Alice looked down.
"I'm sorry. I didn't want to be a burden." she whispered.

Esmeralda

Embracing Alice, she spoke softly and reassuringly, "Sweetheart, don't be rediculous! You are not a burden, you're a girl in trouble and I'm not letting you go to Thebes alone." Looking at the girl, she stroked her cheek with her thumb, "Alright? Now what I need you to do, is get a good night's sleep, because in the morning, we're taking our first steps to Thebes."

Smiling, she tapped Alice on the nose, "And I promise you, I will share a bed if it keeps you from running away, make no mistake!"

"Okay. Thank you." Alice resigned, she went over and crawled into tue bed tiredly. She realized that she wouldn't hqve been able to leave anyway. She was too happy here to leave them behind so soon.

(I was going to introduce Skippy once people started getting to Thebes, with him already there. I'm fine with not having him there, though. The thing is, it'll probably be about two more weeks until I get my laptop back, so if you're fine with me taking forever to respond with Skippy, then they can go ahead and meet up.)

Eilonwy bit her lip as she slowed and then glanced over at Wendy as the girl sat down. She wanted to keep going, she really did, but she was just so exhausted. It was going to be yet at least another day before she found the source of the dark power she was seeking.

"Then we'll simply have to pick up our pace," she said to Meg. "But that's for us to worry about in the mornng. Right now we just need to worry about dinner. I have some food with me, but not much. It's certainly not enough for all of us."

Meg

"You're right, only problem is: We can only go so fast on foot, but luckily we're pretty close to a large trade city. We should be able to get ride out." she said, unstrapping her sandals, "As for food, I'm going to show a little something..."

Standing up, Meg approached a nearby tree and reaching up, she broke off a sturdy but flexible branch, "Here in Greece, you pick up a few hobbies, not that all of them are by choice, mind you, but they come in handy; this one is called fishing..." she said, opening up her suitcase to find a conveniently placed lengthy piece of string.

"Not quite what you'd normally use, but for now...it'll do, now come on and we'll get this started," she said, motioning for Eilonwy to follow, "You two sit tight, we'll be back with some food...depending on how rusty my fishing skills are..."

Eilonwy followed after Meg. Her bauble hovered over the two children for a moment before shooting forward and swirling around the princess. She giggled at the silly thing and then knocked it away with her hand. It fell back, shook itself, and then darted forward.

"I'm not too bad at fishing," Eilonwy said as she caught up to Meg. "Not the greatest, but good enough to keep me alive." She couldn't stomach hunting much, and so fishing had been the majority of her meat diet while traveling.

Kronk frowned a bit as he sat at a table in the inn. It was morning and he had been treating himself to breakfast only to find that his bacon was burnt and the eggs were still runny. What kind of faux establishment was this anyway?

With that in mind, he rose and headed for the kitchen, pushing the cook out of the way when he complained before setting some meet over the oven, "Alright. Let's see if I still got it."

Malificent

Malificent sneered at Sinclair's presumptuousness, as though Malificent owed this human any answers!

"It is of no concern to you who, or what I am," She stated, sounding almost bitter in reply. "I am simply here to offer you, and your men, an escape from certain doom," Malificent added.

Alice yawned and woke up. She got up and brushed her hair out.
"Miss lady, time to wake up!" she sing-songed happily as she put on her robe and slippers.

Helga

Helga blinked and gave an uncertain nod. If this...thing ould do that to her gun, and appear in her tent without alerting everyone in camp, then she likely could do...something like that.

"I'm listening."

Malificent

"You are leading a group of mercenaries down here, are you not? I need a few tools right now, considering how busy I am at the moment," Malificent stated as she gripped her sceptre, a smug and calculating expression on her face.

"Here's the deal, I teleport you back up, back to the surface of the planet, and you kill a few people for me. It's not like you haven't done it before. You did just willingly wipe out the remains of an entire race of people," She pointed out. "I will pay your group handsomely for each kill as well, if it shuts your team up," She finished. It was a simple deal after all.

Helga

Helga gritted her teeth, hating the idea of being referred to as somone's "tool". But...it was an offer that couldn't be refused, no matter what they might have to do. Without Milo Thatch, they were as good as lost down here, and they'd all likely die here, too, without help.

"....Fine. That sounds...acceptable." Helga replied.

Hm. She hoped this deal with this "devil" didn't come back to haunt her.

Malificent

Malificent said nothing in reply at first, instead smiling smugly as Helga consented to her offer. Humans were so predictable.

"Enjoy the sunrise," She stated in reply as the green glow flashed out of her again, hitting Helga and then spreading out amgonst the camp. When the soldiers awoke, they would be hit with the smells of a forest and unpleasant sunlight as well.

(Don't worry. It isn't. It was planned after all.)

Helga

When Helga awoke, she immediately noticed a stream of light blinding one of her eyes, coming from a slightly open part of her tent. The commander blinked before the events of the previous night came back to her, and she immediately rushed from her tent.

A wide and vast forest surrounded their little campsite. Helga blinked again and took a deep breath, enjoying the feel of fresh air. And the sun felt nice as well. How long had it been since she'd last seen sunlight, anyway? A matter of weeks, no doubt. It was...wonderful, being back up on the surface, yet, at the same time this was all so...disorienting.

"Christ....what am I going to tell everyone?" Helga muttered to herself. It wasn't like she could just say some green-skinned witch had teleported them all here...

Malificent

Malificent stood at the edge of the camp, a satisfied expression on her face as she sent mentally sent who the first target was to Sinclair. This one would be easy hunting. Even for these humans.

Vinny yawned a bit as he exited out of his tent, scratching his "equipment" before taking a look around, expecting dull and grey rock as usual. Instead, he saw green. And more green. He was in a forest.

"Am I in heaven? No, I'd think I'd end up in the Other Place. But I always imagined the Other Place to have more... fire," he mused.

Esmeralda

Slowly rousing from her sleep, the Gypsy looked over at Alice, a smile gracing her lips, "I'm up, I'm up..." she muttered, sitting up so that she could stretch, "It's been a while since I slept in a real bed." she responded, chuckling at the young girl's name for her.

"I guess it's about breakfast time, right?" she asked, getting dressed, "Djali, come on, get up you silly goat!" she said, shaking the snoring animal awake, bleating grumpily as he shook himself awake.

Meg

"Good to hear, because I haven't been fishing in a while..." she said, pondering what she'd use as a hook, "Well, had to happen some time..." she murmured, taking off her ear rings. "Kid, look at it this way, you're probably better than me, so with that in mind, we'll take turns."

Twisting the clasps into a hook, she tied the string to it, carefully climbing down the rocky coast to the water; sitting down on a fairly large out-cropping, "Alright, we seem to be lacking bait...but I've seen worse catch fish with less..." arching the branch back, "It's all in the technique..." she said, and just before she cast, a wave struck, leaving a heap of fish in her lap.

"Ta-da," deadpanned a glower Meg, a fish flopping up and down on her head.

Ursula

"My, oh my...seems someone's been through my things..." commented the sea witch as she slithered through her dwelling, "Seems dear sister has been somewhat...active while I've been away." she muttered, trying to get things somewhat cleared up.

Running a hand through her hair, she looked into her spell basin, a bubble rising up as the image of a ship took shape, "Well, well, seems we have some visitors...Boris, Ferral, give them a warm welcome..." she said, two large sharks grinning viciously as the took off towards the surface.

They weren't the same as her babies, but nothing she could help after that little tramp and her...friends, caused her to blast them to bits. Hopefully this little deal she has going with Maleficent will see Triton's trident back into her hands...

Helga

Helga looked around the camp, for a moment, in took in the sight of the beautiful forest. After nodding slightly to herself, she started back into the camp, going toward a specific tent. A few of her men were already up, it seemed, and many of them were still taking in the fact that they were now back on the surface, based on the awed looks of many of the mercenaries.

Helga Sinclair stopped at her destination. She opened the flap of Sweet's tent, and knelt beside the sleeping man. Sinclair lightly shook the colored man.

"Wake up, Doc. Now's not the time to be sleeping."

Peter

Peter had been taking a light nap in his bunk when he suddenly felt the ship lurch violently. The young Englishman immediately leapt to his feet and headed back to the main deck, where chaos was erupting among the sailors. Peter took the nearest man aside.

"What's happening? Are we under attack?"

The frightened man nodded. "Y-Yes! We've seen fins under water, and something appears to be trying to capsize the ship! It might be sharks!"

NPC

"Hey! You, up there!" a soldier shouted up at Sitka. "By order of the Potenate Frollo, you must come down at once!"

Mulan

Mulan and her family walked down the stairs and headed toward the breakfast area of the inn. After seeing there was no food, curiously enough, Mulan decided to head into the kitchen. She gave a confused blink after seeing Kronk cooking various things in there.

"....What are you doing, Kronk?"

"Well, I'm fixing up two Adam's and Eve's on a rafter and wrecking them," Kronk stated as he puffed the fire beneath the grill cooking four eggs, "An Angels on Horseback, and fixing up a biddy board and black water. How was your night?"

"Oh, and I need to thaw a couple of saddles," he remembered, grabbing Mushu from around her neck and squeezing him to produce fire at two big slabs of meat.

Alice looked over.
"Yay! Breakfast! I'm so hungry!" She said, bouncing around in her slippers.
"Dinah is hungry too!" She exclaimed holding the kitten in front of Esmerelda's face.

Mulan, Mushu

Against the dragon/lizard/ thing's will, Mushu coughed up a large blast of fire, heating the two slabs of meat that Kronk pointed him at. Immediately, the dragon managed to get out of Kronk's iron grip (somehow) and clamered on back to Mulan's shoulders. Mushu glared at Kronk and hissed at him.

"That was uncalled for! I demand retribution!"

Mulan, ignoring her dragon's melodramatic plight, simply nodded at Kronk as she tried to make sense out of that jargon.

"Well...ok. So....when will breakfast be ready?" the Chinese woman asked.

Esmeralda

Scratching the kitten's head, she smiled, "I'll bet she is! Growing kittens need their breakfast, and so do you," she said, tickling Alice as she stood up, Djali bleating in agreement as he hopped off the bed after her.

Alice giggled and tried to run away. She laughed and fell down.
"come on, let's go eat! " she yelled. She was used to very refined upper class meals, so she was expecting very different from what she would be getting.

"Sorry little guy. Oh, and it should be about 10 minutes," Kronk told Mulan without missing a beat as he added a couple more eggs to the stove, "I'll be right there."

Hey, I can help with that, Kronk's devil whispered in Mushu's ear, appearing on his head, I know the big guy like the back of my own hand.

Now, thou shall not seek retribution Kronk's angel stated, only to be pushed off Mushu's head and disappear in a poof.
