Book 2.5: The Great Fights (Teen) {Open/Spots still open}

"We should camp," Haru said looking at the sky. "You know. So we'd be together for one more night."

"You make it sound like we won't ever see eachother again," On Ji pointed out. She didn't want to think of that.

"We might not," Jet said truthfully. But seeing the sad look on On Ji's face, he continued fastly. "I mean who knows what we will be doing after this is all over."

"I think we should all meet up again. You know after it is over."

"That sounds like a great idea." Jin pipped up. She hoped the Avatar would be ok in his coming journey. After all, the world depended on him.

"So, were should we land? I think we've put enough distance between us and Ba Sing Se." Suki said.

Sokka/Katara

"Ok. How about down there then, by the river." Katara suggested as she leaned over the edge and studied the land below them. "The trees will give us a nice cover and looking for food shouldn't be too hard."

"I agree. Do you think there will be any berries there?" Aang asked Katara hopefully. He didn't want to resort to going hungry if all they had was fish.

Katara/Mai

Katara smiled warmly as she looked back at Aang. "I'm sure that there's berries or some kind of fruit down there Aang. We'll look right after we're done setting up camp."

"Great. Fruit and fish, sounds like the perfect food for camping." Mai said in exasperation, her tone implying she hated the idea of having anything to do with camping.

"Come on," Teo said, elbowing Mai slightly, "It's like one of the tales. We're all camping with the Avatar, planning on fighting tyranny. There's also the handsome prince, yeah, I saw you eying him. You're almost as obvious as Aang."

"I can probably find something as well," Jet said, trying to be helpful. He was a pretty good hunter.

"Well as long as we aren't straving I don't care what we eat," Toph said. Haru nodded.

Suki, Jin

"I can help find wood for our fire, and help with the search for edible food. The Kyoshi Warriors were trained for situations like these." Suki offered.

"Then I guess we may as well land now," Jin commented.

Zuko/Mai/Sokka/Katara

Mai snorted as she heard Teo talk. "Zuko, yeah right." She replied before looking away from anyone, her cheeks a bright red.

"I'll help with the fishing. I have the most experience obviously, since I was the only man in our village for two years and I did the majority of the fishing." Sokka explained as he tried to seem tough and experienced.

"Sokka, every time you went fishing you hurt yourself, remember the incident with the two fish hooks?" Katara commented, obviously amused with her Brother.

"I know he couldn't catch anything when we were camping. It was embarrassing." Mai spoke up as she continued to look over the side of the skybison, looking as though she were just taking in the view.

"I'll help with the fire." Zuko offered quietly.

"I can make rock huts," Toph said, feeling like she should offer something. You can still sleep with your sleeping bags."

"Nah I like watching the sky," Jet said.

"Then I'll make the firepit. I want to do something."

"I'll go with Katara," Aang volunteered, to which, Teo smirked. It was obvious to anyone with a brain that the bald monk had a crush on the Water Tribe girl.

"I guess, I'll help cook," Teo offered with a shrug.

Mai/Katara/Sokka

"I don't." Mai replied to Jet after hearing the boy talk about wanting to see the sky. "So you might as well make a few rock huts." Mai informed Toph as she looked towards the blind girl.

"I'm not that bad at fishing." Sokka muttered, slightly hurt and offended by Mai's and Katara's comments.

Katara ignored Mai's and Sokka's complaining as she smiled at Aang. "Great, it shouldn't take us too long to find some berries, Aang. I'm pretty sure there are some Babaco trees down there, we can look for those first."

"That's good," Aang said, relieved that he wouldn't have to eat meat. He could never understand Sokka's own fixation with meat. How could one eat the flesh of another living being?

Suki

"Well, go ahead and take us in, Aang." Suki said. Now that they had all that settled out, they could go ahead and land.

Toph nodded at Mai or at least the direction her voice came from.

"Got it."

"Priss," Jet muttered.

Aang nodded with a grin, allowing Appa to land with a happy groan. He patted his head affectionately and spoke, "Good job, buddy."

With that said, he leapt out of the saddle and began to survey their campsite. He spoke, "Come on Katara. I think I might have seen some gooseberries from above!"

Toph leapt off Appa and landed with a smile, glad to be back on the ground. If she could hug it she would have.

Jet and Haru got off as well. Jet scanned the area.

"Ok I'm off to find some food. I'll be back."

On Ji looked down, a little afraid to get off Appa since it was a little high.

Teo turned to On-Ji, reading her expression. He grinned at her to chair her up, "You can get off with me if you want. My wheel-chair has jumping-power."

On Ji nodded and sat on Teo's lap, wrapping her arms around his neck so she wouldn't go flying when they hit the ground. She was blushing as well, looking down at her lap.

"Thank you."

Teo grinned happily, blushing himself. He never thought he'd have a cute Fire Nation girl on his lap. He pushed a button on his wheel chair and it jumped off of Appa and onto the ground as he gripped On Ji tightly.

"You're welcome. Maybe I can take you gliding sometime."

"That sounds like fun," On Ji told Teo, getting him go. Her face was a deep red color and she got off Teo's lap.

Teo grinned at her and nodded, "Good. We can do it as soon as this war thing is over."

(OOC: Who's going to tease those two?)

"Aww Teo you got yourself a girlfriend," Toph said, after making a few rock huts. "I always knew you had it in you."

If it was possible, On Ji felt her face burn even harder. "No...it's...it's not like that."

Haru chuckled at them, secretly glad to be able to tease someone else.

Jet looked around the woods searching for signs of any animals. He didn't want anything too big, but he didn't want anything too small either.

"Yeah! We're just friends!" Teo said with a blush, feeling his heart skip a beat. He glared over at Toph and crossed his arms before turning to Haru, "Hey, Haru, let's not forget how you and Jet are secretly gay for each other!"

"Stop saying that," Haru yelled very loudly, his own face getting hot. "At least I never sat on his lap!"

On Ji pleaded the earth to shallow her, but it didn't happen. Toph smiled, pleased with herself.

"God Haru. Could you yell any louder? I'm sure the Fire Nation didn't hear you yet."
