+Anima the Roleplay part 2 (Because part 1 was burried alive.)

"Yeah they would," Antha agreed. As Cecilia checked her cellphone, Antha sighed in relief. She was glad that Cecilia didn't ask why she was in this class or why she was doing bad. It made her feel comfortable. And she needed that after what happened in the hall.

"So who you texting?"

"You're Kyrine right? I know we're in the same grade so I thought maybe I should say hi," Peter said. "And yes you are right. It has been crazy. Good thing it's almost over."

"Yeah. I'm Kyrine. I guess I just haven't paid too much attention to the people in our grade. I seem to have not known a lot of people were in it." Kyrine gave a friendlier smile to Peter. He was really nice. "Yeah. I'm sooo glad it's almost over... wait..." She had to think about it for a second. "It's only second hour...?" Kyrine's eyebrows drew close together as she tried to figure out how the day was almost over when it was only second hour.

Let's just say that there was a certain blonde in the room who was overly confused.

Carter sat down, panting slightly. Walking through all the rain was like wading through a river at that point. It was terrible, and Carter still wasn't to his house.

"Well the class is," Peter said, rubbing his head. "Guess I'm still asleep huh?" He chuckled at his joke. "It's nice to meet you Kyrine. You have a very pretty name."

Jade arrived at the gazebo at the edge of the school grounds. Formally used as a place for smokers to indulge, but Jade had commandeered it since he had rose to power just over a year ago. He used it to meet with a very special member of the Crusaders, even though he had never agreed, or even knew he was. And there he was, waiting for him.

Gabriel turned to see Jade walking towards him, and he smiled. Jade had been his friend ever since the reverend had found him, and they had a sort of buisness relation ship going on.

"How have you been feeling lately?" Jade asked. Gabriel threw his arms into the air and fell back onto a bench smiling. "That bad?" Jade joked, with a light smile, and took the bench across from him.

"I'm in love Jade." Gabriel proclaimed, and looked up at the ceiling, raising his arms and putting them behind his head, then looked back at Jade, who had a somewhat worried look on his face. "What?" he asked.

"Gabe, we've talked about this." Jade began. Gabriel felt irritation rise within him. "You can't stress yourself emotionally, or-" he continued.

"Or I become a giant bird freak! I know, I know! But why can't I have this!? What's the harm in letting me be happy!? Isn't that a good thing!?" Gabriel yelled, at Jade, now standing, letting his anger take over, he could feel his wings, fighting to free themselves from his body, trying to come out.

"You wanna be happy? Do heroine for all I care. This could hurt you Gabriel." Jade said, calmly. Gabriel's blood began to boil. He glared down at his annoyingly calm friend.

"What do you know about love!? Bloody Jade is suddenly an expert on feelings! Something he doesn't even have!" Gabriel yelled, and threw his arms into the air, and watched Jade's look turn to pain for only a moment. Gabriel felt a stab of guilt, but he was still angry.

"I know that love hurts for people like us." Jade said, with that painful look in his eye. He must have found out how much more of an impact it had when he did that. Jade and his mind games. But it worked.

"There's no people like us Jade, there's only you and me. I'm not like you. I don't even know why I even come to these secret meetings of ours anymore." Gabriel said, spinning around and looking into the distance. The vast blue sky, where he had felt so free not long ago. The same freedom he felt with Kyrine. The feeling that nothing could go wrong, ever.

"You come here because you need me." Jade replied, standing up, and putting on a serious face. Gabriel felt the anger control his body, his focus slipping, and his demon escaping. Gabriel screamed, and the shriek almost sounded like that of a bird of prey closing in on it's target. He lunged towards the edge of the tiny wooden gazebo, jumped, and propelled himself off of the wooden railing, launching himself into the sky, and spreading his wings. Before long he was at peace, in the sky, cold, wet tears running down his face, and flying off into the air. Because deep down, he knew Jade was right. But Gabriel wouldn't give up Kyrine. He may be like Jade, but he wouldn't sell his soul like him.

Jade turned to the gazebo entrance, and started to make his way back to the school. If Gabriel was really in love, then Jade had a target. He needed to eliminate the threat to the Angelus project, and that meant finding this girl and sending her packing. That's what he was good at. Gang buisness. Maybe having a clear objective would give him the wake up he needed. He knew it would cause some bad blood between him and Gabriel, but he'd get over it. It's not like they're married.

"Oh. Yeah, I guess it is," Kyrine said, giggling, even though she felt rather stupid. "But I think that I'm the one who's more asleep right now." It was true that she was tired after having to walk to school today.

"It's nice to meet you, too," she replied, purposely omitting his name, because even though he knew hers, Kyrine most definitely did not know his. It made her feel kind of bad because they had had class together all year, and she hadn't pain enough attention during role call to know his name-- or several other people's names.

Kyrine blushed when Peter said that he name was pretty. "Uh... um... thank you," she said, averting her eyes. She didn't want their new (and seemingly easy) friendship to get awkward in any way.

You're just getting ahead of yourself. Ever since the night with Gabriel, you always jump to conclusions. Calm down. Relax. Nothing bad should because of this. He's just being nice.

Kyrine smiled at Peter again. "So... how's life?"

Peter saw her blush at his compliment but he didn't think to much into it. Besides he barely knew Kyrine.

"Pretty well though it is difficult at times too," Peter said, not giving a real answer to it.

((Just saying, Nattie... there's a huge storm going on right now. Like, a Gabriel-would-get-struck-with-lightning-if-he-flies-right-now kind of storm. D: Montana initiated it a page ago. :-/))

Nurses and doctors were now bustling through the dark hospital, with flashlights, and battery-powered radios turning on for information on the storm. One nurse in particular noticed the bat +Anima girl on the floor. She didn't want Brian to get a hold of this one. She tapped her shoulder, trying to see if she was concious.

"Hey there," she said quietly, hoping her colleagues wouldn't notice her. "You alright?"

Caresa continued through the rain, pressing her sleeve against her stomach as she walked, as her wound continued opening again, blood soaking through her shirt. The rain fell steadily enough that it was practically washing it off as it came. It hurt again... she needed to find someplace to go now. She looked across the street, and noticed Carter again. He was pushing through this downpour too, and why did they have to be going in the same direction?

She didn't really want to go home... but she didn't know where else she could go now. Her other injuries were aching again, even if the cold rain was helping them numb a tiny bit. She should have just stayed in that tunnel.

More lightning struck, and thunder cracked again. She cringed.

(Awwwwww, but we had a storm yesterday! Well this happened a while ago anyways, right after Jade left drama, so there.)

Misses Pierce drove through the wall of rain. Heading towards the school. Jade had called for her to pick him up. Though he wouldn't admit it, or let it show, Jade was frightened of storms. It was all because of what happened to Kayla all those years ago. There was a thunder storm that day. When she died. It wasn't severe, but he refused to drive while there was a storm. He was his most crazy driving alone. It was while she drove that she saw a familiar young girl from not too long ago. She was walking alone through the rain. (she did not yet see Carter.) "Poor thing." She said to herself, slowing down, and stopping beside her on the side walk. She rolled down the passenger seat window. "Get in honey, it's dangerous to walk around in the middle of a storm!" She called.

Gabriel stood, soaking wet, in the school office. He was waiting for the secretary to come back from the computer in the other room. He had touched down after the storm started. It reminded him of the night with Kyrine. Flying through a storm to get her away from those thugs. He didn't know any other married couples who had such exciting stories as these. After his flight, he had decided to find Kyrine, and came to the office to find out what class she was in. For the amount of time it was taking he questioned his belief that Kyrine was an uncommon name. Finally the secretary came out and headed to the PA. "I'll tell her to meet you by the front door." She said, and buzzed the class. "Hello? Can Kyrine be excused to go meet with somebody? Alright, send her to the front door." she said, turning off the PA and winking at Gabriel said. "Go get her tiger." she said, Gabriel nodded politely and smiled, then bolted down the halls, racing for the front door.

Jade waited for his mother at the front door. He reached into his pocket, taking out an iPod touch. He hit the button and a picture of his sister appeared on the screen. He gave a light smile, and then unlocked the iPod, and began playing jelly car. "This one's for you sis." he said. Despite all the problems around him, Jade decided to relax by focusing on a new high score.

((Okies, I suppose that is functional. ))

"Get in, honey, it's dangerous to walk in the middle of a storm!"

Caresa turned toward the open window, to see a vaguely familiar woman within it. The concern in her voice was apparent. And she was desparate. Caresa swallowed, and moved toward the car. She glanced at her sleeve, and her shirt, both dyed a washed-out red from the rain. She didn't want to get the seats all wet, or worse, bloody... but she supposed this was her last chance now. She moved to the backseat, so she wouldn't concern the woman.

And now she recognized her. Jade's mother. She swallowed, and hoped this wouldn't make either of them feel uncomfortable.

"T-Thank you," she said, shivering slightly, but welcoming the warmth inside the car.

"That's good, I suppose," Kyrine answered. "I guess there can't really be a good without a bad."

She stared off into space for a second before Mr. Jenkins got a call from the office, saying that she needed to go to meet with somebody.

"Um... I guess I have to go now," she told Peter, not even sure why she was being excused from class at the moment. Gathering her stuff up in her arms, Kyrine left the room, walking down to the front door.

When she saw Gabriel standing by the doors, a huge smile broke out on Kyrine's face. "Gabriel! How did you convince the office to let me out of class? Why aren't you in class, either? And why are you so wet?"

The walls that Kyrine had put up with Peter came down immediately when she saw Gabriel. Her quietness turned to babbling and her worries melted.

(If Carter wants to get in, this is his last chance! It'll be a party in Jade's car!)

Gabriel's smile grew wider when he saw Kyrine, and he ran towards her, drops of wetness flying off in every direction, he was about to hug her before he remembered how wet he was. He stopped about half a meter away from her, and just smiled, watching her, taking joy in the fact that she was standing in front of him. "Sorry, I'm a bit wet. I don't think You'd want me to get you all soggy." he said, ringing out some water from his hair, and gave an embarrassed grin. Any worries he had about what he might do, or worse still, what Jade would do vanished. He decided to answer her questions one at a time.

"Well, I was really missing you, and I skipped off my first class to think about everything that happened. I ended up talking to a "friend" but he started pissing me off so I decided to go flying, and while I was up there trying to figure things out, I came to the conclusion that I love you, and that seeing you would put things into perspective." he said, and caught his breath after speaking without pause for so long. He looked her in the eyes and smiled, still overjoyed simply by her presence. "Which it did." he added, starting to slow down. "And since the secretary is such a sap, she let me call you out of class." he concluded his story. "As for the water, I was caught in the sky a little longer than I would have liked." he told her. After running out of things to say, he was content with just smiling and being in her presence, waiting for a response.

As Jade waited, a pair of lovers seemed to appear before him. Well, behind him. Though divided by a glass door, Jade could hear Kyrine and Gabriel. Kyrine. That was who he needed to get rid of. A smirk planted itself on his face. Target acquired.

Cater saw a nearby car that seem to have pulled over. He ran over to it and pounded on a side window, hoping the driver would let him in.

"Sorry, I'm a bit wet. I don't think you'd want me to get you all soggy."

"Well, it seems like whenever we're together at least one of us is wet," Kyrine replied, smiling up at him.

Being with Gabriel was so easy... so wonderful. It made Kyrine's worries melt away-- especially those about how she would react when she saw him. She certainly didn't feel married, so why worry over it?

Kyrine's heart hammered in her chest when Gabriel said he loved her. Hearing those words made her feel like the luckiest person alive. She realized then that she loved him. And that was the best feeling in the world.

"And since the secretary is such a sap, she let me call you out of class."

"Well then, I must say that I'm glad that the secretary is a sap," she responded, smiling at him again.

It didn't really surprise Kyrine when Gabriel had told her that he got caught off guard by the storms. Everybody had been, so why it wasn't different with Gabriel was normal.

"But you must know that I don't care about getting a little soggy," she added, a gleam in her eye. Kyrine walked the rest of the half meter over to Gabriel and wrapped her arms around his neck, pressing her face into his sodden shoulder.

Peter sat back in his chair frowning. He had nothing to do now. He could talk to one of the other students, but he didn't think so. He sighed and made a mental note to find some friends. It would make coming to school more easier to do.

Caresa shot up after hearing someone pounding loudly on the window. Even though the storm was loud, this somehow surprised her after she was getting used to the warmer and quieter environment inside of the car. She looked over at the window, and noticed Carter there, desparate as she had been. She ducked down a little more, trying to be subtle, and hoping he could see much into the car. This would not be a comfortable ride at all, if he were let in... which she was sure the kind woman would do.

She was Jade's mother. They seemed to share a lot... but, there had to be some differences. How did she feel about what he did? Did she even know? How couldn't she, of course she knew. Jade... he wanted them to end and they'd only just begun. All previous evidence of self-preservation she may have had disappeared when she thought of them. The moment in the hospital bed, fist raised. Apologies. The blatant lies in front of their classmates.

His blood within her, a sacrifice of his, keeping her alive... their first kiss... more kisses, whispered words of instant, sudden, infinite, illogical, love... serenity in being just near him in those quiet moments...

It couldn't be over. It wouldn't be... she wouldn't let it be. Maybe she was selfish... it would ruin him. But she couldn't let go, it was just... this was all too much, too fast. She tried to push the thoughts from her head, but every moment with him in private, and in public, continued replaying, as she awaited Ms. Pierce's response to the doused fire of a boy outside her car window.

((I feel accomplished now. ))

Gabriel, was a little startled when Kyrine wrapped her arms around him, and put her head into his shoulder, but he began to smile, loving holding her in his arms. Slowly, he put his large wet arms around her. His heart began to pound, and he felt his wings again. His +Anima was trying to escape. Gabriel tried to hold them back, but he felt something different from his +Anima now. Unlike when he was angry, when he wanted to harm, the love he felt was influencing his +Anima. He felt he understood the extra soul within him, what it's desires were. He wanted to protect her, with all of his being. He would never let harm come to Kyrine. Gabriel let go.

Jade watched the two lovers, holding each other, and he felt a longing. Flashes of that night with Caresa, in the storm came to him. The more he watched Gabriel and Kyrine, the more they changed into himself and Caresa, and the more he wished that she was with him. He wanted more and more to hold her close to him. Suddenly, it seemed that he was watching the happy night in the hospital, and saw himself, when he was feeling so in love with the vermin he hated.

Then he saw himself sprout wings, and envelope Caresa in them. Grand pure white wings, strong and powerful, keeping her safe. That's when he snapped back to reality, and realized he was watching Gabriel enclose Kyrine within his own wings.

Jade turned away from Gabriel, and the girl that he had fallen truly in love with, and walked towards the door. He knew why it was the wings that reminded him that it wasn't him and Caresa. "I'm no Angel Gabriel." he said, and entered the storm, heading for the old tree, with the cross under it.

Kyrine loved the feeling of Gabriel's arms around her, even though they were wet. It wasn't much different than when she had to hold onto him when he was flying them to the church. She had her eyes closed as she hugged him, but opened them when she felt a change around her. As her eyes opened, Kyrine saw white in front of her and to the side; she couldn't see behind herself. It took Kyrine a moment to realize that Gabriel's wings were out and surrounding them.

"I love you," she whispered into his shoulder, wondering if it was too muffled and quiet for him to understand. A small part of Kyrine didn't want him to understand what she said, because it was the first time she had ever said it to anyone who wasn't family. (Well, technically Gabriel was family, but we'll not worry about technicalities.)

Karen heard a loud banging on her car window, and looked outside to see a young boy. She couldn't distinguish a face, but she saw Caresa try to hide herself. She must be able to see who it is, and she didn't seem to want to be noticed. Maybe it wasn't safe to open the door. "Is it alright if I let him in sweet heart? Or would he just be a problem?" she asked.

Caresa considered her question for a few moments. She wasn't sure what to do. It would be sort of cruel to leave him out in the storm like that. But after that fight they'd recently had, she wasn't so sure. She shook her head weakly.

"I-It... it would be a problem," she murmured.

((MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!))

Misses Pierce nodded at Caresa. She didn't know what bad blood she had with this boy, but having them in the same car would cause... complications. But she didn't want to leave him in the storm, that wouldn't be right. Karen thought for a moment and came up with a solution. She once again rolled down the window.

"Sorry! The back is filled with groceries, and I'm on my way to pick somebody up." She lied. "But stay put, and I'll call you a ride." she told him. "Alright?" she asked.

Gabriel's heart pounded in his chest when he heard those three muffled words. "I love you." There seemed to be a bit of self consciousness in Kyrine's voice, but he knew that what she said was true. He felt it. He closed his eyes and whispered into her ear. "Your the first one to make me fall in love like this." And he hoped nobody else ever got the chance to even try and make him feel like this. "So I want to stay married to you. Just for a little while." He said.

"Sorry! The back is filled with groceries, and I'm on my way to pick somebody up. But stay put, and I'll call you a ride. Alright?"

"Never mind, then. I'll just keep walking," Carter replied, already walking away from the car. He didn't even bother to look into the car to make sure she wasn't lying. He was focusing his energy on just getting somewhere he could rest. Maybe just going home originally would have been better than his oh-so-brilliant plan to wander/sleep around town for the day.

Kyrine didn't respond out loud, but in her head she was thinking, And hopefully I'll be the only one to make you fall in love like that.

Her eyes, which had been closed, opened wide when Gabriel said that he would like to stay married to her. Even though he added for a little while. "I think I can accept being married for a little bit longer," she replied, smiling a little.

Gabriel looked down into Kyrine's eyes. "Thanks. I know it's drunk in Las Vegas sudden, and the marriage can be annulled at any time." he said, smiling down, feeling an unbelievable happiness from being with her. "I just know that something terrible is about to happen, and I want this unofficial marriage to be some kind of reminder that no matter what I'll be there to love you, and that I have something to protect." he explained, and brushed the hair away from her eyes.

Caresa breathed a sigh of relief, but cringed at the motion, and tried to hide it from Mrs. Pierce. The pain of her re-opening wound was becoming increasingly difficult to ignore. She purposely kept her sleeve over it, pressing against it, which only made it hurt more, but she continued, vainly hoping it would stop the bleeding...

Kyrine smiled back up at Gabriel. "And we didn't even have to get drunk in Vegas for it. Such a scandal for a small town like this. And I remember when you told me that it could be annulled. It was right after you told me that we were married, and for an annulment, my parents would need to know." She glanced back up at him, wondering if it was weird that she remembered that.

"I just know that something terrible is about to happen, and I want this unofficial marriage to be some kind of reminder that no matter what I'll be there to love you, and that I have something to protect."

"What... what terrible thing is going to happen?" Kyrine asked, worry clouding her eyes. What was going to happen and how was it going to affect them? It obviously had to affect them if Gabriel brought it up.

Peter almost fell asleep at his desk. He looked around the room annoyed. He just wanted this day to move faster. He had things he would rather be doing right now. Peter sighed as he finally decided to read.

Roger was already on the road by the time the blackout occurred. Driving through a storm, all the way back to Brian's secret lair. He had done an evidence sweep, and had what he needed. He checked on the boy in the back seat with his rear view mirror, and then looked on the dashboard, at the evidence they had left behind. A single bloody feather, left on the ground of room (625?).

Karen Pierce was about to drive off when she called the police. "Hello? Chief Grey? Yes, I'm well. I just wanted you to keep on eye out for a young boy walking around the Hamilton Street area." she said. "You will? Thank you Fred. He seems like he's in a bit of trouble." she concluded, and then put away her cell phone. Thankfully, the police station had a backup generator.

Karen finally pulled away from the side of the road, noticing Caresa's little flinch. "You alright sweet heart?" she asked. Keeping her eyes on the road. The storm was getting pretty bad.

Jade wandered through the howling wind, and the harsh rain, barely able to see the tree, but he knew it was there. He knew every square inch of that area. From the day that the former beast leader died. That was the bloodiest fight he had ever seen. It was worse than what he did to the +Anima now, and more than he ever wanted to do to them. He still went and payed his respects. It was the least he could do to pay them back for that mistake.

Gabriel shook his head. "I don't know. I just have a sinking feeling that everything is about to change, for everybody. And I won't let you face it alone." he told her, smiling. He had a feeling that she would be his source of happiness for the days to come. She would be his boat in the sea of despair to come.
