Rein, Kaleb

"I'm looking for Caesar! He and Susanna seemed to have vanished somewhere, and I'm trying to find them. Know where they are?" Kaleb asked.

Tsuba

"What?" Tsuba asked, caught off guard by Carlisle's question.

C.C.

"And your point is, boy?" C.C. asked with a raised eyebrow. Oh, she knew what Nebi was talking about, but she wanted to tease him a bit more.

Kegan

"Last time we saw them they were fornicating in a clearing about half a kilometer to the northeast of here." Kegan informed Kaleb as he crossed his arms, hoping that he would just leave.

Carlisle

"It sounds like you're showing regret for your actions. So....what are you going to do about it then?" Carlisle asked as he rolled onto his side.

Rein, Kaleb

"Ok!" Kaleb said. Then, for no apparent reason, Kaleb burst into tears.

"Caesar just doesn't love me anymore! He spends all his time with Susanna! I've been with him the longest, yet he barely bothers with me anymore! What does she have that I don't?" Kaleb sobbed.

Tsuba

"I...don't know." Tsuba admitted. She had never really given any thought to that question at all. What was she going to do about it, if she truly did regret everything she had done up to this point?

Kegan

Kegan's mouth dropped open in shock and disgust as he watched Kaleb sob. "I uh..." Kegan tried to think of something coherent to say as he turned around to look at Rein, hoping that she would be able to think of something to say.

"Well then maybe we should concentrate on that then?" Carlisle asked, trying to be kind and helpful as he reached a hand out towards Tsuba's.

Tsuba

"Maybe," Tsuba said, taking Carlisle's hand.

Rein, Kaleb

Kegan's hopes were dashed, however. Rein was visibly laughing, her hands at her mouth to stop any sound from escaping. It seemed she was taking much joy from Kegan's...interesting...situation. It seemed he was on his own.

Kaleb, meanwhile, continued to cry.

"Does Caesar like her because she's prettier than me?! I can change!"

Kegan

Kegan rolled his eyes as he looked away from Rein back towards Kaleb, deciding to himself that the best way to get rid of the pathetic man was to cheer him up. "Well, from what I've seen at least, Susanna can provide things to Caesar that you simply....can't." Kegan informed Kaleb as he weakly patted him on the back.

"It's a choice that only you can make, for yourself, Tsuba."

((Hm. You just made a mistake I made earlier.))

Kaleb

"Well, that is true." Kaleb admitted. His tears stopped and he smiled brightly. "Thanks! I feel much better now!"

In a flash Kaleb was gone, off to find Caesar again.

Tsuba

"Wel...I..." Tsuba continued, unsure of what to say. Truthfully, she wasn't entirely sure what she wanted at that moment. Could she really repent for the things she had done?

Kegan

"Thank the Gods he's gone." Kegan muttered after he was sure that Kaleb was out of earshot. "But I'm going to have to shut the entrance to this little place now, if we want to be able to sleep tonight without having to worry." Kegan admitted as he walked up to the side of one of the trees, pressing his hand onto it. After the Half-Elf was finished chanting, the hole that had been used as an entrance earlier slowly closed, bark covering it.

"Now then, how are you?" Kegan asked as he turned around and looked back at Rein.

Carlisle

"It's fine. It's not like you have to make a decision now, I know I couldn't." Carlisle reassured Tsuba as he let his hand slip out of hers. "But you know, maybe you could, umm, think about it."

Tsuba

"I will." Tsuba said, and meant it. The tent was opened as Maul came back in, soaking wet. The Kaleesh's clothes were scratched and ripped in several places, and he was bleeding from a few open wounds. Still, it seemed his hunt had proved successful, as Maul was carrying the carcas of some beast on his back.

"Dinner." Maul simply stated, dumping the corpse on the ground.

"Good, I'm star...." Tsuba trailed off as her eyes wandered to the lower section of Maul's body. A good chunk of his pants were ripped away, accidentally revealing a certain part of Maul's body. A blush slowly formed on Tsuba's face, surprisingly.

Rein

"Fine! I really needed that laugh." Rein said, wiping a tear from her eye.

Kegan

"Oh. Well it's good to know that someone enjoyed that mess at least." Kegan said, somewhat moody as he sat down next to Rein again.

"Wow, are you ok?" Carlisle asked as he stood up to examine Maul's wounds, not even noticing what Tsuba was "Distracted" with.

Rein

"Hey now! Don't get moody with me." Rein joked. She playfully hit Kegan on the shoulder and kissed him on the cheek.

"I'm sorry I didn't help, but it was just too funny!"

Tsuba, Maul

"My prey was partiularlly...fericious. They are nothing, however. They are simply flesh wounds. Besides, my people have a saying: wounds are the signs of a victorious battle." Maul replied. Tsuba continued to stare at the 'distraction', seemingly mesmerised. Finally she got something out.

"The thrill of the hunt, eh?"

Maul gave her a confused expression, but looked down. Raising an eyebrow, he gave a response. "I do not understand your query, Tsuba. But yes, the hunt was rather...thrilling. My people are natural born warriors, after all."

Kegan

"It's fine, it's fine." Kegan reassured Rein as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "But it wasn't that funny..."

"Well ok then, if you are sure that you're going to be ok then." Carlisle replied as he sat down, displeased that the Kaleesh wouldn't let him help.

Tsuba, Maul

Maul gave a curt nod before taking a a seat and began to cook their meal. Tsuba raised an eyebrow at Maul, but said nothing more to him. What, was he asexual or something?

Rein

"Ah, you poor thing." Rein giggled. She gave Kegan another kiss on the cheek. "Well, at least you didn't have your clothes fall off of you for no apparent reason at all..."

"My point is that we can relieve some stress," Nebi suggested to C.C. with a grin, "I have reach, you have flexibility. You have knowledge, I'm eager to learn. It'll be perfect."

C.C.

"Oh?" C.C. asked, giving a coy smile. "I don't know...I mean, it might be too much for you to handle. Besides, considering my age, I'd be robbing the cradle now, wouldn't I?"

Nebi made a big show of looking up and down C.C.'s body. Perfect, he thought with a grin. She was truly beautiful.

"I wouldn't mind," Nebi told her, "Besides. Don't you ever get lonely?"

C.C.

"Lonely?" C.C. question, a frown coming to her face. Her eyes narrowed at Nebi.

"I am the last of my people, the only man I truly loved betrayed me and used me to build his Empire, and every single promise by subsequent Emperors and Empresses to free me have all been broken. What do you think?"

C.C. winced a little. She hadn't entirely meant for it to come out that way. Still, it should come as no surprise to Nebi that she was still bitter about her fate, after all these years. The Mage hadn't had a...good life, to say the least.

"Oh. Sorry," Nebi told her, looking down. He felt rather bad. She had told him about her life so far so he should have known better than mention loneliness.

"Well, I don't know if this means anything, but I promise to free you when I become Emperor," he told her honestly.

C.C.

C.C. was ready to come back with a retort, but decided to consider what Nebi said. Whether or not what Nebi said was true, what did she have to lose? If he went back on his promise like al the others, no true harm was done. She'd just be back where she started. And if he was telling the truth, well...what did she have to lose, then?

"Thank you." C.C. said.

"No problem," he told her with a smile, glad she wasn't going to argue with him this time. He looked from the tent to her and shrugged.

"You can have the tent if you're uncomfortable with sharing with me," he told her kindly, "I can stay out here by the fire."

History: Dark Elves are thought to be mere superstition by most, but they are very much real. "No." C.C. said, shaking her head. "No. It's fine, you can stay. Besides..."

Her lips curled into a seductive smile.

Kegan

"Hey." Kegan said, pretending to be offended before he kissed Rein's cheek in return. "And you know what's going to happen now, Rein? My clothes will fall off tomorrow. Just because we tempted fate again." The Elf pointed out with a sense of humor as he smiled, not really caring at this point if his clothes did fall off or not.

"So....do you need some pants or something then?" Carlisle asked Maul, trying to be polite about the odd subject.

Nebi felt his heart skip a beat as his face broke out into a grin. He certainly liked that smile of hers.

"Oh? What is it?" he asked, wriggling his eyebrows.

Rein

"Well, it'd only be fair. After all, you got to see me naked. Though, I'm sure I wouldn't see much anyways." Rein teased lightly, giving a mischievous smile. Though, Kegan did have a point. Now that they had tempted the almighty Gods, it'd no doubt happen. Well, as long as it didn't happen to her again, she'd definitely be fine with it.

Maul, Tsuba

Maul waved his hand passed the torn section of clothing, using a simple spell to mend it. Within a few seconds the torn section was repaired. Tsuba looked a little disappointed about that, but quickly covered that up before either boy could notice. Maul continued to cook there meal to a point he was satisfied.

"It is done." the Order of the Shadows assassin simply said.

C.C.

"Why don't you come here to find out?" C.C. said, keeping her suggestive smile.
