+Anima the Roleplay part 2 (Because part 1 was burried alive.)

Carter got tired of tickling Amanda after a little while-- especially when she started kicking him.

"Hey," he said. "That's unnecessary. There's no need to be an abusive girlfriend and kick me." He fake glared at her, before smiling a little bit.

"So... are you hungry? Because I'm starving?" he said, wondering if he had anything other than energy drinks stashed around his room. Hm... probably not. He sighed, not really wanting to venture upstairs where his parents were. It would only make him feel awkward and uncomfortable, which was weird. Usually when Carter was around his parents, he just felt frustrated.

Amanda smirked back at him, laughing only a little bit until she was finished with that. She sat up and looked back at him.

"Well, if you really want to go upstairs and face your parents..." she said. Like usual, she didn't admit that she was hungry. Just like last time... eating breakfast together the way they had. She smiled at the memory.

"But... if you're really hungry, it can't be that bad to just go up there... I mean..."

"Carter!... Uh... Amanda! If you two want to eat, I have lunch ready!" Mrs. Landon shouted down the stairs, somewhat unnecessarily.

Amanda looked over at Carter, as if to ask him what he wanted to do now.

Carter grunted at Amanda's comment. It would be that bad. No, it would be worse than that bad. Carter wasn't prepared to go upstairs to have to search for something to eat.

"Carter!... Uh... Amanda! If you two want to eat, I have lunch ready!"

"Hm... works for me," Carter said, shrugging. He was really hungry, and who would turn down an already-prepared meal? It was common sense.

"I can bring it down for us if you don't want to go upstairs," he said, almost wishing he hadn't. If he was up there alone, his parents could intervene and give him a 'talk'. Carter just wasn't prepared for that. "Actually, Amanda, you're coming with me, whether you like it or not. I'm going to be a controlling boyfriend and make you come up with me."

Amanda nodded as Carter spoke at first. She knew it would be awkward for him to go up there, but if he wanted to bring the food down...

"Actually, Amanda, you're coming with me, whether you like it or not. I'm going to be a controlling boyfriend and make you come up with me."

Amanda sighed dramatically and trailed on behind him.

"Nah, you know I wear the pants in this relationship, right?" she said, as they started for the stairs.

((Wow, I haven't even watched the series yet, and I know about the general contraversial stuff in Sailor Moon and other random/unnecessary trivia about it... oh Wikipedia...))

Jade kept his arm around Caresa's waist as she got out of the car, supporting her. Even though Caresa was hurt, he couldn't help but feel so blissfully happy that he was with Caresa. It was cold outside in the storm, so he put his coat around Caresa so she wouldn't get cold. "How are you feeling? Are you up to talking?" He asked his bleeding lover.

Mrs. Pierce got out of the car, and walked around to the other side, near the front so she could face Jade and Caresa. "What do you need me to do?" she asked. Jade turned his attention to his mother for a second.

"Get the washroom ready, and grab the first aid kit, and the box from my room." he ordered his mother, who nodded in response and ran inside. Then he looked back at Caresa. "I hope this won't make things too awkward, but once we're inside, I'll need you to take off your shirt." he informed her.

Caresa immediately felt the cold again after they had stepped out of the car. She smiled weakly at Jade, as he draped his coat around her.

"How are you feeling? Are you up to talking?"

Caresa nodded again, although she was beginning to feel a little weak.

"Fine... I... I can talk," she said, quietly. She did want to talk to him. She wanted to enjoy the time that they had with each other, in spite of the circumstances. She watched as Jade spoke to his mother, and then he turned back toward her.

"I hope this won't make things too awkward, but once we're inside, I'll need you to take off your shirt."

Despite the cold, she blushed. Yesterday she'd had to have her bandages changed, with a different friend of hers, but... this was Jade. She knew she shouldn't worry; she needed to do this, if she was going to get well. Although somewhat dazed, her mind still wandered...

She nodded.

"Y-Yeah, that's fine," she replied, quietly.

"Nah, you know I wear the pants in this relationship, right?"

"Ha. It's like you think that you're above me in this relationship, when it's clearly me. The man always wear's the pants in the relationship. You might be older, but I'm clearly the pants- wearer," Carter said, rolling his eyes at her.

He reached the top of the stairs and walked into the kitchen. His mom had made turkey sandwiches and had a couple bags of chips sitting near them.

"Thanks, Mom," he said, grabbing plates and putting the sandwiches on them. Carter handed Amanda her plate and grabbed a bag of chips. "Okay. We're going back downstairs." He started heading toward the stairs, being careful not to drop anything.

"Uh, that's a lie, Carter. Don't lie to yourself..." Amanda said, quieting when they arrived upstairs.

Mrs. Landon opened her mouth to speak when Carter thanked her and promptly handed his girlfriend her plate. Amanda took it, appearing to have more difficulty balancing the plate and chips than Carter did. He seemed quite eager to go back downstairs...

"Um, thank you, Mrs. Landon," Amanda said, before carefully following Carter back toward the stairs.

Amanda desperately hoped she wouldn't drop anything. As if she needed anymore clumsiness today.

Carter had chosen to ignore Amanda's 'it's all a lie...' comments. He ignored them on the way up, and he refused to think about them on the way down. Amanda was the liar. If girls wore the pants in relationships, then the pants would be skirts.

Carter hadn't realized he said that out loud until a few moments afterward. He was suddenly very glad that Amanda was holding a plate and chips. Unless she chose to kick him, which wouldn't work out very well for Carter. He began walking a little faster as he reached his room. He turned toward Amanda, trying to figure out how angry she was by the look on her face.

((eh, pro'lly not...))

Amanda was extremely angry, and despite her well-known clumsiness, began to speed up after Carter. She set down her food on a table in the basement living room and kicked Carter in the leg, glaring up at him. Oh, he was going to get it...

Carter sucked in a breath when Amanda kicked his leg. He had to admit, as nerdy as she could be, the girl had strong legs. And that didn't really work out for him, because now Carter was never entirely safe to joke about anything sexist around her. Although he had gotten away with more comments around Amanda than with his last girlfriend.

Looking over at Amanda, Carter saw that she was still quite pissed off. That was very bad for him.

"So... we should eat our lunch now..."

Amanda still glared at Carter, as she began to eat the sandwich that Carter's mother had prepared. Well, at least he knew he couldn't get away with those stupid sexist jokes around her. Maybe she should amp that up a little bit... eh. So long as he didn't actually believe what he joked about, she was... not really okay with it, but that didn't mean she needed to be a jerk about it all the time. All the time, anyway.

Damien sat in his car, about three blocks away, listening to the radio softly as it was muffled by the storm. Songs played after announcements and cancellations due to the storm, and the pattern kept on repeating. He ignored the warnings that it was best not to travel, to stay away from windows, and retreat to a basement or other shelter. He would do that... when he had Amanda with him.

He glanced down the blocks, through the yards, having seen Mr. and Mrs. Landon arrive at their home nearly twenty-five minutes ago. It still wasn't a good time to go back and get her. He knew that he was being quite... creepy, just sitting around there in the middle of the storm, but their conversation, their... everything, was not, absolutely not over.

Carter ignored Amanda's glare, figuring that he would get very used to those within the next couple months. As Carter was ignoring Amanda's glare, he also took a bite out of his sandwich. It was surprisingly good, which made Carter realize that he should eat more actual food instead of packing away drink after energy drink (even though he was too addicted to energy drinks to give them up in any way).

He knew he wouldn't be away with too many sexist comments, but Carter knew he would still manage to find ways to slip those into conversations. For as much as a jerk Carter would be to her, he knew that Amanda would be just as mean back to him.

"So yeah, do energy drinks keep you up at all anymore? I mean, you'd think you would be pretty resistant to their 'strength'..." Amanda asked randomly. She didn't like them, as was already established. Not to mention that they hyped her up... a little too much. Coffee didn't do that to her anymore, but they still managed to give her enough caffeine to stay up until 3 in the morning on school nights to study and finish projects she'd procrastinated for a month or two.

It was absolutely amazing that she was doing as well as she was. And amazing that it could simply fall out from under her at one misstep. Amanda pushed the thought from her mind and focused on the now again. Today was really strange so far... and yet, in spite of creepy teachers and tickling's and sexist comments and awkward parents, it was turning out pretty well.

Damien's face was a mask of calm in such a storm. His dark eyes, behind the lenses of his glasses (the cool ones with black frames), were on the home a few blocks away and his damp dark hair in front of them.

Appearance: Cross this with a little bit of L-ishness from Death Note, and you have Damien. Also more Damien-ish His glasses look a little more like these. Damien usually wears collared shirts and black pants or khakis.

Affiliation: Altar Boys/Crusaders. No longer active in the gang--he despises the +Anima, but he does not openly express this view to everyone he meets, and especially not his students.
Personality: Damien is private, pessimistic/"realistic", and cynical. He was not always this way, however. He is very sarcastic, and often pushes people's buttons. He has a rather morbid and dry sense of humor, when he expresses it, which is not often. Also, he can be a bit of a control-freak, but he does not often exhibit this trait in the classroom.
History: Damien's family was strictly religious, in a church that was almost to the point of being a cult. Anti +Anima propaganda had been shoved down his throat since he was a child, and boys between the ages of 12 and 15 were all required to join their branch of the Altar Boys. At age 14, Damien joined. He fought with a violent passion against the demonic vermin that were the +Anima to him. One year later, his sister, Jeni (pronounced like Jenny), was forced to join as a spy, though she had feelings entirely contrary to those of her church and her family. Yet she did her job, because of the consequences of not listening to the demands of the Altar Boys. Damien and Jeni were once close, before they joined the gang. And he knew of her rebellious feelings. The two often argued over this. But one night, when Damien was 16, his sister 15, they got into a large debate and argument, that ended with her leaving the house. Damien went to sleep in frustration at her inability to see the "light". The morning afterward, him and his family discovered her in her bed, still and pale, looking as though she was asleep--but she wasn't breathing. On her stand, was the note expressing how she truly felt about the +Anima, and how she couldn't possibly believe that God would want people to torture or kill someone the way the Altar Boys had, and how wrong she felt the hatred was. Not only this, but she revealed that she had been in a deep relationship with a +Anima boy behind their back. After this incident, Damien was forever changed--but one thing stayed with him. His hatred for the +Anima. It only deepened. Blaming himself for his sister's death proved too painful, and he decided to blame it on the boy his sister had supposedly "loved"--he convinced himself that this guy was the one who'd driven her to this extreme. It took him two years however, to finally get his revenge on him. It had been a week since the last fight with the Beasts, one right after graduation. He'd tracked the boy down. Late that Sunday night, he broke into his house, knowing Dan was alone. All the rage he'd been holding in for him was released, and he didn't stop beating him down, and he didn't realize how far he'd gone until it was almost too late. Damien took his packed bags and fled town that night. He cut off ties with his parents, and went to a school out of state, deciding to leave everything behind. He bounced from job to job, until he'd found a decent teaching job in a high school in a town only 23 miles away from his old hometown. As much as he'd wanted to leave, and as painfully similiar Humbleton was to his old town, he came there anyway. He's been working at the school now for a year, two counting his year as a student teacher. One of his reasons for staying was a particularly disorganized, but intelligent, student named Amanda. He met her through working with her after school and helping her get into programs that would help her get into her aimed career. He saw, in spite of her "flaws", some sort of brilliant potential in her. And her drive reminded him of someone he used to know. Not only this, but he began to feel an attracted to her, despite all attempts not to. And after many years of shunning people out of his life, he was beginning to feel somewhat lonely. Months after they'd began working together after school, one day, inspired by her obvious addiction to coffee, he took her to a coffeeshop to "study". And things went spiraling from there. Even though they've only been "together" for a little over a week, he doesn't want to lose her and desperately wants them to be more in the relationship.

"Psh.... The day I'm immune to energy drinks will be a sad day. I mean, while they don't have me bouncing off walls anymore, they keep me awake enough to survive going t school. I think I literally would not be able to function one day without at least one," Carter answered before taking a bite of his sandwich.

Some people might say his addiction to caffeine was bad for him, but Carter didn't believe that. He probably needed all that sugar to stay alive anyway. He was still stick-thin, so that must mean that his metabolism had sped up to control his sugar intake. He would probably look anorexic in three days without an energy drink... assuming he could last that long without one....

Amanda sighed. She self-conciously made an attempt to eat a little slower, taking smaller bites of her sandwich. ((Leah... cut waffle piece, stab waffle piece with fork, insert into mouth, chew, swallow, repeat...)) She nodded.

"Yeah, I guess that makes sense. I'm sort of addicted to coffee... I don't dare touch energy drinks, though," she said, not explaining the fact that they did continue to make her bounce of the walls. She assumed he already understood that she didn't like the taste of them. Although, there were those Starbucks and cold coffee energy drinks. It just didn't seem right to her.

"Ugh, how do you manage to stay so skinny, Carter? Stupid male metabolism..." she muttered. She thought she sounded less intelligent when she started thinking and talking about weight and appearance, but she couldn't help herself.

((AHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!! <3's Kainni and Max. It was Maximus, right?))

Carter took a large bite of his turkey sandwich, nearly coughing it up in the process of swallowing.

"Ugh. I still can't believe you actually drink coffee. It's like someone burned crap and made it into a drink," Carter said, sticking his tongue out. He didn't even like the Monster mixed with coffee. Whoever had decided to mix such a wonderful drink with such a terrible one deserved to rot. They were probably some stupid +Anima vermin.

"Ugh, how do you manage to stay so skinny, Carter? Stupid male metabolism..."

"Hey," he said. "Not all guys are skinny. Some are really fat. You just happen to be dating one of the skinny ones.

And, you're not fat, Amanda. Girls are too self concious. If you look good, and you do, and you're comfortable with youself, guys will generally be attracted to you. Unless you're a nerd. Which you are... but... I still like you despite everything."

Carter finished by taking another bite of his sandwich.

"Psh, those energy drinks are just... no. Just no. Plus they get normal people wired as heck. And sometimes that is not very pleasant," Amanda replied.

She took another minute bite of her sandwich, then swallowed.

"Well, um, thank you, I guess. So I'm a likable nerd? That's good to know."

((FINE! I'll start the KyrinexGabriel post. :p Be happy, Natty; I hate being decisive.))

"Oh, so I"m not normal, then?" Carter asked, pretending to be hurt. "And I can't help it that freaks like you get wired as heck."

Carter also took another bite of his sandwich and wondered how much more of it he would be able to eat. One meal consisting of food a day was enough for him, and Carter's mom made pretty big sandwiches.

"No. You're actually a hate-able nerd, which is why I'm choosing to go out with you." He rolled his eyes. Of course Amanda was a likable nerd... or at least she was now.

Kyrine fiddled with the lock on the front door, trying to get her key to work. It didn't seem to be on the same track as her, however, because the door just wasn't opening.

This annoyed Kyrine severely because both her and Gabriel were already soaked completely from walking to her house in the storm. She hadn't wanted to go at first, not wanting to be in the middle of the storm, but being with Gabriel had made the decision a little easier.

At least they had been able to talk comfortably the whole time they walked.

((*coughcough* Consummation tiiiiiime! XDDD Gosh, I can't believe you did that with my boyfriend, Leah. D': ))

"Watch it," Amanda replied, as she stared down at her food. She guiltily swallowed another bite of sandwich. Carter seemed to be having an even more difficult time eating it all than she did. Amanda rolled her eyes and smiled at Carter's sarcasm.

"You're very abnormal, Carter. Which is why I'm choosing to go out with you."

Once inside Jade had brought Caresa to their upstairs bathroom, which his mother had set up so he could work on Caresa. He brought her into the small bathroom holding her close to him, making sure she didn't fall, and because he wanted to. He sat her down on the toilet, and opened the first aid kit. He turned to look at Caresa. "As perverted as this will sound, could you take your shirt off for me?" He asked.

Gabriel had his arm around Kyrine. He, like his wife was happy to be with her, but found locks pretty god damn annoying. As Kyrine fiddled Gabriel was weighing his options. "Should I kick down the door, or should I lift you up to your window?" He asked.

"I'm thinking the window," Kyrine replied. "My mom is a little... spastic, so I know she would freak out over the door being kicked down, and my window might be unlocked." She sighed, wishing that the stupid door would have just opened. Kyrine didn't even know if her window was unlocked. She was pretty sure it was, as the weather had seemed pretty nice, but she still wasn't entirely certain.

Carter put down his half-eaten sandwich and pushed the plate away. He'd had his full food limit for the day.

"I'm abnormal? That hurts. I mean, I know my hair is a standout, but abnormal? I just can't believe you would say that, Amanda," Carter said, sniffing like he was hurt.

Caresa followed Jade up the stairs, leaning heavily on Jade for support as they climbed them. She sat down and looked at Jade as he turned to face her.

"As perverted as this will sound, could you take your shirt off for me?"

Caresa blushed again as he spoke, despite the cold that had been outside. Slowly and hesitantly, she started removing her shirt.

Amanda stared at Carter's sandwich and also pushed away her plate. She didn't want to eat more than him, even after their little conversation earlier.

Amanda fake-sighed in feigned exasperation.

"Awwww, I'm sorry Carter. I didn't mean to make you upset. And yes, your hair is definitely a standout."

Gabriel nodded, and smiled at Kyrine. "Don't worry, we'll get in." Gabriel assured her. He took his hand and wiped the soggy hair away from Kyrine's eyes, leaned in and kissed her for a second, and then pulled away, his cheeks a little red in embarrassment. "Sorry, I couldn't help myself. It's hard not to kiss you when you look so beautiful." he commented, wondering if he had gone overboard. "So, lead the way." He said, smiling at Kyrine.

Jade couldn't help but feeling a little aroused as Caresa removed her shirt, as all boys would, but he didn't let it show. Of course any feeling of physical attraction was taken out by the wound on her stomach... mostly. But her cuts were pretty bad. The gashes were fairly deep, and she looked like she was losing a lot of blood. He tried to smile. "Well you've certainly got a beautiful body." he said, trying to be positive, only then realizing how sexist and shallow it made him seem.
