| Here is pages 36-40.
Georgie Tobi did not hesitate or pull away for a moment as she cried into Dorjee's wrapped-chest. She cried for a while - a few minutes - before she nodded, her cheek grazing against his robes. "I feel... I feel so unsafe here... And I feel like people are unsafe around me, no matter what I am a-and when... I don't u-understand..." Tobi blubbered, her eyes shut as the tears squeezed out. She could feel the diary between them, still locked within her fingers.
Plaguewalker Dorjee rubbed her back soothingly, smiling softly at her. "People are perfectly fine around you. In fact, they're better off for being around. You brighten anyone's day..."Especially mine He added in his head, trying to comfort her as best he could. "I'll make sure you always stay safe, Tobi. I promise you that."
manysidestome By now, Fuegar felt much better, and he sat up. "I thank you for your assitance Alice, and I'm sorry you assume I'm a... less than desireable being, but it's common in my species, I can live with it. I can't stay here, without hurting anyone else, and this school has too many problems without me," he said. He stood up, and walked slowly toward the door. "I appreciate the time I had as an Unwanted, but I can't continue at it, I'm too unpredictable." He left the basement and slowly, but surely, walked toward an exit.
Fire Lord Jason listened to Thomas' sobs from his bed. A small smile creeped onto his lips.
"Perfect."
The nurse walked over, pulling the curtain away.
"Okay Jason, you can go, but make sure to take it easy. No exercise for at least a week."
Jason nodded.
"Thank you Maam," he said, wincing and getting to his feet. He turned to look over at Thomas, a sad expression on his face.
"Thomas...I...I just..."
He sighed, turning away and heading towards the door.
"I hope you feel better."
When he exited the nurse's office, the small smile returned.
"One down. Now, off to the cafeteria for my next performance. The Haters should have gotten the boy up by now."
manysidestome Fuegar saw Jason leaving the Nurse's office and stared at him for a minute. Hmm... I suppose Thomas could prove his guilt without me... after all, I didn't do much good tailing him, what else could I do, he thought. He just felt bad that he was leaving all the work for Thomas... or he would have if he didn't block emotions.
Georgie Tobi smiled as she opened her eyes and pulled away, sniffing softly as she tucked some sodden tangles behind her ear. "Thanks Dorjee... But... Not tomorrow..." Tobi inwardly kicked herself. Stupid! Now he may ask why?! Tobi smiled quickly and turned - "Can you wait a moment? I just want to change..." Tobi spoke, not looking at Dorjee as she wiped her cheeks.
Plaguewalker Dorjee noodded, stepping away from the door so she could close it and have her privacy. "Sure, Tobi." He said, glad she wasn't crying anymore. He silently wonder what she had meant by tommorrow. What was so special about tommorrow? Did it have to do with the full moon?
Georgie Tobi moved into her room, shut the door - but not before flashing a quick smile at Dorjee - but then, proceeded to press her forehead against the door. "Stupid!" She muttered to herself, inwardly kicking several times before she sighed and peeled away from the door. She hurried to her cupboard, pulled out her uniform and clean underwear and dressed.
She moved to the mirror above her desk and fixed her face, wiping the snail-trail's that her tears had left and fixed her hair with her fingertips again. She then, looked around her room - as if checking for anyone else before she opened her cupboard and stowed her diary within her sock drawer, burying it beneath the layers of clothing. She would pick another hiding place when she returned that afternoon, she thought.
She chewed her lip as she moved back towards the door, trying to think of a credible lie if Dorjee questioned her idiotic 'not tomorrow' comment as she pulled the door open, smiled and walked out, shutting it again.
"Ready?"
Plaguewalker Dorjee nodded, still wondering about why tommorrow he couldn't protect her. The only sure why he could know was if he asked. He gave a look down the hall, before looking back at Tobi. "Tobi, what is so special about tommorrow?" He asked, hoping she didn't mind him asking.
Casey Jewels Thomas continued to stare off into space, ignoring Jason and his words. Maybe... if he ignored everybody, everyone would ignore him. He knew deep down inside that this would never work. Once the Unwanted found out what he had done... Another tear slipped down his cheek. Tobi would be absolutely furious at him. She would never forgive him for something like this. And Alice... Well, he wasn't exactly sure how Alice would respond to the whole thing. Fuegar... he would...
"Fuegar!" Thomas cried out as he bolted upright. He had completely forgotten about the demon. Much to the nurse's dismay, he slid out of the bed and headed for the door that Jason had just gone through. While all of his wounds had now been treated, he was still no where recovered enough to be moving around, but he refused to give in to the pain until he was sure that his companion was all right.
"Thomas!" the nurse snapped at him and hurriedly moved in front of the door. "You get back in bed this instant! You shouldn't be moving about in this condition."
"But..." The Unwanted attempted to move past her, but his legs decided to give out right then and he collapsed onto the floor.
The nurse shook her head in disgust and dragged Thomas back over to the bed, who whimpered in complaint of the treatment. "Stay there. You're friend, if he's hurt, will be brought here shortly."
"But..."
She glared down at Thomas. "I don't choose sides in this silly little war of yours. I only heal those that are hurt because of it." And with that she disappeared from view, on her way to check on some of her other patients.
(I've been meaning to say this for awhile now, but I've always spaced it when I'm posting, so... Fire Lord, you play amazing villains.)
TokoToTheEnd (hey! What's been happening? I had a concert yesterday so I wasn't able to get on.)
Casey Jewels (Summary... Summary... Gah! I can't really remember what happened yesterday..., but I'll try my best. Thomas and Jason had another little talk while in the nurse's office and now Thomas isn't so sure that Jason's a Hater. Jason just left, happy that he's taken care of Thomas for now. Fuegar is thinking about leaving the school, because he's tired of all the hiding and putting others in danger and yada yada. Tobi and Dorjee talked... and Dorjee said that he'd protect her. And I think that's about it)

| TokoToTheEnd (Good. it is now morning. I can't wait for the ending.....you have no idea what I've planned. The things to come.....they are PERFECT!!! *insert Laharl's laugh*)
Alice sat at a table, eating her eyes always watching. It was a little nerve wracking to see Haters all around. Alice knew of course that since there was also humans, innocent people, the Haters would do nothing to her, but it still didn't make Alice feel much better about the current situation.
Faith woke up, rubbing her eyes. Peace smiled at her twin.
"You're such a sleeper. You went to bed at eight!!" Faith nodded, still tired. Thinking about last night, Faith did realize that she couldn't remember anything after eight. Everything else was just a blurred dream.
Peace pulled her sister out of the room after she dressed and they went to breakfast.
Fire Lord (Hey thanks!)
A loud yell came from the cafeteria. Crowded around the wall on the far side was a large group of students. Jason was on his knees in dismay, all of them looking up at the wall.
Pinned to it by rags tied around his limbs was the boy the Haters had passed judgement on last night. His shirt was torn to reveal the tatooed Unwanted symbol. There were countless marks and bruises over his body.
On the wall that the boy was pinned on was a large painted symbol of the Haters. All over the boy's body was the word "Unwanted", painted in black and red ink.
Over the symbol of the Unwanted was a large gash in his skin that formed the word "Scarecrow".
Jason shook his head.
"Michael," he muttered, identifying it as the boy he had protected from the bullies yesterday. Tears appeared in his eyes and he rushed foward, pulling the boy from the wall.
"Michael...Michael!" he yelled, shaking the unconcious boy.
Michael's eyes cracked open, but he didn't look up at anyone. He mumbled inconsistently under his breath, staring blankly at one point on the floor.
"Absolutely perfect."
TokoToTheEnd Alice watched in disgust at the scene. She didn't know who this Scarecrow guy thinks he is, but since the Haters have seem to waged war on the Unwanted, Alice knew she wouldn't find out eventually.
Faith walked in and saw the scene too. She retched and puked on the floor. Peace moved away from her suster and grinned in satisfaction at what she saw. 'Things are going very well. Soon the whole school will be against them.'
Peace kneeled by Faith and smiled at her. "You'll be ok."
manysidestome Marcus walked into the cafeteria and looked first at Faith and Peace, and then at the boy on the wall. "Absolutely barbaric," he commented. Well soon, the whole school will be so scared of being accused of being an Unwanted, they'll all turn on them just to save themselves. Genius, Scarecrow, he thought.
Casey Jewels (You're welcome!)
Thomas waited about thirty seconds before he slid back out of bed and started towards the door once more. I have to check on Fuegar... I have to make sure that he's all right... And I need someone to talk to. He came to a halt as he stepped out of the nurse's office. "Fuegar," he called out softly and stumbled towards the demon. "What are you doing here?"
manysidestome "I was about to leave," Fuegar said. "I still plan on doing it. I just paused to ponder whether or not you'll be ok with Jason still out and about. You're higher on his list now than anyone else, and I'm the only other one who doesn't believe him."
TokoToTheEnd (Technically Alice doesn't either, but that's because they never met)
Alice walked over to Faith and Peace. Faith was still looking at the floor. She didn't notice the glares that Peace and Alice were giving eachother.
"Sad thing, isn't it," questioned Peace. Alice nodded.
"Yeah, stupid too. Those Haters don't know when to quit."
"Neither do those foolish Unwanted."
Faith looked up at the two serious girls. She had no idea what was going on.
Casey Jewels "Oh..." He threw an arm around the demon, partly to help him stay upright, and partly to get his point across. "I need you, Fuegar. Now more than ever." He wiped at his red eyes, which were starting to water again. "Please don't leave me to sort out all of this by myself, because I can't..." I need to talk with you... about Jason. I just don't know if you'll listen... or if you'll just be disappionted in me...
manysidestome "I don't know... I don't know why I'm here. I don't know why I cared enough in the first place to help. I don't know why I joined the Unwanted, instead of the haters, or staying out of it. And I don't know why I even tried living with others," Fuegar said. "It makes no sense, yet I did it... and I'm not going to start being logical now I guess. I'll stay here then."
Casey Jewels Thomas let out a sigh of relief. "Good, because I have something to talk to you about. Just..." He glanced back at the nurse's office and then down each end of the hall. "Not here. Somewhere safer." Even though it really doesn't matter anymore... The Haters know... With that thought he let his wings out a little more, but not enough that they would be the first thing that a person noticed when looking at the two of them. He still had to be somewhat careful, for anyone... No, he had to be even more careful then before. The Haters would be suspicious of everyone that he hung out with now that they knew.
iamkatara Rachel walked into the cafateria, wanting to go get the boy, but she was a servant to the Haters now, even if she didn't want to be. SHe whispered to Marcus, "Was this the boy they got last night?" It had to be. She saw them take him away into the darkness, but she wasn't going to tell anyone that. Especially a Hater.
TokoToTheEnd Faith shook her head in confusing, running out. She wanted nothing to do with Haters or Unwanted. She was just a young girl trying to pass school. Faith felt sick, but she knew that somehow she was suck in the middle. ----------- Alice and Peace contiuned to glare, neither talking. Peace saw Faith run, but she decided it was best to leave her alone.
manysidestome "I suppose so, this is what happens when you try to threaten innocent people," Marcus replied to her in a very low whisper. There were few people who knew he was a hater, he didn't like to advertise it. He really didn't care that much for innocent people anyway, he didn't know why he did anything like this anyway, and why he was a part of the haters. Maybe just boredom.
"Just point the way, and I can get us there," Fuegar said. "Just a question, did Jason get to you in there? He's cunning that one, and I'm not sure anyone that used emotions constantly could keep back doubts or their belief in him."
iamkatara Rachel nodded. "No use standing around. We might as well just get food." She went over to the food counter and grabbed some ramen and an apple and sat at a distant table where no one would hear her. If she needed to talk to Marcus, she wanted to speak in private. No one needed to know he was a Hater, but why did she care so much?
Casey Jewels "I..." Thomas hung his head in shame. He pointed down the hall and to the right. "There's an empty classroom there. It's not used anymore, except for a storage room. We should be safe there." I know that he's cunning... Or, at least, I think I know. I'm just so confused...

| manysidestome Fuegar headed there, and quickly entered it. He set Thomas down and closed the door, and turned on a light. "Ok, let's hear it, we can't be gone from sight long or someone is bound to get suspicious."
TokoToTheEnd Faith headed to the lake. Classes will still closed and the school system was going crazy. It didn't really bother Faith. She just hoped nothing happened to her or her sister. Faith really cared about Peace.
Casey Jewels Thomas let out the breath that he had been holding and then shrugged his shoulders while staring down at the ground. "I don't know what to believe anymore," he whispered softly. "I thought that... that getting rid of Jason would end all of our problems, but now... I'm not so sure. Jason... he... his wounds..." He bit his lip and fell silent, waiting for Fuegar to yell at him or something.
Georgie Tobi felt as if he had punched her in the stomach as she scrambled across lies, thinking, weighing up the chances of telling him the truth. She looked up at him and smiled sadly. "Dorjee... I... I want to tell you, but..." Tobi looked away, fiddling with the ends of her hair nervously, "...But I'm afraid you'll hate me..."
iamkatara Once Rachel finished her food, she threw it away and went over to Marcus. She whispered in his ear. "I'm going outside. Where do I need to be tonight?"
Plaguewalker Dorjee gave her a shocked look from behind his coverings. "Hate you? Why on earth would I hate you? If anything you should hate me after what it said..." The Unwanted said. How could she even think that? He thought, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Tobi, i will never hate you, no matter what."
manysidestome "Jason got to you, made you doubt yourself, and now you're not sure whether he is bad or not," Fuegar said. "You knew Jason was cunning, and he could have tricks up his sleeves, but you still fell for what you thought looked real. In essence, he is a magician, illusions are his specialty, and keeping his true workings a secret." If Thomas was out, then Jason would have free reign, no one would be left to doubt him.
"Outside the cafeteria, I will come and get you, and lead you to where we need to be," Marcus whispered. He left and got some food, and sat down alone to eat, keeping his appearance up as a loner.
iamkatara Rachel nodded and went outside. She didn't feel like going to any classes so she went near the lake and sat down. She had hours before sundown.
Casey Jewels Thomas thumped his head against the desk he was sitting at and then let out a low moan. "I'm not sure if it's just some more of his trickery... or if he's really sincere about helping us out... He said... He said that, because of what I said, he wasn't going to help out the Unwanted anymore, since he didn't feel appreciated. If he really was after info about us, then he wouldn't leave us alone, would he?" He looked up at Fuegar, the tears coming back to his eyes.
TokoToTheEnd ALice finished her breakfast and went to check on Thomas and Fuegar only to see them not there. She wonder where they went.
manysidestome "If he really wanted to help us, he would, whether he was appreciated or not. If the only reason he helps us is because he wants to, he wouldn't quit because of one person voicing doubts. He would only say he'd stop because he has an alterior motive, and he wants you to want him to help, and stay with them to gather information," Fuegar said. Logical thinking was easy when feelings and emotions didn't cloud the mind.
Casey Jewels Thomas slowly nodded. "Yeah... That makes sense..." He flashed Fuegar a small grin, but then the grin faded away as quickly as it had come. He makes things so much easier to understand, but still... "But is he really so devoted to this as to risk his life for a single Unwanted, when no one else is around...?"
manysidestome "I can't go into his mind, so I don't know what he thinks, but I can safely say, that if he goes out of his way to seem an ally to the Unwanted and be a hater in secret, nothing is too crazy to say about him," Fuegar said. "He will get rid of anyone he thinks is a threat. I can garuntee that you will soon be a target."
Casey Jewels Thomas nodded once more. "Thanks, Fuegar. I needed that. I needed that a lot." He glanced towards the door and then down at the desk. But now what am I going to do? He's right, they're going to try to take me out soon, especially... He bit his lip and glanced at his wings. "I have to stay away from everyone," he said softly. "Otherwise..., I'll just be endangering them... and you."
manysidestome "We should stick together. Because no matter what, I'm always endangering people. At least we're endangering each other if we stick together," Fuegar said. "Besides, I don't think that any hater can stand up to me without walking away with a lot of injuries."
Casey Jewels "If you're sure..." Thomas slowly pushed himself up onto his feet and started towards the door. "C'mon. Let's go eat. We have classes today and I don't want to be late." He reached into his pocket for his sash, but then remembered that he had left it on the bed. Great. I'm just leaving my stuff everywhere this days, aren't I?
TokoToTheEnd Alice walked around confused and sighed. She had to get her things for class. A Hater passed her by and they exchange a look. Alice sigh, knowing it was going to be a long day. ------------- Peace sat in the cafertia, not caring about classes. She would get there on time, but for now she had to think about where she was doing the right thing being a Hater. ------------- Faith opened a drawer and took her school books and other items out.

| manysidestome "Sure, let's go then," Fuegar said. "I think I might just skip classes today, it's not like I would be any use there when I'm sleeping." He chuckled and opened the door.
Casey Jewels Thomas offered him a smile as he walked out of the room. "Yeah... Last night was pretty exhausting, but..." He pulled his wings in close to his body out of habit, though it wouldn't do much to hide them in the long run. "I don't want them to think that I'm afraid of them. A person can call me many things, but coward is not one of them." He started back towards the nurse's office.
manysidestome "Well do what you want, but being at 100% seems like it would be more of a priority than proving yourself to haters," Fuegar said, heading for the cafeteria. First food, the rest, then that night, probably some work, or more rest.
Casey Jewels Thomas stepped inside of the nurse's office, grabbed his sash, and then walked back out. He quickly headed after Fuegar, wincing with each step he took. But even with his wounds, it didn't take him too long to catch up. "Classes are easy. They don't take much out of me." He tied the sash back around his eye. "So I can recover, while still getting my work done." And while keeping an eye on Jason. Though that might do nothing more than just confuse me even more...
manysidestome "Ok, I understand," Fuegar said. "I'm still going to sleep though, so you'll know where I'll be if you require my assistance."
Casey Jewels Thomas nodded. "Alright." He stifled back a yawn and stared down at his bandaged arms. "So are we going to try again tonight? This time I'll take the last watch."
manysidestome "I don't know, we need to keep an eye on him before dark if we do," Fuegar said. "Or... set a trap. If we could turn the tables on them, hunt them for a change, it might give us an edge. But, unfortunately, I don't know how to do so."
Casey Jewels "Let's think over it. After the last class ends, I'll come and find you. Then we can discuss this in more detail." And hopefully I won't be so confused by then... Thomas stumbled, but caught himself before he could fall. "You gonna eat first?" he asked. "Or do we part ways now?"
manysidestome "I am going to eat now, I need some nourishment. Last night almost killed me, and took up most of my energy. It is getting very tedious for me to even walk at this point," Fuegar said.
Casey Jewels The night seems to be taking more and more out of us these days... Thomas placed an arm around Fuegar. "Shall we help each other then?" he asked.
manysidestome "If we don't, no one else will," Fuegar replied. The demon fought his lack of energy, and continued to walk, even though he was soon going to run out again. He should have spent more time in the basement.
TokoToTheEnd Peace walked out of the cafertia and started towards the school. She was a minute late, but she could deal with being yelled at. -------------- Faith was already in her seat, doddling. She wasn't in the mood to concentrate. Her mind was wandering everywhere.
Casey Jewels "You've got that right." Maybe I should have stayed in the nurse's office... But then he caught the scent of some bacon, which was coming from the direction of the cafeteria. His mouth watered and some drool spilled out of his mouth. He hurridely sucked it back in and then quickened his pace.
iamkatara Rachel smiled and got up. Mabye she would go to classes. Her teacher wouldn't care if she was late. She was one of the best students. She went into the classroom and saw Faith. The only seat that was open was next to her. Great...
TokoToTheEnd Faith looked over and smiled, shyly at Rachel. She saw her with Alice and her other weird friends, but she didn't really know the girl.
Alice walked in and sighed. The teacher frowned at her.
"You're late."
"Tell me something I don't know."
"How about you have a detention. Now take a seat." Alice looked around the room and shook her head. "Where?"
The teacher ignored her and Alice decided to leave. She turned and left without another word.
iamkatara Rachel smiled back, then at the teacher. She looked at Faith. She made a half smile. She knew Faith was neuteral, but she needed to know. "What did you do last night since that noise? There was a lot of rucus by how it sounded. I hope no one got hurt from it."
TokoToTheEnd (Faith isn't a Hater. Her sister is. Actually Faith is the only nuetral person which is going to work wonders for my plans later. *grins evilly* Oh the things to come. I can't wait!!)
Faith stared at Rachel confused(she had her memory wiped by Peace).
"What are you talking about? I went to bed at eight last night. I don't remember any noise or anything relating to that."
iamkatara Rachel nodded. So she wasn't a hater, which might help the unwanted later. "Wow, you slept through a lot then." She moved closer. "I heard the Haters attacked last night. Seemed like they did some really horrible stuff. I wouldn't want to get mixed up with them." The teacher cleared his throat and she went back to taking notes.
TokoToTheEnd Faith heard the teacher and looked at her own notes-which were all doodles of random things. Faith moved her pencil quick and passed Rachel a note.
What is with this whole thing between the Unwanted and the Hater?
manysidestome OOC: Raqueal is neutral Toko.
Casey Jewels "Here we are," Thomas said as they came to the cafeteria, which was mostly empty now that classes were starting. He breathed in all of the different scents and let a small smile come to his face. The food smelled more delicious than usual, but that might have been for the simple fact that he had used up a lot of energy since he had last eaten.
iamkatara Rachel took the note and looked at it. She scribbled back,
What are you talking about? Who?
She though to herself, Please don't let it be about me. I have enough on my plate already.
manysidestome "Heh, guess classes started already. Better for us, we can eat in peace, then you can sneak in class and I can sneak to bed," Fuegar said. "Unless you'd rather us go screaming and yelling down the halls."
Casey Jewels Thomas chuckled at this and released his grip on Fuegar. "Yeah... like either of us is up for something like that." He nervously pulled his wings in closer as the students there started to whisper and point at him. His entire body tensed up and his breathing quickened. "Let's just hurry and eat," he whispered and grabbed a tray.
manysidestome "I don't see why you hide it, the whole school will know soon anyway," Fuegar said. "But a part dragon like you shouldn't worry what mortals think, or about what mortals will try to do." He grabbed a tray and loaded on some undercooked meat, which thankfully there was alot of. The less cooked it was, the more he liked it.
Casey Jewels "But... I can't help it. I've been hiding what I am for my entire life. It just doesn't feel right... to be exposed like this." He quickly filled up the tray with several items of food, must of which were meat. And the Haters... What are they going to do to me, now that I no longer can hide... He started towards an empty table and glanced back to make sure that Fuegar was following.

| TokoToTheEnd (Oh, well my plans are still going to panned out......yes.......)
The Unwanted and the Haters. You know those two secret groups. All I hear or see is about how they hate eachother or them doing something to thwart the other. Why do they hate eachother?
manysidestome "Well, you don't have that luxury, you're exposed, and the more you try to hide it, the more people will go for you. They see you as a weak and scared freak. Only by staying strong and confident will they question your weakness," Fuegar said. "But you're talking to a guy without emotions. I couldn't feel anything for anyone if I tried."
Casey Jewels "Which is why I talk to you," He said to the demon and sat down at the table. "While I can get confused or frightened by my emotions, you can't." He stared down at his food, tempted to just rip it to shreds. "And that makes a lot of sense, only..." He picked up the juicy steak, shivering as some of the juice ran down his hand. "I don't like to be noticed. I much rather just stay in the background. It's in my very nature to hide."
manysidestome "If you haven't noticed, that's not working out too well," Fuegar said. "But whatever, sooner or later, we're going to have to come out and face the haters. It's only a matter of time. And the more we stall the more time they have to prepare. We're as ready as we'll ever be, but they can still recruit people."
Casey Jewels Thomas took a bite of the steak and nodded his head as he chewed. "I know, but still..." He fell silent, wanting to just forget about the whole thing and eat. At least his first class, Advanced Biology, was fairly small, so there wouldn't be too many people there to watch him...
manysidestome "Both sides are about secrecy, and while we're in the dark, we pick each other off. One of us has to have the guts to come out into the open and defy the other. The sooner we do it, the sooner the haters will have to respond, or risk being seen as the weaker side. They have pride in themselves, and will probably come out to face us, whether they're told to or not," Fuegar said. He thought it very likely this course of action would happen, but he was prepared in case they were wrong.
Casey Jewels Thomas swallowed the last bit of the steak and started on the sausage. "Maybe... It would certainly make it a lot easier to fight them off if we knew who they really were..." He glanced around at the students, fighting back a wave of terror as he did so. For all he knew, they were all Haters. But why did it have to be me?
manysidestome "If I introduce the idea to any other Unwanted, will you back me up on it? I fear that no one else will be strong enough to openly defy the haters if only one person is willing, but if two are, more people might come until the sheer numbers invoke courage in the others," Fuegar said. "And before they catch wind of the Jason fiasco."
Casey Jewels "Yeah..." Thomas looked up at Fuegar. "I will. After all, we are friends." He then returned to his meal, wanting to finish it as quickly as possible, so that he could get out of here. I'm only openly defying them because I have too, not because I want to... I'm not sure if any of the Unwanted will do this. It's just... deadly.
manysidestome "We will have to enact it tonight whether the others agree or not. They will join us because they are not heartless. They won't let the two of us face down the haters alone, even if they are frightened. It will be wise to counsel with them first, for they will be more adept at helping if they know what we're doing," Fuegar said, finishing his meal. The peices were falling into place, they just needed to wait now.
Casey Jewels Thomas finished up his own meal and climbed onto his shaky feet. They were a little more stable now that he had some food in him, but they were still weak. If I'm still here by then... he thought grimly, but forced a smile on his face. "Sounds like a plan. But I'm off to class now. Sleep well." He headed towards the washrack with his empty tray.
manysidestome "Don't tire yourself out more than you already have," Fuegar said. "And come get me if the haters make a move." He put his tray up and then headed to his room. He was not a good student, he didn't put his efforts toward school at all. He was bright and intelligent, and his favorite class was history, but he didn't see the point in learning anything but how to survive. He wasn't going to get a job, he was likely going to live on his own in the wilderness, and become part of the food chain at the top, hunting, not domesticating.
Casey Jewels Thomas nodded at Fuegar and then watched as the demon made his way out of the room. He then put his own tray up and stumbled off in the direction of the classroom. Without Fuegar there to support him as he walked, it was much harder to stay upright. I so can't wait until this day is over...
iamkatara She grabbed the note again.
I think it's because the Haters want to rid the school of the unwanted. It seems that they hate them because they're different. That's all I've learned though.
She passed the note back. Luckily the teacher didn't see. The note was problems that would have some dangerous consequences.
TokoToTheEnd Faith nodded at Rachel.
I think that's stupid. I mean we're all different.
iamkatara Rachel smiled.
I know. It's no use fighting over something we can't change.
Oh... Follow my lead.
Rachel started sneezing and looked at the teacher. "May *sneeze* I go to the *sneeze* nurses?" She looked at Faith to do something else.
TokoToTheEnd Faith got the idea. She bent over and started to dry heave. She focused and she puked on the floor.
Georgie Tobi tried a smile as she began to walk the hallway slowly. "Thanks Dorjee... But the last time I told someone my secret, I had to leave my life behind and start again... And people got hurt... Including me..." Tobi's eyes fell again, her mind flashing distressing memories through her head.
"But," She said after a moment, looking up at him sincerely, "I think I can trust you... No, I know I can." Tobi said, pushing her way through the doors and into the great outdoors.
Plaguewalker Dorjee followed her, stepping outside as well. He gave her a smile from beneath his coverings, glad she trusted him. The unwanted stopped, looking out over the grass and trees at the sky. It was peaceful, probably because everyone was in class, but still. "So, what happens tommorrow?" He asked quietly.
iamkatara Rachel smiled as she saw faith follow her idea. When she got outside the classroom she went outside. She had no intention of going to the nurses. She saw Tobi and Dorjee, smiling and waving to them. She walked along the grass, seeing the birds fly through the clouds.
Georgie Tobi felt that sickly tingle in her skin - the very same tingle that you get when you know you're next up for an injection. That sense of sickening inevitably.
"Tomorrow night... I..." Tobi struggled for words, fighting the urge to simply blurt it out, in case of eavesdroppers. "... Well, tomorrow night, there's a full moon and, erm..." Tobi was fiddling with her hair again, looking out across the area, seeing Rachel and waving back before she looked to Dorjee.
"And well... I... "
manysidestome Raqueal was up in a tree again in the forest. He just didn't want to go to class today, it was too nice outside to waste indoors learning human knowledge. What did he care for it, when nature gave him everything he needed for survival and happiness? He only went as to keep the authorities off of him, but he never really learned anything.
Plaguewalker Dorjee watched her silently, awaiting her answer. This might take awhile. He thought, not even bothering to wave back at Rachel. He knew she was there, and she knew he was there, no need for a stupid wave. "Tobi, I understand if you're uncomfortable telling me. You don't have to tell me if you don't want to. I don't want to force you."
Georgie "I turn into a werewolf." Tobi blurted out suddenly - inwardly her eyes widened, but Tobi tried to keep an expressionless face as she stared at the ground.
She let silence steal the air around them for a while, before she sighed heavily and sat on the grass, cross-legged and picking at the green stalks. "And... I'm a dangerous one at that... I-I don't really know friends from potential food and... And I black-out alot..." Tobi said quietly, feeling that dreaded shame sinking her heart like a lead weight.
iamkatara Rachel walked through the field and into the forest. She took out her book and sat down at a tree's base, not realizing that Raquel was above her. She was reading Phantom of the Opera. She loved that book so much.
Plaguewalker Dorjee looked at her, his expression soft. The Unwanted sat down beside her, and looked up at the sky. "You're worrying about nothing. You've got nothing to be ashamed about. I'm more of a threat than you." He said, his voice calm. It was the simple truth. Dorjee was more a monster than Tobi.
manysidestome Raqueal looked down at Rachel and smiled. "Hello there stranger," he called to her. He felt something was off with her though, so he stayed up in the tree, in case she didn't feel like having company.
iamkatara Rachel looked up and smiled. "Hey Raqueal." She put her book back in her bag and climbed up the tree. She put herself next to him. "What have you been doing out here? We have classes." She smiled. "I have an excuse." She fake coughed. "I'm sick..." She laughed. Rachel looked at Raqueal. "You're not like anyone else you know."
manysidestome "I don't see the point of learning when it's nothing I need. Nature teaches me what I need to know, and as I don't intend to live with humans, I don't need to know their education. I suppose I wouldn't be like anyone I know, sense I don't know any other elves, aside from you," Raqueal said. "Besides, I'm a trouble student, they won't question why I'm out."

| iamkatara Rachel smiled. "You are not a trouble student. You don't get into fights, you don't do things wrong, you barely talk to anyone except me. You're a perfect guy." She shook her head. "You don't see yourself like I do." She laid down on the branch. "You're so different, it's liberating. I skipped class so I could be free from it all." She paused. "Now I see why you come out here so much." manysidestome "I meant since I'm at this school, I'm a trouble student. The adults couldn't care less about us, this is pretty much prison. I'm not perfect either, but I am different. I've always been different, elves are another species after all. Humans are... to put it simply, barbaric. They have a sick idea of progress, while nature likes to keep constant, it slowly grows, not as fast as humans. I base myself off nature's example. And as far as I know, nature lives on, and so do elves. We live very long lives, if not eternal, then at least centuries. For example, it may be three decades before I mature again, and reach an adult form." He switched into elven halfway through his monolouge, without realizing it. "This is the greatest spot in nature at this school, so I come here alot." iamkatara Rachel smiled and spoke Elven as well, giggling at his sudden language change. "I guess I can understand that. It's all so new to me though and I guess it's just something I have to realize." She laughed at his thoughts. "Beign a human for a while was fun., but being an elf expands my learning and life somehow. It's like I'm closer to everything." She paused to take everything in, and to work up courage to ask the question. "Do elves love?" manysidestome "Elves are calmer, they are more patient, and they have greater understanding. We are more... openminded and accepting of the universe, while humans stubbornly believe only what they've been told to believe," Raqueal said. "As for love... it's more complex, I suppose. I haven't really ever felt any strong emotion for anything besides nature, which is always constant. I also feel a desire to be nearer to you. Overall, I am not sure, since I have never met another elf, I do not know much beyond my instincts. I would venture a guess to say ours is probably deeper and based more around the mind than the body. I am sorry to say I don't know more." He felt far more open with her than any other being he met. iamkatara Rachel nodded. "Thanks for the compliment." She moved nearer to him and smiled. "I guess I kinda feel the same way. Being so open with someone and being able to truly talk to them makes everything so much easier. It's like, feeling something that you never knew you could feel inside yourself. You're whole outlook on love and life changes." She waited. "Now that I realize I am an elf, I feel so in touch with everything, and every disturbance or misjudgeing can be felt. Even every change in happiness can be realized." She giggled. "Like how my stomach flops over everytime you say hi to me." She clasped her mouth, realizing what she said. "Sorry about that." She moved back to her spot near the tree. manysidestome "It's ok, we're the first elves we've ever met," Raqueal said. "It's quite understandable to feel unusual when we talk. I right now feel quite aware that with every passing word, I could offend you very much and you would hate me. I fear that happening and wish to stop it, but I don't think I can stop talking once I start." He sighed and looked at her. "There's so much I don't understand about us, our race, and the world, and I just can't help feeling someone knows it." He looked out over the lake before saying, "and I have some... ideas about who you are. Even compared to me, you are unique as an elf. Your eyes glow and your skin is golden. I think, you might stem from nobility, possibly royalty, among our kind." iamkatara Rachel raised her eyebrows. "Are you serious? I could never think of myself as royalty. No one ever liked me, and i've always been so weird compared to others." She looked up and whispered to herself. "Nobility?" She looked back at him. "We shouldn't talk about that though. It's too weird." She smiled. "Thank you for being so kind to me. For... accepting me. No one has ever accepted me before, and when I thought they didn, I realized that they hated me behind my back." She looked into his eyes, "So thank you... very much." manysidestome "You're welcome. Humans have a tendency to be very cruel to anything that threatens their perception of the ordinary, yet they always want to progress to newer things. It's whatever their majority want I suppose, and anything else is shunned," Raqueal said. "And I suppose that's one of my faults, I'm over critical of them. I spot so many flaws in them and I point them out, without looking at the good they do." iamkatara Rachel smiled. "Flaws make us what we are." She silently laughed. "Being human for a while made me realize how good they can be," she thought of the Haters, "and how horrible they can be to others." She shrugged. "I guess it's just how you look at it." She took out her book again. "Have you ever read Phantom of the Opera? His story is so never-ending. A disfigured man that was shunned from birth, and Mme. Giry hid him away in the opera house so as to be safe." SHE was getting into the story. "He then finds Christine Daà e. SHe sings magnificintly and he falls in love with her. Suddenly her childhood sweetheart comes back and she falls in love with him. The whole story is about Christine's choice between the two. It's amazing." manysidestome "It sounds too dramatic. I don't really like it when it's dramatic, it's like their lives are a continuous pool of misery and woe, which they don't really try to make better or they are plagued by unrealistic problems their whole life. Their problems are usually a result of their society anyway, which is way too harsh for it's own good," Raqueal said. "Honestly, if humans would just accept each other and nature, their lives would become much easier." Georgie "I've killed fathers, mothers, daughters, sons... I... I killed my best friend Dorjee, when I was six... Six years old, and I had already killed more people then you can think... I wasn't me, of course, but the guilt and the shame stays with me... And I hate it." Tobi said, her voice stronger now - as confusion and fury pulsed. Her emotions would scramble now, like an egg in a frypan. The days were decreasing as her monthly problem grew closer. Plaguewalker "I've tore a man in half, then killed his wife with the insides." Dorjee said plainly, his eyes focusing on Tobi. "I almost crushed my father's skull in with my foot. I'm in the exact same boat as you, Tobi." The Unwanted flicked his eyes up to the sky. "You shouldn't let something like this bother you. It'll tear you apart if you worry so much." iamkatara Rachel smiled. "I guess you're right." She jumped down. "Wanna get down and take a walk with me? I swear I don't bite, and it's daylight so it's not like anything will happen to us." She laughed. "Please?" manysidestome "Sure," Raqueal said. "You don't have to fight so hard either." He jumped down and landed next to her. "By the way, I just want you to know, I don't hate humans, I just kind of hold them in disdain. I just try to keep away from them, since I highly doubt that even if I was accepted in a human society, I would be able to live in one while maintaining my own customs, not to mention maintaining my own lifestyle." iamkatara Rachel nodded. "That's fine by me. It's not like they like our kind. We're" she changed to elven and spoke it from hereon in," different. I'm happy that we have a place to go away from besides being at this school. I always felt tied to the forest, and now that I know I'm an elf, I realize why." She trudged along the bath, watching the leaves sway in the slight breeze. It was pure tranquility in the forest. manysidestome "Oh," was all Raqueal said. "I didn't realize you had been able to cope so well with the though of being an elf and leaving behind the ideas of being human. I didn't want to risk offending you by insulting all that you once knew, but I guess that isn't a problem." TokoToTheEnd (Hey, wha has been happening?!) manysidestome OOC: I think mainly that Raqueal&Rachel/Dorjee&Tobi are getting closer. Fuegar is just sleeping in his room, and I think everyone else is in class. | |

| iamkatara Rachel smiled. "I was fine being a human, but being an elf jsut makes sense. Being so different, being happy and in tune with nature... It's just right." She giggled and turned to Raqueal. "It's no problem inf you make fun of humans. Sometimes, they deserve it."
manysidestome "I just kept it inside so long, it's kind of nice to just let out my frustruation with them. What I've studied shows that elves never have really like humans all that much, they view them as kind of lower being than themselves, and they might be. Still, they have their good spots, like the unwanted, they look out for each other, even if one did burn down part of the forest," Raqueal said. "So, has any of your magic developed yet?"
iamkatara Rachel shook her head. "Nope. But mabye you could help me. It's not like I'm the fastest person around, but I could surely catch on quickly." She smiled and held her hands up. "How to elves actually perform magic?"
TokoToTheEnd Faith stared off into space as her teacher went on and on. Her mind found it's way to thinking about the talent show, which was tonight(just to add more drama to the mix) and of course Fuegar. She wonder if he would ever like her. Faith sighed. Of course he wouldn't. She was a loser. Just some smart, inverted girl which a hopeless crush. Faith didn't stand a chance. ---------------- Alice, after deciding that classes aren't important, was sitting on the school's roof. The wind was warm and Alice closed her eyes. She wonder what would happen tonight. With the talent show, everyone is going to be pumped, which could either be a major disadvantage or a major advantage for either side. But it couldn't be one for both. Things were going to get bad tonight, Alice could feel it.
manysidestome "I don't really know how to explain it. It's apart of us, and it just makes itself known. It's caused by emotions I guess when it's developed enough, but you can learn to control it. It's not something you can learn until it happens. Something really weird or strange will happen, and you'll have no clue how you did it. Then it's a matter of practice," Raqueal said. "I was really mad at these construction workers that were clearing part of a forest, and I just released a big ball of fire at their machine. I didn't know I was an elf then though, so I thoroughly scared me, and I ran off. I kept doing it though when I got mad, so I eventually started trying to do it. I managed to make small flames, but nothing like when I was mad, but I practiced. It's still the only thing I can do though. Sorry, didn't mean to ramble." He hadn't noticed but he had been staring at the lake's center for awhile now.
iamkatara Rachel laughed. "It's fine." She sat down by the lakes edge and swayed her hand through the tranquil water. Then she remembered something. "Oh my god! The talent show's tonight!" She got up. "I need to practice!" She looked at Raqueal. "Would you like to come and listen?"
manysidestome "Talent show," Raqueal asked. He was about to ask about it, but he thought better of it. "Ok, I'll listen," he said, smiling. He felt silly rambling like that, he had just never been able to talk to anyone before.

| Here is pages 41-45.
iamkatara Rachel relaxed and sat down, clearing her throat to sing. After a few seconds she thought about the sing she was going to pick and she decided on "The Melody Within" from the movie Rigoletto. She started the lyrics, easing her way into the song. As the movement increased, she started to sing stronger, gaining confidence. After she was finished, she looked at Raqueal for critique. "What do you think?"
TokoToTheEnd (I have the perfect song for Faith. oh I can't wait!!! And I decided to make Alice dance. Oh I know that song!!)
Alice looked around and saw Rachel and Raqueal. For a moment she was going to talk to them, but she wanted to be alone.
'As leader of the Unwanted, Alice, it's your job to take care of the others. I trust you with this. Are you sure you're up to it? Can you really make life and death choices? Make sacrifices that no one else could make? Is this really what you want?
Alice remember that. The old Unwanted leader, Ty Lu, a mermaid, who was not only brave, but smart and beautiful. Alice looked up to her. When they learned that she was being transferred, Alice asked if she could take her place. When Ty Lu said this to her, she could only nodded her head in joy. Now Alice wasn't so sure it was the right choice.
manysidestome "You sing beautifully," Raqueal said. It might have had something to do with being an elf, but he knew he couldn't sing half as well, so figured she was just naturally talented. "I'm sure you'll win with a voice like yours."
iamkatara Rachel smiled. "Thank you." She got an idea. "You should sing too! Or do something for the talent show. You're so talented you have to be good at something." She held out her hand. "Come on. We have to get ready."
manysidestome "I don't wish to stand out," Raqueal said. "What are we getting ready for," he asked when she held out her hand. Regardless of the answer, he took it, not sure where she was headed with this.
iamkatara She smiled. "Either, you come and watch the show, or you come and perform the show. And either way you'll have to come back into the school. I don't need you catching a cold." She joked. Rachel went inside and raced to her room, pulling Raqueal along the way. Once she got into her room, she went into the bathroom adn changed into a knee length dress that was made out of green silk and crioline. She looked at Raqueal. "Ready?"
TokoToTheEnd Peace stood in a hallway. Another Hater talking to her. He looked frighten and shook his head at Peace. the girl groaned.
"Listen all I want you to do is tell our leader that tonight is the perfect night to make our final strike. Nothing more. Don't be such a wimp," she hissed at him.
"But, are you sure we should do it tonight?"
"Of course. With the talent show, the Unwanted and everyone else are easy prey. It's the perfect time. We can't miss it."
The boy Hater just slumped and nodded. Going off to tell their leader.
manysidestome "That's good, tonight is perfect," Marcus said, appearing out of the shadows across the hall from Peace, his eyes turned to their powered state. "I have a feeling that if we don't press the attack, the Unwanted will."
"Yes," Raqueal said. "You look beautiful, Rachel," he added. "I don't have any talents that I could feel comfortable showing, but I will watch you."
TokoToTheEnd Peace turned to Marcus. She smirked and nodded, her eyes flashing.
"And we also know who some of the Unwanted are. Using all this, everything could turn out fine, only..." Peace trailed off. Thoughts of her sister ran through her mind. She was close to them. Peace couldn't affrod to lose her sister, but....Peace shook her head confused.

| manysidestome "Yes, and as an added bonus, I've managed to convince the ex-unwanted Rachel from turning her back on us like she planned. She has promised to help us, in return for not killing her," Marcus said. "Though, you know how persuasive I can be."
TokoToTheEnd Peace laughed, but her mind was still preoccupied with Faith.
"What about my twin? I fear she is too close to the Unwanted. I wouldn't want her to get hurt in the cross fire."
manysidestome "She should know better than to get tangled with those scum," Marcus said. "But if you're that worried about her, keep her out of harms way then. Lock her up somewhere before it all starts. She couldn't possibly get hurt if she's nowhere near the battle."
TokoToTheEnd Peace looked at Marcus and shook her head.
"I can't. She's my sister. My blood kin. I'll feel bad about locking her up, even for her own safety." Peace looked away. "But when it begins I'll take her away. Kind of sad though. Tonight could very well be the last night I see her."
manysidestome "Whatever you wish," Marcus said. "I just hope you can face the consequences of your actions, whatever they might be." He walked away into the shadows, his eyes returning to normal.
TokoToTheEnd Peace also turned away and began to walk to her class, not really paying attention to her teacher yelling at her.
'Please Faith be ok.'
iamkatara Rachel smiled. "Thank you Raqueal. It means a lot that your coming." She walked into the auditiorium which had been transformed into a talent show arena. "Wow. Look at this place." She smiled. "Who knew the faculty really cared about us."
manysidestome "At least they might care for something," Raqueal said. "So why are we here so early? By the looks of it, it's not going to be happening for awhile now."
Georgie Tobi's eyes remained on the grass she was pulling, now more violently then before. "It's different Dorjee, we're different. Though I am not fully concious of my actions when I have transformed, I've been told that people can tell it's me within the claws and fur. And the thoughts of killing people, and then their families' grief over what I've done... Torn families apart literally..." Tobi stopped her upset rambling and rubbed her eyes, before looking to the sky as well and keeping the silence between them for a moment.
"... Sometimes I think it'd be better for everyone if I just... Disappeared." Tobi whispered, not really minding if Dorjee heard or not. It was a thought that occurred in her mind many times in her life.
Plaguewalker Dorjee gave her a sad look. "Tobi...Don't say things like that. It's better for everyone that you are here." He placed a hand on her shoulder, trying his best to console her. He'd have never thought that she was a were-wolf. She was a monster, just like him. Both hated by mankind, and yet they were still world's apart. She could live, talk, hold, kiss, do everything normal that Dorjee wished he could do in life. To feel another being's hand in his own, without the layer of dammed cloth between them. He was more a monster than she would ever be. "I'm the one who should disappear..." He muttered, rising from where he sat and began walking away.
manysidestome Fuegar had enough sleep by now and got outside to wake up some. He was thinking about tonight, what horrors would it have for everyone. Personally, he just thought about going demon on the haters and ripping them to shreds, and hoping no one else got caught in the crossfire. He wasn't sure what Thomas would do, but figured that he would want a plan.
Suddenly, his eyes widened and he sensed powerful anger again. "No, stay in control! You're the master of your emotions, not a slave to them," he told himself, keeping his anger within himself, trying to blot it out. "Only a demon can cause this kind of anger in another demon," he muttered, looking around. He saw Dorjee in the distance and understood. "You're in control Fuegar. You're not the typical demon, you don't have to fall into their customs and instincts. You can stay in control around other demons, it's mind over matter!" He pushed his anger back into his mind, and resumed his normal features. "I am not your typical demon. I am above them all," he told the air.
TokoToTheEnd Alice sighed and sat on the edge. If she fell, Alice would think of something. It didn't really matter though if she used her wings. Sooner or later, Alice knew she'll have to reveal herself.
iamkatara Rachel smiled. "I just wanted to get a feel for the place first. It's not like anyone will think of coming here before the contest, so I thought it would be a nice place to be alone. I've come here before." She climbed up on the stage and onto the ladder. "Don't you dare stand under me," she joked. She climbed up onto the traveler and sat with her feet hanging off, looking down at the stage. "If I could be here all day, I'd be happy."
manysidestome Raqueal smiled and looked around. All this place had been for him was just a kind of prison. He felt no affinity for anything but the forest and lake outside here. Well, them and Rachel, but she could leave with him, not like the poor forest. "How's the view up there," he asked.
iamkatara Rachel smiled. "Fine. Hows the view from down there." SHe thought for a second. "Wait! I want to try something." She focused her power and finally trusting herself, she jumped down to the stage. "Wow. I didn't think I could actually do that." She jumped down back into the pit. "I have a feeling you'd like to go outside. I'd like to come if that'd be fine with you."
manysidestome "Uh... sure, that's fine," Raqueal said. How'd she know my preference? I didn't leave anything on my face to suggest I was displeased in here. Is her power to read minds, or did she just guess?, he thought worriedly. He did not like being able to be read like that, he liked an air of mystery and excitement.
iamkatara She smiled as she walked beside him. When they got outside, she turned to him. "You're really nice once you talk to people. Most would think of you as cold and introverted, but you're really nice and caring." She paused. "Thank you for being my friend." She walked to the lake and put ehr hand in, gliding it through the still water, listening to the faint brush of the wind.
manysidestome "I put that on," Raqueal said. "I really don't want to associate with humans. I've done it all my life, and I've just been waiting to meet an elf I could be myself with. Now that I've met you, I've been able to do that. I just... wanted someone that I could relate with." He smiled kind of sadly.
iamkatara She looked at him. "Raqueal... Not all humans are that bad. Trust me, I was one. People can be true, but you have to make friends with the right ones. It was by chance that you met me, and it was by chance that I was an elf. Nothing more." She got closer. "Although, I'm happy it did." She smiled at him, hoping to change the subject, although unsure if he would want to. "It's nice out today, although I feel something different in the air."
manysidestome "It doesn't matter to me what they're like. I could live with humans and make friends with them, but I would still desire an elf's company. I've had human friends, but they've all left my life, I don't desire the rapid change a human life has. It wasn't chance that we met, I believe we were always meant to meet, and it was no chance you were an elf. There is alot about our kind I don't know, but I do know the magic in our bodies guides us more than we realize," Raqueal said. "I don't expect you to realize this though, even if you were so closely intuned with our kind, it's only because I've had more time to explore myself in solitude that I can feel this with certainty. And, you have been content among who you thought were your own kind, always being surrounded by others. If you don't know that kind of isolation, you wouldn't understand where I'm coming from." He felt his eyes start to water, and turned and looked at the ground. He brought back some very painful memories of his earlier years, and did not want to relive them.
iamkatara Rachel ran over to him. "Raqueal please... I'm so sorry. I didn't know. I was so oblivious to everything else around me. If I'd have realized sooner that I was an elf, I wouldn't ahve said the things I did. Please. Don't turn away." She hugged him and turned him around, wiping the tears from his eyes. "I swear on my life... I wil never, EVER, leave you." She kissed him on the cheek. "I promise." She smiled at him softly.
manysidestome "I'm sorry, it wasn't you. There's just some parts of my life that I'd rather not relive," Raqueal said. "I'm glad you say that, but it may be fated that we part someday. I don't want that at all, but I won't hold you to a promise you couldn't possibly keep." He smiled back, not sure if he was making things better. "Sorry, my mind's just kind of scrambled right now."
iamkatara Rachel shook her head. "It's fine. It's better that you let this out, especially to someone who understands you and you can trust it with." She smiled, trying to make the situation better. "Get up." She laughed. "I was wondering, can you dance?" She had to make things better. She had to. He was so nice. He didn't deserve to be so unhappy.

| manysidestome "Well... I don't know any dances," Raqueal said. "I would need some kind of training to be able to really dance." He didn't consider the way humans danced now actual dancing.
iamkatara She smiled. "Come on." She picked him up, not letting go. "I'll help you." She put her hand on his shoulder, moving along to the breeze hitting the trees, almost as a natural metranome. They wouldn't dance fast, jsut a slow and natural dance, like she'd seen in the movies, considering no boy had really danced with her. "Listen to the breeze, the waves, and the animals. They can almost produce a beat that you can dance to." She smiled, looking into his eyes. "It's not as hard as you thought, huh?"
manysidestome Raqueal smiled, looking into her eyes. "No, not at all," he replied, moving along with her. He couldn't fight the snaking suspicion she was more than just an elf. There was something special about her, even more than her physical appearance. She didn't wish to think about it though, so he remained quiet about it.
iamkatara After a long silence, and just dancing, Rachel spoke again. "I was wondering about what you said before. About my blood. It's kind of a soft subject, but I just wanted to hear your thoughts. After that, we can just forget about it." She waited silently for his response.
manysidestome "I know you don't like the subject, so I won't say anything on it," Raqueal said. "Besides, I've never met another elf before, you might be typical among our race, or just a little unique. There's no garuntee that my previous statements have any credibility."
iamkatara Rachel nodded. "That's fine with me." She finally let go, wondering if he wanted to stop dancing or not, considering they had been dancing for a while now. "I'm sorry, if you didn't want to stop, i'll keep going. I just didn't know if you liked to dance or not. So I stopped. But if you want to keep going just ask. I'd be happy to considering how much I like you. And-" She blushed. "Sorry. I talk to much when I'm nervous."
manysidestome "I'm fine with whatever you want to do," Raqueal said. "And it's ok, I like you alot too." He sighed, and said, "when I leave this school, I really would like to find a society of elves. I bet it would be beautiful, and it would be very different from and human city."
iamkatara Rachel thought about it. "It probably would be beautiful. Something you would imagine only in your dreams, but when you see it, it's for real." She smiled at the thought. "If you do find one, find me. I have nowhere else to go after this school. I'd like to see the society if there is one." She stepped back. "Would you like to stay outside, or go inside? I'm fine with anything." She smiled, looking into his eyes.
Georgie Tobi watched him walk for a moment before she jumped up and ran across to him. "Dorjee... If you left, I'd have no-one to talk to, no-one that understands how it is to be hated by all, to be hunted and... And how hard it is to live two lives, to live a lie..." Tobi took his hand in hers and squeezed it gently, hoping he'd feel the affection through the layers of cloth. She looked at him - her emerald eyes glossy with tears - and she smiled.
"You better stay with me here Dorjee, or when I transform, you're the first one I am coming after!" She giggled jokingly, still holding his hand. And then, the image of Jason's gorgeous face flashed across her mind and she felt her grip loosen around Dorjee's hand. Oh why do I love that guy so damned much?
manysidestome The anger in Fuegar's mind grew, but he suppressed it well. He was above lowering himself to a common demon's instincts. He stood a few feet from Tobi and Dorjee, and took a breath. "Tobi, I... apologize for what happened last night. I really meant to return the... item... to you, but I lowered myself to my baser instincts and lost control. I hope I did not cause you alot of distress," he said and without waiting for a reply, started walking away toward the cafeteria, his head getting better with each step away from Dorjee. He could never be near that guy without suffering tremendous pain, even if it was supressed.
Georgie Tobi had frozen as Fuegar had appeared before her and apologised before he turned and walked off quickly. Tobi soon regained her composure and found a scowl to be lurking upon her lips. She was furious at Fuegar, what had come over him? He could have spared all of the fighting and disturbance which had gotten them noticed by the Haters if he had just given her the diary. No, he was not getting off that easily.
"Um, Dorjee... I just realised, I left something in my room. I'll catch up with you later." Tobi said, flashing another smile as she walked calmly the same path as Fuegar was taking, before she burst into sprint, her eyes fixed upon his back.
manysidestome Fuegar got far enough that the anger dissapaited and sighed, and was fully aware Tobi was following him. He didn't understand what she wanted, maybe an explanation, he didn't think anything good. No one wanted a demon for anything good... at least a real fullfledged one. Dorjee was lucky, he wasn't always a demon, but Fuegar always was one, and come lose himself at any time.
Georgie Tobi reached him, swallowing the pant that lingered on her tongue and she grabbed his shoulder and whirled him around, staring at his face with steely eyes.
"Why... Why did you just not give me the diary F-Fuegar? What was your problem?!" Tobi said hotly, her voice a little breathless as she stood close to the demon-boy, her face inches from his as her raw emotions pulsed through her viens.
"Why did you then fight with Dorjee which then led to the Haters finding us, putting us all at risk?!" Tobi's voice rose a few notches as she stared at him.
manysidestome Fuegar smiled, ignorance wasn't bliss after all. "Simply, I couldn't. If you aren't aware yet, I'm a demon, and Dorjee has a demon within him. Demons cause anger within each other, and they start to fight based purely on instinct. He might not have been totally affected because he's not all demon, but I was. I couldn't suppress my anger and I fell into my instincts. I tried to give you back your diary before he came. I thought maybe you would have seen my pain or heeded my warnings before I lost control, but it looks like you were oblivious to it." He looked passively at her and said, "believe me, I didn't want to cause trouble, just prevent it. That's why I took the diary from Faith, and hid it until I could find you. I regret the trouble I caused, but I didn't think you'd ignore everything but it."
Plaguewalker Dorjee watched her go, his eyes following her till she vanished from sight. He glanced down at his hand, which was quite warm from they're brief contact. He sighed, his mind a little shakey for some reason. It was fine before Fuegar showed up. Dismissing, Dorjee set off towards the cafeteria.
Georgie Tobi hissed angrily - "Don't brush it off as if it was nothing! Fuegar, I know what you and Dorjee are and until last night and just now, I had no idea that demons' reacted to one another like that! Stop making out as if I am the one in the wrong here... A-as if I am stupid!" Tobi growled - her pride slightly bruised.
"And... that diary has everything about who and what I am within... And for you to suddenly explode and disappear with it made me suspicious... These are dangerous times Fuegar. There are Haters and Hunters and God only knows what else after people like us! That is why the diary is important to me!" Tobi felt like slapping him as he smiled at her. And that diary contains the few shreds of family and love you have left...
"And you smile as if this is funny! Fuegar, I know you have no emotions and I also know you wouldn't care even if you could. But as a fellow Unwanted, I'd have thought you'd have understood me better... Understood why I acted the way I did... " Tobi said, her voice softening again as she stepped back and looked to the ground.
manysidestome "I have emotions, in that your mistaken," Fuegar said. "They're way too reactive for a demon to control." He rolled his eyes at her. "You should have realized though that a fellow unwanted trying to return a diary to you would do so unless something was keeping them from it. I realize there are haters and bad people out there, and I intend to do something about them before I leave. Tonight is the night the haters disperse for good, and tommorrow is the last time you'll see me. You can rejoice in that if you wish, I know that after what's happened, you'll probably never feel anything but anger toward me. That's why I'm leaving, I'll spare you all the risk of living with a total demon, and my parting gift will be getting rid of the haters." He looked toward the sky, and added, "I apologized once before, but I'll do so once more. I apologize for causing you distress like that, it was never my intention."
TokoToTheEnd Faith stared out the window. Class was insanely boring. She didn't know why though. She always loved school, but now it was boring. Faith sighed. She was turning into her sister.
iamkatara Rachel looked around. "I think we should get inside. It's getting later and we don't need to get in trouble now." She smiled.
Fire Lord Jason made his way down the hall. He had just gotten back from the infirmary where had dropped Michael off. His performance was spectacular, there was no one that saw it that wasn't convinced of his loyalties.
He chuckled to himself.
He was Scarecrow, the leader of the Haters. And yet, everyone knew him as Jason, the kind, devoted helper of the Unwanted. Even Thomas believed him now too! He could do as he pleased and never be put under suspicion. Only Feugar remained, and everyone trusted him less than they did himself.
Afterall, he attacked Dorjee and the others, stole Tobi's diary, and put the Unwanted at risk. No, Jason had won the small battle between himself, Thomas and Feugar. They had nothing, and he held everything.

| Casey Jewels For once in his life, Thomas had trouble with his biology. Try as he might, he just couldn't seem to grasp the concepts of today's lesson. Neither could he, once the time for bisecting came, focus on finding the organs and such that he was supposed to be locating. But, for once, neither did he find himself tempted to go hunting. No, his mind was too busy focusing on other things, such as Jason.
Was this guy on their side? Or was he a Hater? Was he to be trusted? Or was he a liar and a pretender? Was he a defender of the weak? Or was he cruel enough to injure and kill others? Who was Jason?
Thomas stared down at the creature before him without really seeing it. Instead he saw both Jason and Fuegar. The two were so different from each other, as were the things that they had said. But they both had swayed him with their words, and he wasn't one that was swayed easily. But Jason... He had been so sincere... And Fuegar... His words had made Jason's actions so clear at the time... Who was to be believed? Who was right?
Georgie Tobi had frozen again. He was... Leaving? She suddenly felt that sickening twist in her stomach - guilt.
"Fuegar... I... I'm sorry." Tobi said after a few moments of silence, rubbing her forearm awkwardly, not looking at him anymore. "I overacted to you, and I should have trusted you. So, I am sorry. But... But I don't think you should leave." Tobi said, her voice soft as she looked at him again.
manysidestome "No one sees it," Fuegar said. "I don't know why you're all so attatched to me. You, Alice, and Thomas, you all want me to stay. I don't know why, I cause more trouble than I do anything else. Last night was a perfect example, I almost got us all killed, and I myself nearly died. I don't understand my own actions, but I know I can't risk causing that kind of trouble again. So like I said, even if I'm alone, I'll drive the haters out, and then I'll leave behind them." He turned and looked away from her, and added, "besides, I do know deep down, that this place would be a lot happier without me here." He hesistated before adding, "I also know how much you admire Jason. You probably won't believe anything anyone says against him, especially me. I don't trust him though, my eyes aren't veiled by emotions he invokes in everyone else. Right now, I'd guess he feels pretty safe, with Thomas questioning himself and me the most uncredible source against him. I don't think he'll suspect a lone threat, but he's also blinded by emotion." He turned and looked at her and added, "I don't know why I'm telling you all this. I guess I wanted someone to know, but I know you won't like it."
Georgie Tobi smiled at Fuegar.
"this place would be a lot happier without me here... You have no idea how many times I have thought that in my life, had it said to me. Fuegar, we care about you because we can understand what you are going through. I can relate to you especially as we are both something that people fear and hate... But if you left, and the Haters returned, which they may and probably will try, I'd feel as if I had lost a brother or something. I know we don't know each other well but-" Tobi's smiled suddenly dropped from her face as he spoke of Jason.
"Why does everyone suspect him? He has done nothing to us directly, has he? Except help and give us information about the Haters!" She felt another stab of annoyance splinter through her, but she ignored it. She would not give into over-emotional thoughts and leave rational thoughts behind.
But this was the third time she had heard words against Jason. Was there truly something up with him? Was she blind? Or were they simply paranoid?
manysidestome "No one else does though," Fuegar said. "Why is he so intent on helping the Unwanted when he has nothing to gain from it? Why wouldn't he be a secret member, like most of us? It wouldn't be hard for him. I don't believe he helps us, I believe he feeds us little information or false information and then betrays our information to his organization." He looked back at her and said, "I can't expect you to understand though. You're bonded to him by your appreciation and admiration, you don't want to see fault in someone you've thought was good. I am not so blinded, I can see every angle, and I know the odds. It's not likely he is bad, but I'm convinced he has an alterior motive."
Fire Lord "Perhaps I'm just kind at heart," said Jason, walking up behind Feugar and Tobi.
He was glaring at Feugar, his fists clenched.
"I've never led you astray with my information, and I have other people to protect Feugar, not just the Unwanted! I don't have time to join your organization! It doesn't matter now. I've decided to end my relations with you Unwanted, I'm not helping you anymore. You can relay that to Alice. Do you know why, Feugar?"
Jason's teeth grinded together, barely keeping his anger in check.
"Michael was like a little brother to me! And he got mixed up with your group! Now he's in the infirmary! I'm not going to continue to help a group that cares so little about its members that it can't bother to keep them safe. I've given you information, taken wounds, put myself in danger and for what?! So someone I care about in the Unwanted can be tossed to the Haters simply because you can't be bothered to keep tabs on him?! There are others like Michael that rely on me for protection, Feugar, becuase they're unable to protect themselves. I hold their safety above helping the Unwanted. And if that makes me untrustworthy to you..."
He turned his back on the two.
"I'm done. I quit. I have other people to protect. And Feugar, if the Unwanted or the Haters put those people at risk, I'll do whatever is neccessary to keep them safe."
He left the two, never once looking back at them.
manysidestome "That's another reason, Jason, why I don't trust you," Fuegar said. "You're apparently the angel here, a good student, protects kids, and you're nice to everyone. This school is for the bad kids in society, and you just don't fit the bill, everyone else does." He never once batted an eye or felt regret, he stared after Jason. "And why would such a kind soul be so angry at one person's mistrust if the rest believe him? Especially after confusing Thomas so badly, why would he stop helping the unwanted just because I don't trust him? I suppose he really wants that recognition."

| Fire Lord "You're right Fuegar," said Jason, stopping briefly in his tracks.
"I was mad when I spoke to Thomas. I said some things I did regret. I was going to apologize and keep helping the Unwanted untill I saw what happened to Michael."
He turned his head slightly to look back at Fuegar.
"I never said I was an angel Fuegar. I did the wrong things for the right reasons, that's why I'm in here. For instance, if you, the other Unwanted, or the Haters lay another hand on one of the people I protect."
Jason's eyes grew wide.
"I will kill you."
He turned and pushing open a door that led down a hallway, and dissapeared.
manysidestome "He forgets that it wasn't the Unwanted who hurt the kid," Fuegar said. "It's rather unfortunate he showed up now, I believe I might have at least made you pause and think Tobi. After his false words though I suppose it just reimposed your faith in him and reasserted your hatred of me. It's really a shame, I only wanted to keep you all from getting hurt, but if he manages to keep you under his spell, he'll be able to help pick you off one by one." He sighed, though it was fake, he really felt nothing. "I hope you stay out of trouble Tobi, you've seen enough of it." He walked right into the hall Jason had walked into. He was going to confront him without a witness, and finally get him to spill his information out.
TokoToTheEnd Alice slid into biology, hoping not to be noticed, but just her luck, the teacher caught her.
"You'll have to sit next to Thomas, Alice. But I advise you next time not to be late."
Alice muttered something under her breath as she took her seat. She gave Thomas a quick look, to see if he cared, but couldn't just but stare at him. Alice knew that Thomas was a vaulable player in the Unwanted/Hater war. Alice knew it'll be the perfect time to tell someone of her plans. ------------------- Peace walked around. She had skipped class, as she was too busy thinking about what might happen tonight. She spotted a guy a little away and frowned. Then Peace smiled and kept walking. She wonder if he would spot her.
Plaguewalker Dorjee walked silently, his eyes drifting about his sourooundings in boredom. His eyes spotted someone walking in the distance, but he wasn't sure who it was. Oh well. Dorjee wasn't in a talking mood right now. Tobi and his talk had given him some things to think about.
TokoToTheEnd Peace got closer and then came to realize something. This boy seemed to be one of the Unwanted she had heard being vaugely describe and he did seem fimilar from before. Peace wasn't sure though, but it would be worth it to find out. Maybe Peace could take out one before tonight, but then Peace shook her head no. 'I don't have powers. I know tonight I will have a weapon, but for right now I can't fight.'
Casey Jewels Thomas glanced up at Alice, but then looked right back down at the creature he was disecting. "You shouldn't be seen around me," he said softly and wiggled his wings to prove it. "Everybody now know what I am. And if you keep hanging out with me..." He fell silent, figuring that Alice was smart enough to figure out what he meant. He was now the next Hater victim, he was sure of it. And if Alice continued to hang around him, she might become a victim as well.
TokoToTheEnd "Well I would if this wasn't the only seat left," Alice said dryly, looking away. She could understand Thomas's grief, she still didn't need to be protected. "Besides I have something planned and I need to tell someone."
Casey Jewels He let out a sigh and looked back up at her. "Sorry, I just... am a little stressed right now." His eyes flickered over the creature and he started pretending to work on that once more. "So..., what have you come up with?"
TokoToTheEnd "Well you see tonight is the talent show. And because of that most people will be stressed out or hyped up. Don't you think it would be the perfect time to strike, when there are a group of people around? So they could see the "good guys" destroying the "bad guys"?" Alice looked at the table. "What I'm saying is that I can feel something is going to happen. So I need you and the others to come to the talent show. You don't have to perform, but I need you there, ready to fight."
Casey Jewels Thomas let out the breath that he had been holding. "Wow... You really think that now's the time for something like this? It's awfully..." Jason flashed before his eyes and he let out a groan. If Jason finds out about this... That is, if he truly is against us... "I would love to help," he said after almost a minute of silence. "But I have a prior engagment. I'm sorry."
TokoToTheEnd Alice raised her eyebrows at Thomas.
"Really? And what, may I ask, is more important than what could be the fight of our lives?"
Casey Jewels "Uh..." He nervously fiddled with his hands. "It... kind of has to do with the fight..." He continued to stare down at the dead creature. "I think I know someone higher up in the Haters. I plan on finding out for sure tonight." He slowly lifted his gaze. "I think that the answer to this question will play a very important role in tonight's fight."
TokoToTheEnd Alice felt a little ashamed she got mad and turned her head away.
"Oh, I'm sorry Thomas. I didn't know."
Georgie Tobi glared at Fuegar as she felt that sickening breathlessness overpower her throat, like a pair of metal hands clasped around her windpipe. What had Jason just said? What did their words just mean? "Fuegar! Jason was trying to help, he was helping! I know you are too, but..." Tobi couldn't finish her sentence as he was already walking quickly away from her.
Tobi sighed, rolled her eyes and contemplated leaving them both. But something in her forced her into the door, seeing the two boys and slipping behind the lockers that lined the walls, trying to listen carefully.
Was Fuegar right? Had he made her doubt Jason's kindness?

| Fire Lord Jason stopped, not bothering to turn his head to look at Fuegar.
"Fuegar, I thought I just told you to leave me alone."
He turned his head just enough to see him out of the corner of his eye.
"Or are you hard of earing? What do you want? Come to apologize? That seems unlikely."
manysidestome "No, I've come to level with you. If you want to keep up that innocent act, it's fine with me. We both know that you're not who you seem. It's no use trying to decieve me, because I'm not like the others. I am going to say two things to you now. One, the haters will die soon, and they will not return. Two, if you or any of your friends hurt another of my comrades," Fuegar said, his voice never changing and the same face all throughout his words, "I will kill you."
Fire Lord "My, my," taunted Jason, turning to fully face Feugar.
"That is an original statement, Feugar. You know, I could have sworn I've heard it before," he said, mocking Feugar's similiar threat.
"And are you sure that you know? If anyone but you looks at this situation, you're simply a paranoid individual who finds enjoyment placing blame and harrasing innocent students."
Jason lifted an eyebrow.
"You'll kill me if the Haters hurt your friends? And if the Haters continue to hurt them after I'm gone, what will you do then?"
Jason folded his hands behind his back and walked up to Feugar to talk to him directly.
"Let's face it, Feugar. Your whole attack towards the Haters is focused on me. If you kill me, nothing will change. Your friends will still be attacked by the Haters, and you'll have no one to obsess over."
manysidestome "Yes, that is true, if you're gone I don't know who to focus on. Unless of course, I draw their attention to me. Could any hater resist attacking an unwanted who exposed himself and insulted them? Even under orders not to, some weaker ones surely will, and I will then have some new leads. Making you gone only means I've cut off one head, but one that was especially sneaky. No matter what, your death is a benefit to me," Fuegar said, grinning as he said it. It normally put humans off to fake out emotions, it might make Jason feel more aprehensive about the situation.
Fire Lord "You talk like you're important, Fuegar," said Jason, returning the grin.
"What's stopping the Haters from doing the exact same thing? If you openly mock them and lure them into a trap. What's stopping them from mutilating an Unwanted in plain view of normal students. Or better yet, they could start attacking normal students in response. If you provoke a beast, Feugar, it will bite back."
Jason tilted his head.
"You would put not only your friends in danger, but everyone else. Could you live with yourself if one of them got hurt."
Jason shrugged.
"Either way, you can do what you want, as long as it doesn't involve me or the students that depend on me. If I'm gone, Feugar, there will be no one to protect them. Killing me may satisfy you, but it will bring devestation to many others."
Georgie Tobi bit her lip, fighting the urge to step out into the hallway and confront the both of them. Her heart was pounding in her throat it seemed, and her mind was thinking a thousand thoughts. Why did she like Jason so much? What was there about him that enticed her? He had never shown any affection other then kindness towards her and yet, she felt her heart flutter dangerously each time he passed?
And what of Fuegar? Was he telling the truth? Was he jealous? Paranoid? Or was he simply giving into the 'emotions' his Demon-self supplied?
"Killing me may satisfy you, but it will bring devestation to many others..." Tobi felt her heart thump painfully against her chest as this thought rang true within her.
iamkatara Rachel walked around, finally seeing Tobi. She seemed distressed. Rachel ran up to her and tapped her on the shoulder. "Tobi, are you all right?"
Casey Jewels "It's fine," Thomas said softly. A wave of pity washed over him as he looked up at Alice. It wasn't her fault that she didn't know his plans. After all, she wasn't a mind reader. "And I'm sorry. You couldn't have known." He gently placed a finger under her chin and turned her head back around so that they were eye-to-eye. "If you see me at all tonight, please don't talk to me or bring any attention to me. Just pretend as if I'm not there." He let his hand drop back to his suddenly, uncomfortably aware of how soft her skin was to the touch. He cleared his throat and started working on the assignment once more. "We need to get to work," he mumbled.
TokoToTheEnd Alice blushed, slightly. She found her mind reeling.
"I'll try, but I can't make promises. Things could get confusing. But I won't do it on purpose. I care too much about you to risk it."
Alice frowned at the words she had just said.
"I mean...um..."
She felt her cheeks getting hot.
Casey Jewels "It's fine," Thomas said. But it wasn't. She cared about him. She cared about him too much. The bell rang right then and Thomas automatically began to put his things away. "Just... don't do anything stupid, okay?" he told Alice as he climbed to his feet, ready to leave. "Because I might be getting myself into a dangerous position. But I can take care of myself." And I don't want you getting hurt because of me...
manysidestome Fuegar smiled. "See, that's where you're false ways come in. If you were just a protector of kids, you wouldn't even be here talking to me. You'd have gotten fed up with me awhile ago, and gone on without talking to me at all. You wouldn't go to all the trouble of trying to doubt myself and my plans. Oh don't worry though, because the Unwanted are a family, and we band together, because we are the ones who know how cruel society can be. We don't turn our backs on each other, like the rest of you have. If any of us come into public danger, the rest of us will be right there to assist them. That's why you don't attack us in the daytime, and why it's private. See, I'm just messing with a beast in a cage, and the most you can do about it is bite off someone who gets too close, or escape the cage. The Unwanted will rise when that happens though," he replied. "And you insist on that fake alias of a protector. With you gone they may get picked on more, but they will also rid themselves of a looming shadow, one that will get them killed if they're part of us. It's the lesser of two evils. I may not have emotions, I may not be fit to inhabit the same society humans do, but I am the only one at this point who still believes you are not as you appear, and it's in my power to stop you. The time for secrecy is over, Jason. It ends tonight."
Fire Lord "You mean the talent show," asked Jason.
"Sorry, I don't intend to go. And if you are a family, why did you attack your friends? Dorjee was an Unwanted, so are you. And yet you fought, exposed eachother and created turmoil."
Jason shrugged his shoulders.
"You say one thing, and then do another."
manysidestome "That goes way deeper than you could imagine Jason, and it's nothing your entitled to know. You don't know alot about me, and that's my cloak of secrecy, like yours is your helpful nature to the kids," Fuegar said. "As for the talent show, that will just be something that keeps the regular kids away from the fray. I'm surprised you aren't going, since I imagine alot of the kids you care so much about will undoubtedly be there. Well anyway, that's settled then, if you ever want to talk again, you can find me around. At least for the rest of the day. Come night it won't matter much will it?" He turned around and walked away but stopped. "By the way, after this, I expect either I will be attacked, or another will be attacked. It will be before the talent show most likely, and it will be revenge on my actions now. If no such thing happens, it either means that you choose not to act and give yourself away, or that you are innocent and for some reason see some benefit in arguing with me."

| Fire Lord Jason smiled, chuckling slightly.
"Watching you try to think is so adorable, Fuegar. Did you come up with this logic all on your own, or did you take a few days and get some help with it?"
Jason laughed, turning his back to Feugar as well.
"A monster should just stick to his strength and less to his brain. You might hurt yourself if you don't."
manysidestome "Hey, I'm an oddball. Any other of my kind would just run you through right now, end of story," Fuegar said. "You couldn't stand up to one. However, I'm not like them, and I use both brains and brawn in my life. I'm not the monster between the two of us Jason, you are."
Plaguewalker Dorjee stopped moving, turning his gaze to the girl in the distance. She seemed to be looking at him, which was unusual. Dorjee wasn't one who was picked out of a crowd most of the time, and when he was, it was because of his coverings. Yet he knew she wasn't wondering about the covers, she seemed to be inspecting him. The Unwanted looked towards her, before calling out. "What do you want?"
Fire Lord Jason smiled.
"What a charming statement. Your kind is such a pest. You're able to see beyond what others do not, see past illusion and what lies beneath. This true most in other people. You can see what lies within inside us. The question I ask you, Fuegar, is that will you be comforted by what you find."
Jason turned from Fuegar, his eyes never leaving his gaze until he was completely turned around.
"Tobi," he said aloud, not turning to face the hiding Unwanted.
"Be careful with who you associate with. Fuegar, and people who suffer from his same paranoia, can not be trusted."
He stepped out of the hallway and away from the Unwanted.
manysidestome "Ah, that is why he would not lower his veil," Fuegar said. He thought for a moment and then decided, "I can't let this go unannounced. I must tell Alice what has transpired. Tobi, be on guard. No matter what, whether he's innocent or not, something will happen tonight." He left and thought about what class she had now. Maybe it was Thomas's, or he might know where she was. He would go there and wait until the class was over to talk to him.
TokoToTheEnd Alice sat in the classroom for a little while longer, her mind racing with too many thoughts.
"I'll try. But as Leader, I can't say I could keep that promise too."
Casey Jewels "Then don't think of me as an Unwanted." Thomas had started towards the door, but then had paused as Alice had spoken. Now he turned back around to face her, a grim expression on his face. "If I'm not an Unwanted, then you have no reason to try and protect me, now do you?" Not unless you care too much.
TokoToTheEnd Alice stood, collecting her books.
"Well that's a hard question. I mean if I see an innocent person in danger I would protect them, even if they're a stranger, but if I know the person and I know they can take care of themselves, I won't." Alice walked out the door, but stopped for a second and looked at Thomas, smiling. "So you don't have to worry about me. Just take care of yourself." With that said Alice, returning to her grim state, walked off.
Casey Jewels Thomas stared after her for several seconds, and then shook his head. But I can't help but worry about her. I can't help but worry about everybody here. He stepped out of the classroom and started towards his next class. He stared at the ground as he walked, unable to ignore the stares and whispering of the others passing him.
manysidestome Fuegar walked casually along the halls, looking as the classes emptied, and soon caught sight of Alice. The leader, the head honcho, and the one person who needed to know most what had happened. He walked toward her and put a hand on her shoulder. "I need a word," he announced, quietly, but with no sense of anything in his voice. "Privately as well."
TokoToTheEnd Alice nodded and turned into an empty classroom. Of course she was going to miss math, but she never really cared for the subject.
"What is it?"
manysidestome Fuegar closed the door and looked straight at her. "The time has come for us to leave the shadows, the Unwanted must rise and challenge the haters. They can't ignore a call like that, and we can no longer hide. They'll keep picking us off, like the kid this morning. We have to call them out, and we can settle everything there," he said. "I also will add that I myself will do this regardless if anyone assists me or not. I confronted Jason about my suspicions about him, and, while he never admitted anything, he is a danger to our operation. If he is as virtuous as he appears, he will stand up for any young kids that get in the crossfire, and will kill everyone involved if he can. If I'm right, he will relate everything to the haters, and have a strategy for them, making everything more difficult." He waited for a response from Alice. She was very good at keeping her emotions hidden, but unlike him, he was positive she had them, and would probably feel anger at this, like Tobi had.
TokoToTheEnd Alice thought about what Fuegar said and looked in his eyes.
"You know I was thinking the same thing. I sick of hidding. Tonight. Tonight we will reveal ourselves. But be warned and tell the others if you cam, this may cause a fight. A fight that maybe one of us or more may not come out of alive."
Alice knew she would be the first to reveal herself. She was in the talent show, but that's what made it perfect. Tons of people will be there. Alice actually felt axnious.
"So you going to help?"
manysidestome "Of course," Fuegar said. He hesistated before adding, "I've revealed myself to Jason allready, and I am likely a major target for the haters, whether or not they actually attack me or not before the fight starts. You probably are convinced of his innocence like everyone else, even Thomas doubts now, but I am resolved in my opinion." He wanted her to believe him, though it was just for the benefit of everyone else. He was the only one who helped the Unwanted, why did no one see that as fishy?
TokoToTheEnd "Good because we'll need you. And if what I hear, our first target to take out tonight will be Jason. He's our biggest threat." Alice sighed. "Things were so much easier when Ty Lu was leader. I guess I failed her after all.
manysidestome "No time to think about that Alice. You will eclipse her if you can lead us to a world without the haters stalking our presence," Fuegar said. He just had to ask though, "why are you so... calm in the face of my accusations of Jason? No one else aside from Thomas ever considered that he could be a threat. I find it odd you don't exhibit any anger or irritation at this."
TokoToTheEnd "I never met him." It was something that bugged Alice too. I mean she had heard all these things, and yet the fairie had never actually met the boy face to face. "So all I can do is trust you and I trust both you and Thomas. Besides if he wasn't a threat, then we should of met. I don't know where he's hiding or if he knows that it will just lead to unwanted attention."
manysidestome "... Yesterday, at lunch, Jason pulled me over to your table, while he was still acting good, and tried to introduce me to you, Rachel, Tobi, and Dorjee. He acted like he at least knew who you were, and you should have seen his act in plain sight, and I admit, have been convinced," Fuegar said. It wasn't that he didn't want her to believe his word, but it just seemed odd.
TokoToTheEnd "Really? I guess I wasn't paying attention at that time. But I do remember it." Alice stood ready to leave. "Listen Fuegar, I know that people can easily put on masks. I wear one in fact. I do it so I can protect myself. Hid all my emotions away. But what is important is that we are going to be free from hiding. We will defeat the Haters. They will fall. " Alice walked out the door, still talking. "And we must take down who ever stands in the way."
manysidestome "Ty Lu chose an excellent leader," Fuegar said, smiling what passed for a genuine one from Fuegar. "You have an excellent attitude for the situation. I'll help spread the word, tonight it ends."
TokoToTheEnd Hearing that. made Alice happy. She had always felt like Ty Lu had made a mistake with her. But if Fuegar thought that she wasn't a failure, like Alice had always thought she was, then it must be true. It was rare for the boy to say such things.
Not paying attention, Alice walked into someone. She looked other and she became mad. Peace sat across from her.
"I'm sorry," Peace said, calmly. She had meant to knock Alice over. Standing, she grinned. "Need help?"
"By someone like you, no."
manysidestome Fuegar watched as she left and ran into Peace. That brought a lightbulb to his head, and he remembered Faith. She was fond of him, which was something he couldn't have. A demon couldn't love, it wasn't one of the emotions they had. He couldn't explain why he cared about these people here at all, it confused him, but he couldn't have Faith liking him. It was too dangerous for her, and possibly, for him. He would have to set her straight.

TokoToTheEnd Faith walked out of her classroom sighing. The only two things on her mind were the talent show and...Fuegar. She wonder if she should talk to him. Faith shook her head. No, that was impossible. 'He would never talk to me. I'm such an idiot!! No one could ever like me!!'
Faith stopped and leaned against a locker, tears in her eyes. "Idiot...." ------------------ Peace frowned. The girl was stubborn.
"Oh come now, I don't want to hurt you."
Alice stood and glared at the Hater. it was hard to believe sweet, naive Faith was related to her.
"Really? Why do I find that hard to believe?"
"I just came to say if you get my sister hurt, I will kill you. She means everything to me. So if she gets caught in the conflict, don't think I won't hurt those who did it to her."
Alice glared and walked passed Peace bumping her to the ground. "Hope your "friends" understand that too."
manysidestome Fuegar walked the halls until he spotted Faith, and sighed, knowing what he would have to do. He had to reveal himself to her, or she would not understand. He approached her and said in a casual voice, "hey, mind if we talk?"
TokoToTheEnd Faith stopped sniffling and looked at Fueger surprised. She had just thought he would never talk to her, but here he was. Faith's first thought was that she was dreaming and was tempted to slap herself, but Faith didn't. If it wasn't a dream she would look stupid and if it was, well then Faith could have a chance. If it was a dream.
"Sure," was all she managed to choke out.
manysidestome "Someplace private though," Fuegar said. He hoped she would think he wanted to get to know her or something, but he couldn't let anyone else see what he was. She was the only one because of her attatchment to him.
TokoToTheEnd Faith nodded. 'If this is a dream, then I hope I never wake.'
manysidestome "Follow me then," Fuegar said, leading her back toward the empty classroom he and Alice had just been in. He would have to bar it, he didn't need someone coming in and seeing him.
TokoToTheEnd Faith followed him, not seeing that her own twin was not too far off. Thankfully Peace had not seen Faith either, too busy thinking about what Alice had told her.
manysidestome Fuegar entered the classroom, and held the door open for Faith. He would have to grab a chair to keep the door closed, he'd seen it done before.
TokoToTheEnd Faith enter and sat on a desk, her heart racing. What was going to happen? What was he going to say?
manysidestome Fuegar closed the door and took a chair, and stuck it under the knob, so no one could turn it to get in. He turned around and breathed in. "Alice informed me that you seem to be attracted to me," he began. "There is something you have to know about me though, you must know the truth."
TokoToTheEnd Alice was taken a little aback. So he wasn't going to say he liked her. Still he didn't say he hate her.
"What is it?" Faith still felt her heart racing. "And sorry."
manysidestome "I... am a monster. A creature of nightmare," Fuegar said. "I'm not exaggerating either, I literally am a demon." He hoped she would just believe this, and that he wouldn't have to change. He most of all, hoped she wouldn't panic.
TokoToTheEnd Faith nodded slowly, taking it in. She couldn't yell. No, that would be bad.
"I believe you. After all i heard about the Unwanted and The Haters and everything, I just know you're not lying." Faith's throat felt dry. "But that won't change my feelings for you."
manysidestome "You have only heard, you haven't seen, and that's all it could take. You could still be attracted to this form, but be repulsed by one of my other sides," Fuegar said.
iamkatara Rachel looked around and smiled. She was happy that nothing was happening. It finally made her feel safe. She looked around for Raqueal. "Hey. Do you want to do anything? I can't really sit around for long unless i'm outside."
manysidestome "Do you want to go for a swim," Raqueal asked. It felt a bit empty since the fish all died, but it wasn't too bad. It was alot easier to swim without being hit by a fish when there were hardly any in there.
iamkatara Rachel nodded. "Mmm hmm." She walked out with Raqueal and then stripped down to a tank top and her shorts. She looked at Raqueal to jump in. "Do you want to go in first or shall I?" She smiled.
manysidestome Raqueal stipped down to some shorts. "I'll dive in, jumping disturbs the ecosystem... though I guess it doesn't matter since the ecosystem was pretty much killed off yesterday," he said. He dived in, causing little disturbance on the surface, and reappeared above the water.
iamkatara Rachel smiled and dived in as well, almost identical to Raqueal's dive. She esurfaced, slinging back her hair, and smiled at Raqueal. She dove back under, performing a mermaid swim. It was so much easier than swimming regularly. She resurfaced a few feet from Raqueal. "It's suprisingly warm in here."
manysidestome "Yes, it's probably because of the sun," Raqueal said. "It keeps the lake warm as long as it's spring or summer and high in the sky. Lucky, because with the fish gone, it could be alot colder." He went down and resurfaced about three yards from Rachel.
TokoToTheEnd "I don't care," Faith said, not sure if he would listen to her. Faith felt like she would be disgusted, but then again she wasn't sure. She was sure that Fuegar didn't care about her. "And you don't either. All you care about is yourself. Only you. No one else matters."
manysidestome "You put words in my mouth," Fuegar said. "But you're half correct. I don't really feel any attachtment to anyone here, and I could easily leave without causing myself any heartbreak." He then sighed and said, "but their's part of me that sticks around here to help. Everything I've done here was for the benefit for someone else, and I have no idea why. I don't know why I don't just shun everyone else be on my own, why I feel inclined to do things for others, but I do. You are blinded by what you think you see though, you see me as a monster, mostly in my personality. It's because you don't think I care about you."
TokoToTheEnd "But you don't care?" Faith was getting nervous. She didn't mean to sound so rude to him. She was just saying what she thought was true. It was confusing her.
manysidestome "Let me tell you what demons do in their own kind. They meet, they either fight to the death or mate, then the male dies or gets away before it's too late," Fuegar said. "Their is no capacity for caring in our emotions. I'm sorry, if I could care, I would. I would care about everyone at this school, every innocent. But I can't, and as it is, I don't know why I feel inclined to act like I care when in reality I can't."
TokoToTheEnd Faith sat there, in thought. She now knew that there was no chance with the boy-or demon. She understood it, but still her heart was broken. Nothing she could say could fix that.
"Then I'm sorry."
manysidestome Fuegar regarded her, and said, "If I could care, love, I would share that with you." He turned to leave and paused, and turned back around. "You should also know, that even if I could care, it would become a drasticly inhuman emotion, like every other I possess, that could drive me to becoming a monster. If it was intense enough, I could go into my worst form, pure flame, and I would possibly end up killing everything around me. I regret that you feel an attatchment to me, and I regret that I cannot make you happy."
TokoToTheEnd Faith didn't say anything. She didn't move. The only signs that Faith had heard him, was a small smile and tears. ----------------- Alice paced in front of a classroom. She could enter and be late or she could just go off and be yelled at later, well if there was a later to be yelled at. Thinking that Alice turned away and made her way to the lake. Something about it always calmed the half-breed.
manysidestome Fuegar left the classroom, relieved that a problem had been taken care of. Assuming he survived tonight, nothing could tether him there, it was clean cut. He fought tonight, and with the haters gone, he could leave in peace, to be able to keep other from being hurt by him.
Casey Jewels Thomas slid into his seat in the back, feeling very, very greatful to Miss Veliss, his English teacher, for allowing him to sit there. He pulled out his English folder, even as everyone turned and started whispering to each other about him. Thomas simply glanced up at the board, opened up his journal notebook, and started to write. It doesn't matter, he told himself as he fought to stay sitting upright and not sink down out of view. I can handle this. I have too.
iamkatara Rachel nodded and shouted to him. "I guess you're right." She smiled and swam to the edge, slowly pulling herself out. Her shirt stretched and her front was covered, but her back was now visible. She braided her hair and sat down on the edge, looking up at the sky.
manysidestome Raqueal swam over and looked at her. "Is something wrong? You seem a little preoccupied," Raqueal said. He felt something in the air, there was alot of pressure, a feeling of something building up. Excitement maybe, or hatred, perhaps even joy, it was hard for him to tell. He knew it would be let out soon, he wasn't sure though what would be the catalyst, and what would be a result.

| iamkatara Rachel looked down. "I guess it's just the talent show. I know i'll do good, but I feel like something will happen there. Whether it's me winning or something else... i'm not so sure." She shook her head. "It's no use scaring myself now." She smiled at Raqueal. "I'm having too much fun."
manysidestome "I'm glad," Raqueal said, smiling. He looked at her and asked quite randomly, "do you think I should cut my hair? I'm not liking it being this long and it gets in my way sometimes."
iamkatara Rachel raised her eyebrows. "You're right. It is random, but I think it should stay somewhat long." She stroked his hair, not realizing what she was doing. "It's nice long." She finally realized what she was doing and tried to pull her hand away.
manysidestome "Maybe just a trim then," Raqueal said. "I don't like it short, but it's too long now." He smiled at her and said, "i'm sorry for being so random and vain, I just wanted another opinion."
iamkatara Rachel giggled. "You are most definitely not vain. Some people in this school are, but you are definitely not." She looked into his eyes. "I'm happy to give you any opinion you want." Rachel stared into his eyes for a minute, then blushed and looked to the sky again.
TokoToTheEnd Faith paced nervously backstage. She was up first.
"Sis, chill," her twin advised her, but Faith wasn't listening. She was too nervous.
Alice also stood backstage. She would be last, which would work. As leader and last act, she'll be the perfect victim....and that's what she hoped for.
iamkatara Rachel walked up to the side of the stage. If only Raqueal was here. She shook her head. She shouldn't worry about that. She silently went over her lyrics in her head. She always did that before a performance. She took a deep breath. She was ready.
TokoToTheEnd A man came up to the Ackley sisters.
"You ready?"
Faith looked at the man, then Peace, then the curtain, then the exit, then back to the man and nodded.
"You're going to do great," Peace reassured her. "So go and break a leg."
Faith heard her name be announced and felt sick. She walked onto the stage and took the mircophone.
"The song I'm going to be singing is Dark Blue."
manysidestome "Hello Rachel," Raqueal said, walking up next to her. He noticed she looked kind of off, but that was to be expected, it was always nervous performing in front of people.
Fuegar was in the crowd, in the back, watching from a distance not only the acts, but everyone else. He would have to keep his eyes open for anything unusual.
Marcus sat on an aisle seat in the middle, waiting for any orders. He hoped that Peace would do well, he had no idea why, but there was something about her he liked, but he had no idea why. Maybe it was the time they had spent together as haters, but he hadn't been really aware of it until recently. He shook his head, he needed to stay focused, being caught off guard was not the mark of a good hater.
iamkatara Rachel looked to the side as Raqueal walked next to her. "Raqueal!" She jumped up and hugged him, but realized she was being extremly loud. She broke the hug and smiled at him. "Thank you for coming. You have no idea what you being her means to me." She smiled alkwardly at him.
Fire Lord A boy came and sat down next to Marcus, watching the stage with interest. However, when he spoke he talked in a ushed whisper so only Marcus could here.
"Marcus, we wait for Alice. Scarecrow's orders."
A girl watched Faith walk on stage before making her way to stand beside Peace.
"Scarecrow says we start when Alice performs. No sooner," she said in a ushed whisper before clapping for Faith.
manysidestome "I'm glad I could help," Raqueal said. He simled at her warmly, and then asked, "do you feel any pent up energy in the air? I don't want to distract you, but I can't help feeling that something big is going to happen."
"So I have to sit here and watch all this crap," Marcus whispered angrily. "Fine." He felt that if he were going to be here, he might as well use his eyes to copy the physical acts, you never knew what might come in handy.
iamkatara Rachel looked around for any listeners and then whispered to him. "I've been feeling it for a while. Somethings going to happen. I know it." She paused. "I'm afraid Raqueal."
manysidestome "We're not attatched to their concerns," Raqueal said. "If we can stay out of the crossfire, we will be allright. It isn't our business what they want to do, whether it's be friends or kill each other. And you need to focus on singing your heart out."
TokoToTheEnd "I understand," Peace muttered back, her eyes glazing over the half breed for a second. She would enjoy it too. Only things Peace worried about was Faith, and she was sure she could get her safe in time. ----------------------------------------------- Faith took a deep breath and began.
I have (I have) you breathing down my neck (breathing down my neck) I don't (don't know) what you could possibly expect under this condition so I'll wait (I'll wait) for the ambulance to come (ambulance to come) Pick us up off the floor What did you possibly expect under this condition so
Faith smiled to herself, becoming more confindient.
Slow down.. this night's a perfect shade of Dark blue (dark blue) Have you ever been alone in a crowded room when I'm here with you I said the world could be burning down Dark blue (dark blue) Have you ever been alone in a crowded room well I'm here with you I said the world could be burning 'til there's nothing but dark blue.. Just dark blue
This flood (this flood) is slowly rising up swallowing the ground Beneath my feet, Tell me how anybody thinks under this condition so I'll swim (I'll swim) as the water rises up, the sun is sinking down And now all I can see are the planets in a row Suggesting it's best that I slow down
Faith now was totally into the song. She forgot about the crowd and her nerves.
This night's a perfect shade of Dark blue (dark blue) Have you ever been alone in a crowded room when I'm here with you I said the world could be burning (burning) down Dark blue (dark blue) Have you ever been alone in a crowded room well I'm here with you I said the world could be burning dark blue
We were boxing We were boxing the stars We were boxing (we were boxing) You were swinging for Mars And then the water reached the West Coast And took the power lines (the power lines) And it was me and you (this could last forever) And the whole town under water There was nothing we could do It was dark blue
Faith smiled inwardly again. This song matched her well.
Dark blue (dark blue) Have you ever been alone in a crowded room well I'm here with you I said the world could be burning (burning) down Dark blue Have you ever been alone in a crowded room well I'm here with you I said the room could be burning now there's nothing but dark blue
If you've ever been alone in the dark blue If you've ever been alone you'll know (you'll know)
The crowd roared with applauses and Faith blushed, taking a deep bow.
"Next up is Rachel!!"
Faith went back to backstage, only to be hugged by Peace. "Good job Faith!!" But before the hater let go, she whispered into her twin's ear. "Be careful."
iamkatara Rachel nodded, but pulled Raqueal aside. "Raqueal, I'm in the crossfire. Marcus caught me in a corner and now I have to do their bidding." She started to tear. "I don't no what to do." She tried to wipe away her tears but it wouldn't work. "Is there any way I can get out of this mess? I don't want to ask for your help, you'll only get dragged into the crossfire with me. I need you to do something for me." She told him her plans. Her tears dried up and she looked at him.
Before he could answer she heard her name. She dried her tears and went on stage.
She looked to the side, at Raqueal, and then to the sky. I miss you grandma. She smiled and looked to the audience.
(((It's short but it's gorgeous. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XcKmj5ntbrQ ))) Music boxes have within, melodies they carry with them, once they open music fills the air.
Every person you have known, has a song of their own, once they open up you'll hear whats there.
It's not easy you must listen with your heart for what lies hidden.
There was a melody, locked deep inside of me but now its free, it found a place embraced by harmony, sweet harmony,
Love more than anything, Teaches our hearts to sing, Only love, could break the spell, now I know, very well, the love within myself.
(music)
There was a melody, locked deep inside of me but now its free, it found a place embraced by harmony, sweet harmony,
Love more than anything, Teaches our hearts to sing, Only love, could break the spell, now I know, very well, the love within myself.
She smiled and went offstage. She looked around for Raqueal.
manysidestome What... ok, either we leave the school tonight, or... I will be with her on their side, against all my morals, Raqueal thought. He listened to her song and smiled in spite of the situation, her voice was beautiful.
TokoToTheEnd Faith smiled at Rachel.
"You did great. So much more better than me."
iamkatara Rachel smiled. "Thanks." She looked around. "I don't think I did better than you though. We were both really good." She was talking to her but seemed preoccupied somehow.
TokoToTheEnd Faith felt uncomfortable. She wonder if Rachel didn't want to talk to her. She was a nobody after all.
"Thanks! I try my best."
Peace watched in disgust as her sister talked to some other girl. If Faith got too far away, Peace might not be able to save her in time and that was something Peace could never forgive herself for.
Alice walked over to Faith and Rachel, looking at mainly Rachel.
"Can I talk to my friend alone please?"
Faith nodded and walked off.
"You did good. Too bad tonight might be the last night you sing."
iamkatara Rachel looked at her weirdly. "Why? What do you know that I don't know?"
TokoToTheEnd "Most of us," Alice said, choosing her words carefully, "think that tonight they will attack us. I just want to tell you to be prepared. When I give the signal, be ready to fight."
iamkatara Rachel looked at Alice. "Don't worry. I have my butt covered. You don't have to worry about me. But thanks." She walked off.
Fire Lord Jason smiled, clapping his hands with the rest of the cheering crowd.
"They are quite good," he said aloud.
He sat amongst the crowd of students, waiting for the final act of the talent show while enjoying the ones that came before it. He was happy, very happy. Afterall, all of his plans had worked just as he had thought and were continuing to fall into place as he stood here now.
"I can wait to see Alice's performance."
He smiled.
"I bet it will be terrific."
Casey Jewels Thomas, who once more had a jacket over his wings, stood a few people back from Jason. Several people were still giving him weird looks even though he looked like a normal human once more, but most just ignored him. 'Alice's performance...' He clapped along with everybody else, but he was just going through the motions. He wasn't even sure of who had just performed, so intent was he on keeping an eye on Jason. The Hater... helper of the Unwanted... defender of the weak... Scarecrow...? The... boy. Yes, the boy. The boy would not escape from him this time.
He's planning something... something big. And it seems as if it'll take place during Alice's performance. But what is he going to do? What is he planning? Thomas glanced up at the stage and then back down at Jason. And where's Fuegar when you need him?
Fire Lord Jason sat contempt. If he wasn't mistaken, which he wasn't, Tobi's performance was up next. The performances were so spectacular that he almost debated putting off the plan to simply hear the winners. But of course, Scarecrow was dominate at this moment, not Jason.
His eyes flickered across the crowd before returning to the stage. He wouldn't have trouble slipping away, even with Thomas' eyes on his back. Still, Thomas was not as certain of his affiliation as Feugar was, and he could use that to his advantage.
Feugar, that one was an annoying hornet that wouldn't leave him alone. His unique ability to see inside people's feelings and emotions made him more difficult to persuade. However, he was also branded as untrustworthy by his friends anyway. Afterall, he attacked Dorjee and the others. This made his accusations less than credible.
However, Thomas was a different story. Although easy to persuade, his voice had much greater authority among the Unwanted and therefore must be kept in confusion.
In the end though, both of them would be insignificant and would fall into line when the Haters stood victorious.
Casey Jewels What to do? What to do? I'm sure that he's going to make a move before this show is over, but... Of course, that's if he even makes a move... But if he does, when will that be? If his words are to be believed, then it could possibly be during Alice's. Thomas looked back down at Jason once more. "Make your move," Thomas mouthed. "But whatever you do, I will be watching." Then he looked back up at the stage like nothing had happened at all.
Georgie ((Sweet merciful goodness! Can I get the quickest update on where we are? I do have an act indeed! Just need to know where I can fit it. ))
Casey Jewels (Rachel and Faith have both done their act at the talent show. It's Tobi's turn now to perform. There's been some character interaction while we've waited for you to post, but nothing really important has happened. Jason's waiting for Alice to perform before he has the Haters attack. And Thomas is behind him in the crowd, watching and waiting.)
Plaguewalker Dorjee leaned againest the wall near the back of the auditorium, watching silently. The other acts had come and gone, and while still excellent, they were not the ones he was here to see. Tobi was up next. She was the only reason he had shown up to this damnable show. The lights were far to bright for his eyes.
TokoToTheEnd Alice sat down and sighed. She was getting impatient. Her wings itched too, which just made things worse.

| manysidestome IC: Fuegar kept an eye on Jason and an eye everywhere else. He couldn't rule out the possibility that Jason wouldn't move or do anything aside giving orders. In fact, Fuegar half expected it, that he would dissappear in the crossfire, or else acting to protect the younger kids while in reality doing just enough to keep himself from being found out. He also expected that this time Jason would reveal himself, that he was confident enough in his plan that it wouldn't matter if he was exposed or not.
TokoToTheEnd Faith looked out into the crowded as someone else performed. Spotting Fuegar, her heart leaped then sank. She wasn't sure how to feel about him being here. Faith was starting to get a headache from the conflicting emotions. She wished she could just fade away.
"Hey are you ok?"
Faith looked back at Alice and nodded.
"Yeah, I just have a headache."
"Then you should leave. It's better if you're not here." Faith blinked, the other girl's words confusing her. Something about them seemed odd. "I mean if you're getting sick, you don't want to infect others."
Georgie Tobi breathed out through her mouth, eyes closed tight as the butterflies on her stomach danced wildly. She was felt sick with anxiety and not just because she was about to sing in front of a large crowd, but because she knew something was going to happen tonight. And it was going to happen soon. And within several hours, she would be transforming.
"Miss Devans, you're up." A voice said behind her and she felt her eyes snap open. Tobi sighed, and moved across to the side-stage, before turning to look at the others, smiling at Alice and stepping out onto the stage.
Tobi walked out slowly, her legs bare from below the shorts she wore and they suddenly felt numb as her eyes twinkled with the lights that bared down on her. She swallowed hard, and tried to peer into the crowd. She cleared her throat quietly, stepping towards the front of the stage as the music began softly around her and her voicebox opened, revealing as surprisingly good tone.
You're not alone Together we stand I'll be by your side, you know I'll take your hand When it gets cold And it feels like the end There's no place to go You know I won't give in No I won't give in...
She smiled to herself, allowing her body to relax and feel the music seeping into her skin, her smile surfacing gently.
Keep holding on 'Cause you know we'll make it through, we'll make it through Just stay strong 'Cause you know I'm here for you, I'm here for you There's nothing you could say Nothing you could do There's no other way when it comes to the truth So keep holding on 'Cause you know we'll make it through, we'll make it through...
Tobi looked into the crowd again and this time, she saw Jason and suddenly, she felt as if she were flying - the butterflies in her stomach fluttered violently as she cast her glance towards him, before pulling her eyes away and continued her song.
So far away I wish you were here Before it's too late, this could all disappear Before the doors close And it comes to an end With you by my side I will fight and defend I'll fight and defend Yeah, yeah
Tobi looked around again and saw Dorjee - a comforted smile reached her lips as the song flowed from her tongue in a smooth rhythm. But in her mind was the constant poisonous twist of the fact she was transforming tonight. And something else was wrong, she just knew it.
Hear me when I say, when I say I believe Nothing's gonna change, nothing's gonna change destiny Whatever's meant to be will work out perfectly Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
La da da da La da da da La da da da da da da da da
Keep holding on 'Cause you know we'll make it through, we'll make it through Just stay strong 'Cause you know I'm here for you, I'm here for you There's nothing you could say Nothing you could do There's no other way when it comes to the truth So keep holding on 'Cause you know we'll make it through, we'll make it through
Keep holding on Keep holding on
Tobi thought about Alice, she thought about the Unwanted and how much she needed them all. They were her family and as hard as it was to let go of her real family, she realised that they had been the ones that pulled her through. Alice meant so much to her, and Tobi found her eyes drifting towards the sides, hoping to see Alice, hoping to see her smiling. But first, Tobi had a song to finish.
And she would give it her all.
There's nothing you could say Nothing you could do There's no other way when it comes to the truth So keep holding on 'Cause you know we'll make it through, we'll make it through...
She finished strongly, her eyes watering beneath the lights as she stopped her voice and smiled widely, taking a sweeping back and looking at Jason once more before hurrying off into the wings, her heart pounding with excitement and adrenilin.
Casey Jewels Thomas let out a sigh of frustration as he clapped along with the crowd. Tobi had kept glancing at Jason while she was performing, which was not a good sign. If he breaks her heart..., he thought and issued forth a low growl. But nobody could hear his growl over all of the noise, for which he was grateful. The less attention drawn to him right now, the better.
Now who's next? he asked himself. I know we're getting close to Alice... He inched in a little closer to Jason, but not enough to draw any attention to himself. And we're getting closer to trouble.
Fire Lord "Marvelous," said Jason, clapping his hands with the rest of the crowd. He smiled at Tobi as her eyes caught his.
"What a perfect liability," he thought to himself, continuing his clapping.
"Unfortunate her usefulness is limited. I've reached the closing point of this game with the Unwanted."
He smirked, his teeth grinning underneath.
"But I won't stop until I have everything."
His eyes widened slightly, everyone else merely taking it as excitement for the show. In reality, Jason's excitement stemmed from a darker source.
"Even if I do kill Alice, there is no evidence to reveal that I am Scarecrow. No papers, no eye witnesses, not even my own followers know who I am. I can simply keep killing them off one by one."
Jason chuckled darkly, clapping for Tobi's performance.
"Everything is working perfectly as I planned. Thomas and Feugar have done marvelous in their performances. I think I'll let them stay."
Jason eyes darted towards the direction he knew Thomas sat.
"Scarecrow will show himself this night. No one will know I am him."
He returned his eyes to the stage.
"And I will have everything!"
Plaguewalker Dorjee smiled, clapping quietly. He hadn't know Tobi had a talent for singing. She was quite good, she might even have a future in it. The unwanted flicked his eyes through the crowd, sighing when he reached Jason. He had seen Tobi look at him. The feelings were very obvious. The posessed sighed again, wishing the facts were different.
TokoToTheEnd Alice clapped. She really did enjoy everyone's perfomance, but the tension she was feeling was getting to her. She was having a hard time thinking right to really enjoy anything.
Casey Jewels I wish that this was all over. The suspense is killing me. I need to know who is right and who is wrong. But no matter how things turn out, somebody is going to be hurt. Thomas' mind flashed back to Tobi, and how she had looked right at Jason. And then there was Fuegar, who was so sure that he was right about Jason. And there was also Alice, who was going to have to deal with whatever Unwanted was hurt. And, if Fuegar was indeed wrong about Jason, then he would leave. Though there was a pretty big chance that he would just leave anyways.
And there was sure to be more physical pain done than emotional. Some of the Unwanted, and the innocent, might very well not be around to see the sunrise.
Thomas looked up at the stage, his eyes searching for Alice. If anything happened to her..., there would be heck to pay.
TokoToTheEnd Alice walked up to a teacher, who just smiled at her. Alice walked off, searching for a bathroom. She had to get away, to think. Somewhere where she could be alone, and clear her head.
Fire Lord "Someone is nervous," muttered Jason, watching Alice walk away from the stage.
"Nevous about what, is the question though. Nervous about performing, or nervous that you'll be parting ways with everyone else tonight. One does not truely appreciate life until they are at the brink of death."
Casey Jewels Thomas rocked back and forth, his eyes filled with worry as he watched Alice leave. He wanted to just rush up to her and make sure that everything was alright, but... he couldn't. Not without giving away his position. So instead he forced himself to just sit there, waiting and watching.
I wonder if she feels the way that I feel... Does she get the feeling that something big is about to happen? Or is she just nervous because of her performance? He let out a sigh and, after checking on Jason, stared down at his hands.
manysidestome Fuegar finally spotted Thomas, and quietly moved through the rows until he was sitting next to him. "It's me, don't worry," he said quietly as he kept an eye on Jason and one near the exit closest to him.
Casey Jewels Thomas nodded. "Have you picked up anything useful while you've been out and about today?" he whispered to the demon, all the while keeping his eyes on Jason. "Because, frankly, I have no idea what's going to happen. I just know that something big is coming." His eyes flickered towards Fuegar, and then back to Jason. "Maybe during Alice's performance."
manysidestome "I feel like something is going to happen, anyone can sense that if they're in tune enough," Fuegar said. "The only thing today is that Jason knows fully that I am against him, and he thinks my opinions has been discredited within our group. I told Alice about it, and she believed me, and agreed that tonight is when it ends. I'm guessing she has something waiting after her performance, or if not, we spring on Jason here. Whether he's innocent or not, he's a liability to us now, and needs to be taken out. If he's innocent, he'll be over us fighting everyone for the little kids safety, we need him out if either way," he whispered.
Casey Jewels So the cat's out of the bag. Jason now knows that we're both against him. Well, kind of... "I agree. Either way, he's going to hinder us. As much as I hate it, others are going to be hurt during this fight. If Jason tries to save some of them, then..." He let out a sigh. "He'll be fighting both us and the Haters."
manysidestome "Yes, and while he could be an asset, he's more of a liability to us, since the haters are far more powerful than he is, if he is innocent. Of course, we both know he's a hater, and we know he's got more power than he shows. If I'm wrong about this, I will never trust my judgement again, which is always accurate," Fuegar whispered.
Casey Jewels He nodded once more. "Yes, we both know..." He let out a soft sigh and scooted forward a little, trying to ease the pressure on his wings. "We'll just have to wait this out a little longer. Then maybe we'll have our answers."
Georgie Tobi felt as if her heart may explode. Had Jason smiled at her? It seemed almost too good to be true and Tobi was nearly shaking with delight. The adrenlin was surging as the mixed emotions of her imminent transformation entangled themselves within her bloodstream. She just couldn't bring herself to believe Fuegar and Thomas's views on Jason. How could such a kind, generous boy be evil?
Tobi couldn't believe it. She wouldn't. And she knew she was being biased due to her feelings, but she felt as if her heart were showing her the path. She cared for her fellow Unwanted and there was little she wouldn't do for them, but for Jason, it seemed, she'd go to the ends of the earth and back - even just for a smile.
Tobi sighed happily, turning only to see Alice walking away from the stage. Tobi frowned and chewed her lip, knowing she probably wanted to be alone, but she couldn't allow her best friend to simply wallow in her nerves. She quickly followed. "Alice!" Tobi grinned, hurrying across to her, noting the anxiety in her face.
TokoToTheEnd Alice stopped and faced Tobi. She sighed, but didn't move away. If things got bad tonight, Alice knew somewhere inside her, that she would be the one to take the first fall. To protect someone. So if she was to die tonight, Alice thought that at least she can let others be at peace.
"What is it Tobi?"
manysidestome "Tobi is also a liability. Try as we might, Jason has her brainwashed, perhaps most of all out of the unwanted," Fuegar whispered to Thomas. "She may try to prevent us from getting at Jason. I don't want to hurt her, but if she helps our oppisition at all, we may have to do something to ensure she stops. Not kill her, but at least knock her out." He hated this, but Tobi, by her sheer stubbornness and refusal of accepting the possibillity of Jason being bad was going to impede on their victory.
Casey Jewels Thomas nodded slowly, hesitantly. He hadn't thought about that before. Hurting other Unwanted... With a quick glanced at Fuegar he changed the course of his thoughts. Purposely hurting other Unwanted..., that was nearly unthinkable to him. But yet... it was a very big possibility. "As much as I hate to admit it, I think that you're right."
Georgie Tobi slowed down, her grin fading as she stopped in front of Alice and exhaled through her nose. "What's the matter? And please don't say you are just nervous about the performance... Because I am not stupid and I know there is something else going on." Tobi said carefully, watching her friends' face closely.
She knew something... Or she was worried. Just like Tobi was.
Fire Lord "I believe it is time to find out just how much influence I can have over Tobi," thought Jason.
"I'll have to speak with her immediatly."
He smiled, relaxing in his seat as his eyes wandered around the area.
TokoToTheEnd "I'm worried about what might happen," Alice confessed. She didn't want to worry Tobi, sounding so unsure of herself, but Tobi was her best friend. Alice was sure she would understand. That, or slap her in the face and yell at her for being so negative. The thought almost made Alice smile, but then what could happened came back and the feeling left. "The Haters have waited for so long, but we are a poweful force. Both of us are. The only way to end this is to have a fight. A huge fight. I really believe that's going to happen tonight."
iamkatara Rachel looked around. She needed to get out of here. She knew this talent show wouldn't end. Her gut feeling was bigger than ever. She ran around, finally finding Raqueal. "Are you ready?"
Georgie Tobi nodded thoughtfully, chewing her lip as she looked at her friend. "I know Al, I'm worried too. But everyone of us Unwanted are strong - we've made sure of that, you and I. We made sure they knew what was ahead of them, what was possible if they joined us. Fighting was always on the cards, they know that, we know that." Tobi said quietly before sighing.
"Al, I think you should go out and show that audience just how amazing you are. I've seen it, the Unwanted has seen it, now let them see it. I'll be watching and waiting in the wings - and at the first sign of disruption, I'll signal you." Tobi smiled, nudging her friend affectionately.
She wondered if she should tell her that she was due to transform tonight, but that thought seemed to have disappeared into thoughts of Jason and that... That smile he had flashed her- Tobi stopped herself thinking of it, Alice needed her.
"Go on Al, knock 'em dead!" Tobi grinned.
Fire Lord Jason's eyes darted to his left at the person sitting next to him. He needed to speak with Tobi, and that meant loosing his two stalkers. He let out a loud groan, grabbing his stomach and wincing.
The boy next to him turned his head in concern.
"You alright man?"
Jason shook his head.
"I think my wound had reopened," he muttered, keeping his hand over the knife wound he had received early.
The boy stood up and helped Jason to his feet.
"Come on, I'll take you to the infirmary."
Jason nodded his thanks and let the boy lead him out of the spectators and away from Thomas and Feugar. Once Jason made sure he and the boy were out of sight of everyone else, Jason side stepped him and slammed his elbow into the back of the boy's head and knocking him out.
"Now to find Tobi," he muttered, vanishing into the darkness behind the curtain of the stage.
Casey Jewels Thomas let Jason walk almost halfway down the row before following after him as swiftly and quietly as possible. This is it, he thought. The final stretch before the attack. And the most crucial time to be watching him. He reached the end of the row and glanced about for the two boys. Not seeing either of them, he did the only thing he could; he took a deep whiff of the air and took off towards in the infirmary.
Between his nose and his following the path to the infirmary, it wasn't too long before he found the unconcious form of the boy that had been leading Jason out. Oh crud. He quickly looked about for any signs of a struggle or attack or anything, but saw nothing.
Did Jason hit him? He looked the boy over, studying him. Or did this boy try and attack Jason? Or...? He angrily shook his head and looked about once more, this time looking for any signs that would tell him which way Jason had gone.
manysidestome Fuegar had kept closer tabs on him, he had managed, as tall as he was, to tail the boy without being noticed, and as the two left, he followed, dodging behind lockers. His demon senses were more intuned to everything, so they were far out of eyesight and earshot when he sensed the new direction and followed it, only one person still going. Jason was despicable, but Fuegar reflected that if he would have done the same thing had he been in Jason's situation. The kid was only a pawn, and Jason was the queen in this game of chess, his identity the king. He felt it, Jason was doubling back to the stage, so he walked toward it, knowing Jason would get there first, probably not to do anything, except poison Alice's... or Tobi's mind, or another Unwanted back there.
"Yes, I'm ready, let's leave now," Raqueal said. "I'm sorry, but that isn't part of our game," a voice said from behind Raqueal. Marcus stood there, his eyes glowing red. "Jianna, I'm dissapointed, trying to get out of our arrangement, it's so... disrespectful," he said, smiling.
TokoToTheEnd Alice nodded, glad she had Tobi around.
"Thanks. But I'm sure, I'll be the one signaling people. I have a plan. Watch and wait."
Alice walked back to backstage. She braced herself for what she was going to do. Either it would work and things would go from there, or it wouldn't and Alice could ruin everything. She really hoped for the former. The latter sounded not so fun.
"I just wish Ty Lu was here," she mumbled to herself. Alice though about the girl. She knew why she had really left. Alice was one of the few who knew. Ty Lu had gotton herself into trouble with the Haters and her only good option was to leave. It pained Alice to think she might have to do the same after tonight.
iamkatara Rachel looked back at Marcus. She couldn't believe he'd found her out. "Marcus. I should have known." She realized what they had agreed to and bowed her head. "Forgive me." She looked at Raqueal, her eyes watering. "I'm your servant." Her words spoke what he wanted to hear, but her eyes said differently. She looked at Raqueal with pure sorrow. She hated turning her back on Raqueal. She'd rather die.
manysidestome Raqueal looked shocked from her to Marcus, and his eyes became trapped in Marcus's eyes. "Hmm... you want to help us out too," Marcus said. The suggestion echoed his Raqueal's mind. He was more than able to fight it off, but the combined thought along with sticking with Rachel overpowered him, and he nodded. "I'll... i'll side with you as well," he said, a hint of sadness in his voice. "I won't desert you Rachel, even if it means I must pick a side in a war I don't believe in." "That's all fine and dandy, now let's get into position, you'll be sticking with me when this operation starts," Marcus said, heading back toward the audience.
iamkatara As she followed Marcus, she stared at Raqueal. "What are you doing? You don't have to do this for me Raqueal. It was my fault that I got into this, and I have to get myself out." She stopped him for a second, only for a second. "You can run now and you can't get hurt. I can't see you get hurt Raqueal. Please." She followed behind Marcus. She didn't need him getting upset at her. Tears started forming, but she wouldn't let herself cry. Not in front of Raqueal.
Fire Lord Jason's hand shot out of the darkness and wrapped around Tobi's mouth, pulling her into the darkness. Jason pulled her along a darkned route, and after he knew that no one had followed them he removed his hand and turned her towards him.
"Tobi, listen to me," he breathed desperately.
"You're in grave danger, and so am I."
manysidestome IC: Raqueal followed Rachel, feeling very sad that this was how things were proceeding. "I can't leave you alone. I can't become the last elf I know again, and I can't let you die for more than that. You don't have to worry about me, I won't die while you still live," he told her.
Marcus led them to the seats, and sat down in his former seat, two seats to his right without occupants.
iamkatara Rachel took the bait and sat down. She didn't want to anger Marcus and have something bad happen. Enough people were going to die tonight. She edged away from Marcus so she was closer to Raqueal. "Raqueal, even though i'm not happy about it... thank you for coming along." She paused. "And trust me, I'm not going to be the only elf you meet. There has to be others out there. You just don't see them yet." She smiled and pecked him on the cheek. She didn't know how he would react, but she needed to thank him for everything... and mabye a little more.
Casey Jewels Thomas slowly walked this way and that, trying to pick out Jason's scent. Then, he caught it--the scent of blood. The Unwanted grinned as he silently congratulated himself and then started on the trail once more. But he had to travel slowly, for the smell wasn't a very strong one. I hope nothing bad happens before I find him...
TokoToTheEnd Peace sat down in the front row, a grimace on her face. She was getting impatient, but she would have to wait. Still it was getting boring. ------------ Faith sat backstage, her eyes closed. She was thinking about her childhood. Mainly first grade. Back then things were so simply. Almost everyone were friends. No one really fought and if there was one, it was just over a childish things. Nothing important. Faith wished now that she could go back to first grade. Anything would be better than where she was now. Things were so messed up. Faith was having a hard time understanding it all.
Georgie Tobi felt her herself being dragged and suddenly, she heard that voice that nearly brought her to her knees - except, she noticed the panic in his voice. "Jason, you're in danger..." Tobi breathed, her eyes staring into his. She had never been so close to him, never alone and yet, the situation was not a postitive one. Tobi decided not to tell him she knew she was in danger... She was always in danger from the time she woke up, to when she went to sleep.
"How'd do you know? What's going on?" Tobi asked quietly.
Fire Lord Jason franticaly looked around before turning his attention to Tobi.
"I'm telling you this because you're the person I trust most, and that I care about what happens to you. I was investigating the Haters when I came across a dark secret. You have been decieved Tobi! We all have! Alice is a Hater. Alice is Scarecrow!"
He looked around once more, before turning back to Tobi. He held her shoulders steady and pulled her closer to him, his face full of nervousness and fear.
"You've got to believe me! Please, even now Feugar and Thomas are trying to kill me to prevent me from telling you this! Alice is planning to attack the entire school tonight! After her act she'll give the order to strike. Please, Tobi, please..."
He pulled her closer towards him, his eyes staring into her's.
"Please tell me you believe me..." he whispered.
Georgie Tobi felt as if he had punched her hard in the stomach -the air had been knocked from her lungs and her eyes were wide. Alice... My best friend... Scarecrow? Tobi's eyes were filled with the scared reflection of Jason and she felt her body shake. I'm the one he trusts most... He cares about what happens to me... If the situation hadn't been so dangerously confusing, Tobi would have jumped for joy.
"Jason... A-are you sure? Alice is one of my b-best friends... It can't be..." Tobi muttered in a hushed tone, her eyes flickering across their feet now as her mind and emotions whirled.
Fire Lord Jason's head sank in sadness.
"I double checked...I tripled check in fact. I went over the information again and again, I did numerous investigations and I have no doubt. Alice is Scarecrow. I told Thomas of this, and in response, he and Feugar are now trying to kill me."
He looked back into Tobi's eyes.
"I don't know how far this infection of the Hater's travels. I took a chance coming to you about this because I trust you and because I care about you. Please, I don't want any innocents to needlessly be hurt because of the Haters."
Jason sank his head in sorrow once more.
"I trusted Alice. I always thought she was the most devoted of the Unwanted. But she's been using everyone for her own selfish desires. I overheard her plans, her schemes. She's been drawing you in since the day you met."
Casey Jewels Thomas's concern grew as the scent led him back towards the stage. Was this just a trick, a decoy? Has the Haters already made their move? Or... Tobi. Of course! And of course he didn't want anyone to know that he was talking to her, because that would just make them both more of a target than they already are, unless... Unless he means to take her out now, of course. Or...
He groaned and slowly shook his head. You're overthinking it, he told himself. So knock it off.
Georgie Tobi's could barely believe what she was hearing. Was she to believe this? Was Jason telling her the truth? After all, so many of them distrusted him and his presence amongst the Unwanted and yet, Tobi could not see why. He had helped them, given them valuable information about the Haters' movements. Thomas and Fuegar did not trust Jason, Tobi knew this and the fact they were trying to kill him for overhearing plans was possible, especially in desperate times like these.
But... Alice, being the Scarecrow - Tobi's eyes widened as Jason finished his sentence with... She's been drawing you in since the day you met... Tobi felt like her heart had frozen. "It... It c-can't be..." Tobi felt the hot tears surfacing in her eyes as she looked into Jasons'. "Alice... Why would she do this...?" Tobi felt a sob hop in her throat.
Fire Lord Jason's gaze softened and he pulled the crying Tobi to him, wrapping his arms around her.
"Because, she's just a Hater. She's destroying the Unwanted from the inside out. It's hard to believe, I know, but she's been using everyone since the beginning."
He tightened his embrace on her and whispered soothingly into her ear.
"Shhh...it's alright. I'm still here, Tobi. I still care about you, and I'm still loyal to you. I would never break your heart or your trust. You'll always have me. Tonight, Alice is going to hurt so many people, ruin so many lives. We have to stop her before she does. We have to make sure the same thing that's happened to you will never happen to anyone else ever again. Please, will you help me Tobi?"
Plaguewalker Dorjee stared quietly at the stage, awaiting the last performance of the night. He glanced about, looking for any other Unwanted. There weren't many around him, but he didn't really care. He wasn't the most popular of the Unwanted, but he was fine with that. He'd need to see Tobi after the show, and talk to her about her transformation.
Georgie Tobi felt Jason bring herself closer to him as the tears spilt from her eyes. And she listened. Listened to that soothing voice ooze into her ears softly, comforting her, drowning every bad thought, every doubt about him in a wave of warmth. He cared for her, he had said it.
Alice... How could she do this? Tobi had trusted her, given her everything, risked her life to help Alices' causes... And then, something within Tobi clicked and she nodded against his shoulder, her eyes wide and glossy.
"I'll help you... Jason." Tobi whispered, trembling against him.
Fire Lord Jason allowed a smirk to grace his lips before it quickly dissapeared. He kept Tobi's head burried in his shoulder, rubbing her back soothingly and whispering into her ear.
"Alice still thinks she can use you, Tobi," he whispered softly.
"We can use her own evil ways against her. She's performing her act next. After it's done, she'll give the order for the Haters to strike. We must stop her before she does. If the Haters don't receive that order, they'll be lost and confused. Alice still thinks she's using you like a puppet, so she won't mind you staying near her. You must pretend as if everything is fine, then as soon as she finishes her act you must strike her down from behind. Do not give her a single chance to speak or the Haters will attack."
He pulled Tobi from his shoulder to stare gently into her eyes, resting his forehead on her's.
"Tobi...can you please do this? Can you stop Alice before so many more get hurt?"
Georgie Tobi's mind was screaming as the effects of her immiment transformation began to increase - her eyes twitched a little and she felt a flush wash across her skin, pricking at her pores nastily. She listened to Jason, focusing all of her energy on him and his voice.
"Strike her... Y-you mean... Kill her?" Tobi stammered, feeling torn between her best friend and her long-time love who was finally responding. But something felt off, something was not right and Tobi could barely stand the contradicting sense.
"Jason... How do I know... Y-you're not using me either?" Tobi asked softly after a moment, pulling her eyes up to look into his.
Fire Lord Jason stared into her worried eyes. His own reflected his overwhelming confidence and warmth that he now poured into Tobi. They searched his, begging for her to believe him, and giving a undeniable sence of trust and caring.
His hands tightened around her as he brought her even closer to him. His breath was on her own as he closed the gap between their lips, kissing her long and soft.
"Because I care about you, Tobi," he whispered as he broke the kiss.
"And because I will never let anything happen to you. I'll protect you. Your heart will never be broken by someone like Alice ever again. I will keep it safe, I promise."
Georgie Tobi's eyes widened in surprise as Jason kissed her and it was as if she had fallen into a pool of bathwater. She felt warm, safe and most of all, she felt sure. Everything Jason had said seemed to make sense now - there was no doubt left in her mind now. Alice had left her mind now, her transformation had gone too - all she could think of was the man before her, the one who had kissed her.
"Jason..." She breathed as they broke, and she looked at him - noticing that glint of malice in her eyes, the very same she had within the emerald orbs when she was a blood-lusting monster, but they softened with his words of care and protection. "Jason, I'll do this for you. I'll do anything for you now." Tobi said softly and yet, her tone was firm and resolute.
And despite the lack of the full milky moon above her, she felt as if she had already transformed into something stronger.
Fire Lord "You have to go, before they find out that I've told everything," he whispered, smiling warmly at Tobi.
"Go, and stay near Alice until the time is right. Together, Tobi, we will bring an end to this conflict and save the people of this school from the Haters once and for all."
He released her slowly, watching her eyes with a seemingly never ending consideration and concern. However, now there was hope and warmth deep within them.
"I will always keep your heart safe, Tobi. And...thank you...for everything."

| Here's pages 51-55.
Georgie Tobi took a few steps back and nodded at Jason, her heart pounding in her chest as her eyes danced across his shadowed face. Her eyes widened again as he thanked her, and she felt her pulse quicken. She could think of nothing to say, nothing could express her current emotions. Instead, she took a quick step toward him, reached up and kissed his lips quickly, before turning away and hurrying from the darkened hall - her cheeks burning.
She resisted the urge to revisit the memories just past and instead, hurried backstage to wait for Alice as her mind shrieked throughout the thoughts and new information she had been passed. And suddenly, a surge of voilent emotions exploded within her. She felt enraged Alice had used her, she felt stupid for being so blind, she felt deeply hurt from the lack of true friendship the Unwanted had shown... But most of all, she felt resolute. She had a job to do, for the better.
And yet, her transformation was coming and she could feel the evidence of that riddling her body. She let out a deep breath and forced a smile.
manysidestome Somewhere from the surrounding darkness, a slow clapping came out, and Fuegar stepped out to where Jason was now alone. "Bravo Jason," he said, smiling slightly. "You managed to turn Tobi away from her best friend. I don't think anyone but you could have done it. Yes, Tobi is one of the most bound to her emotions, and you are a trigger for them. I'm not surprised in the least about this. Again I say, bravo."
Casey Jewels Thomas came up right alongside Fuegar, glancing curiously from his face to Jason's. Having just spotted the two of them, he wasn't sure how long the two of them had been talking.
"I..." Thomas stared at Jason's wound, but then forced himself to look away. "Have either of you seen Alice?" he asked, inventing a reason on the spot as to why he was here. "And I thought that you were headed to the infirmary," he said to Jason as an afterthought.
TokoToTheEnd Faith began to cry. She didn't really understand why, but then she knew it. She was crying for both the Haters and the Unwanted. She felt in her heart she had to. They were enemies, standing on opposite sides of the battle field, yet they were friends too. Family and lovers. They were beings, living breathing beings. It reminded Faith of the Civil War because that's what it is. Faith began to sob now, she couldn't keep her sorrow in. -------------------- Alice watched Faith cry. She made no move to comfort her, only watching. Comfort would not help. The end, the fight was inevitable. Everyone was going to have to face that fact. Whether now or later, what happened was meant to. The silent war could go on no longer. It was the end. A single tear trailed down Alice's face, shocking her.
'Why am I crying?'
Alice put her hand to her face, pulling back, looking at the liquid. It was odd. Alice had never cried before.
Fire Lord A wide malicious grin etched itself over Jason's lips. He tilted his head back, alllowing a dark, eery chuckle escape his throat.
"Thomas," he said, smiling widely at the Unwanted.
"Tell me. How much do you care about Alice? I've seen you both, and I could be half as intelligent as I am and I would still realize it. The way the emotionless Alice falls to stammers and blushes when you speak to her. I think you two could have a bright and promising future together."
manysidestome "...When I'm with you... it almost feels like... I don't need anyone else in my life anyway," Raqueal told her in a whipser. "It feels like I don't need to meet any other elves. Though I do want to find other elves like us, I wouldn't mind if we never found them, as long as we're together." He didn't know where this corny guy was coming from, but it didn't matter he supposed.
Fuegar looked at Thomas and said, "she's probably back stage preparing for her act. We should return to see it." He looked back to Jason and said, "all of us, isn't that right, Jay?"
Fire Lord "Of course, I'm looking forward to it," said Jason, smiling his wide grin.
"Come on, we can all go together and give her our support. She's going to have to be perfect to keep with everyone else that's performed tonight."
He motioned his arm for them to follow before head through the darkness back towards the talent show.
Georgie Tobi's sensitive ears twitched, catching the sound of girl crying... And, Tobi's nose wriggled in the air, catching the familiar scent of her former best friend. Alice. Tobi's eyes widened as a grin surfaced and she hurried over to her, masking the grin behind a worried expression. She had to pretend everything was alright, just as Jason had told her. She came up slowly behind her, her eyes glued to the back of the girl. "Alice? You okay?" Tobi asked quietly, ignoring the sobbing girl beyond them.
TokoToTheEnd
Alice wiped away the single tear and nodded.
"Oh course I am. Just nervous. Things are going to change tonight."
Alice looked at the woman organizing everything. Her turn was almost here. Alice could feel her throat close and she swallowed hard. She was insanely nervous. More nervous than she had ever been.
iamkatara Rachel smiled. "You've gone all corny all of a sudden." She joked with him. "I've never seen this side of you Raqueal." She giggled a little, only loud enough for them to hear. "I'll be right back. He won't care as long as I get back in time for whatever they're doing." She got up and went backstage to check on her friends. She saw Tobi and Alice and went over to them. "You guys all right? Have you felt like somethings going to happen tonight? It scares me."
Georgie Tobi felt the smirk beneath her faux worry twitch with excitement as the thick cursed blood began to surge in her viens. Her time was coming. "Yeah, you're right. Things will change tonight. I think things have already began to change." Tobi said softly, fighting the urge to attack Alice now and demand why she used her. But held some control and stepped toward her again... Hugging her with one arm, smiling at her.
"C'mon. You've got nothing to be nervous about. You'll be great... We'll be fine." Tobi saw Rachel and smiled, wondering if she too was being used or a user. "I'm fine, I think we're fine." Tobi chose not to say anything about Rachel's predictions of the night. She much rather let her watch instead.
TokoToTheEnd Alice hugged Tobi back. She was glad that she had such a good friend like her. If Tobi wasn't around, Alice was sure, she'd fall apart.
"Thanks October," Alice said, her voice raising slightly. "You're the best. I'm glad I have you to count on. I really know that I can trust you tonight."
manysidestome "Yes, lets," Fuegar said, walking after Jason. For once, he was truly frightened on the inside. Tobi was going to kill Alice, but he couldn't do anything about that, it wasn't like he could kill Tobi right in front of Alice, that would make everything worse, but if he did nothing, Alice could be killed. Was Tobi really that stupid, and blinded by emotion... well of course she was, she was the worst in this school about it. He inwardly hit himself, and then a new thought entered his mind. Just get angry, and let everyone fight against you, he thought. They will all ban together to fight a full fledged flaming demon killing everyone. Lives may be lost, but maybe not as much as when you did nothing. This was the best he could come up with, when the time was right, he would give into his pent up emotions, and unleash his true demon self. It might just save everyone.
Georgie Tobi felt her smirk falter as a sharp pain tore across her stomach, across her mind and emotions. She smiled quickly at Alice, nodding. "What are best friends for, right? Apart from great gossip stations." Tobi said, chuckling weakly as her emotions roared. Am I doing the right thing? Am I about to kill my best friend for... Nothing? Is Jason lying... Tobi took a deep breath and gave Alice one last squeeze before stepping back.
"I'll wait for you in the wings. Good luck!" Tobi said, smiling widely as she turned to moved into the wings - her heart thudding painfully in her clammy chest. She was doubting everything now. Alice was either a very good manipulator, or Jason had gotten his facts wrong.
iamkatara Rachel smiled as Alice went onstage. She stayed behind Tobi to watch her. Something was off about her tonight, and she didn't know if it was just her or if her hunch was right. She went up behind her, "What do you know about tonight then?"
TokoToTheEnd Alice stood on stage, readying herself. As the music begins to play, Alice looks at an assortment of people. Peace, Tobi, Jason, Fuegar, Faith, Rachel...and Thomas. As she danced she felt strange. Everything seemed to be in a state or surrealism. And as the music came to an end, Alice spun one last time, her wings unfolding.
"It begins."
Georgie Tobi spun around, glaring at Rachel. "Nothing! All I know about tonight is something very personal." Tobi hissed, referring to her transformation. Thankfully, she could use this as a masking excuse to her confusion. Nobody except Dorjee, Alice and a select few knew of her 'furry little issue' and she was not about to tell Rachel.
Her conflicting emotions were driving her insane and Tobi stared at Rachel. "Do you know anything?" Tobi asked, turning away and watching as Alice danced. She looked... Stunning.
Another sickening rip of pain tore through Tobi and she had to bite down on her lip to stop from doubling over, breathlessly.
And then, Tobi saw Alice's wings unfold and she knew that that was signal. Tobi...can you please do this? Jason's worried voice floated through her mind and something within her snapped, wiping the strange tension away. She turned, grinning at Rachel before striding out onto the stage, moving up behind Alice.
"Hello best friend." She growled - her voice box deepening to a husky purr as the beast within her began to grow and spread.
Casey Jewels Thomas bit his lip at Jason's words, blushing a little as he did so. He hadn't thought that it was that obvious that he liked Alice and she liked him. In fact, it wasn't even something he had realized himself until a little earlier. But as he followed Jason and Fuegar back to the crowd, his embarrassment gave way to fear.
He can use that to his advantage. If he threatens her..., then I'll be powerless. I refuse to let her get hurt because of me. But yet Jason sounds sincere about wishing us well for the future... What if...? Gah! Back to the overthinking again! He mentally slapped himself in the forehead.
That's when he noticed that they were back out among the crowd..., and Alice was looking at him. He blushed a little at this and opened his mouth to wish her good luck, but then the music started and he held back. He didn't want to distract her at all as she danced.
His eyes were glued to her, watching her every move. She seemed as graceful as a butterfly as she danced about. And as beautiful as one too. Then her dance ended, and the signal was given. But Thomas was too drunk on her beauty to respond like he was supposed too.
I've never seen something so magnificent...
TokoToTheEnd Alice watched as more than half of the audience gasped and gaped at her. Then a bunch of Haters stood. ALice only smirked as Unwanted members stood too.
"Get out!! All you stupid humans leave!!" Alice didn't want to be so mean, but she had to get the innocents out. Some did leave too.
Alice then heard Tobi and turned to her, sensing something was wrong.
"Hello to you too." ------------------- Peace stood and wacked an Unwanted across the head.
"Stupid fleas. Don't you realize you'll just die tonight."
Peace looked to the stage, but not at Tobi and Alice, but to her sister. She couldn't see Faith, but she knew she was back there. Yet Peace could do nothing about it. It would be too hard to get to the stage. ------------------- Faith continued to cry backstage, not knowing what was going on.
iamkatara Jiana ran up behind Alice, but saw Marcus in the audience and was torn two ways. She looked from Alice, back to Marcus, and then got off the stage and sat next to Marcus. She started to tear. "I'm sorry Alice."
Fire Lord On the exits of the room appeared the familiar red and black cloaks of the Haters. They all stood in front of the exits, blocking both the Unwanted and the normal students from leaving.
Jason smirked and brought both his elbows back. They connected to both Thomas and Feugar, allowing him to laugh and run, dissapearing into the darkness.
Casey Jewels Thomas snapped out of his trance at the shout. Time to fight, he thought as he glanced towards Jason, only to see an elbow zooming towards his face. His eyes widened and he attempted to duck down, but there wasn't time.
The Unwanted let out a yelp as he felt his nose snap and he hit the ground. With teary eyes, he glanced up at Jason to see him running off. That little... He snarled and pushed himself back onto his feet, ignoring the blood pouring out of his nose. He then hurriedly slipped off both layers of his shirt, leaving him bare-chested. He didn't necessarily like showing off his skin, but it would free up his wings a little bit. And he needed to be able to maneuver well if he was to stay alive. And if he was going to stop Jason.
His eyes narrowed in hatred as he searched for the boy. Traitorous scum! And to think I believed him!
manysidestome Fuegar smiled as the fist came and his him in the chest, and he grunted. Clever little sneak he was, to do that, and he saw Thomas go after him. Thomas can have him, right now, I need to keep an eye on Tobi, and maybe more, he thought. He made his way toward the stage, among the chaos, and decided that he would not give into his emotions now. No, too much chaos, there did not need to be more. Besides, he was most effective when he had focus.
Marcus rose from his seat and watched as everything started happening. He grabed his cloak and put it around himself, making an impressive sight, so he liked to imagine, with a red and black cloak and glowing red eyes, and of course, his devilishly handsome and evil smile. He glanced over at Peace, wondering if she would be all right, and then slapped himself mentally for losing focus. "Don't attack anyone wearing a red and black cloak, and stay close to me," he told Rachel and Raqueal. Raqueal stood up and nodded, glaring with intense dislike at Marcus.
TokoToTheEnd Peace put on her cloak and tried to make her way to the stage, but no it was useless. It would take too long to get to it. And Peace would most likely be buised too. Peace bit her lip, worrying for her sister.
iamkatara Jiana nodded and followed Marcus. She didn't need him to see she was attacking the Haters. SHe was a smooth elf was she not? It was pandemonium, and a slice of the leg wouldn't seem weird in all of the chaos. Jiana looked at Raqueal. She mindspoke to him. "Follow my lead." She took out a small dagger and hid it in her palm.

| manysidestome "I can see what you do, my eyes don't have to be together when they glow, I can observe one thing while keeping an eye on my opponent as well," Marcus said. "Just in case you want to take advantage of the chaos, I'll have one eye on you two." He wasn't sure if he could do it actually, but they didn't need to know that.
Georgie Tobi blinked at her, the grin still plastered on her face. "Alice, Alice Alice..." She said in a hushed tone. "To think I believed you for as long as I did..." Her eyes flashed and Tobi suddenly felt her knees weaken. It was to begin soon, her transformation and there was nothing she could do. Except complete her task quickly.
"I can't believe I fell for it. For your stupid little act." She spat, anger pulsing through her voice, dripping from each syllable as she moved forward, closer to Alice's face.
Casey Jewels Thomas took off into the air, his eyes searching frantically for any sign of the Hater. He had to find Jason, before it was too late. He glanced towards Alice, but saw that Tobi was with her, so he turned his attention elsewhere. He figured that Alice would be safe enough with Tobi there to help fight off the enemy.
"Where are you?" he whispered slowly as he flew around in a wide circle, desperately searching for Jason.
iamkatara Rachel rolled her eyes as she sliced into someone's leg. She didn't want to fight, but the more she helped the Unwanted, the quicker this would get back to close to normal. He didn't say anything, which helped her. She hoped Marcus didn't notice.
Plaguewalker Dorjee looked about quickly, momentarily shocked by what had happened. Why wasn't I told? Dammit! He moved through the panic-stricken crowd, looking for another Unwanted. Soon, he found himself face to face with 5 haters. "He's one of them, I'm sure of it!" One cried, as the others looked at him with hate filled eyes. Perfect.
Fire Lord "Do you see it, Thomas?" came Jason's voice.
It was not a yell, more like a whisper, but it reached the flying Thomas' ears like a breeze. No one else in the room heard it, as if it were meant solely for Thomas. Moving around the top of the room was a walkway that was apart of the second floor of the school. It allowed people on the second floor to see down below where the stage was. The people on it could not be seen by the people below, but since Thomas flew above, he could.
Jason stood at one end of the walkway, his back towards the fight below and his eyes looking up at a large window that reflected the darkned night outside.
"Do you see it? The new society that is being made. The justice that is being delievered."
He finally turned his head away from the window to look up at the flying Thomas. His eyes were...determined, and sharp, and there was almost a hint of dissaproval as if Thomas were his son that had lied to him or performed an evil deed.
Casey Jewels Thomas spun around to face Jason, anger and mistrust in his eyes. "And to think that I almost trusted you," he growled at the Hater. His voice was also low, but he knew that Jason would be able to hear it. He flew a little closer to the boy and then paused, unsure of what exactly to do. He wanted to make this boy pay for everything that he had done, for all of the lies that he had fed everyone, for all of the hurt that he had caused, but yet...
The Unwanted couldn't strike, not yet. "Why?" he asked and gestured at the scene below them, but his eyes never left Jason's. "Why do you feel the need to hurt the innocent? Is that what justice is to you? Hurting others just because they're different from you?" He shook his head. "No, Jason, I don't see."
Fire Lord "Then you are blind," said Jason, fully turning to face Thomas.
"Is that all you see here? The Hater's as delievers of pain? I am sincere when I say that I protect those smaller and younger than me. You, or any of the Unwanted, have never been in my place. You do not hear their cries of sorrow when people poke fun at them or beat them up for no reason!"
Jason shook his head.
"They're just kids, and yet they're made fun of, picked on because of meaningless details. That is why the Haters were created. To erase all indifference. To make everyone the same as the other. Because if everyone is the same, then no one will be the victim. The Unwanted are a disease. They seek to create individualism, promote difference. The single thing those that I protect tell me is that they simply want to be just like everybody else. And you Unwanted seek to take that away from them!"
Jason's eyes widened.
"I do not hurt the innocent! I despatch righteous judgement on those that seek to make other's suffer! I am justice!"
Casey Jewels "You're mad," Thomas whispered, his eyes wide. Then they narrowed with determination and he flew up a little higher. "No, not just mad. You're insane! And if this is the only way to stop you..., so be it."
He didn't think, he simply acted. His body tilted slightly and his wings moved in close to his body. Then he dived, heading straight for Jason. The Hater would not survive the night. Of that, he was certain.
TokoToTheEnd Alice was taken aback. She didn't understand what Tobi was talking about.
"I don't know what you mean." ----------------------- Peace decided that she had to get to her sister. Making her way to the stage, Peace was knocked over. Then she blacked out as an Unwanted hit her over the head. He, called out to another, both getting ready to kill Peace.
"You'll pay Haters!! This time we shed your blood."
manysidestome Marcus's eyes caught Peace, and he watched her go toward the stage. He then saw her get knocked out and he cried out, and ran over to them, stopping in front of the two Unwanted, eyes glowing red. "No, it's you who will die! In your own madness," he shouted, and his eyes shot out a spell, directly into their own eyes. He had the ability to project horrible images to others, when he wanted them to suffer, and he really wanted these two to suffer. He still didn't understand it, but Peace was something special, something he didn't want to die without himself going first.
iamkatara Rachel saw the Unwanted up on stage, standing over Peace. She didn't know what to do. She needed to find Faith. She saw her in the wings crying and didn't know what to do. She decided to leave her and ran back to Raqueal. "We need to get out of here."
TokoToTheEnd Peace tried to regained conscious. Opening her eyes slowly she saw Marcus and smiled at him, but then the smile faded as another Unwanted came at him from behind.
"Watch out," she yelled hoping it wasn't too late.
manysidestome "Wha-" Marcus said as the unwanted impaled him in his back, and his eyes bugged out, and blood filled his mouth. He felt the object in his back leave, and he fell backward, beside Peace, blood pouring from his back and mouth. His eyes seemed to be moving between glowing red and their normal color, and his breath was labored. "P..Peace," he whispered. "...Peace... cleanse... this school... for the haters... for your sister... for..." but he blacked out before he could finish it. He would never awaken again, and his eyes would forever remain blue.
TokoToTheEnd Peace was in shock of what happened. She crawled over to Marcus. The Unwanted member too in shock to do anything. Peace put Marcus's limp head in her lap and ran her fingers through his hair.
"I promise I will cleanse the school. For you."
She kissed the top of his head and stood, shaking. The Unwanted member was focused again and came at her, but Peace didn't let him get too far. She jabbed him in the stomach and while he was leaning over, took his weapon and impaled him.
manysidestome Raqueal watched the whole event, and looked back to Rachel running to him. "I know we do," he said. "The problem is all the exits blocked. One obstacle is gone though, the person watching us has died." He felt a little bad about saying it like it was casual, he did care for life, but there were other pressing matters to think of.
iamkatara Rachel looked around. "We need to think of a way to get out of here." She then thought of something. "Can an elf control the earth as well as be in touch with it?"
Fire Lord Jason's eyes narrowed and held his arm towards flying Thomas. A blast of fear toxin was shot into the air in the path of the diving Unwanted.
"Insane? No! You just can't bear to accept that your ideals hurt other people! People you never even considered! You simply listened to Alice and assumed that the Unwanted were for the better good. When in reality, it is the Unwanted that hurt the innocent while the Hater's promote peace!"
Casey Jewels Thomas attempted to halt his dive, suddenly unsure of everything. But he couldn't stop fast enough and slammed into the walkway, inches away from Jason. He let out a low groan and quickly picked himself up, backing away as he did so.
"No," he whispered and shook his head, trying to fight past all of the fear and the uncertainty that had rushed over him at the Hater's words. "I haven't hurt anyone!" he said and took another step back. He's wrong! "Alice would never!"
Alice... He pulled his wings in, keeping his eyes on Jason. He couldn't look away now. Alice would only distract him. But..., what if she was in trouble? What if she need him at this very second? "N-no," he repeated, but this time he couldn't keep the fear he felt hidden away.
Georgie "Don't act stupid to me!" Tobi spat - her voicing crackling with the husky growl that her wolf-self brought. "I know why you pretended to like me, be my best friend when I needed someone! You are EVIL, Scarecrow!" Tobi shouted, her voice echoing through the hall.
Tobi could feel her former self slipping into the dark abyss of her curse - her eyes flickered, her body trembled and her teeth began to ache. It was happening.
"And... I... I am here to finish it." Tobi growled, her bones creaking agonisingly as they began to expand. "You are finished, Scarecrow." Tobi lunged at Alice, her eyes wild as she could sense the full moon rising.
Fire Lord Jason took a step forward, shaking his head.
"Yes you have! All you Unwanted have!"
He glared at Thomas with wide, anger filled eyes.
"You Unwanted claim to protect the innocent, to stand up for everyone. If you spent one day in my shoes you were think just as I do. The ones I protect tell me more than they do you. If you could hear them! Jason, why do they pick on me? Jason, why can't they just accept me for who I am?! Jason, why can't I just be like everybody else!?"
He raised his arm and pointed it at Thomas.
"But you, Thomas, are blind and deaf. You listen only to Alice, who's bound by the false beliefs of her predecesor; and Feugar, who only cares about satisfying his own honor and killing Haters without even considering what they are trying to do!"
manysidestome Fuegar reached the stage, looking up at the battle between Tobi and Alice that was about to begin. He was confident in Alice, more confident that she could subdue Tobi than Tobi killing her. Still, he was there, should things go awry, but he doubted Alice would need him. Thomas might need him, but there wasn't much he could do about that now, considering he couldn't find either of them among the chaos.
"I don't know, I've never tried it, the most I've discovered is fire power," Raqueal said. "Try it though, you may have an affinity for earth more than fire or anything else."
iamkatara Rachel nodded. She focused her self near a outer wall. She though about vines coming through the floor, trees crashing through the wall. They wouldn't be thick. She opened her eyes and they started glowing. "Raqueal, I think this is it." She focused her new power on the wall, and suddenly vines came crashing through, breaking the concrete itself. When the deed was done, her eyes went back to normal, and she looked at Raqueal. "I did it. I really did it." She smiled and then climbed through the hole into the open air. She turned back. "Everyone! This way!" She wanted to get all these innocents out. They didn't have to get caught in this.
Casey Jewels Thomas heard the shouts, but, in the state he was in, failed to recognize them as Tobi's. All of his engery was focused on Jason at this point, and the things he was saying.
"Blind and deaf, am I?" he growled, suddenly sick of it--sick of Jason and his words. "They care for me! They would die for me! As I would for them..." Then he saw it, out of the corner of his eye--Tobi's lunge. Alice...
The Unwanted spread out his wings for flight and nearly turned his back on Jason, but then paused. He glanced back and forth--Alice to Jason to Alice to Jason. He could either go to Alice's rescue and lose his chance at taking Jason down. Or he could take Jason down and hope that Alice could handle herself long enough.
He bit his lip, and then tucked his wings back in. "They are my friends," he said simply and took a step towards the Hater. "I don't recall you trying to help me at all, on my first day here. It was Alice that did. She's the one who helped me out. She's the one who, when I'm with her, makes me feel proud of what I am. You may not realize it, Jason, but those silly, little questions that you just recited off... those were questions that I asked myself not very long ago. But now..., now none of it matters. I have friends now. Real friends. And that's all I'll ever need."
He took another step towards Jason, his entire body quivering with anticipation for the fight that he knew was going to come.
Plaguewalker Dorjee panted, his eyes flicking back and forth from the numerous Haters that sourounded him. There were simply too many for him to handle, especially in this form. He couldn't risk letting the demon out though, not with all the innocents about. In the back of his mind, he could hear what Tobi was saying, knew what she was doing, but he was unwilling to face it.

| Fire Lord Jason's eyes widened and he let out a laugh, grinning from to ear to ear.
"Friends?! That's your protection?!"
He kept his arm pointed at Thomas.
"You mean the fools that fall victim to their pride, lust, sorrow and despair?! They are the spreaders of injustice. They will send you to damnation! You are blind because you can not see the logic right before your eyes! The Haters shall cleanse all difference, unify all of existence, and turn society into a bright and shining utopia! I will enact righteous judement on those that stand in the way of true justice! Stand at my side, Thomas, or fall broken at my feet!"
Casey Jewels "Jason, I... I trusted you! You fed me lies and I believed them! Luckily, I have a good friend who can see straight through you. And you proved him right when you attacked me!"
He took another step closer to the Hater. Then, with a quick glance around, realized that the Haters were winning. He studied the battle for a few more seconds, and then looked back at Jason.
"Alright," he said, his voice carrying with it an undertone of defeat. "So if I switch sides..., what then?" His voice grew stronger once more. "Not only will I be betraying my friends, I'll be betraying myself. And one of the things I hate most in this cruel, cold world is a traitor. My life isn't worth it."
His eyes narrowed, targeting onto Jason's heart, if he had such a thing. "This ends now. You end now!"
The Unwanted rushed forward, his fingernails lengthening into claws. And those claws were aimed straight for his enemies chest.
Fire Lord A blast of Jason's toxin errupted from outstretched sleeve and directly in the path of the charging Thomas.
"True, I lied to you Thomas, but only as much as you lied to me. And even then, there were certain...things that I didn't lie about."
Casey Jewels Thomas saw the toxin, but didn't have enough time to stop. So he just bent down low and quickened his pace. "Shut up!" he roared at the Hater. "Just shut up!"
I'm tired of it all. Your words. Your lies. The way you manipulated me, and everyone else. I'm tired of it all. His left eye watered as he came into contact with the toxin, but still he kept running. If he went down, he was at least taking Jason with him.
TokoToTheEnd Alice didn't try to move out of the way. She soaked in Tobi's words and knew now what was going on. Allowing Tobi to strike her, Alice thought fast of a way to save her friend....to save everyone.
"Tobi listen to me, I am no the Scarecrow. How would that even be possible?"
manysidestome
IC: Raqueal watched as some of the students were escaping through the hole in the wall. What would become of them past it, he didn't know, but hoped they would be ok. This was what he hated most about humans, they could always endanger the innocent with their stupid wars. It sickened him, and more than ever, he longed for the company of other elves.
Fire Lord Jason spun on his feet siezing Thomas' wrists and halting his attack.
"I lied to you about who I was, that much is true. But I didn't lie when I said you were my friend."
A blast of toxin errupted from from Jason's sleeve and shot through Thomas' face.
"You, Alice, Tobi, Dorjee, Feugar, Faith, Rachel, all the Unwanted, are my friends. Thomas, what you have just inhaled is what I call my "fear toxin". It stimulates your senses to a point that is overwhelms your ability to distinguish them. Your fears are magnified to a point that drives you into insanity."
He shook his head slightly.
"You are my friend, Thomas. However, you are Unwanted; and as you've probably guessed by now...I am Scarecrow."
Casey Jewels Thomas attempted to pull back from Jason, but the boy's grip was just too strong. "You're... You're..." His eyes widened in absolute terror as the toxin took effect. His entire thought process seemed to crash to a halt.
"Alice," he whispered and glanced her way. His struggles against Jason increased at the sight of her, as he couldn't help but imagine scene after scene of something bad happening to her.
He turned back to face Jason and, once again, scene after scene came to mind. And none of the scenarios were good ones. The Unwanted finally collasped onto his knees, unable to stay upright any longer. "Why?" he whispered, his entire body shaking with the fear he felt. "I still don't..."
iamkatara Rachel turned to Raqueal. "Are you ready to leave here?" She looked at him with love. Whatever he wanted to do, she would follow. He would never do anything that would endanger them both. He was too truthful.
manysidestome "...I don't think we can leave yet," Raqueal said. "There are still too many innocents in here, ones that have fallen. We need to get them out of here, we need to get them to safety. Those who fight, I don't care for, but those who didn't want this, had no part in it, we can't leave." He looked at her and said, "I won't make you stay if you want to go, but I can't."
iamkatara Jiana nodded. "It's ok. I'm an Unwanted, and I should be helping saving these people. Let's help them." She went over to a first year in the corner, a girl much like herslef when she came to the "school" and picked her up. "Go out this way. Run to the fence and find the door. It should be open in a time like this." She smiled at her and led her out before coming back in. "I have to fight Raqueal. It's the only sure way of keeping these people safe." She looked him in the eye. "Are you ok with me fighting?"
manysidestome "No, I could never be ok with you fighting, but I have no right to stop you. I'll do what I can as well, but I won't be watching you, I couldn't concentrate if I saw you fighting, I'd get too worried. If you need me, call, and I'll be there," Raqueal responded. He wished she wouldn't fight, that she would go somewhere safe, but he couldn't ask her to do that if she didn't want to.
iamkatara Rachel nodded and kissed him on the cheek. "I'll be fine." She turned and looked at the Haters. She wasn't going to kill them, but wound them so they can't fight. She took out swords she had stashed away, and started slashing at the Haters. She hit their arms and legs, nothing fatal. After all, they were still kids. She turned and twisted, in beat with her elfish strength and stamina. When she was finished, at least 20 Haters were on the ground, writing in pain. Rachel turned to Raqueal where he was. She hoped he didn't watch.
Fire Lord "Why have I done this?" asked Jason, looking up at the celing and away from the cowering Thomas.
"Why would do this if I considered you all my friends? The answer is simple."
In a flash Jason pulled out a burlap mask and secured it over his head. In less than a second he was bending down, the face of Scarecrow staring wide eyed into Thomas.
"It's because unlike you, I was able to truely grasp who I am!"
Under the effects of the toxin the mask came alive, spilling maggots from its eye sockets and worms crawling from it's mouth.
"You were unable to free youself from the side of you that is Unwanted. You might be Jason's friend, but you are Scarecrow's enemy. Therefore you face righteous judgment and suffer the fate of true justice! I will weigh your group's actions and decide what damnation shall befall you all!"
Scarecrow stood and quickly removed his mask. Jason stared sadly down at Thomas.
"I'm sorry it had to be this way, Thomas. Good bye...Unwanted."
Jason turned, leaving Thomas on his knees and dissapeared into the darkness.
Casey Jewels Thomas let out a soft cry at the sight of the mask--his first cry of fear for himself in... forever. But then Scarecrow was gone and Jason stood before him once more. Then Jason was gone, but Thomas' fear was not.
The Unwanted's body shook with first one sob, and then another. This fear he was feeling..., nothing could have ever prepared him for it. Even as he tried to collect his thoughts and come up with some kind of plan, the toxin worked against him. Every plan he made just seemed to involve those he loved dying, or himself getting injured badly.
"Nothing works," he muttered as he stared at the spot where he had lost sight of Jason. He opened his mouth to shout something at the Hater, but couldn't come up with the courage needed to speak.
Bloody coward! a voice shouted at him from the back of his mind. Get up and fight!
But he couldn't. He couldn't even force himself to look at Alice once more, for fear that he would see something horrible. Fear had paralyzed him, making him completely and utterly useless.
manysidestome Come on Alice, you've got to win Tobi back. Otherwise, you'll have to subdue her. Jason is powerful with his persuasion, but you've got a bond, deep in there with her, you just need to make it surface, Fuegar thought. He was keeping Haters at bay when they came to attack him, but he never did more than push them away, keep them down for a few minutes before they got back up and advanced again. His attention was one Alice and Tobi.
Plaguewalker Dorjee hissed in pain, staggering away from a hater. He had brought a knife, and Dorjee had barely escaped the blade. It had cut open the side of his covers on his face, exposing the skin to the light of the room. Dammit. I can't let you loose, not with so many innocent's around.
manysidestome Raqueal ran around, jumping through the fights and picked up the innocents in the room, running back to the hole and letting them go through it. He had to be quick, at any moment something could go very wrong, and he needed to get the innocents out before it happened. He kept his eyes away from Rachel, he didn't need the distraction and worry, but he was worried all the same. Most of the little kids were crying, the older ones just looked scared. He didn't have time to comfort them, just grab and go, and they ran after getting out.

| Casey Jewels Before he had a chance to think things through, Thomas pushed himself off of the walkway. But then..., his fear got the better of him as he fell, and he didn't dare open up his wings in case they would break. So, instead, he hit the ground with a cry of pain. Owie...
The Unwanted rolled over onto his stomach, but made no move to get up. Getting up meant that he could be noticed by the enemy, and then killed or injured or something horrible. And that was one of the last things he wanted to have happen.
Georgie Tobi growled, as she swiped her fist at Alice again, making contact with her cheek. "Don't try to pull me in again! Have you no shame?! You simply wanted power!" Tobi went to lurch herself at her former best friend once more, but froze suddenly as her bones stretched agonisingly and she collapsed with a pained and husky yell. She was running out of human time.
She shakily stood, looking at Alice with bloodshot eyes. "You know what's happening to me don't you Alice? Pity, only one other knows. W-what," she gasped, her knees buckling slightly, "w-what a shame if I w-was to change right here and h-hurt so-so many..." Tobi snapped, her fingernails loosening as they grew.
Plaguewalker
No, no, no, no...don't give in. No...stay inside, don't...don't let i...t..loose Dorjee's thoughts were growing more rampant by the second, as more and more of his skin was being exposed to the light. The knife was cleaving apart his coverings, exposing more and more of his skin with each cut. Soon, he wouldn't be able to hold it back.
TokoToTheEnd "Go ahead Tobi," Alice said, getting pissed. "Kill them all, but then you're be just like all the Haters. Playing into your own selfish emotions. I would never lie to you, but if you don't believe then I won't try to make you. But I only have one question. Can you kill me?"
iamkatara
Rachel looked around for Raqueal. Finally she spotted him. "Raqueal! We need to get these people out of here faster. I don't know what to do."
Fire Lord
"Don't listen to her, Tobi!" yelled Jason's voice.
Said boy stepped onto the stage on the other side of Tobi. He had an eery feeling surrounding him, as if his presense was signaling death to everyone there. Even thought his voice and expression were destressed, his eyes were calm...dark and superior.
He pointed his hand convinctingly at Alice.
"She's trying to deceive you even now. Kill her! Strike Scarecrow down and bring justice to her crimes!"
manysidestome Fuegar saw Jason go up on the stage and make his speech, and feeling that Alice might need some backup, climbed up himself, standing beside her. "Tobi, you can try to strike her down, but your past friendship with Alice is strong in you. Even if it were fake, you still had all those genuine memories in you, and that's why you won't be able to strike Alice down, while you're yourself. As it stands though, Alice is not Scarecrow, neither is she a hater at all, and if you do try to kill her, you will find yourself unable to, one way or another." He ignored Jason for now, it wasn't worth trying to talk to him, since he would have nothing new to say, and he would still play his innocent game.
Georgie Tobi's head spun wildly around to look at Jason and Fuegar, her vision blurred as she stumbled and looked back to Alice. Her mind was scattered through a million thoughts and doubts. She wanted to show she loved Jason, to prove her faith and devotion to him... And yet, Alice... Alice was her best friend, someone she had counted on, who had cared, helped her when she was down. How could she possibly be the Scarecrow?
Confused and torn and her body riddled with agony, and threw herself onto Alice, pinning her with her hands clamped around her wrists and her eyes bore into Alices', a growl resonating in her throat as tears began to fall from her darkening eyes.
Fire Lord Jason's eyes grew wide. They were mixed with expectation and insanity and seem to almost laugh at the scene before. To have this much influence. To cause someone to willingly turn on their best friend. That was true power.
"Do you see, Alice?" thought Jason, a smile creeping on his lips.
"Do you see, Thomas? Fuegar?! Dorjee?! All of you Unwanted?! It's over! I will deliver righteous judgement upon all that stand in my way! I represent peace and justice for all individuals; and those that dare fight against that justice are the ones that truely deserve to die!"
"Do it Tobi!" yelled Jason, his face nearly estatic with an digusting happiness at the horror of the scene before him.
"Show her true justice!"
manysidestome
Fuegar looked over at Jason, expressing no emotion at him. "Yes Tobi, hurt the person who helped you when you were down, who was the only shoulder you could cry on. Go on ahead and deliver 'justice' to the only person who ever gave you the time of day around here, and turn your back on the others who now care about you," he said. "Listen to the guy who's trying to turn you on your best friend and everything you once believed in." He stared right as Jason, into what looked like a true demon's gaze. "Listen to this monster, who's more suited to being a demon than I am."
Georgie Tobi howled in frustration and pain, the emotions conflicting within her. Her bones were quaking, stretching and her muscules were spasming. She looked at Alice, her eyes wild as her tossed with her voilent jerks. You're running out of time... Make your decision...
Tobi remembered the days when she and Alice walked through the forest, smiling and laughing. She remembered the first time she saw Jason, how her heart had leapt. She remembered crying into Alice's shoulder when her parents' letter never came. She remembered watching Jason walk past her, and how her knees had shook.
Tobi wondered if her passing from this world would just be easier as the voices of her friends floated in her mind. Show her true justice!... Could you kill me?... Tobi cried out in anguish, not wanting to listen as she listened to the two boys.
She would have to choose and choose quickly.
Casey Jewels
Fight it, Thomas. Fight it! Think of Alice! Image after image of a hurt, dead, dying Alice flashed through his head, and he let out a sob. Never mind. Bad idea. But, try as he might, he couldn't seem to think about anything else.
His body thrashed about, even as he fought with himself and his many fears. He had to save Alice, he just had too. But..., he was too scared to look at her, so running over to her was out of the question.
His sharp ears caught Jason's words, and a low growl issued from his throat. If Alice died because of Jason and his lies... Thomas started to turn towards the stage, but then his fears came crashing back down once again. His thrashings grew even stronger, as the battle against his fears escalated. And it didn't help at all that all of his walls were tumbling down, allowing memories to come swarming over him.
He had always been alone--a loner. Even among others like him, he felt so alone. But then Alice... But she wouldn't be around much longer. And he would be alone once more. And maybe that final blow would finally be enough to push him over the edge. Maybe it would finally make him pull the trigger, instead of just pressing the gun against his forehead. Then everything would be all over.
But if that happened..., than Jason--Scarecrow--would win. But he was going to win anyways. The boy had so many plans, and he had spun his web of lies so well... And after he took care of Alice... Then he, Thomas, would probably be Jason's next victim. Then he, Thomas, would die. He couldn't let that happen, he just couldn't! But yet..., it was happening. And he could do nothing to stop it.
Or there was a chance that Jason would let him live. No, not let him. Jason would force him to live. That was the worst thing that could happen--living on while Alice was no more. And everyone would just deem him as crazy if he tried to tell them who Jason really was. They would just blame it on the trauma of losing Alice. And the teasing would just grow worse. And he would never be able to let it end, for Jason would be watching.
He just couldn't let any of that happen. But yet..., still he remained completely powerless to his fears. And still he thrashed about, in more pain than he had ever been before in his life. And all the while, Alice was getting closer and closer to dying.
Plaguewalker "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
The twisted laughter filled the hall, followed promptly by the body of hater soaring across the room. Dorjee, or what was normally Dorjee, roared with laughter, his pure red eyes alight with dark delight. Another hater attacked him, only to be promptly kicked through a wall. "I haven't had this much fun in years! I really need to get out more!" A kick punch floored another hater, before a powerful kick to the head put him out.
The demon looked to the stage, still laughing. "Well, well, well. If I'm not mistaken, it's almost time for the big change, ain't it Tobi? Bet that'll be fun, tearing everyone in this room to shreds. Bet no has every had to fight a werewolf before. It'll be great fun to watch." Inside, Dorjee cursed at the demon using every swear in his vocabulary.
Georgie
Tobi heard the voice speak and gasped as it revealed to the room exactly what was happening to her, exactly what she was. Her head snapped up and she saw Dorjee... Or what was once Dorjee, but was now demonised. She growled, her eyes narrowed as the pupils dialated and her bones groaned as they stretched in a painfully slow motion.
She swallowed, looked down at Alice, over at Jason, Fuegar and then to Dorjee. Her mind was a blur - all reason and common sense dissolved into the bloodthirsty thoughts of her beast-self. Her entire body shook, hot flushes passed across her skin as her breathing grew more erratic as she let out a scream mingled with a throaty roar.
Time's up.
Fire Lord
The darkness on Jason's face seemed to suck the life of the surrounding area. His eyes were insane and superior, his lips in an arrogant smirk.
"What's wrong, Alice?" he thought to himself, his smile widening as he did so.
"Where's your confidence?! Your self-absorbed talk now?! Do you Unwanted see? I have won! Can you not see my power?! I will have desroyed the Unwanted while still remaining innocent Jason."
"Kill her, Tobi!" yelled Jason, smiling wide as his insanity leaked out onto his face.
"Kill Scarecrow! End the evil of the Haters' once and for all!"
manysidestome
"Well, this is unprecedented," Fuegar noted, looking at Dorjee in his possessed demon form, and now at Tobi, who was changing. He had noticed the change, but it hadn't been what he was concentrating on. "Well, if we're all revealing ourselves, I'll just make myself known." He put his hands together and let power course through him, dropping his human guise and standing taller than ever, horns gleaming, wings unfurled, fangs hanging out of his mouth, long claws on hands and feet, as a fully matured demon. His eyes glowed red now, and stared into Tobi's. He would fight her if necesarry, to protect Alice, she was needed more than he was. He couldn't tell if anyone had even seen him, amidst the other chaos, but that didn't concern him at the moment anyway.
"I know we need to get them out faster, but let's face it, it's not possible. I can't go any faster than the rate I'm going now, and it's not enough. Even if you helped, it wouldn't be enough. They're just too many, even if some are going on their own," Raqueal said. "The best thing we can do is end this war now, or just keep getting them out slowly."
Plaguewalker "Fuegar was it? I'm afraid you won't be fighting Tobi today, nor her terriable inner-self. No, that privlage is for me, and no one else. I mean, she trusted me over her lover boy, so I think I deserve that much." Dorjee casually walked towards the stage, smashing anyone, Unwanted or Hater, aside as he went.
Georgie Tobi could feel her former self slipping away as she glared down at Alice, her eyes wide and mouth ajar, revealing her shaping jaws as she bit down on her lip as a last ditch effort to fight the agonising transformation. But, as she knew from much experience, resistance was futile. She heard Jason's voice echo through her ears and there was a strange twist upon his voice now - it was crueler, smoother. Doubt sprang into her mind just as she felt another stretch of her bones.
She howled, and threw herself off Alice, growling at her roughly as her bones began to shape violently and the sound of splitting skin tore through the hall. She could hear screams around her, as her mind blurred and thudded in her ears.
There was loud shattering snaps as her bones began to break into position and Tobi roared in pain, tears spilling from her eyes as she bit into her lip again, drawing blood with her sharpened teeth. Her clothes and skin stretched, tore as the glistening white fur began to run across her body like a bloodied carpet.
manysidestome "Fine Dorjee, if you want to fight her, you can. I'll step in if it goes too far though, and trust me, you don't want to see a real demon fight you," Fuegar said in a voice that was unaturally deep, but was still his. At least Alice would probably be safe, so that was cleared from his mind. Jason was still there though, and he doubted he'd just stand by as things unfolded, though whether he would be in the thick of it or off to the side was questionable.
TokoToTheEnd Alice sat up, panting. She wasn't sure of what was going on, but she was glad that Tobi did not hurt her. But it wasn't over. Looking at Jason, Alice knew he had to fall if this fight was to end. Alice stood, gathering her strength, readying herself to fight him. ------------- Peace watched the stage, silently. They were so close to Faith, but they didn't seem like they even remembered she existed. No only Peace her twin sister did. But then Peace looked over to the boy, she heard was Fuegar. The boy Faith loved. Did he remember her sister was still here, anoung the choas? An innocent girl. ------------ Faith stopped crying and looked up in a daze. There was no one backstage with her. She was alone.
But Faith wasn't alone. She could heard noises out in front and some of them scared her. Taking a deep breath, she stood, wondering what lied on the other side of the curtain.
Casey Jewels "No," Thomas croaked and slowly forced himself to face the stage--to face Dorjee, and Fuegar, and Alice, and..., Scarecrow. He had to protect Alice, he just had too, but...
He squeezed his eyes tightly shut, and bit down hard on his lip, drawing blood. Move! Dang it! he growled at himself, but still he couldn't. The fears..., they were just too much... too many. He was going to lose her. He was going to lose the only person he had ever truly... loved. And all because of his fears.
But that thought didn't help at all in fighting them off. No, they just continued to plague him. Scene after scene continued to flash right before his eyes. And, through it all, he could hear Scarecrow laughing at him. No, it wasn't just Scarecrow. It was everyone that had ever made fun of him. They were all there; they were all laughingn at him. But Scarecrow's was the loudest and the most horrible.
He had lost, and they all knew it. He, Thomas Chrusto, had failed. Scarecrow had bested him. Scarecrow... The Unwanted whimpered as the image of the mask flashed before his eyes, and he felt slightly sick. And then... There was Alice--a dead Alice. And Jason stood over her, his laughter growing stronger and stronger.
That's when a small bit of rage flared up inside of Thomas--a rage like he had never known before. He was angry. Angry at the teachers for not doing anything about all of this. Angry at the people that had hurt him all of his life. Angry at Tobi for even considering hurting one of her best friends. Angry at Fuegar for not being there when Thomas needed him most. Angry at Jason for hurting those he loved. But mostly angry at himself, for not being strong enough to protect Alice.
TokoToTheEnd Alice heard a voice, but it was very weak. She looked over to the end of the stage and then walked over to it, now seeing Thomas. Concerned she went to his side and tried to figure out what was wrong with him.
Over the years, Alice never really thought Thomas was a very important member of the Unwanted. Of course he was a good fighter and everything and he did prove himself, he wasn't at the same value that Alice held Fuegar or Tobi in. But now Alice realized that she did value Thomas before. She just didn't realize it before now because she was always too busy inside her own head or trying to prove herself as leader of the Unwanted. Alice felt a tear come to her eye. She didn't want Thomas to die. She couldn't lose him.
"Thomas what is wrong?"
Casey Jewels Thomas shook his head, unable to speak. What if she didn't believe him? What if speaking would just draw unwanted attention to them? What if she rejected his love for her? What if...?
A trembling hand reached out and latched onto Alice's wrist, holding onto her tight enough to hurt. He didn't mean to hold onto her that tightly, but... he couldn't seem to loosen his grip at all. If he let go..., he might lose her for forever.
"Al..." He let out a sob and turned his head away from her, unable to speak.
TokoToTheEnd Alice whinced a little when Thomas grabbed her wrist, but she was strong enough to ignore it. Alice was also good at ignoring pain, but that was another story. She frowned, her face taking on the same grimace it always wore, only her eyes were filled with concern for Thomas. She was confused too.
"Please tell me what's wrong."

| Fire Lord (I guess we're just saying Thomas crawled down to the stage somehow)
Jason wrapped his arm around Alice's shoulders, and the cold touch of steel was pressed against her neck. Jason rested the blade of the knife on her skin, the slightest wrong move on either of their parts would result in Alice's throat being slit.
He pulled her from Thomas' grasp, knocking the weakned Unwanted's hand away.
A slow high pitched chuckle came from Jason's lips, keeping his mouth close to Alice's ear.
"Do you see it, Alice?" he asked, his voice barely containing his laughter and insanity as he whispered into her ear.
"I've barely raised a finger, and already your Unwanted are fighting amongst themselves. I am the god of justice, deliver of righteous judgement."
He slammed his foot down onto Thomas' neck, while pressing the blade closer to her own.
"Come now, Alice. Show me your fear."
He tilted her head down to watch as he put pressure onto Thomas' neck, threatening to break it in two.
"Show me your terror. You're going to watch him die, Alice; and then, justice will fall onto you as well."
TokoToTheEnd Alice's first impluse was to cry out, but she resisted. It would do her no good if she gave into Jason. The end result would still be the same.
"Justice? Killing people, causing fear is justice? I guess it must have a new meaning."
Alice looked at Thomas, fear in her eyes. She was really worried. She knew Jason wouldn't hesitate to kill him. It was something that scared her about him.
Casey Jewels (I assumed that she had jumped off of the stage to get to Thomas, but that works as well.)
Thomas cried out at the intense pain in his neck, but he didn't try to free himself at all from the weight that rested there. Struggling would only end up getting both himself and Alice hurt. He knew that it would. But...
He bit his lip, thinking hard. They were both going to die if he didn't do something fast. But yet, doing something would only quicken their deaths. Unless...
Unless what? Thomas asked himself in irritation, even as he continued his struggles with his fears. His body continued to thrash about, but not quite as badly as before, for moving too much would just get his neck snapped.
And then that anger he had felt before began to blossom, giving him strength. His hand clamped around Jason's ankle, but he couldn't tug--not yet. The fear was still too great for that.
"No," he whispered, his voice a little uncertain. "I refuse..." He looked up at Alice, and his anger grew even stronger as he saw the knife against her throat. But the fear had risen up at the sight as well, so still he didn't tug. But his grip tightened, and his eyes narrowed ever so slightly.
Fire Lord Jason looked down in slight surprise, faltering for only a moment.
"Look Thomas," he said, pushing Alice's head up to reveal her neck.
"You're going to watch, and know from this moment on, that you did nothing to stop it."
Jason tightening his arm that the knife, preparing to slice it fataly across Alice's neck.
"Alice; leader of the Unwanted, I pass my judgement."
manysidestome "Your judgement, Jason, will be met with ours as well," Fuegar said, looking straight at Jason again. "If you had any deceny I would appeal to that, but that is not the case." He knew that Thomas was the only one who could reach them in time to stop Jason, but he wasn't the only one who could reach Jason after he killed her. He would get rid of Jason if he killed Alice, he was so tired of the demented person Jason was.
Georgie Tobi looked up, her body broken and torn as the furred curse surfaced upon her and she transformed fully into the beast. There she stood - upon four feet, a massive white wolf whose mouth and jaws were stained in blood.
She roared roughly, snarling as she looked at Jason and Alice, her ice-blue eyes wide and shot with bloody viens. She noticed the knife in Jason's hand, holding Alice and something within her snapped. Was he going to kill her... After he'd begged her to kill Alice herself? Despite her beast-like traits now, she could retain a few moments of human-conciousness, but only for a few minutes. She growled, and ran at Jason - fury and bloodlust pulsating through her body with waves of lava.
Plaguewalker
With a smile, Dorjee smashed into Tobi's wolfen side. The demon grinned madly at the lycan, cracking his knuckles. "Come on, wolfie. It's play time." The demon laughed again, before charging at the werewolf.
Georgie
Tobi hit the ground hard, skidding across the waxen floor as she scrambled to her paws, snarling viciously, saliva dripping from her jaws. She leapt at Dorjee's Demon form, driving her front paws into his chest with a strenous force, snapping at his neck with her powerful jaws.
Plaguewalker The demon grinned, the pain only spurring him on. He pulled his head away from the snapping jaws of the wolf, before grabbing onto both side of the powerful jaws. His eyes locked with the wolf's breifly, before he began to squeeze the jaw with his powerful hands.
Casey Jewels "No!" Thomas roared and, throwing all caution and fear to the wind, tugged hard on Jason's leg. In the same instant, he thrust his wings open, slamming them both into Jason's back.
He wasn't sure if this was helping or harming Alice, but he couldn't just stand by and do nothing. Not anymore. And if Alice died because of his actions..., then he would make sure that Jason was taken down too. Even if it cost him his life.
Georgie Tobi looked into Dorjee's eyes for a moment, her mind a blurr of bloodthirst and murder and for some strange reason, Alice. She yelped peircingly as he squeezed her jaws and flung her paws into his chest again, ripping into the thickened, darkened skin and struggled from his grasp around her sensative snout.
manysidestome Oh who do I go to? Thomas might have Jason handled, but he is a huge threat. On the other hand, Tobi and Dorjee could kill each other now, and just when Tobi seemed to be on the right track, Dorjee has ruined it, so I could get between them, Fuegar thought. This was a delicate situation, adding himself to the equation could bring it tumbling down. What was he supposed to do? It was like the colony all over again, he was useless, and didn't fit into any part of this fight that would make a difference.
"Wait, I've just had an idea," Raqueal said to Rachel. "If it doesn't work, I've killed us all, so don't be afraid to hate me if things go bad." He dashed off to the stage and jumped up, standing behind Fuegar. "Demon, I know what you can become, I stopped you last time you became fire," he said. Fuegar turned around, looking down at the elf. "Your point," Fuegar asked. "Your power is great, but it's unfocused, but I focus fire to will. I can control you in that form, and we can stop this fight now." Fuegar looked down at him thinking, and asked, "you can control that power?" Raqueal nodded and Fuegar sighed. "I'll trust your judgement, since I do owe you for stopping me earlier." He waited for nothing before unblocking his emotions, letting all his frustruation and anger explode, until he became a monster himself, and just as he was about to attack Raqueal, he howled with pain, and started to change. His body turned to flame once more, and the unwanted symbol stood out plainly on the burning chest. Raqueal acted quickly, using all the power he had into controling the fire. It was several harsh moments, while Fuegar tried to break out of the control and Raqueal tried to get a hold on the demon, and eventually, Raqueal succeeded. "Good demon, now let's go scare some unwanted and haters," he said, forcing Fuegar off the stage and stepping into the audience, howling with rage and pain, as he went after both sides, swinging arms and igniting anything in his path.

| Here's pages 56-60.
Plaguewalker The demon staggered back, not liking the claws in his chest. He released Tobi's jaw, narrowing his red eyes. Stop! I won't let you hurt her! I'm in control, kid, not you. Shut up and let me fight. No! Give me control! The demon's skin flickered red,as he hissed in pain. "Stop it kid! Doing that could kill us both!" I don't care! Give me control!
Fire Lord Jason felt the knife slip from his hand as the force of Thomas' wings threw him across the stage. He rolled to the ground, ending up back on his feet while staring in disbelief at Thomas.
"What..." he murmured.
He looked from side to side, taking in the situation in an instant. He chuckled slightly, pulling the mask of Scarecrow out and pulling it over his head. His eyes seemed to gain a darkened glow as he looked on with an incredible sense of superiority.
"There's no need for me to fight. Fuegar, Dorjee, and Tobi will destroy everyone, even the Unwanted."
He caught a familiar face and yelled out to her.
"Peace! With me!"
He motioned for her to follow and walked to a flight of metal stairs that led up to the rafters above the stage.
Casey Jewels Thomas staggered to his feet and, after making sure that Alice was alright, started after Jason. Fear continued to eat at him as he walked, but anger helped to push that fear away, or at least enough away to where he could semi-function.
"No more," he hissed at Jason. Then he continued on, finding courage in speaking. "No more lies. No more using others. No more hurting others. No more killing the innocent." His body shook a little as a tremor of fear washed over him, but still he continued walked. "No more!"
Georgie Tobi fell to the ground, quickly scrambling to her paws again, growling deeply at Dorjee as her humanity began to slip away for good. Her cobalt eyes met his ruby ones and she paused a moment, still growling with her back arched and fur raised defensively. She eyed his leg and ran at him, snapping violently at his ankles-
She heard a scream behind her, and turned inelegantly, grinding her claws along the wooden floor, etching deep scratches into the polished wood. Her icy eyes found the source of the scream - a small girl, hiding behind a row of overturned chairs. Tobi's upper jaw lifted in a throaty growl, teeth bared as she leapt from the stage and raced at the girl, who screamed again, watching in horror as this beast raced toward her.
manysidestome Raqueal saw Tobi running at a defenseless girl, and quickly moved Fuegar between them. He roared in agony, something inhuman, and stood waiting to catch Tobi. That would also cause her to ignite, and she could possibly burn to death, but Raqueal had very little sympathy for her now, and Fuegar was mindless.
Georgie Tobi growled as she watched Fuegar move in between herself and her prey and yet, she kept running at him. She got within moments of contact, before she swung her entire lupine body out to the left and slipped around him, snarling warningly at him for attempting to interrupt her meal. She then leapt across the overturned chairs and landed heavily in front of the crying girl, eyeing her greedily as her rough tongue raced across her bared teeth.
manysidestome Raqueal turned Fuegar around and he roared again, mad now at Tobi for evading him. Fuegar swung at her, missing by inches but flames leapt from his fist at her, and if they sparked on her, she would be up in flames in no time. Raqueal breathed in deeply, this was tough, keeping a demon in line, but he had to remain in control.
Georgie Tobi stalked towards the girl, her top-lip lifting in a soft growl. Then she felt a strangle heat close to her and she scrambled aside, looking up at Fuegar with murder written in her eyes. She roared and threw herself against the overturned chairs, shifting them between herself and him as she hurried towards the screaming girl.
iamkatara Rachel widened her eyes as Raqueal did what he did. She didn't know what to do, so she jsut stood there. He was so smooth and quick while fighting. Why hadn't she noticed that before?
manysidestome Fuegar swatted the chairs aside, running now at a pace to shame a jet. He roared and leaped into the air. He was now aiming toward Tobi, he wanted to see her go up in flame, or at least, that's the one thing he thought. Raqueal was actually allowing him to do this, though he was wishing now for some more support. Saving innocents with a monster from monsters was not something one tried alone.
iamkatara Rachel ran up next to Raqueal. "Is everything ok? What can I do to help?"
manysidestome "Go rescue that girl the monster's going for," Raqueal said. "It's hard enough trying to stop her without having to protect the girl." He wanted very much for this to end now, but first he needed to stop Tobi, then Dorjee, for they were two wild cards, and they had enough on their plates with the Unwanted and Haters. "Be careful though, don't get too near the wolf."
iamkatara Rachel nodded and turned to where the girl was laying down. She ran with lightning speed, narrowly avoid all attacks, and grabbign the girls arm. "Come with me. You need to get out of here." She picked up the girl and ushered her out the hole in the wall. "Run to the fence and then find a way out of the school. You'll be safe beyond these walls." She turned back to face Tobi, Raqueal, and Fuegar. Raqueal needed help defeating them. He couldn't do it alone.

| TokoToTheEnd Faith made her way down into the wild crowd, still not understanding what was going on. She was so confused and bewildered, that she didn't notice the Hater and Unwanted coming at her. When she did, Faith thought it was too late. She closed her eyes, readying herself for the contact. But it never came. Opening her eyes, Faith was in sheer shock at the scene that laid before her.
Peace, who was about to response to Jason's call and follow him, had seen her sister about to be attacked. She did not felt conflicted between the two. She loved her sister more than she had faith in Jason. In no time Peace threw herself in front of her twin, the Hater's weapon piecing her heart instead.
Alice, who was still trying to steady herself, also saw the two going after Faith. She had said before, to Thomas, that she could not die because of him, but that it would be to protect others. Knowing in her heart it was the right thing to do, she also threw herself in the Unwanted's way and thier weapon striked Alice deep.
Faith watched as Peace, in front of her and Alice, behind her fell to the ground. She kneeled down, looking at both, her face filled with nothing but worry-and shame.
"Peace. Alice. Are you ok?"
Peace looked weakly at her sister and shook her head. Alice did the same. Blood poured all around them, some getting on Faith, but she didn't care. She took Peace's hand, holding tight. She also took Alice's.
"No, you guys can't die. Peace I can't lose you. You're my sister, my blood. If you aren't there for me, who will be? And Alice, you're so strong. We need you to help end this fight. Don't leave me here. Both of you!!"
Peace smiled at her and Alice also had a peaceful expression on her face, the first and last one ever.
"You can end this," they both whispered to her.
"But how?" Faith was still confused. There was no way she, just a normal human, could end this fight. It truely was a war. Yet neither answered her.
"You were always the better twin-"
"Faith you are strong-"
"-I know you'll be fine without me-"
"-I know you can end this fight-"
"-Just be strong-"
"-Be careful, Faith-"
"-I love you."
"-Good luck."
And with those final words, the two girls died. Faith remained kneeling, her whole body numb. She began to cry again. For their deaths and because she was going to let them down. She couldn't put an end to this. It was impossible without them.
Casey Jewels Thomas spun around, feeling that something was wrong. His eyes widened in horror as he watched Alice be hit. "NO!!!" he roared and rushed to her aid, but he just couldn't reach her in time. His knees hit the ground beside her seconds after she had gone.
"Nonono," he mumbled as the tears came. He gazed at Alice for what felt like hours, but was only a few seconds. Then he grabbed a hold of her lifeless body and pulled her close to him. "Alice... You can't..."
He kissed her still warm lips, pleading with her all of the while to come back. And then he began to gently rock her back and forth, even as a tear--yes, a tear--trickled out of his right eye. The first tear that he had shed out of that eye in his whole life. Alice...
TokoToTheEnd Faith looked at Thomas, and frowned. She felt an impluse to hug him, but she didn't. Instead she moved to her sister, knowing Alice was in god hands and brushed the hair out of her eyes.
"Don't worry Peace," Faith's dry voice said. "I'll be ok. I'll help end this so you're death won't be in vain and if I fail....well I hope to see you again."
Fire Lord Alice's body was yanked from Thoams' arms with uneccisary force. The person responsible knocked Thomas aside with his leg, dragging Alice's body to the stage.
The laugh started as a darkened chuckle, then grew in pitch and volume as Scarecrow tilted his head back to let it rang out. It was the most disturbing and spine tingling noise heard by most, the volume and the insanity in the laugh overwhelming every voice in the room.
"DO YOU SEE?!" yelled Jason, the same insanity in his laugh bellowing forward in his voice as he held Alice's body off the ground with one hand, displaying it to the horrified faces of the Unwanted in the crowd. Peace's death seemed to have effected him less than stepping on an ant.
"DO YOU SEE YOUR LEADER?! ALICE! DO YOU UNDERSTAND NOW?!"
He threw her body the stage floor, grabbing onto his own face as his laughter become uncontrollable.
"DO YOU SEE NOW?! I AM THE GOD OF PEACE, THE BRINGER OF RIGHTEOUS JUDGEMENT!"
He kicked his Alice's body several feet across the floor, laughing even louder as his insanity became the only thing still heard.
"I AM JUSTICE!"
Plaguewalker Dorjee looked at Jason/Scarecrow, before shaking his head. "And people think I'm crazy." The demon muttered, despite Dorjee being horrified by the death. Catch Tobi, and get her out of here. Now. What? She'll tear us apart! His skin pulsed red again, as he staggered backwards. Dammit, kid! Do you have a death wish or something?
Casey Jewels Thomas snarled, his entire body trembling with the anger he felt. "Don't touch her!" he snapped as he climbed to her feet, and then jumped up onto the stage.
"Don't you dare touch her! You're not worthy of it!" Thomas spread his wings out, and his nails grew out into claws.
"This ends now, Jason!" He let out a roar of rage, which echoed throughout the building. And then he lunged at the boy, too filled with blind rage to fear him any longer.
Fire Lord Scarecrow laughed, picking up Alice's body and holding in front of him as a shield from Thomas.
"What's wrong?!" he asked, his voice shaking from the laughter barely contained within it. He grabbed Alice's lifeless head and held it steady so it face Thomas.
"Did you love her?! Did you care for her?! Well look, Thomas! She's dead! Alice's is dead! You couldn't protect her! Your love is dead! The Unwanted are dead!"
Casey Jewels Thomas slid to a halt, unable to harm Alice in any way, even if she was... gone. The tears continued to fall at the sight of her, and how Scarecrow was mistreating her body.
"Drop her," he growled and flexed his claws. "Drop her so that I can tear you to shreds!" He stepped closer to the two of them, but still didn't press the attack.
Fire Lord Scarecrow's laughter escaped from his lips once more. He thrusted his arm past Alice's body to point his sleeve at Thomas once more.
"Don't you understand, Thomas? It's over! I've won, Alice is dead. The only thing you Unwanted can do now is repent and fall to your knees. Or you will receive the same fate as your sinful leader!"
A blast of toxin shot from Jason's sleeve in Thomas' direction.
Casey Jewels Thomas stayed where he was, allowing the toxin to hit him. But it didn't seem to affect him at all. His worst fear had been for Alice to die and for him not to be able to do anything about it, which was exactly what had happened. And his second greatest fear was that he would be forced to live for the next several centuries, unable to kill himself, but unable to forgive himself as well. And that second fear still had a chance of happening, unless he did something about it.
"My fears mean nothing to me now that she is dead," he hissed, and then shot forward. He zigzaged back and forth a few times, before spinning around to Jason's unprotected back. Then he rushed forward, his claws reaching for the bare flesh of Scarcrow's neck.
Fire Lord Scarecrow wielded on the spot, his dark eyes wide in shere surprise as Thomas went through his toxin unaffected. He threw Alice's body towards his claws before jumping back several feet.
"Too bad Thomas," said Scarecrow, steadying himself with his black knife in hand.
"You and Alice could have had a great life. And you and Jason could truely have been friends."
Scarecrow laughed, holding the knife up as his mask contorted to show that he was smiling.
"But true justice must be given. If you refuse to repent your sins then I shall pass righeous judgment onto you as well."

| Plaguewalker "Not happening!"
In a blur of motion, Dorjee grabbed the body out of the air, and skidded away from the fight. The demon placed the body delicatly on the ground, silently closing her eyes. He rose and walked casually between the two of them.
"Firgured this should be a fair fight. Now, my own fight is calling. Gentlemen." He flashed Thomas a quick smile, before leaping off the stage towards Tobi.
Casey Jewels Thomas nodded at him in thanks, too filled with grief to smile back. He then started forward once more, this time with nothing to keep him from slashing Scarecrow's throat, except Scarecrow himself.
"You die now!" he snarled.
Fire Lord Scarecrow held up his knife, blocking Thomas' claws with a smirk.
"You believe you have an advantage because you are a monster?" asked Scarecrow, pushing against Thomas' claws and forcing his arms down with his knife.
"But I'm afraid that's not the case. Did you think I would not have prepared to deal with your kind? No...you're going to die, Thomas. You'll see Alice again very soon!"
Casey Jewels "See her again..." Thomas whispered with wide eyes. His heart fluttered at the thought, and he suddenly wanted to die. He slowly started to bring his arms down with his own free will, but then, as he stared back at the disgusting mask, the rage came back. Yes, he wanted to die. But no, he didn't want Scarecrow to continue to live, and hurt others.
Thomas instantly stepped back several feet, freeing up enough space for him to attack once more.
Fire Lord Scarecrow spun his blade several times around his hand before holding it at the ready.
"The amusing thing is," he said, smiling wide from beneath his mask, "that if you kill me, you won't go to where Alice has gone. Murder is a terrible sin, no matter who you are. Can you strike me down in revenge, Thomas? If you do, when the time comes for you to eventually die, you might not go where she has gone."
He chuckled.
"If she has gone there in the first place. I wouldn't put it past Alice to be burning in eternal damnation right now!"
Casey Jewels Thomas shook his head, fighting back his growing fears as best as he could. Then he rushed forward once more, his eyes locked on the knife. I'm striking down someone who has caused a lot of pain and suffering and death. That's a good thing, isn't it?
He pushed up off of the ground, flipped right over Jason, and fell with his feet aimed at Jason's back.
Georgie Tobi roared as her meal disappeared and she looked up and saw Rachel with hungry eyes. She howled, throwing her head back as she broke out towards Rachel, intent on ripping the human apart.
manysidestome OOC: Rachel is technically an elf...
IC: Raqueal saw Tobi head toward Rachel, and sent Fuegar between them, and learning from his past mistake, sent the demon toward her. Agony and anger were unleashed in roars from him as he sped toward Tobi, intent on sending the werewolf up in flames. That was his sole desire, to set things on fire, whoever he happened to see at the moment he wanted dead.
Plaguewalker Move faster! I'm going you whiny little...
Dorjee rocketed towards Tobi, the demon's eyes narrowed on the werewolf. Ducking past Fuegar, and ignoring the sting of the flames, he came crashing full throttle into the lycan. The demon instantly coiled it's arms around the wolf's body, as they smashed through row upon row of chairs.
Georgie ((Oh, I forgot. But I don't think Tobi'd be able to tell, to be perfectly honest. xD))
Tobi aimed for Fuegar, before she was suddenly ripped into the air. She yelped and howled angrily as she was dragged through rows of chairs, feeling the splinters of wood and fabric through her fur. She wriggled from the demon's grip, and fell upon her back into a row of chairs. She snarled viciously and threw herself into him, her jaws wide as she locked down into his arm.
Plaguewalker The demon winced, feeling the fangs sink into his arm. He looked into the wolf's eyes, looking for some sign of the Tobi he knew was in there. "Come on, Tobi. Don't do something you'll regret..." The demon almost gagged, Dorjee forcing him to say what he wanted him to.
manysidestome Raqueal watched the scene between Dorjee and Tobi, and lapsed in concentration. Fuegar took that oppurtunity to break free of the control, and he ran over to the pair. He was going to end both of those things, then everyone else in this room.
Georgie Tobi's bloodlust-clouded eyes drilled into his red orbs and she felt no remorse as she shook her heavy body, tearing the flesh beneath her jaws, digging deeper into the arm, feeling the satisfying ooze of warm blood dribble into her mouth. She shook harder and felt a sharp snap beneath the pressure of her jaws and she dragged her fangs from his arm, taking scrapings of flesh with her.
She dropped, rolled and scrambled to her paws, growling at Fuegar, but keeping her distance.
