After pushing and pulling people behind so he could move forward, Trent finally made his way into one of the shelters. If this wasn't safe, he'd be dead, and this was not the way he wanted to die. Not that he wanted to die soon, but he had always pictured himself falling to a worthy opponent, whatever or whoever that might be.

Dolores rushed through the closing gates of one of the shelters. The screams of the terrified people being locked out and the shrieks of whatever monstrosity coming down onto the town combined, causing an unholy and terrifying noise that caused the hairs on the back of Dolores neck to stand.
