Clue ((Rated T)(OPEN))

Jonathan Body was never a kind man, nor was he well liked. But he always, always got what he wanted when he wanted it. Every year he collects information on various important people from the fields of politics, education, entertainment and sport. He does this so on the third friday of September every year he can invite them over, and blackmail them for their reactions. He loved pointing out how false all of these important or famous people were really just selfish lying fools.

Except tonight on September 14th 2007, Mister Body is going to have an unpleasant surprise after his head servant Abel Paris introduces a new rule to Sir Body's game, a rule that will end in the wealthy man's death.

As you might be able to tell this is an RP based on the game of Clue. The game will only last in a thirty-hour time period and thanks to Mr. Body's security system no one will be able to leave the property until someone comes looking for them. Thanks to an intense storm going on no one is able to make phone calls and the power very well may go out during the story.

Rules

1. No Godmodding, Mary-Sues and etc.

2. Your character can not be a mind reader or a person that knows things they shouldn't for no reason. If another character finds a clue to who the murderer could be this does not mean your character should know that same clue or start acting differently around the character that the evidence is pointed against. You may only get the information if you find the clue yourself, the person that found the clue tells you, or you heard the people that found it talking about it. Also if you see the person roleplaying as the murderer post their character killing someone do not have your character realize that someone just died or is suddenly suspicious of all that roleplayer's characters.

3. While your spelling and grammar do not have to be perfect, please fix it if you see any problems with your post.

4. You may have as many characters as you want as long as you can keep track of them.

5. If you want your character to be the murderer PM me and don't tell or inform anyone else that you are the murderer. When killing someone as the murderer please don't give away information in your posts that you are the killer.

6. Your character must either be wealthy, famous, important, or a servant to be in this story.

7. No one liner posts. I will give you a three strike system if you have posts with less then 2-3 sentences.

8. This RP is rated T. So please do not go into detail if your character has a sexual experience. Please do not say the more offensive cuss words and please do not go into too much detail on the gore of character's deaths.

Notes
It is recommended that you have multiple characters because there is a good chance that some of yours will be killed, also if you're the murderer then you might want multiples to mix things up.

There can be copycat murderers, but you must PM me to be the first.

As this RP is taking place in a short period of time please do not have your characters randomly hooking up all the time unless they really are that loose, or they already had feelings for that person before coming to the mansion.

Motive to kill Jon Body: In his view, the American public must never know that the plane simply malfuctioned, and was over the town because of his fault. Furthermore, since he blamed and started the war with China, he knows that if the secret ever became public his reelection campgain would be ruined and he'd likely be killed.
History: Ben Luxford grew up with great ambitions. Two years ago he ran for President of the United States, and won the Democratic nomination, and defeated the former President. Since his Presidency Ben has started a war with China, and is seeking for reelection.
Personality: On the outside, Ben Luxford is a compassionate man, and publically regrets the war he has started. On the inside, he is nothing more than a dirty, corrupt politician.

Motive to kill Jon Body: Disgust. Jonathan Body treated his servants like dirt and the entire staff knew Abel despised the man.
History: Abel was born to a poor family in London. He followed his grandfathers footsteps and trained to become a servant when he realized his family wouldn't support him to do much else and his grades weren't good enough for any sort of a scholarship. He was hired by the Body family when he was sixteen and he moved to the Body estate in southern Maine, U.S.A. . He eventually became a trusted servant of mr. Body and was known for doing much of the man's dirty work and research. Over the years Abel has grown sick of his master and has come up with a plan to end the man without being sent to jail.
Personality: He leans towards being an ISTP, but he plots and schemes too much to be a perfect example od the personality. While he will obey and allow people to mock and be rude to him for some time, after a certain point he will get revenge for he is a very vengeful person.

History: Charlie was always a good singer. She began singing young and started performing at relative's parties. At the age of thirteen she wanted to go pro and began to audition everywhere she could. Her parents were supportive and they helped their daughter get known. Finally at the age of sixteen, she got her first record deal and now has been performing as a famous singer for almost two years. She still lives with her family as she is trying to get a new home all settled out.
Personality: Charlie is outgoing and straight with people. If she doesn't like you, she'll tell you. A bit reckless and agressive too. She hates being told what to do and doesn't hold back when someone starts yelling at her. Charlie can be a kind person, but she has trouble trusting people. Can be superfical and talks down to people alot. Very tough and smart too.

When she was eighteen she went to college to be a vet. But during her third year at college, her home burned down and she had no money. Her family was going through a hard time as well and Jasielle didn't want to depend on them. She dropped out of college and began looking for a job. Eventually Jon Body offered a job as a servant in his house and having nothing else she accepted. She has been working there for about a year and hates every minute of it.
Personality: Jasielle is a kind, hard working girl. She does her best and never really cared if she was at the top. But working as a servant has changed her slightly. She gets anger easily and acts cold and cruel sometimes. She can be nasty at random times. Jasielle is still a kind person, but she doesn't show that side too much. She is tricky too.

Body was the worst boss they ever could have had. He constantly critizied their work, and made several threats to call child services if they didn't obey him. One night, he forced Sayu to have sex with him. Ever since then, the both of them have hated their boss, but were too afraid to go against him if he made good on those threats.
Personality: Lacus is normally a cheerful girl, though she is fiercely protective of her sister. She also does not take kind to critizism of her work.

Motive to kill Jon Body: Ekul would make sure that, at whatever cost, his secret would remain a secret.
History: Ekul is a popular mystery and sci-fi author, as well as a prominent believer in conspiracy theories. He has written several successful book series, and two nonfiction books. He is a pretty crazy person. His beliefs in conspiracy theories came from his mother, who was an avid advocate for them.
Personality: Ekul is, for a lack of a better word, a nutcase. He believes in tons of conspiracy theories, each more unlikely than the next. He tends to act weird a lot.

History: Taryn lived a fairly normal life as an only child since she was born in Kalispell Montana. She went Gonzaga university in washington and after her two years she worked as an intern for the mayor for the summer after she graduated. She eventually moved back home and married an old highschool sweetheart and she became a very vocal, and very conservative member of her community. She ran for the position of mayor in her community when she was twenty-nine and of course she won. Over the next four years she had a son in addition to the other three daughters she already had.
After her second term as mayor when she was thirty-seven she ran for the position of Senator in her state and won of course. She had an affair with her agent and became pregnant twice during this time, both were aborted.

After two terms as Senator she ran for governor in her state when she was 45, and she won because of how she talked about her strong "Traditional family values". During this time she slept with her new agent and became pregnant again, not wanting her husband to find out she had another abortion. She won and has been feeling good ever since, until she was recently invited to Mr. Body's mansion for a small weekend retreat, as he funded her campaign of course she said yes.
Personality: An ESFJ, but much more selfish and manipulative. She has great control of her temper because she bottles everything up, but she would do anything to make sure some of her horrible secrets were never revealed to the world.

History: Charles was born as the eldest son of Pyotr Madok, a famous candy maker who made millions od dollars in his company just by selling chocolate. Charles has been prepared to take his fathers place as successor, but to be honest he nevr wanted the job. Unlike his three younger siblings who would gladly take over the family name for themselves. When Charles went to college he fell in love with teo people, Jackelyn Tyler, and Shiloh Moore. In the end they all decided that they could have a successful relationship together and thus they all moved in together as a couple, while offically to Charles family he is just with Jackelyn and Shiloh is their friend.
Personality: Laid back, a flirt, social, kind and unambitious. While he may be lazy and unambitious, Charles is still kind and had a strong sense of right and wrong.

He had a chance to go to college early at the age of 16 as long as he scored a high score on the SATs. He was overwhelmed however by the pressure which he was not used to. Usually, he didn't have to study or anything. Now he was struggling. He decided instead of working, he would hack the SAT database and memorize the answers. He got a perfect score, but somehow Mr. Body found out.
Personality: He's very smart and likes to make jokes when among friends. He doesn't know how to handle pressure though as he's never really faced it before.

I was thinking perhaps it was a secret trip to Body's mansion, known to no one. Or at least where he was going. I did plan on him going by an alias, until someone recognized him.

John Body sighed in contentment as he looked outside his bedroom window. A massive storm was descending upon the area, rain, hale, gale force winds, and lightning were all confirmed to be in the clouds arriving and Jonathan was very pleased with the weather.

"Sir?"

"Yes Abel, I'll be down shortly to see our guests." Jonathan replied to his head servant.

"Of course Sir." Abel replied as he went downstairs to the hall where all of the guests were waiting.

"Mister Body has asked that his guests start dinner without him and he will join us all-" Abel was cut off as a loud gust of wind could be heard outside, causing the lights to flicker. "He will join you all in a few minutes." Abel finished as he directed the guests towards the dining room.

Ben Luxford nodded at the butler and took hi seat at the dinning table. He was currently dressed in a large overcoat and hat to obscure his identity. Offically, the President of the United States was still at the White House. Unoffically, President Luxford was at Body's residence and in disguise. He had heard of the man, and knew of his blackmailing nature. He had been called here himself by Body. Ben had an idea of what he could be blackmailed with, but he deeply hoped it wasn't true. The secret was one of national security, and it might make Body a threat to America, and especially to his Presidency.

Misa Tenji took her seat at the dinning table. She had heard of Mr. Body before, but not much. She never did pay attention to business men. She didn't have much of a clue why she had been invited.

Ekul Reklawyks took his seat at the table. He had heard all about John Body, and in fact the man was at the center of several conspiracy theories of his. Ekul had always suspected that their was an unknown connection between the Kennedy assassination and the Body family, and John had only increased his suspicion. He had a few theories as to why Body had called him here, but he couldn't prove any of them yet.

Sayu and Lacus Matthews stood in the dinning room, ready to wait upon Body's guests. Both of them knew very well why Body had called them here: to blackmail them. Working for him for over a year had shown them that their boss just loved to blackmail people. It sickened the both of them, especially Lacus, but they could do nothing about it. Not if they wanted to keep their jobs and stay here.

Charles followed the butler into the dining room and quickly found his seat at the table between an older man in a great deal of clothing and an attractive young asian woman who Charles was sure he had seen in films. The feeling of the room was tense, and Charles felt rather odd as he tried smiling to the woman across from him to lighten things up, only for her to glare at him. "Why did I come to this mess." The wealthy heir asked himself as he sat back uncomfortably in his chair.


Taryn Valda looked around the room nervously as she let a servant pur her a glass of red wine. Mrs. Valda had been hesitant about coming to mr. Body's at first but realized that maybe she the man would likely expose the secrets that he knew about if she declined. Oddly it appeared that not everyone knew what was going to lay before them, she realized when an attractive young man tried smiling towards her.


After helping the Lacus twins pour the guests their water and liquor, Abel walked to the end of the room where the servants were supposed to wait. "It's going to happen tonight." Abel whispered to Lacus with a small knowing smile as he stepped in line.

Jason shuffled into the dining room. He took off his jacket and hung it over his chair. He wasn't sure what this was all about. All he knew was that some of the other people here looked a bit shady, as did the invitation from Mr. Body himself.

Jason was hungry though. Eager to eat. He sat down and picked up the fork and knife in front of him. He quietly started drumming on the table. Quick beats to pass the time.

Lacus nodded at Abel, a small smirk appearing on her face. Perfect, tonight was the night. That bastard would pay once and for all. Sayu would be avenged.

Sayu went over to stand with the other butlers and maids. Knowing her monster of a boss, this was another blackmail party. She hated the way Body manipulated and abused other people. She had felt it herself a few months ago. Not to mention that he constantly threatened to turn her and her sister into child services. She hated that man. Sometimes she just wished he could die.

Misa stared at Charlles for a moment. He seemed familiar....wait, wasn't he some heir to a wealthy candy maker? If she wasn't mistaken, she believed he was. Misa took a sip of the water offered to her. She wasn't much of a drinker, since her parents usually frowned on that. Not to mention she'd seen what too much wine or beer could do to actors. The press loved it when Hollywood stars got themselves drunk.

Ben refused to drink anything, and simply waited for Body to show up. He was rather impatient, if his drumming fingers indicated anything. Nervous as well. If what he thought was true, Body could mean the salvation or damnation of his Presidency. As well as the lives of the other people here, since they were all about to be blackmailed. President Luxford scowled for a moment. He'd love for that man to be silenced for good. He was a pain in every politicans behind. Hmm...wasn't that Senator Valda over there? Curious. If he remembered correctly, in the news she was speculated as possibly running for the Republicans in the next election. Now, what could she be here for?

Ekul decided not to drink any of the water or wine. He didn't trust Body as far as he could throw him. If his one theory was correct, Body regularily put a special substance into his drinks to brainwash his guests. That, or invisible tiny seeds from the Hive were planted in the drinks. Ekul wasn't about to fall for that old trick. If the Speaker of the House couldn't convince him to drink anything besides the water he'd already brought, then Body certainly couldn't.

"I wouldn't advise drinking anything. More likely than not, Body is working for the Hive and could have put something in the drinks." Ekul advised his fellow guests. He wouldn't be surprised if they dismissed them as a simple crackpot. Nearly everyone did. If it weren't for his popular books, he wouldn't be taken seriously. But they'd see one day he was right. Oh yes, they would.

Jason put down his utensils and looked at his drink.

According to one of the other guests, there was a chance that it was poisoned.

Jason tried analyzing this... deciding whether or not it was true. It would be best to assume it was poisoned for now. Better safe than sorry.

He leaned back in his chair, gave a loud yawn and widely stretched his arms.

"So, when's Body getting here?" he asked aloud.

Charlie was about to ask the strange man what he was talking about, but was then interrupted.

"Right about now I would say." Jonathan Body said in an amused and condescending tone as he appeared in the doorway behind Jason. "I'm so sorry for keeping you all waiting, it's just I had some last minute paperwork that simply had to be finished before the party began." Mr. Body said as he walked over to his seat.

"I trust that dinner is already Abel?"

"Of course sir." Abel replied as he nodded to the other servants and walked into the kitchen with them.

Shortly after an uncomfortable silence they came back out and put out small plates of salads for everyone, a smug smile on Abel's face that made Taryn nervous.

"We're having a four-course meal tonight if none of you mind. My cook Ian was just so excited when he heard that we were having guests and he just couldn't decided what to make, so i told him to make it all." mr. Body informed everyone as he folded out his napkin across his lap.
"Besides, this will give us all time to talk, and think. Right mister president?" Body asked as he looked at Ben Luxford.

Charlie sighed and looked at her watch. Like she needed this right now. She was a busy person and wasting at some stupid party that the host hadn't even shown up to yet was not going to look good.

She jumped when Jon Body entered the room. She muttered, "Finally," under her breath and hoped that this wouldn't be too much of a waste of her time.

Jasielle stood quietly by the door and watched the guests with interest. She was playing the game where she would guess what Mr. Body has on them. So far she felt disgusted and interguied by the guests. Jasielle said nothing as Mr. Body entered. She wasn't suppose to do anything. Jasielle had learned that the hard way.

Luxford scowled and took off his hat. Damn that man, revealing his presence like that. He just wished they could get it over with, instead of Body just toying with them. It was unbearable. He should be treated like this. He was the President of the United States!

Misa gasped as the President revealed himself. The President of the country, here? Just what was he doing here? Wasn't he suppose to be at the White House, doing something important? What could Body possibly want him for?

So, that's how far his connections can run. He can even blackmail the most powerful man in the world, Lacus thought, disgusted at her boss. At least it would all end tonight.

Ekul's mind started racing as the President revealed himself. Of course, it all made sense now! If the President was here, that could only mean one thing: He was Body's pawn in an conspiracy started by the Hive. Of course, that meant Body had a higher rank in the Hive than he had thought. With President Luxford here, it meant that the Hive must be going into overdrive, accelerating their plans of brainwashing the world's youth via toothpaste and beginning the colonization.....this was going to be great for his next novel! But making money could wait. He couldn't let the Hive win the battle tonight.

"So, who else is a pawn in your little game Body? Is the Potenate of China going to be visitng us too? What other Hive officals are coming?" Ekul demanded.

Jasielle was a little thrown off when the President revealed himself. She never thought her boss would go so low. To blackmail the most powerful man in the world? Jasielle knew something had to be done or else Body was going to destory more lives. And that included her's too, not that it wasn't already destoried.

Charlie raised an eyebrow at the guy who claimed to be the President and then when some guy went off about some Hive. She couldn't believe this.

"What the hell is going on," she demanded.

"No need to panic so quickly Ekul. I don;t have any pawns, only guests of course. I suppose maybe I should just bring out my gifts earlier then intended to show you just how close a friendship I have with all of you. Would that make everyone happy?" mr. Body asked as he was annoyed by the conspiracy theorist.

"I guess that means we wont be holding the reading in the study." Abel realized, annoyed that not only would he have to leave the dining room to get the files, but that a wrench was thrown into his plan as well. "Be right back." The servant whispered to Jasielle before leaving the room.
