"Fuck you!" Orion yelled, moving in front of Zach when he realized that Ladd was pointing a gun at his girlfriend, "You'll have to go through me if you want to get to her!"

Jacob

Jacob's eyes grew wide as the man threatened Zach. He jumped up on instinct. "No you wont!" Jacob shouted at the Terrorist. This man wanted blood, psycopath that he obviously was.

Carla

Carla accepted the gun, making sure it was loaded correctly before she looked back at Jennifer. "Understood."

Zach went wide eyed when a gun was now pointed at her. And she continued to do so when both Orion and Jacob moved to protect her. She was incredibly thankful to them. Even though she was tough, she was scared of the thought of death.

Amy whimpered and dropped the knife. "Please don't do this," she said, about ready to cry, her voice already breaking. "Don't kill my friends."

Jennifer

"Good. Now--"

Jennifer cut herself off as the lights in the hall way turned off. A minute later, they came back on.

"....you do that?"

Ladd

"Well, don't we have a lot of brave young kids? How sweet. A shame--"

The lights in the cafeteria winked off, shrouding the room in total darkness. A minute later the lights turned back one, but one of the terrorists were now missing. Where one had once stood behind Jillian, only the gun on the floor was there now.

"What the hell was that?!" Ladd asked, whirling around. "Who did that?! Where's Big Mike?"

(Anyone else want to give Amy a hug? Poor girl is going to like need therapy. They all will.)

Jillian, realizing that no one was holding a gun to his head, staggered. For a moment he was torn between saving Sayo or running. He choose Sayo, picking up the gun left behind and raising it to the gun behind Sayo.

"I'll shoot," Jillian said, his voice shaking. And then he did, right in the leg.

Amy let out a scream when Jillian shot the gunman, but she was relieved too.

"Guys," she said turning to Zach, Orion and Jacob. "Go now."

"No Amy. We're not going to abandon you guys," Zach said, calming down a bit.

Jacob

Jacob didn't reply to Amy, instead taking in everything that was going on. The power surges, random disappearances, and most surprising of all, Jillian's moment of tough initiation. And then the boy made a very foolish split-second decision. And he rushed at Ladd as quickly as possible.

Carla

"No..." Carla replied, the usual calmness in her demeanor now gone. "We need to save Amy now." Carla replied, stressing the last word as she looked down from the lights towards Jennifer.

((Well, it's a good thing Carla's here. She's the closest thing they got to a therapist.))

Sayo, Ladd

Sayo leapt to his feet once the gunman behind him fell to the floor. He rushed over to Amy and grabbed her hand.

"We're not leaving with you, Amy. We can escape, together!"

Ladd chuckled as Jacob rushed over to him and prepared to blow the kid's brains out. "You think you can take me on, kid?! I'll blow your brains ou--"

The lights flickered and went out again, though quickly came back on. A man in a large overcoat stood between Jacob and Ladd, holding a bloody knife in his hands.

Jennifer

"Lead the way."

Amy screamed again when the man appeared. In the back of her mind she was wondering what was going on, but she was glad for the distractment.

"I won't leave the rest of the students in here," Amy said, trying to breath normally.

Jillian was surprised by his sudden courage and he moved away over to Zach and Orion.

"So then what do we do?"

(Yeah, with Jillian and Jacob in the room, everyone else is safe.)
Jacob

Jacob swore as he felt himself run into a rather disgusting and jumbled form. And when the lights came on, everything became that much more frightening. The man that had killed Mr. John. And if his Mother's Boyfriend, Michel, was right, then this Man had killed his Father as well.

Jacob took a few steps back as he stared at the bloody knife. "You...."

Carla

Carla nodded in reply and resisted making any witty or dry remarks in reply to Jennifer, and instead turned around and quickly ran down the halls towards the staff entrance to the kitchen behind the Cafeteria.

"Amy, they're after you," Orion whispered, "We need to get you out of here!"

He stopped talking, however, when the man with the bloody knife appeared. He really wished he had a gun right now. He spoke, "Damn."

Jillian raised the gun to the man who just appeared. Though he wasn't sure if he would shoot someone again. He was more trying to defend his friends incase he needed to use it again.

Amy shook her head. "No I meant what I said. What if I leave and he shoots the rest of the students?"

"Amy I respect the fact that you care about the other students, but think about you're own life."

"No!" Amy began to cry now. "I won't go. Not until everyone else is safe."

Ladd, Killer

"Go. The children shall not be harmed, my dear. I promise you that. The ones who would dare harm you are my only concern. Go!" the Killer ordered, ignoring the presence of Jacob behind him. As one of Ladd's terrorists opened fire on the creature, the lights went out again. Screams of pain started to be heard as the Killer did who knows what to the terrorists.

Amy felt this urge to trust the man. She grabbed Sayo's hand and pulled him out of the cafeteria. Jillian followed them. Zach pulled Jacob along, seeing how he was staring at the man.

"This is seriously messed up."

Carla

Carla entered the empty and dark Cafeteria kitchen. It was empty, but still smelled bad. "The food in this school is awful...." Carla muttered absentmindedly as she walked past a smoking pot. But then the screams started in the Cafeteria that was just a few yards beyond.

"Damnit." Carla whispered as she immediately realized that it was here. Whether that was good or bad, Carla was not sure, but it was certainly frightening. Who knew how far it would go, how many it would kill.

Jacob

Jacob stood in place, not reacting to the cries of the Terrorists as they were slaughtered. But then, Zach grabbed his hand and brought Jacob too. He let his Friend pull him out of the Cafeteria, following her out instead of waiting for a moment to confront the Killer.

"You're telling me," Orion commented, running beside Zach, glancing back at the Killer before exiting the room. He continued, "I mean, the Killer a good guy?!"

Jennifer

"Let me guess, the Killer?" Jennifer asked rhetorically as she put a new clip into her pistol. "We'll have to be extra careful now that he's here, and that there are no lights on. Don't want to risk shooting any kids by accident..."

Sayo, Ladd

"Oh no you don't! Get back here, you *****!" Ladd called out into the darkness as he stumbled out of the cafeteria. He lifted his shotgun and fired blindly. Sayo heard the bullet impact into some lockers nearby them. Sayo tried to urge his eyes to adjust to the dark more quickly, and noticed the outlines of a nearby door.

"In here, hurry!" Sayo hissed as he flung the door open.

Carla

"Wait." Carla ordered as she held her hand up. "Let him take care of them for now." Carla ordered, placing her bets on the fact that it was most likely here just to defend Amy, and nothing more.

"We need to try and escort as many children out of this place as possible. He'll take care of the bad guys."

Jacob

Something snapped in Jacob when Orion questioningly referred to the Killer as one of the "Goody Guys".

"There is nothing-!" Jacob began to shout as he stood still, but the boy was cut off as a gunshot went off.

"Jacob as much as I know you are upset that he's helping us," Zach cried. "Getting shot will not help anything."

Amy nodded at Sayo and she went inside the room. Jillian and Zach followed.

"So we wait now," Jillian asked.

"It's all we can do."

Sayo

"At least we're in the Gym." Sayo noted after he slammed the door shut once Jacob and Orion came in. "We have plenty of room to move about."

Jennifer

"Whatever you say. Lead the way. You're more familiar with....whatever that thing is."

Jacob

"Yeah, until the Bastard shoots the door open and kills us all." Jacob muttered in reply as he stomped away. The boy was angry, with himself, and everyone else. He wasn't sure why, though he rarely ever was. But instead of yelling, or making rude comments, Jacob simply walked across the gym and locked the other door. Just in case the head Terrorist had thought of walking around the school to get in here. Though he still wouldn't be surprised if the guy thought of some way to get in here.

Carla

"Ex-boyfriend." Carla replied before pausing as she realized now was not the time for jokes. "That was...never mind." Carla whispered in reply before standing up. "You wait here, I'll bring the kids too you. Don't worry, he can't kill me." Carla reassured as she handed the gun to Jennifer.

And then, the School guidance Couselor walked into the Cafeteria, hoping she would be able to distinguish between the screams of scared children and the screams of Men being slaughtered.

Jennifer

"Good luck out there." Jennifer called out to Carla as she walked into the cafeteria. After a moment of deliberation, Jennifer decided to put away her gun. She didn't need to scare the kids that would be coming in here any more than they were.

Sayo

"You ok, Amy?" Sayo asked after a little while. What had happened earlier had been a very traumatizing experience, and he hoped she hadn't been to shaken by it.

Deeming they were safe for now, Amy let go. She fell to her knees and began to sob, answering Sayo's question if she was ok. Zach started down at her friend and bit her lip. She couldn't imagine what it must of been like for her.

"We should be safe for now. That's what's important."

"And I still have the gun I took," Jillian pointed out.

Sayo

Sayo got onto the floor and hugged Amy tightly. He let her cry on to his shoulder. He tried to think of something to say, but nothing really came to mind.

Orion frowned, standing beside Amy and patting her shoulder as Sayo hugged her. He looked over at Jacob. Something was bothering his friend. He didn't get to know Jacob for all these years without learning how to tell when something was seriously wrong with him. He sighed and walked over to him.

"Hey, Jacob, are you okay? I'm sorry for calling the killer a 'good guy', I was just shocked that he was helping us," he told him, sounding unusually thoughtful.
