| "No problem," Danielle said. She watched as he sat at a table, and then got up again. She shrugged and continued on with her business, sipping her latte, drinking the foam up first... it had to be the best part of any latte. She'd liked it since she was a little kid, when she and her sister would share some of her dad's Starbucks lattes. Well... more like fight over it... she sighed. She was looking forward to having Delia home soon... ---- She'd been the best Traditionalist vampire. And Andrew had too much pride, and too much faith in her. He'd thought she'd be fine on her own, doing all that she had to, to continue following the "right" ways...

| Garrett walked quickly with his head down, sipping his coffee. He really should have taken a sweatshirt with him to work. But it was too late now. He was only about ten to fifteen minutes walking distance from his apartment. ----- He'd left her quickly. After training her so well into the Traditionalist ways, Andrew left Charlotte on her own. She still thrived without him. She had simply become used to his presence, so it was odd when he left, but Charlotte didn't take any of the training for granted. She followed everything he had taught her. She got 'meals' every time she needed them, and she rarely had to worry about anything like the government. It was something that only foolish, ignorant vampires got themselves into, and Charlotte wasn't like that. | |

| The door slowly cracked open, the figure on the other side not even seeming to breath as he entered the hotel room. Cold red eyes watched the figure on the bed for a moment, before they drifted to his bag, and a thin smile spread on his face.
His steps were noiseless, as he retreived the bag, and pulled one of the stakes from it. "Ah...Northern Pine. Fine material for a stake, eh, little hunter pup?" His voice was like a banshee calling from the crypt, as he looked to Tommy. "You humans are all the same...cattle, meant to be slaughtered and consumed. You are no different, and neither is your precious Danielle, young man. Why don't I teach you where you belong on the food chain, hm?" The stake shattered in his grasp, as his lips curled into a feral smile.

| Leonardo walked out the back door feeling a disturbance in the force. and headed directly to the large garbage tub in the back it reeked of wood and gun powder. He flipped open the top to see four belts of 20 stakes, a couple of cross bows, several pistols, a sniper rifle, and stake spears. Leonardo took two belts of stakes draping one on each of his shoulders, and took a pair of pistols. Like in an old wild west movie he spun them in his hands expertly, then abruptly brought both of them to a halt in his hands pointing forwards creating a pair of holes in the top of the flipped up garbage tub. "Guns. They can't kill vampires but one shot to the head causes a severe case of the retarded." he explained before walking away, not waiting for his baggage to slow him down. "Try and catch up with me caddy, and if it comes down to it you throw me more weapons. These assholes will tear you to shreds." he ordered James. | |

| Tommy awoke quickly, as the voice of the threatening vampire suddenly filled the room. He picked up and examined every weapon of his. He sucked in his breath, backing up to the headboard of the bed. He should have expected this... but now he was completely, entirely unarmed, and the shattering of the stake seemed sound like nails on a chalkboard, consuming him with the fate that was sure the come.
"You humans are all the same...cattle, meant to be slaughtered and consumed. You are no different, and neither is your precious Danielle, young man. Why don't I teach you where you belong on the food chain, hm?"
He stood, trying to keep the nervousness from his expression. Danielle... what would happen to her now? He had to manage this... though he stood no chance, he made his best attempt to stand strong. Doubt was in the front of his mind, but he tried to push it back. -------- Andrew left her because he knew she could handle it. Well, he thought she could. He didn't keep in contact with her while he was roaming around again, going from place to place, human girl to human girl, each night to the next. He didn't cross paths with her again until that fateful night.
Once again, he thirsted. He hadn't had anything to drink in days. And he was desperate. But this time, the first person who came into view, was a child. Somehow, he'd hesitated with them many times. He'd been able to resist them. He liked to have those... well, closer in age with him... but right now, he was desperate again. So he took the child, and her blood and her life, his eyes squeezed shut as he did so. For some reason, he could not look while doing so. He turned off every numbed sense inside of him as he filled with energy again, so that he could not feel remorse.
And when they opened, there she was. It had been eight short years. She looked to be his age, even more womanly than she had been back then. She was a perfect Traditionalist Vampire, he could tell by the way she almost seemed to glow in the moonlight, soaking in her ideal time.
And this little child's blood seemed similar to hers... a relative, perhaps. Even to a Traditionalist, this could seem like a betrayal, almost like a real murder to one.
He dropped the corpse and ran. Fast as a vampire could. Regret and remorse were luxuries and weakness, but there was something scratching in the back of his mind, something in his chest feeling strange. He shut it up, by finding real human women again, and then doing the same to them. So many people that night... and he even succumbed to drinking the blood of animals, though it was disgusting. Nothing kept the girl, or the look on Charlotte's face from his mind. When day came, he was relieved for sleep, deep, dreamless sleep in perfect invisibility. Everything away from his mind.

| And then came the night when she was back in those same woods. The same area where she had been changed. Charlotte generally avoided the area to make sure she wouldn't attack any of her family.
She was walking around aimlessly. No particular reason for her to be there, but she was, and she could smell a vampire and a human nearby. Charlotte went to watch, and what she saw horrified her. There was Andrew, who she had not seen in eight years, feasting upon a young girl. A girl that Charlotte recognized as her niece. The niece she had never known. The niece she never would know. Drained of of blood. Simply a corpse.
After seeing Andrew run away, Charlotte slowly walked to her niece's corpse, looked down at her, and sobbed. Then, she also ran away.
She did the same as Andrew, only feeding off of men. Trying to erase what she had seen, but it was burned into her memory. the night would forever haunt her.
Shortly after that night, Charlotte decided to stop feeding off of people. She know knew how they felt when they discovered a loved one sucked dry.
But she couldn't take any of those pointless murders back...

| (( Yay pageclaims! )) Andrew continued with his life after that night. There was nothing more than the blood, doing what the she for the few moments they had wanted as well as mostly himself, and then the drink, over and over, almost every night, like an addict did his drugs. The pattern continued, seemingly satisfying for the longest time. He never got caught, and never had any problems with it. Charlotte and the girl slowly drifted from his mind. He lived life how he wanted to; it was seemingly perfect. Absolutely right for himself. Everything was going just as planned.
Then his parents announced they'd gone Modernist. So he spoke with them angrily, trying to talk them out of it, remembering all they'd taught him, and then hung up promptly after. He decided not to speak with them again. He didn't consider doing anything to them; many Traditionalists usually had strong loyalty those who had brought them to become what they were then. And their family, even if they were humans.
He cut off communication with his life, and continued on...
Right up until he started hearing of the vampire girl who'd gone Modernist. One that he'd apparently changed.
He never sought out for her, but this was his vampire. If she came, her fate had only two paths...And then he ran into her. This night happened, and all this replayed in his mind. A movie on a crystal-clear television, surround sound, all that. His memory was incredible. Every detail seemed nearly real. He looked in the exactly direction of her apartment... she was sleeping, like a human girl now. Andrew still had the light scent of vampire blood in his apartment, a nearly sickening smell to a vampire himself. It had once been human; sweet and satisfying, but now, it was tainted. And it was his fault. Truly, a fault. A mistake. Yet it was unchangeable now. Not even vampires could go back in time. They didn't have special powers, other than inhuman strength and speed. It could only do so much for them. He opened his window in his bedroom, the one that led into an alley, and jumped down quick enough that he would only look like a blur to a human, and sped back to the apartments. I'll change you... I will...Changing her back after all he'd done had to be an impossible task... changing himself back now could be just as difficult. How could just seeing her again do exactly as he promised wouldn't happen when he first changed her? Demise, destruction, of all he'd built these years... this simply could not be, could not be allowed. ((*last of gradual character/relationship/villian development=all the way down the drain*))

| Charlotte went years without seeing Andrew, or even hearing of him. Which was a very good thing in her book. During those years, she struggled to feed off of animals instead of humans. It was difficult, but she'd managed. All it took was remembering the horrible night. The night that she so desperately wanted to forget, even though she couldn't. It was burned into her memory. Burned with perfect clarity.
Life had been going well. She's made friends, gotten a job, and even had less difficulty feeding off of animals. She could almost forget about her past. And she almost did, until she met Andrew again. Charlotte had been stupid enough not to recognize him, and then stupid enough to have gotten herself staked. Mistakes that she refused to let herself make again.

| Drusillus slowly approached the bed, his eyes gleaming with predatory intent, eyeing Tommy's neck like it where a succulent apple just ripe for the picking. "Don't try and keep a brave face, boy. I can smell the fear dripping out of you. It's intoxicating..."
Then, he was infront of the young human, and hauled him into the air by the throat. His eyes truely glowed know, as the Varghulf slowly sized up the human. "Not even a man yet...children always taste a little sour, but it's something you grow use to. You, however..."
His grip tightened, as the Varghulf frowned. "I don't know if I even want to bother feeding off you...you're weak. All flash, no substance. I've killed toddlers that were better vampire hunters than you!"

| Tommy swallowed, ignoring the first comments, though it was difficult. He was being sized up by the vampire. He could hardly breathe as he was lifted from the ground by the neck... this couldn't possibly be good... yet insults were thrown as he continued eyeing him. He tried not to fear, he tried to escape his grasp, but it seemed impossible. He was being compared to toddlers... this would be downright humiliating, (well, it was), but the fact that he could be simply suffocated to death was on his mind. | |

| Drusillus's gaze drifted to the window, and a dark smile came over his face. "No...I have a better idea with what to do with you, my boy..." The Varghulf strode over towards the window, as a slow, deep laugh bubbled up from his throat.
"Tell me...can you fly?"

| Tommy saw as the vampire started toward the window. A dark laugh erupted from him. He struggled in his grasp, trying to escape, but there was no way. He may not have been as high up as possible, but it would still be intensely damaging if he were thrown from the window. Or worse.
He tried to pry the Varghulf's fingers from his throat, but it was like trying to describe the taste of water; practically impossible.

| "Yes, I suppose it is," Elouise agreed. She checked her watch and noticed that she had better be going. "I'm sorry but I have to go, my break is almost over," she smiled apologetically wishing she could continue the conversation. She stood up and put her jacket back on. "See you." She opened the door and stepped out into the drizzle. | |

| Danielle scrubbed the counter, more out of boredom than the necessity of doing so. She hoped Leonardo was okay... but now she was curious. What were they meeting about? She sighed. Dave and Kimi came into her mind... she tried to push them back, but she couldn't now. He was in love with her... she would just have to let that go. She bit her lip, watching the door, for her co-worker to return. Not that she minded any length of her break. She just didn't want to be alone working... even though things were still slowing down...
She glanced across the street through the windows by the door. That was where Tommy had walked to. Gosh, he was just so... ugh...
He still needs a friend... you know he doesn't talk to that many people at school... and you know him so well... but this is just too much...
She'd call him later on his cellphone. She knew he'd still be awake after her shift...

| "Alright, bye Elli." Tatiana waved. She sighed and looked at her watch as well. Stifling a yawn, she decided she should be heading home. Tatiana did a slow but thorough lock up. Books back in their shelves, all the books in mostly correct order, register locked up, and bathrooms cleaned. Tatiana slung her bag over her shoulder, flipped the sign to 'closed' and locked the door behind her. Maybe it's not so bad living here. Just stay away from the traditionalists, really... and things usually are OK... | |

| Drusillus smiled as Tommy struggled in his grasp, despite the fuitility of such an act. The Varghulf's grip tightened, as he drew Tommy in close to his body. With his voice just above a whisper, he spoke. "Say hello to the Grim Reaper for me, boy."
With inhuman strength, Drusillus launched Tommy at, and through, the window, causing the glass to fragment and finally shatter into a shower of sharpened rain. Drusillus moved to the window slowly, watching the human race towards the pavement.

| A TV boy part of the local low life nest was prowling the alley ways looking for a target. Tonight was exceedingly slow for him. "Unlife is such a drag sometimes. Especially when you aren't feeding." he said to himself. He looked up at the sky hoping a solution to simply fall out of the sky. And so it did. The TV boy saw a boy falling towards the ground. from what seemed to be a hotel window. "Well aren't I lucky." he said, smiling devilishly. He began to sprint at an enhanced speed and once he was below the boy like a spider he began to swiftly climb the wall of the hotel, but the falling boy was out of reach if he was simply climbing, so as soon as the falling boy was at the same height, the TV jumped off of the wall catching the boy in his arms and then after a moment of worry as to whether he could make it to a nearby roof top he landed, barely on the edge of the roof, almost losing his balance but soon regaining it. He then looked down at the boy, a little too proud of himself. "Hello my new little snack." he said, grinning hungrily, and bobbing his head a bit around the boy to get a look at him from all sides. "Save it for the hide out Jackle." said the TV girl from outside of the cafe, now carrying the boy she was flirting with unconscious. and over her shoulder. "We feed as a group, no hogging blood for yourself." she said. The boy, apparently named Jackle, looked over at her. "Oh Robin, you are no fun at all." he said, before Robin shot him a glare then raced off towards an abandoned warehouse. | |

| Tommy knew this just had to be it... he could hardly hear as the vampire spoke, though the sound of shattering glass was far too loud. Some of it pierced his skin, as he began crashing toward the ground, inevitably. This was it... he tried to brace himself when another had-to-be-vampire came to him, though he was already going unconcious. He knew this person had to be a vampire, because a regular human couldn't run up a building and catch someone. He overheard some of the conversation, once he was on something more concrete. He heard a girl and a boy, talking about him as food... | |

| As Elouise was walking back to the cafe she noticed Tommy crash through the window and fall. For a moment she considered catching him, but quickly shot it down when she saw a T.V get him instead. She heard it talking about food and grimaced.
She took a step forward, thinking to help him. She stopped realizing that she couldn't take on two T.V's, nonetheless an entire coven. So she instead ran into the cafe. She swiftly walked over to Danielle and tapped her gently on the shoulder.

| Danielle jumped a little as Elli snuck up on her and tapped her on the shoulder. She observed her expression, seeing that she appeared to be concerned. Danielle, unfortunately, had been tending to a customer whom had walked in an ordered a coffee, while Tommy was being supposedly thrown to his death.
"Hey, Elli. What's up?" she asked, a little worried herself.

| Robin jumped from building to building with ease, even carrying the large man on her back. She sighed. She sighed not because she had to deal with Jackle, that happened most nights. She still didn't see what Dove saw in that asshole, especially what had possessed her to turn him, and have him join the group. He was a creepy bugger too. He always had that look of hunger in his silvery blue eyes. But other than that he looked like a skinny 17 year old kid, like most of the TVs in the group. His short gelled up hair, dyed silver made him look like a stuck up punk. The dangerous look in his eyes was masked by the harmlessness of the rest of his body, well if he weren't a TV in the first place. But Robin sighed because this boy wasn't her first possible catch tonight. There was another guy, but she couldn't take him. Why couldn't she take him. That's exactly what she was wondering. "I mean he was, nice to me? He didn't seem as anxious to just jump into bed with me. He wanted to talk and stuff." She began thinking, while the man over her shoulder slowly began to wake up from unconsciousness. His first thought as oppose to scream for help was in fact to grab Robin's bottom. Robin blushed, then instinct kicked in and she gave him a quick chop to the neck, and forcing him into unconsciousness. "Why are guys such pigs?" she asked herself, before a now caught up Jackle reached over her shoulder to grab her chest. She blushed once more, and then again instinct kicked in and she grabbed Jackle's arm and flipped him over her shoulder, making him drop Tommy who rolled near the edge of the roof. "You son of a bitch! If Dove were here she would-!" she began but then Jackle cut in. "You little bitch! You nearly lost me my catch! And you and I both know that Dove is too much of a pushover to do anything to me!" he yelled at her, glaring hard, and walked over to Tommy and picked him up again. Robin was about to retort but she knew that it was true, both statements. She would already be in trouble for attacking Jackle, and she didn't need anybody paying even closer attention to her, or they might find out about her "hesitation". And poor Dove had to put up with an ass like this. "Oh shut up Jackle. And stay away from me outside of the hideout!" she ordered and once again ran off. She ran off wondering how she got groped so often, not even needing to be seductive. | |

| Drusillus's eyes lit up at the sight of the Vampire taking something that he had laid claim to. His features distorted into something primal, as fury took over his senses and muscles. No one touched what was his, be it food or a simple human toy.
He was the Alpha to every vampire in this city, wether they knew it or not. Someone needed a refresher course, it seemed, and he would be thrilled to provide it. A feral roar tore from his mouth, echoing loudly through the streets of the city. The Varghulf vanished from the window seconds later, vanishing into the storm.

| Tommy heard some vague sounds of talking again, incosistently in conciousness and out of it, and then felt himself thrown once again against pavement, crashing back into what he knew was unconciousness again. He felt a few scratches on his head already, bruises developing, but it didn't matter... this whole thing was going to end up the same, no matter what happened.
You... have... to get out... of here... wherever you are...
The air seemed to spread out before him... he opened his eyes, finding things even blurrier than usual, but it was obvious--he was on a rooftop, and he was near falling again.
Then he was scooped up once more over the vampire boy's shoulder... he had to get away from them, somehow...

| Garrett looked up, seeing his apartment looming overhead, and walked in. It was much warmer in there than outside in the rain. He took a moment to just stand in the entrance and warm up a little bit, before walking up to his apartment. He took the stairs, rather than the elevator, thinking it might be a good way to dry off a little.
Garrett took a quick shower and changed into boxers and a T-shirt. He then read a few chapters of a book for homework and then watched some TV. There weren't very many good shows on, however, so Garrett soon got bored and turned the TV off. He sighed and decided to go to bed. ----- Charlotte remained asleep. Sleep that was still tainted with horrible memories of her past and all that she had done. That she had taken satisfaction in doing.

| (("Wait Garrett! Scrubs is on! You have to watch Scrubs!" *jk* XD)) Danielle glanced across the street, just in time to see Tommy hurtling toward the ground. She'd sped out the door, trying to yell across, before someone, a vampire, approached and took him... she thought maybe he was safe, but for some reason, she had a gut feeling that was not the case. And how fast he was heading toward the ground before, it simply could not have been a human throwing him out there. She ran as fast as she could, but she lost sight of the vampire, and the other one now, who'd taken him... They were too high up now, on rooftops. Danielle pulled out her cellphone, fumbling for the right number. 911. "U-Um, I think my friend just got kidnapped b-by vampires..." If only humans worked there, what could they do to help?
