Covert Undercover Night Trucker (T-M/Accepting)

Amethyst walked into the class and apologized for being late. Her voice didn't match her appearance, though she looked very depressed, her voice was light and soft. She actually lifted her head up, showing her face which she usually hid, and found her way to a secluded corner of the room. She put her things down and focused. The only time she wasn't hunched over and hiding her face were when she was with her parents or younger sister on the holidays, when she was alone in her room, and when she was doing something she loved, like writing or taking pictures.

Michael cringed at both the boy's unoriginal nickname and his poor use of grammar. He rolled his eyes at him, "Good name. How original. Maybe next time you can use the creativity of a fifth grader instead of a fourth grader."

He grimaced. He really was in a bad mood today.

Wade squinted at the boy who spoke up, walking slowly over to him, "Hey, I know you...Yeah, the guy from the cafeteria asking me the stupid question. Well, the answer to the question I ignored back in the cafeteria: Shaddup!"

Great comeback. Please, oh witless one, what, pray-tell have you in store for your audience. Besides, for continuity purposes, your name is Kidpool.

"What? Why Kidpool?" Argued Wade with the voice in his head, backing slightly away from Michael.

There is already a Deadpool, and while you're Deadpool in your alternate universe, too many Deadpools get too confusing, so for now: Kidpool. Learn to love it.

"Okay then, Mr. Originality, the name's Kidpool, and that's all you need to know. And if I get any more lip from ya, I'll give you a fat one, which you don't want cause the cost of liposuction is pretty costly. Besides, you look like you're having a bad day, which I'm only guessing from the look on your face on not from the previous post. In such case..."

Wade put a hand on his desk and looked Michael directly in the eye, the right one, and spoke, "...I'll let you off easy, but just this once, cause I'm feeling generous. And seriously, of the most seriously weird seriousness, don't do it again, capice?"

((Correct me if I am wrong, but I think AI's post was referring to Toko's earlier post where a kid made fun of Prince's name. No, wait, I am wrong. Never mind. Seems Michael has English class right now. Hm. Though, if you ask me, it makes no sense for a 15 year old to be in a class with 13 and 14 year olds. I imagine his grade would have a different classroom for him.))

Dallas

Dallas ignored all that was going on with the other students and nodded at what Ariel said. "I agree. In the end, English seems to be an overall useless class unless you plan on becoming a journalist or author. I don't think you need to learn why different parts of a sentence have a different name."

"And," he added silently to himself, "I've been taught this stuff a thousand times over. It's hardly changed over the years."

Ladd

Ladd merrily skipped through the halls, happy to be skipping his first class of the new school year. He'd probably go to the next class, but right now he wanted to get a good layout of this place. Hm, perhaps he could have a better job of not getting caught, too, if he pulled the fire alarm? Ooh, might be interesting! Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps. Besides, Ladd didn't mind getting caught all that much. He was always up for a good chase!

((And my character Jim has a PE class going on now, I suppose, if anyone's interested in having their characters attend that.))

(I was going to have Kirsten in their class and I already have a reason. Though I could change it to gym.)

Kirsten looked at her sheet and sighed. She was wrong. English was next period. She had gym right now. Kirsten beamed. She owned gym. She went into the gym and smiled.

"This is more like it. Gym for my first class."

(Yeah, Michael would have to be in a different English class, unless he's been held back or something. So, I'm posting as if Wade and Michael are in a different classroom then Ariel and Dallas.)

Ariel gave a nod of her head. "I think that it would be cool to take a class from Shakespeare, because he's simply amazing. Have you seen the stuff he's put out?" She reached out and griped his arm in her excitement. "It's beautiful!" She closed her eyes and tipped her head back.

"And this, our life, exempt from public haunt, finds tongues in trees, books in the running brooks, sermons in stones, and good in everything."

She spoke the words in a dramatic fashion, keeping her head tilted to the ceiling, and one arm held out and angled upwards. Then, the line, finished, she opened her eyes and smiled at Dallas. "I think that I was born in the wrong century."

Halli started the music, and followed the instructor in the new dance routine. Every year her dance class performed dances at pep rallies, and they had to dive right in to the routine at the beginning of the year so they could get ready for the homecoming pep rally. Halli yelled at a couple girls for knocking into her or being off beat, but otherwise she was doing fine.

Dallas

Dallas couldn't help but chuckle at Ariel's odd behavior. He was starting to really like this girl. Perhaps her blood would taste just as interesting as she was....

"I agree. I wouldn't have minded being born in Ancient China or Japan. I find their cultures quite fascinating."

He almost laughed at the 'century' comment. Having lived through several hundred years now, he knew for certain he had been born in the wrong century. The 'modern' time period was much more fun than boring old 1600 England had been. Hell, everything was better than cold, soggy England.

Jim

Once his students had assembled, Jim gave them all a bright smile. "Good morning, class. I'll be your PE instructor for the rest of the year, Mister Daniels. No, you may not call me 'Jim' or 'Jimbo' or 'Mr. Fascist'. I expect a certain level of respect from you all, and I will be civil to you all as well. I see we have a bit of a mixed class here, but it's no problem. Now, can any of our returning students tell me what our first assignment of the new semester is, in this class?"

"Yeah. Those places always look so pretty in paintings and everything." She released him and sat back in her seat, so as to bring her legs up. "But that feet binding thing doesn't sound like much fun. I have small feet anyways, though."

Ariel turned then, as the teacher walked into the room. She made a face at Dallas before reaching down to pull out a notebook.

"It's not running laps is it," a male voice called out. Kirsten sighed. Yeah like running laps was so hard.

"It would be running laps, wouldn't it Mr. Daniels," Kirsten said. "After all it's the easiest form of exercise and the best way to get one's blood flowing.

Michael sighed nodded a little, hiding the fact that he was a little afraid of this kid. he seemed off... if not completely insane. He opened his book and waited for the teacher to begin class. Maybe a little English would cheer him up.

Wade smiled under his mask, "Well, awwwright! Glad that that's settled." said Wade as he stepped away from Michael's desk, "Now if only I could find the damn Principal's office. Seriously! This place only has like six buildings...how hard could it be to find one room?!?"

Wade looked back and still noticed that the guy wasn't very happy, so kicking a student out of their chair, Wade sat down beside Michael, "So, what the matter, sour-patch? Not that I really care, or anything, but if it's something that can be solved with violence...then I'm your guy. Though I warn you, I'm not cheap."

Amethyst saw the boy who had defended her at breakfast. The corners of her lips turned upward in an ever-so-small smile. It made her more at ease to know that not everyone at this school was deranged. When she realized that she was included in the classification "deranged", she actually smiled a full smile, something that rarely happened for her in this place.

"Please, just leave me alone, alright? I'm sort of in a bad mood. Didn't get enough to eat for breakfast this morning," he told the boy, trying to hide his annoyance as he referenced the stolen donut.

((So....I guess since no one made an English teacher, I think, mind if I use the teacher in Dallas and Ariel's class as an NPC?))

Jim

"Correct, Kirsten. Alright now, everyone start running!"

(I see nothing wrong with it, as a character is needed and nobody's filled that spot. But, it's up to Toko.)

Kirsten stuck her tongue out at the boy who didn't want to run. Boys were such wimps. It was reason why she didn't like them at all. She started to run, taking the lead around the gym.

Clearly not taking the hint, Wade's eyes opened in mock shock, "Someone stole your breakfast?! Was it the guy that crushed your apple? It was, wasn't it! Well, don't you worry about a thing there..." Wade paused as a thought came to him.

"You know, my alternate universe self has this buddy named Weasel, and he's a pretty smart guy...and you seem like a pretty smart guy. Say, you any good with computers? Never mind, I hereby designate you my new buddy!" Wade announced, swiftly catching Michael in a one-armed hug, "Don't you worry new-designated-buddy-of-who-I-don't- know-the-name-of, for I shall take care of the breakfast stealing fiend!"

Releasing Michael, he stood up, jogging to the door before Michael could speak, "And don't worry about payment, good buddy! This one is a freebie!"

Right, so how do we find this guy?

Wade shrugged as he stepped out into the hall, "Hell if I know," he then caught sight of his prey, apparently skipping class, roaming the halls, "but I think we're off to a good start..." smirked Wade as he began to follow.

Michael frowned, completely shocked by how insane this guy was acting. Not only did he not take a hint, but he mentioned a self in an alternate universe and went out hunting for the 'thief'. He looked to the front of the class. Well, this year was going to be interesting if his morning had any bearing on it.

Amethyst kept glancing out of the corner of her eyes at the door in disbelief. The kid had just walked out of the room. Was he saying stuff about his alternate uiverse self?
Okay, I know that I belong in the looney bin, but THAT was weird She thought to herself. She shook her hair out of her face and stared at her class schedule on her desk.

Halli was overconfidently practicing some pointless dance steps. She knew them already. She was too good for this dance class, but there was no higher level hip hop dance class. Besides, she liked taking classes with people beneath her, it always made her look better.

Dallas, NPC Teacher

"Good morning, class. I am Mr. Fau. Get out your textbooks and start writing the definitions of the words on page 34. After that is done, we can begin our lesson." the teacher said. A moment later there was a shuffling of papers and books as the other students began to comply with the directions. Dallas himself opened his book to the specified page, curious as to how many words were on the page.

....over a hundred. Huh. He was starting to hate this school now....

So, you've found a new buddy, against your anti-social tendencies, defended a girl you don't even know, and started a hunt for some guy, just because he 'stole' your new buddy's breakfast. Is...is that a spark of hero showing through?

"Yeah, so what? Look, I know my alternate universe self got screwed on the hero thing, maybe it will work out for me!" Wade cheerfully exclaimed.

Wade, you and I both know that it's just a law of nature, 'anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.' Wade tried to fight who he was, and what he made himself. You might not have the cancer scars that he does, and you might not have the murderous merc reputation that he does...but things won't go right for you, because at the end of the day, no matter what universe...you're still Wade Wilson.

Wade stopped following the Janitor, who was visibly disturbed by the kid talking to himself that had been following him for the past ten minutes, "It just isn't right....going down without a fight. I can be a hero if I try; true, I'm probably the last person the even be considered for consideration for qualification, but I have to try, you know, for the little people that get pushed around."

So what are you gonna do?

Wade Looked beside him and noticed he had stopped in front of a door, "I'm not sure....but I'll take this as a sign from the narrator." Kicking in the door once again, he shouted, "Boo-Yah! Tell me you weren't expecting that! Go ahead...you know what never mind."

Looking around the newly discovered class, he noted the maps, textbooks, time lines and the current lesson on the Ottoman Empire, "Wow, I didn't know they had a mucis appreciation class!"

Where the hell is our teacher? Amethyst thought, it was quite strange that he instructor still hadn't shown up. Usually, every teacher in this school had a couple qualifications, at least she thought.
#1: They were power hungry fascists, forcing their rules on the students and hoping that someday their equally power hungry students would give them some big benefit with their big jobs.
#2: They let any kid who had some powerful connection get away with murder. That's why she was still allowed to go to school there after her outburst the year before, her father ran a popular toy store chain, and her mother was an author. They cared for their oldst daughter very much and were apalled at the school thinking they would be embarassed by her.
#3: Puncuality was very important to them. I guess they think if the are ever late one of their pupils will become rich and famous and leave before they get to "influence" them

Wade's eye twitched, "My Spidey senses are tingling..." he mutter to himself, "Sorry everyone, as much as I would have loved to have interacted with another player character, I need to get going. Nothin' personal, I just got a thing, at a place, soooooo bye!" With a quick wave he took off down the hall.

Okay, so what are you going to do? It's not like you've ever done this before.

"It's cool, I got this covered." said Wade to the voice in his head, continuing his speedy pace to the English class, "I said I was a teacher in my bio, so I think I can handle this."

I think you're taking that out of context. Besides, what do you have to teach them?

Wade smirked, "It's English class, what else?" he responded as he entered the class, pulling out a pair of glasses and pulling them on over his mask, "Hello class. My name is Mr. Kidpool, or Chocolate Thunder, and I'm your unofficial substitute teacher for...well, until the actual teacher arrives...maybe."

Grabbing a piece of chalk, Wade began to write "Mr. Kidpool" on the black board in very uneven handwriting, pulling out a textbook that he mysteriously acquired.

It's not a mystery, he stole it from another class.

"I do believe the narrator stated mysteriously acquired. Obviously it's just one of life's greatest mysteries that may never be solved, as seen on 'Unsolved Mysteries,' starring Kiefer Sutherland and Ice-T." turning to address the class, "Alright class, I would like you to open your textbooks to page fifteen."

For the first time in his life, Michael's eye began to twitch. This kid was obviously insane, stupid, didn't care about the consequences of his actions, or a combination of the three. No one in their right mind would believe that he was their substitute teacher, especially since he was sitting next to him not a few minutes ago.

"Have you talked to the school counselor this year?" he asked curiously.
