Taryn smiled at Thomas and gave his hand a gentle squeeze. She nodded and said, "Alright," as she looked down the street toward the Amity House. She could've sworn she saw a little girl in the window of the house.

Thomas smiled at Taryn. It took a lot of weight off his chest just to have her there with him. He had a feeling that everything would be okay.

Alan hopped down from the fence and walked by the two. "Come now lovers, we have a kid to protect and a world to save." He said and started walking a bit faster.

Michael sighed in annoyance as the Amity House came into his sight, just down the final street he had turned onto. The rain slammed down from the heavens rapidly on this street and now Michael was soaked and chilled to the bone which of course made him even more determined to get to the haunted house that laid ahead.

Michael had stopped speaking a few blocks back when he realized that doing so wouldn't help anyone much and he had instead switched to a mental conversation in his mind. Unfortunately that didn't help cure Michael's boredom either as the conversation had technically ended in seventeen seconds.

The boy continued to walk before he arrived onto the porch of Amity, a small smile on his face as the rain stopped beating down on his body. "Well we made it." He stated the obvious before opening the door and walking into the home. The Pizza boxes still laid over on the ground across the room, and there were the drinks Michael had brought along as well.

"I guess we should wait now until the other three come, I think twenty minutes is good enough." He decided aloud before turning around and looking back at his companions.

Hanyer nodded. Now they had to wait. It was kind of strange, just waiting in the house alone with Michael. He knew that he had lots of chances to tell Michael that he liked him, especially if Michael might die. But Hanyer just stood there waiting. He knew it would be better just to keep it quiet. Maybe after they saved him, he would confess, but telling him now was not the right thing to do.

Charlie blinked in the light and saw Cooya flying around the room. She smiled at her, trying to forget that there were more better things she could summon. And Charlie had a feeling that she might have to use her powers again. If they were going after something like the Philosopher stone, Charlie was sure that they would all have to use their powers to get it.

A slick black car pulled up in front of the school in Amity, New York, East Coast of the United States of America, United states of America, North America, the northern hemisphere, the world, our solar system, the milky way galaxy, the universe, reality... or less than such. And from this car Nicholas Andrews emerged, his hair blowing in the wind, his shirt with a few buttons undone to reveal his rippling and manly chest-

Nicholas Andrews shouldered an art bag filled with various items which here would be seen to have very little value. Before he shut the door Nicholas' father stepped out of the driver's seat he was a tall skinny man, with short curly hair. Chestnut eyes could be seen through his round lens glasses. He wore a dark brown trench coat and a green scarf currently, he was staring at his son with sympathy. "You know you don't have to do this." he said to his son. Nick in his black jacket turned to his father. "My friend is in trouble. If I don't hurry, he'll become just like that man. You've met Walter." Nick replied. His father shook his head. "You know that isn't what I mean. I mean you don't have to live like this you can have a normal life. You aren't like some people who are chased by the supernatural, you chase the supernatural. So don't do this." his father continued. He had never really approved of his son going off on "hunting" trips, and using the book. Nick glared at his father. "Maybe I don't want a normal life, like you did. Maybe I want to be stronger-" he started, and then his father cut him off. "You don't want it, and we both know it. You just feel like you have to waste your life like your grandfather because of what he wrote in that will. But this isn't his life we're talking about, this is your life, this is about what you want not what he wants." he told his son. and Nick looked away. "Keep them safe." he muttered. His father shook his head. "No, no Nick don't start this again." his father said. "Keep them safe! Keep them safe! Keep them safe!" Nick screamed. "That's all he left me! That's all he wanted from me! I spend my time doing everything he tells me! I learn all of this shit, and I give my life up, all for him! And all he leaves me is "Keep them safe!" he screamed at his father, somewhat like a child. "You might have given up on him! But I haven't! If he leaves me "Keep them safe" then I keep them safe!" he continued. His father glared at him before getting in the car. He leaned over to close Nick's door. "Keep them safe changes as soon as you find your home. Your real home. It happened with me when I met your mother, and it'll happen with you." his father said before driving off. Nick was left there in a rage.

After a moment of blind rage Nick found that he had used his new spell to cleanly slice a segment of fencing, and that he was now soken from the hard rain. He sighed and walked towards the school with his bag of junk. He found a broken window, and saw some lights on in the cafeteria. He hoped in through the window, and headed to the lunch room to find Charlie, and Lily. "Find anything?" he asked, walking towards them.

"Tacos. ice cream, ya know, lunch room stuff? What's up with you? you become a stripper at chippendales in the last twenty minutes or something?" she asked, looking at his male-model type shirt.

Michael took off his shoes and threw them onto the ground. They ended up rolling across the floor a bit until they reached the closet door. He looked up and noticed that the door now lay open in front of him, except instead of a small closet, there were stairs going down for who knows how long.

But Michael didn't pay attention to that and instead turned around and looked at his two traveling companions, Hanyer and the Grim Reaper. Unfortunately for Michael he and his clothes were still soaked and he felt like he was being frozen alive. "So umm...are you thirsty or something?" He asked as he tried to stop thinking for a second, unfortunately failing.

Nick looked down at his shirt, and found that there were several buttons missing near the top. "Shit. Why do I have such bad luck with buttons." (that's my story and I'm sticking to it!) he commented on his own clumsiness. Nick heard his stomach grumble. "Toss me some taco. I haven't eaten since lunch." he said, and walked over to the girls. "By the way, any progress on finding the entrance gate?" he persisted.

Alan stopped and notice it was raining. "Crap, I hate the rain." he said and turned back to Taryn and Thomas. "HEY! You guys go kiss in the rain and I'll go on ahead so I don't get soaked!" He yelled and sprinted off to the Amity house, reaching it fairly quickly. He hopped up onto the porch. "Hey, you called?" he asked and noticed the old guy in the robe. He looked him over for a second. "Death, I presume?"

Hanyer was relieved when Alan showed up. He shook his head at Michael's question.

"Nah I'm fine. I think if I ingest anything it'll probably won't stay that way for long," he said. What they were going to do was making Hanyer nervous. So he knew it was better not to eat anything.

Charlie picked up a taco and threw it at Nick. She smiled at him when it landed on his shirt and dropped to the floor.

"You can't catch that well."

"Well then...." Michael let the reply fade off as he looked at Alan as he felt uneasy. "And so the intuition works again." He said with only a hint of sarcasm, still feeling slightly curious about Alan but not sure whether he would be patient enough to talk with the boy.

But none of that mattered at this point Michael realized as he scratched his nose for a second before his smirk was replaced with a slightly more serious expression. "Thank you for coming Alan, I'll explain everything once Taryn and Thomas are here....they aren't too far away, right?"

Thomas smiled and kissed Taryn quickly with a grin before taking her hand and running after Alan. It was fun teasing her.

Death nodded at the newcomer before waiting for his grandson and his girlfriend to arrive. He had a feeling they had bad timing like he and his wife.

Alan shrugged. "Well it's kinda hard to miss, an old guy in a black robe and weird walking stick." He said. "Yeah, theyre probably just taking their time."

"Well at least it's good to know that they're coming....but we're still going to have to leave even if they aren't here in twelve minutes, don't have a lot of time you know." Michael commented as he glanced down at his cellphone to see what time it was.

"Wait a second." Lily thought for a minute.
"I know where it is! That classroom behind the gym, there was two of them! I saw it in some blueprints in the v.p.'s office! a scaffolding fell when they remodeled the school, something went wrong and nobody has been able to find the room since, i bet the portal is hiddent there because nobody can just stumble on it!" She start running for the gym.

((Ah, man....I haven't forgotten about this, it's just that I've had trouble adjusting to regular life after Otakon, and I've had to do internet browsing little by little. Amazingly, two days like that can really mess me up. So, what's happened around here? Summarization is good, you don't have to go into explicit detail.))

(Ceshie is with Charlie, Lily and Nick in the school ad they're looking for some kind of room that might hold a portal hidden inside the school. Thomas and Taryn are walking back to the amity house because Michael sent them a text asking them to arrive. Now Michael, Hanyer, Thomas' Grandfather, and Alan are all in the Amity house waiting.)

((Okay. Thank you, Alec. ^,^ And no, I don't have a backstory for Ceshie, since she couldn't have spaced out for that long...XD))

Ceshie ran after Lily like she knew what she was doing. She was in a daze this whole time, just following whatever the others were doing. "There were classrooms back there?" she asked, and then the memories of sneaking into the principal's office and finding blueprints of the school while trying to find tacks came to mind. "Oh, yeah. Those rooms. No wonder I've never found them. I've been trying to look for those rooms for ages."

In the back of the gym there were gymnastics mats piled up. She pushed them aside. There was an equipment room in the back of he gym behind the mats.
"Maybe..."she pondered for aa second.
"We'd better check in here."

Ceshlyta nodded. "Yeah, that DOES look pretty sketchy. Why would they put those mats there if they wanted people to go there? Can I open the door?" she asked. "I want to see if there's anything there." Troublemaker that Ceshie was, she had never seen this, and wanted the first look at a possible portal into who knows where.

"Well, from the blueprints i stole, this was an old hallway, the classes will be on other side, the one that we'll be looking for will b hard to fin but it will be on the right-hand side." She told Ceshie, she had a photographic memory of things like that.

Charlie nodded as Lily told Ceshie about where the room they are looking for might be. Charlie wasn't really good with directions and so she remained silent as she finished her taco.

"Okay." Ceshlyta said, and turned the doorknob. It stuck a little, from underuse, but it turned, and the door opened. It was dark and dusty in the hallway, like it hadn't seen light in at least a year. "Spooky...follow me, guys. I'd rather be the first one attacked if something pops out at us. That way, I can be a distraction while you guys attack." she said, trying to take the lead.

"Don't be such a downer Ceshie, it's a school, not a hellhouse." She said. She knocked on the riht hand wall with here ear close to listen for hollow spots.
"What the hell are they doing with our tax money if they don't even buy equipment for the equipment room?"
