Book 2.5: The Great Fights (Teen) {Open/Spots still open}

Sokka

"Well that's good to know." Sokka replied, a smile on his face. "Still, I have to wonder why you were drunk in the first place..." Sokka added, stroking his chin slowly as though he was trying to solve a riddle.

Suki

"That's for me to know and you to find out." Suki teased, poking Sokka in the shoulder. Well, this hadn't ended out too bad. It could have been a lot worse, sure.

"Say...um, have you told Zuko you slept with his girlfriend?" Suki asked a bit nervously.

Sokka

Sokka's face froze as Zuko was mentioned. "...Mai said it would be better if Zuko never found out. Or she would kill me."

Suki

"Well, good luck with that." Suki said.

((So, now that the Gaang's moving on, what next for those left behind?))

(Since the groups are splitting up we can do the same with the villians. Azula wants them all dead and so she'll send her lackeys after them all.)

(And I think we had the character's discuss the night before(four months ago for us) that those left behind would help the white lotus prepare for the upcoming war. If they could find them all in time.)

((Sounds good to me.))

Azula

"Bring Rao and Ty Lee to me." Azula commanded of her servants.

Sokka

"Yeah well, I think everyone would rather just forget that it happened in the first place." Sokka stated to Suki. Though that wasn't entirely true. Maybe had wished it had never happened, but Sokka knew that if she had wanted it to become an actual relationship afterward, he wouldn't have protested in the least.

(I remember now. Four months ago...XD)

Rao entered the throne room and kneeled down in front of the fire wall that separated the throne from the rest of the room.

"What can I do for you my Lord," Rao asked.

"Hey! Look! We're almost there!" Aang told the others excitedly as they neared the island that Zuko pointed out for them in the map, "Say, do you think we'll find some new animals? When we went to the Southern Air Temple, we got Momo."

Toph doubted they would find anything but she kept quiet. If Aang wanted to think they'd find some animals beyond some insects crawling around them why not let him?

Katara/Zuko

"We don't have time to look for pets." Zuko reminded Aang as he looked up from the map in his hands. The Prince had had his eyes on it for most of the journey now, along with the serious expression resting on his face.

"Oh come on Zuko, lighten up. This could be fun." Katara replied in Aang's defense.

Zuko rolled his eyes in reply. "We came here to learn the secret to Firebending, not to have fun."

"Besides it's kind of like a graveyard if you think about it. And what kind of fun can you have there," Toph added, with a small smirk. She was actually excited to see the Temple after hearing about it.

"Not even graveyards are devoid of life. The monks said that graveyards and ruins were for us to remember our loved ones by and not to be afraid. Besides, you find a lot of cute animals in ruins, like Momo!" Aang said opitmistically.

Katara/Zuko

"It doesn't matter if there's any cute animals there or not. We don't have time to start an animal rescue center." Zuko commented, sounding frustrated with Aang and Katara's lighthearted manner.

Sokka/Mai

Sokka looked over the campsite, satisfied to see that they had packed everything up in good time. Aang and Katara had left on Appa a few hours back, and Sokka had quickly taken charge just minutes after they were gone. "Ok guys! It'll take two days of walking but I'm sure that once we're at Zhal we can buy some new supplies."

Suki, Jin

"Sounds good to me." Jin replied, packing up the last of her things. Her double-bladed sword she had purchased long ago was strapped to her back at the moment, which made it a little hard for her to carry everything, but she'd get used to it. It'd be good for her training, anyway.

"We do have a map that shows how to get there, right?" Suki asked Sokka, wanting to make sure.

Azula, Ty Lee

Ty Lee soon bounded into the room after Rao, doing a cartwheel to get to the throne before kneeling in front of Azula.

"Good, you are both here. The Avatar will soon be coming to the Fire Nation. I have no doubt about that, with Sozin's Comet coming here soon. I cannot let the Avatar threaten my plans, even though I know he cannot stop me. Rao, Ty Lee, I have a special mission for the both of you."

"Haha, very funny Sokka," Teo commented as he rolled over next to Sokka, pretending to be insulted. He crossed his arms.

Sokka

Sokka frowned at Teo's joke, not understanding the boy's sense of humor.

"Well of course we have the map." Sokka replied as he pulled a small scroll of paper out of his pocket. The Water Tribe boy opened the scroll to show Suki, causing his face to to drop as he realized that it was a note from his Sister explaining that she had taken the map with her.

Jet had finished packing and he strapped his hook swords to his back. He walked over to the others.

"I'm all set to go."

Haru came up beside him, nodding as well. "Me too."

On Ji was ready as well, though she was disappointed she couldn't have gone with her half-brother. But at least she wasn't alone.

"What is it," Rao asked, still kneeling. She knew Azula's temper well enough.

Suki

"Why am I not surprised?" Suki muttered, shaking her head. "Well, what now? Do we have any extra maps?"

Azula

"I already have a plan with how to deal with Zuzu and the Avatar. However, since they have such a large group, it's only natural that they split off into smaller numbers, to seem less suspicious. Rao, Ty Lee, you will be working with that bounty hunter I hired before to find the friends the Avatar left behind in the Earth Kingdom, and either bring them to me, or kill them. If one of them happen to be Mai...bring her to me alive." Azula commanded. Ty Lee looked a little nervous at the last part Azula said, but quickly covered that up and said nothing about it.

"Of course, Azula!" Ty Lee said in a somewhat cheery voice.

"Yes Fire Lord Azula," Rao said, bowing low. She, unlike Ty Lee, had to problem with taking on the group. In fact she couldn't wait to fight them again. And this time she was going to win.

Sokka/Mai

"No. Sokka only bought one when we were traveling." Mai answered Suki's question, sounding bored as she sat on some of the supplies beside On Ji.

"Well....we know we just have to travel South. We can buy a new map in the next town and have the white lotus people there mark it for us....." Sokka offered.

"Are you guys always unprepared," On Ji asked innocently.

They landed at the Temple and Toph got off Appa as quickly as she could. She was glad to be back on the ground. She felt around trying to get a feel of the place.

"Nice place I guess," she said.

"It's beautiful," Aang commented, jumping onto the ground admiring the ruins. They seemed to be a lot different from normal Fire Nation architecture. It seemed to be more spiritual and a bit less proud.

"I'm guessing they are," Teo commented thoughtfully.

Sokka/Mai

"Wha-!? No we are not! I am usually very prepared and I wo-" Sokka began to protest, his voice getting very high-pitched.

"It's always like this." Mai cut him off.

Zuko studied the area, a Temple high above the ground a few miles away. "That's where we should go." The Prince stated as he jumped off of Appa.
