+Anima the Roleplay part 2 (Because part 1 was burried alive.)

((Nathaniel, I was hanging up with you, but then I saw part of this post... and I laughed hysterically. Why, I cannot explain. Or can I? Still, I laughed hysterically. That is so... wow. CALIANTE! And would you do this if I were bleeding and you had to change my bandages? Pervmuffin. xP *jk* I love you...))

Caresa blushed profusely at this entire exchange, completely unable to look Jade in the eye. Especially when he said:

"Well, you've certainly got a beautiful body."

It seemed like he was just trying to be positive. She certainly didn't feel like she had a beautiful body right now, especially right now. And what a thing to think about when one was dressing someone's wounds! However... though Caresa had refused to admit it to herself earlier, she had wondered if she would ever take her shirt off again under other circumstances with Jade. With all the blushing she was doing, she was certainly warm now.

"Thank you," she mumbled to the floor, entirely unsure how to react. Caresa offered one glance up at him, at his tiny attempt to smile, and this guarded look in his eyes that seemed to be hiding something she'd never seen from a guy before, toward her.

((PAGECLAIM! For hopefully less sexual tension... but that's not gonna happen, is it? v.v' heh... It's my fault anyway.))

Kyrine smiled and nodded. She knew that Gabriel would manage to get them inside her house. Her face was also a little red after Gabriel kissed her and said she was beautiful. He really did need to stop complimenting her so much before her head grew to the size of Pluto which is totally a planet and people need to stop denying it.

"So, lead the way."

"Okay." Kyrine had to back up from the overhang that covered the porch so she could point Gabriel to her window. "It's the one on the right, right above the overhang," she said, pointing it out.

Carter watched Amanda push her sandwich away right after he did. He decided to try an experiment, and took another bite of his sandwich to see if Amanda would do the same.

"Awwww, I'm sorry Carter. I didn't mean to make you upset. And yes, your hair is definitely a standout."

"You should be sorry. Don't upset me; I can come up with more sexist jabs as quickly as you can breathe," Carter said. "And yes, my stupid hair is a standout. I wish it would have been a normal color."

Amanda watched as Carter took another bite of his sandwich, and she wasn't sure whether she should take another one out of hers as well. She pursed her lips for a moment and decided against it. Even though she was still a little hungry.

"If you get sexist, I get abusive. It's the rule, remember? And don't worry about your hair, Carter. You could always dye it..." Amanda said. "Just kidding, I like it."

Amanda smiled and messed up his hair with her hand. She wondered how he would react.

"I mean, you're pretty cute for a g_, I mean... you just wouldn't be Carter without that standoutly red hair. And stand-out-ly is a word. Because I said so."

Cecilla reviewed her most unusual conversation of the day as she walked home from school. She remembered the girl had a name that started with an A, but true to character could not remember what it was exactly.
"So who you texting?"
"A friend. He goes to the private school though, so you probably wouldn't know him."
Cecilla had had to go to her next class then, so the conversation was cut short. She relaxed her mind and allowed herself to be carried away by the music rolling through her headphones into her ears. She knew walking in a storm without even an umbrella was foolish, but she didn't care. All she knew was the feeling of the rain on her face, her soaking, silken hair on her face, and the music that seemed to pull her skeleton all by itself.
She figured she might as well give in, let loose, and dance. After all, it's not like anyone was around, right? She spun and jumped merrily as she passed by some parked cars at the side of the road. She had a smile on her face and giggled at herself.

Cara, after finally finding her way out of the hospital, got the strange feeling that somewhere nearby there was some jerk being sexist. She said so aloud too.

Damien was jolted awake in his car from another crack of thunder. He drew in a breath and gave a sideways glance back to Carter's house. There probably wouldn't be another time to try and get Amanda out of there this afternoon or evening. He was about to turn his keys to drive away, when he spotted a girl dancing and spinning and jumping through the rain, earbuds in her ears, rain pouring down her. She was in her own world among this terrible storm. And it seemed like it was even driving her on.

She seemed to believe no one was around to watch her. Admirable, yet it seemed ridiculous in this weather, letting loose like she was. In fact, it seemed ridiculous to Damien all the time. But he couldn't stop her from doing that. She seemed so content... but he couldn't just let someone walk in this storm (unless they were Carter). Or dance.

Tentatively, he rolled down his window.

"Are you alright out there?" he said, trying to shout over the storm, and the music that might be blasting through those tiny speakers in her ears.

Cecilla just about died when she heard the call. Her whole body tensed up like she had been caught doing something very, very naughty. Also, at the most inopportune time, she tripped and fell flat on her face. She lied still for a few moments, before peeling herself off of the wet ground and cracking up.

Laughing, she turned her head to where the voice had come from.

Carter felt somewhat disappointed when he saw that his experiment hadn't worked. He had really wanted Amanda to take another bite of her sandwich. Instead, all Carter could do was sigh.

"Oh yeah... I forgot that you got to abuse me whenever I said something true-- I mean sexist," Carter said, knowing he was about to get slapped.

"Don't even start to say the 'g-word'. Don't. And I might just dye my hair, despite your liking it. I don't care if it's 'standoutly'." He stuck his tongue out as Amanda messed with his hair. He wasn't one of those picky guys who flipped out about his hair, but he didn't particularly like people touching it.

Damien held his own laughter at the girl's fall, smothering it quickly with concern, before he saw her stand and begin cracking up as well. He snickered under his breath as he opened his door and stepped out. He walked over to her and offered his hand.

"Are you alright?" he said, slipping out the tiniest bit of laughter in his voice.

Amanda feigned glaring for a second, but decided against slapping Carter.

"Alright, alright, I deserved that," she said, after he made his little comment about the "g-word". She continued messing with his hair, however, to see if she would get anymore of a reaction.

"Alright, alright, I deserved that."

"You bet you did." Carter's ego had been severely shrunk by the ginger comment. That was an even lower blow than his failing grades. Someone could boil live babies in front of him and not be as bad someone who called him a ginger. Well, that might have been an exaggeration, but Carter hated being called ginger with a burning passion.

He glared at Amanda when she continued to mess with his hair.

"Stop right now, or I'll become the abusive one," he said, tone dead serious.

She gave the man one of her biggest smiles. This was the most fun she'd had all day. (Which said something about the state of the schools, but she wasn't going to think about that now.)

"Are you alright?" he asked her, with laughter lurking just behind the calmer front.

She took his hand and stood up. "Yeah, I'm fine. I was just a little startled. I thought I was alone out here!" She withdrew her hand and placed it so it cupped the back of her neck in a sheepish manner. She had calmed down a bit, but the amusement still colored her tone.

(Ok I want to. What has happened and what would be the best place to fit my characters in?)

((Well, basically a storm went on that got school fairly cancelled, so most students are either on their way home, getting picked up, or waiting to get picked up/heading home on their own. Peter and Antha can jump in anywhere you want them to, but I'd probably recommend somewhere around Cara or Cecillia and Damien.Cara is walking out of the hospital, Jade and Caresa are at Jade's house, Damien and Cecillia are in Carter's neighborhood somewhere; Gabriel and Kyrine are in Kyrine's house.))

"Fine," Amanda muttered, removing her hand from his hair and feigning a scowl. "Gosh, you actually sounded kinda threatening there, Carter," she said, sarcastically.

"It seemed like you were having a good time," Damien said, after she had stood up. He watched the way she sheepishly put her hand on her neck, and he saw that she was still amused from her own fall. He wondered if she lived around there. And he did not particularly recognize her from the school. Perhaps she was new to Humbleton.

"I'm Damien, by the way. I'm sorry for startling you."

He paused before going on.

"I don't mean to sound strange, but the storm doesn't seem like it'll be lightening up anytime soon. Would you like a ride home?"

((And thus, the crack became canon. x3))

Antha looked up at the hospital. She avoided them if she could, but today she had to walk by it to get home from the store. It was one of the reasons Antha didn't go grocey shopping much. But her mother convinced her to go today.

She saw a girl exit the hospital. She vaguely recognized her and she wondered if she should say hi.

Peter hummed as he walked down the street. He wasn't in a happy mood, but he rarely was these days.

The man decided to comment. "It seemed like you were having a good time, I'm Damien, by the way. I'm sorry for startling you." there was a pause"I don't mean to sound strange, but the storm doesn't seem like it'll be lightening up anytime soon. Would you like a ride home?"

Cecilla was about to say, 'As nice as you seem, I was one of the rare children who listened to their parents when they were ranting about not taking rides from strangers," but there was a blinding flash and an ominous Crack! that sounded too close for her comfort. She weighed her options. Plan A: continue walking home out in the open while the horrific storm rages above her head, chancing getting hit by lightning (which was more likely than she preferred to think about). Plan B: follow the instructions of an article she had been forced to read for English and get to the lowest point possible (which wouldn't be easy). Plan C: accept the ride and chance him being a creeper.

She decided that Plan C was the best option... on one condition...

"That depends. Are you a rapist, drug dealer, or a general creeper? Because if the answer is one of the above, I shall have to decline your offer." She smiled in a way that made it clear that she was joking, but only just. Then, remembering herself she added, "And please forgive my manners, my name is Cecilla. It's nice to meet you."

Damien laughed a little bit as she listed her reasons to decline his offer, which made perfect sense.

"No, I don't believe I am any of those. I am a teacher, though, if that concerns you at all," he replied. He almost reconsidered what he'd said about his occupation, but he was sure to see her at the school again soon. He did his best to smile back at her. "No worries about the manners. Nice to meet you as well, Cecilla."

Damien unlocked the doors to his car. The thunder and lightning continued raging right by them.

Peter didn't mind the storm. He actually liked it. He saw a car up ahead and paused. Should he continue on or walk a different way? Peter decided to continue on. He probably didn't know who they were anyways.

Cara turned and saw a girl she might have known. She did not know her really, but she looked familiar. She was probably a student at the school. She decided to see for certain.

"Hey, why aren't you at the high school? Did something happen?"

Cecilla's brows furrowed a bit when he mentioned that he was a teacher. He looked rather young to be a teacher, but she supposed he might just look young for his age. She sat down in the passenger seat as gracefully as she could. The car was clean and chic. The seats were of the leather-like variety and she felt vaguely guilty for getting the one she sat on wet.

Just as she was about to say something, her phone went off. A chorus of voices shouted, "A sail! A sail!" that was the short quote, from Romeo and Juliet, that signaled a text message. She decided to leave it in favor of her companion. She turned to him and said,

"A teacher? I haven't seen you around the school... What do you teach?" She tilted her head like a curious kitten, not realizing she was mimicking several well known anime characters.

Damien did not mind the fact that his seats were getting wet again. He gave a sidelong glance to the backseat, which Carter had messed-up not too long ago that day. He gave a strange look about Cecilla's... choice of ringtone, but only muffled one more laugh. He hadn't wanted to laugh at all in so long, and the nuances of Cecilla's actions had finally gotten it out of him. Not many people could do that.

It was his turn to act a little sheepish. He turned on the engine of the vehicle.

"Biology," he replied. "You know, that is a little odd, I haven't seen you around the school either. I'm sorry if I've missed you."

Antha stopped and thought about the question.

"It's closed due to the weather," she said, wondering why Cara asked. Didn't she know already?

Peter passed by the car, glancing into it. He then moved onwards, hoping he wasn't seen. He didn't want to deal with people right now.

She observed his expressions as he responded, he seemed slightly... what was that look? It was reminiscent of 'in pain' but... no. It was sheepish. She quirked a smile. His reply puzzled her, she was taking biology and had thought she had heard the names of all the biology teachers.

"That's funny, because I'm taking biology right now. Actually, it's my favorite subject. And I'm not surprised you haven't seen me around. I only moved to town recently."

Cara looked at the girl funnily.
"Noooo... I've been trying to find my way out of the hospital all morning... Is it even morning still?"
((PAGECLAIM))

"Oh I'm sorry," Antha said feeling like an idiot. Of course she didn't know. She was in the hospital. "And no. But it's not too late in the day either."

"I mostly teach the senior, junior, and AP classes. I do have one freshman class, however. Ah, yes, that makes sense. How long have you been in Humbleton?" Damien asked, nonchalantly beginning to drive away. Another student from the school was outside, a boy, Peter. He thought about giving him a ride as well. It wouldn't make sense if he simply drove the girl in the storm home if he neglected this other student as well.

Reluctantly, he gestured toward the boy.

"Would you mind?" he asked her, not wanting to make a bad first impression.

Cecilla glanced out the window. For all her skill in observing emotions from body language, she absolutely sucked at spotting things that weren't obvious on a large scale.

"No, go right ahead! I'm sure he'd be glad to get out of the storm as well. I've been in Humbleton about a week now. I certainly didn't expect the town to be like this, though I should have known. Everywhere has gangs now a days..."

"Oh, that's good... thank you." Cara felt slightly awkward. "Umm... which way are you headed? Maybe we could walk together. Probably not a good idea to be alone when it's this dark, wet, and generally-BLEHHHHH!!!!" Cara shook her leg frantically, trying to shake off the mooshy slug that had decided she was a good perch.

Antha jumped when Cara cried out, but when she saw it was a slug she calmed down. No need for another stress attack. If she changed out here, Antha was worried what might happen.

"I was headed home," Antha said, gesturing down the street. "It's a couple blocks away. You're welcome to join me."
