elder Jee later I suppose, besides the elders probably know best in the end, they have to after all......." Alec decided as he walked by a young man standing in the middle of the path who was holding his power orb.
A small grin came to Alec's face as he looked down at his own power orb, which was hidden in his necklace. In fact it was his the pendant was his orb manipulated into the shape of Yin and Yang, based on an old human proverb that Alec agreed with and tried to live his life on. "They're wrong aren't they?" The guardian whispered to his pendant as he watched the black and white pulse slightly at his touch. "I need to go home before I do something stupid." Alec told himself as he looked up and noticed another watcher looking at him for a second, as though he was an anomaly.
"Oh well." The watcher told himself as he released the pendant and let it fall beneath his shirt. "You just need to control your emotions and everything will be fine, You still have a few chores left to do after all." Alec reminded himself as he turned around and began walking back towards the grand library. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Senka Ceridwen
"He's doing quite a good job, isn't he?" Senka asked one of her servants as she turned off her television after seeing Alexander Core's speech.
"Yes mother, his people seem to love him very much....but isn't what he says blasphemy against the watchers words? Isn't mankind supposed to live in many peaceful equal countries for diversity?" A young girl in her teens asked Senka in an almost pleading tone.
"Of course my child of course, I'll make sure to speak with him later when he calls. He may be charismatic and have his people but he knows that he needs one more thing for his plan to succeed, tell me when he calls." Senka replied as she walked away from the television into the backroom where her office lied, ignoring the girls confused face..

| (Here she is, sorry she took so long. Hope she works! Also, The Watchers.)
Name: Nex Age: 26 Gender: female Appearance: Nex with the added bit that half of each eye is entirely red; no pupil, no iris, no sclera can be defined in the red. Watcher/Forsaken/Human: Forsaken Power(If Watcher or Forsaken): She has the ability to control metal, crush it, form it into something new, melt it, lift it, etc. Due to her high darkness percentage, she even able to control the iron in one’s blood. (think like magnito from X-men) Weapons: N/A (Why carry a weapon when your enemy so kindly brings one for you?) Emotions: 87% Dark 13% Light History: Once, in the not so distant past, Nex was known simply as Aene. Aene was a gifted student, one of the more powerful ones of her class. She had high expectations for herself, as did others. Throughout school she was seen as having a near perfect balance with her dark and light sides of her power. She wound up graduating at the top of her class, keeping with the goals she had set for herself since the beginning.
Once graduated, Aene began a stellar career as a guardian. She never failed in any of the tasks set to her, often stopping battles single handedly.
When the Elders sent Watchers to confront the growing forces of the Northern Lands, she was an obvious choice. She went with the other Watchers, expecting no trouble. Unfortunately, she was wrong.
It would prove to be a most grievous mistake.
She fought back, her balanced state making it difficult for her to be bent to Sean’s will. She watched as first Ren, then Alex succumbed to his might. At that moment, she knew. No matter how hard they fought, how much they resisted, they would all eventually fall.
Despite, or perhaps in spite of her realization, she continued to fight along side Nostra. All too soon, she was overcome. She saw what befell her last comrade, how the darkness changed him. It was then that she became Nex. Aene died with Nostra. Personality: Nex has always been a climber so to speak, and that’s a trait that she retained in her shift to darkness she‘s always pushing herself. She very confident in herself and her capabilities, to the point of being arrogant at times. Her mind is like an iron trap, so to speak. Most of the time she appears to be emotionally dead, however at times she shows spikes of powerful emotions. Other: She was the third to fall. | |

| Lucy angrily dabbed her paintbrush against the brick wall. She was unsure of what exactly she was painting, but it helped to ease her frustration.
She had known before the announcement—known that it was no longer possible to travel to the Human World, but still the words made her angry.
When she had asked just a few days ago, they had denied her request to help out with the situation, insisting that it was just too dangerous. But wasn’t it more dangerous to just let Sean grow stronger and stronger, completely unchecked?
Finally, the young woman slowed in her dabbing and then let her hand fall to her side. Her deep blue eyes focused on the painting, and only as it pulled itself away from the wall did she realize that she had created a gun.
Lucy let the weapon fall to the ground, slightly sickened at herself. Painting when angry was something that she tried to avoid for this exact reason.
She gave a sharp shake of her head, her short brown hair bobbing at the movement, and then slid the worn paintbrush back behind her ear.
After giving herself a few moments to collect herself, she calmly walked out of the alleyway. Her face was blank, as it always appeared when she was fuming about something. However, her steps were fast, as if she was hurrying away from something.
They may have denied her access to the Human World, but Lucy wasn’t one to give up so easily.
As long as she kept her Power Source, she still had a chance.
Unconsciously she turned the ring on her left hand around, and then curled her fingers protectively over the orb. | |

| A light wind whistled across the landscape, driving a flurry with it. The snow settled softly, mostly melting as soon as it touched the ground. A pair of green and red eyes looked out over the cityscape, seemingly unmindful of the cold and snow.
They will come. It's only a matter of time, but they will come. Surely Arcane knows as well.
The owner of those eerie eyes tapped out a tattoo on her arm, shifting her weight slightly. The rooftop she stood on provided an excellent viewpoint, allowing her to see for many miles around.
When they come we should becareful and watch the populous, they'd probably blend in if we don't watch closely.
A small flick of one finger brought a sliver of metal up to eye-level, where it hovered, twisting slightly in the wind. She watched it quiver before liquifying it into a drop that she let fall to the ground far below. She cast a swift glance behind her, before returning her gaze to the horizon once more.
Minor fortifications should be added to this building, just to make things difficult. I'll have to speak with Arcane about it...
Quite abruptly, Nex stopped drumming her fingers, her eyes seeming to unfocus as she watched. | |

| Ren Belial
A small creak sounded across the roof as a door was opened and then closed. A cold breeze shutting it more quickly then expected and thus resulting in a loud banging noise as the door slammed. "Why does she have to wait up here right now? Does she enjoy freezing her *** off?" Ren wondered as she walked towards the edge of the roof where she saw Nex waiting, observing the city before them.
"So it looks like Sean's plans are going precisely as he planned with Core, of course that was to be expected but...." Ren let the sentence trail off as she decided that Nex probably didn't care. "Anyways food has arrived, delivery again." | |

| Dark eyes flicked over to Ren as she appeared on the rough top, before returning to Nex's figure. The forsaken had been there with her since she had come up, and he would not depart till she left. His robe fluttered in the breeze, but his hood remained over his dark face.
"Lord Arcane's plans will always come to fruition, Ren. He is far greater than any of us, and any of the watchers." His voice was no better than the frigid wind, as the robed form strode towards Nex. He dropped to a knee in respect to the stronger watcher, and said nothing.
------
OOC: I fergot to mention this, but Carn holds respect for those he views as greater than he. Arcane is the greatest, and Alex and Nex have his respect. Tragically for Ren, he views her as not very powerful, so no title for her. | |

| ((It's ok, Ren doesn't actually deserve anyone's respect. I basically made her as a character that was supposed to be pitied and disliked.))
"I-i understand." Ren replied as she looked down at Carn. "How dare he talk like that to me, acting as though I don't know how brilliant Sean is...he-he just must be jealous, that's all. I shouldn't fight him over his problems." The Forsaken lied to herself as she tried to justify her cowardice. "Well then I suppose I'll go find Alex then...." Ren said as she turned around and began to walk back towards the door on the roof.
She may be able to deal with Alex's silence, Nex's arrogance or even Sean's occasional abuse, but she simply could never be near Carn for long. -/-\-/-\-/-\- Alec Sophronius
Alec walked down the street with a straight and unemotional face, but his eyes were looking and studying everyone he passed on his way to the grand library. The watcher had begun the small project of checking to see which of the other Watchers were feeling emotions during the day, if he saw even one facial expression that gave them away then he would make a note to look up on them later. "Ah here we are." Alec whispered to himself as he looked at the grand entrance to the Realms only library, it also happened to be Alec's favorite place in the entire realm. | |

| IC: Arcane
Sean was waiting inside. He had travelled from the Capital building, which was now Alexander Core's well guarded fortress, to the Forsaken's temporary place of residence in an instant. It had taken him so little to travel so far; the more the darkness filled him, the stronger he became.
He now rested in the living area, the place wasn't too nice, but it worked for now. He sat on one of the sofas, watching the doorway carefully. He knew that Nex, Carn, and Ren were here. He imagined that Alex was somewhere about, but he had time, Arcane wasn't in a rush.
He'd made Alexander go to sleep for a while; couldn't have the old man wandering about on his own. He heard the door to the roof open and the unmistakable footsteps that he knew were Ren's.
--------------------------------------------------------------
IC: Chance
"Alec, move!" whispered a voice in his ear.
Chance pushed the older boy along and up the stairs towards the library.
"There are Security Personel nearby, and they're ordering Guardians to give up their Power Sources." | |

"I see...." Alec replied as he tried to appear unfazed, but decided it wasn't worth it as he glanced around and noticed a few Watchers in security personnel holding up a small group of younger guardians a few hundred yards from the library. "Thank you....Chance Warren." Alec said after studying the boys face and determining who he was.
"Come with me, I need to get something and I suppose it wouldn't hurt to show you it as well." Alec decided as he turned around and walked into the library. --------------------------- Ren
Ren walked into the building and a smile came to her face as she saw Sean Arcane sitting on a couch in what worked. "Hello Sean." Ren said as she bowed to her leader before getting up and grabbing some of the food that was sitting on a cheap and rickety looking table in the middle of the room. "Are you hungry?" | |

"No," replied Sean, watching Ren move about the kitchen.
"I've come to check up on you all and tell you of some things, that is all. Nex and Carn will be down shortely, and Alex is somewhere about."
The Forsaken leaned his head back against the couch, staring off at the ceiling.
------------------------------------------------
IC: Chance
Chance blinked after Alec before nodding and following the older boy.
"So, what are you getting here?" he asked, looking around as they stepped into the library.
All books of The Realm were made of a compressed energy, small rectangular shapes that expanded at the reader's will. A single bookshelf could hold thousands of the blue glowing rectangles. | |

| The sky got darker than it already was, the amount of snow falling increased, and suddenly it also started to rain. All of a sudden a lightning hits just a few feet away from where Nex was, and just there, Alex appeared. Now the rain stopped, and the snow decreased. Alex moved his head slowly and his purple eyes glanced over at Nex and Rex. That was enough for a greeting from Alex’s part.
Alex closed his eyes, and started to meditate lowly. After a few seconds little bolts of lightning started to come from his hand, until he made a ball and held it steadily (like the pictures above).
After successfully making and holding the ball for a few minutes he stopped. Putting his hood over his silver long hair, he stood up and headed down. He knew that Ren had to be somewhere in the building with his food. | |

"That must be him." Ren replied to Sean as she heard the multiple lightning shocks just above the room. "That should be how he likes it." The young woman told herself as she set out a plate for Alex before she started on her own food. -/-\- Alec
"A few files, notes and personal things that I've been collecting and saving here for the past few months." Alec replied as he climbed up a small staircase to the second floor. "Ah here we are." The Guardian told himself as he walked up to a small bookcase with a piece of red string at the bottom of the bookcase.
The Watcher walked down the path of the case, grabbing a few books every now and then. About eight minutes later Alec had sixteen files put into a small bag. "Well that's all I need then." Alec informed Chance before looking around the lower levels of the library to make sure the path was clear, only to see three security personnel down there.
"Hide your orb." Alec told Chance as he took off his necklace and shoved it into his shoe. "And if the guards ask for it tell them you've already given it to Summers, she's not down there so she can't deny it." | |

| Nex jerked slightly, the echoing boom of the slamming door jerking her from her reverie. Her hand curled into a fist, but she kept her gaze forward, not bothering to greet or acknowledge the approaching forsaken.
Only Ren. Why does she feel the need to inform me of food deliveries? If I wanted to know of such things I’m quite capable of finding them out for myself.
She didn’t offer her own input on the short conversation, besides, Ren was gone before she could say a word. She glanced down at Carn, motioning for him to get up.
“Stand up, Carn. Yo-” She was interrupted by a lightning strike next to her, the electricity causing her hair to stand on end. And there in the scorch mark stood Alex. Nex didn’t return the courtesy of a silent greeting, or any greeting at all for that matter. She took several deep breaths, quelling the rising annoyance at being interrupted.
Not too much later, Alex left, heading inside and leaving her and Carn alone once more.
If Arcane has returned, I imagine he will be wanting to speak with us all in the near future.
“Arcane is probably waiting on us.”
Yet she made no move to turn and head inside, instead she looked back out over the city. | |
