Pokemon: Fusion Fighters

Magnus

"3, 2, 1, begin," the referee shouted, and Magnus leapt into action. "Double Team," Magnus said, and Gardevoir split into 20 different images this time. There was only one attack Gardevoir knew at the moment that could even damage Absol, he would have to rely on her evasion and speed to avoid being hit.

Cronus

Guards did come, and to their credit, they faced the fused Crime Lord with resolve, and terror, in their eyes. "Admirable," came a deep, gluttural voice from the fused trainer. He let out a roar and shot a flamethrower from his mouth, most of the guards getting behind walls. They opened fire, but a well used protect kept them from hitting. He then let loose a Dragon Breath attack, which melted parts of the wall. "Fall back, fall back," one guard shouted, and they ran from the room, leaving Cronus and his team only a few minutes to loot the vaults before more annoying humans showed up.

William started right away smashing his claw into a safe nearby. The door of it gave away after a few hits thank to a small flamethrower as well. He didn't use it too much so now to destory what was inside.

Crieg frowned at her opponents move, but she didn't think too much about it either.

"Midnight Razor Wind."

The Absol did as she was told, trying to hit as many as she could.

Magnus

One by one the Gardevoir illusions disappeared, until none were left. For a few moments Gardevoir was nowhere to be seen, until Magnus smirked and Gardevoir appeared behind Absol. "Magical Leaf," he said using their connection, and Gardevoir held out her hands as leaves appeared to attack Absol.

Crieg didn't see the attack until it was too late. Absol flew a few feet and Crieg bit her lip.

"You're ok Midnight. You can beat this guy," she encouraged her partner. Midnight stood and Crieg sighed in relief.

"Bite!"

Magnus

As soon as he heard the word, he told Gardevoir, "Teleport, then another double team." Gardevoir disappeared just before Absol used bite, and reappeared on the other side of the ring and made duplicates of herself, around 15 this time.

Cronus

Cronus ripped open steel doors with Salamence's strength behind him and started to take the most valuable items, not cash, but objects from boxes that people had stored. He'd been looking for a while for some important objects, but there was no telling in which banks they'd be, and he'd searched through quite a few of the most renowned across the world. There was little information about them, which was all he had to go on.

"Midnight use Future Sight and then just defend. Let's see where that takes us," Crieg said through the connection. The Absol nodded and used the attack and then defended. Crieg waited for Magnus to attack.

Magnus

"If they won't attack, let's take this chance to up your stats. Use Calm Mind," Magnus said, and Gardevoir closed her eyes and bowed her head, bringing her hands together. This meditation started to raise her special attack and defense stats.

Crieg waited for the Future Sight to work. While she waited she decided to follow Magnus's lead.

"Midnight Swords Dance," she said, building up the Absol's attack.

Magnus

Gardevoir continued to build up her stats with Calm Mind until Future Sight struck, causing her to cry out, and Magnus did as well. It wasn't too painful, but the shock of it after being almost unware of the outside world caused the cry. "Use Magical Leaf," Magnus called out, and Gardevoir once again summoned the leaves that went toward Absol.

"Use Razor Wind," Crieg called out, trying to block the leaves with Absol's attack. It worked kind of, but Midnight was hit somewhat.

(I plan on losing, but I want to draw out the battle. Make it intense)

Magnus

Gardevoir was hit somewhat by the Razor winds, but managed to stand her ground. "All right, Gardevoir, let's go-," Magnus yelled but was cut off. Some small objects were dropped into the arena and smoke began to billow out. Soon it covered the arena, and in the confusion someone grabbed Magnus and pulled him away, out of the arena. The same thing was happening to Gardevoir, Crieg, and Midnight. Up in the box seats, men in black (hehe) with masks over their faces poured in and grabbed Jacob, Jolteon, Daire, and Evee before they could do anything. In the cafeteria, Remedy and Douglas were also being abducted. "Targets acquired, en route back to base," one said into a comlink. "Someone's getting the missing pokemon, correct," one of the men asked. "Yes, they will be at the base when we bring these trainers," the first one said. All were thrown into a van and it began to drive off.

(Sorry to cut it short, but we needed to move it along.)

Daire

Daire sat in the back of a large van, Eevee sitting in his lap. At first, Daire thought that they were being arrested for some reason. But he quickly realized that this was not the case since he hadn't been restrained. No, this was just a good old-fashioned abduction.

Jacob

Jacob looked around once he was free of the jerk restraining him. He saw some other contestants and two other people who he didn't know. Great, there's Talve, he thought. Not only was he being taken somewhere against his will, he was with someone he really didn't like. Than again, he pretty much despised everyone here; the dancing fool, the foreign fool, the female fool, the two people he didn't know... fools. "You ok, Jolteon?" he asked, feeling Jolteon against his leg.

Magnus

"What is the meaning of this," Magnus asked, trying to get a response from their kidnappers. Gardevoir sat by him, looking much more calm than her partner. She tried to soothe him through their connection, but he was too angry to be calmed. He started banging on the divider between the back of the van and the driver's bench.

Daire/Douglas

Daire rolled his eyes and began to speak in Norwegian. Partially because it felt good on his tongue. But also because he knew it would annoy a few of the others as well.

"My Dad is going to be ticked...." Douglas groaned as he leaned against the wall of the van.

(Aww. But ok.)

Crieg was angry, about ready to attack her kidnappers. Not only for abducting her, but her battle was cut short! Midnight tried to help Crieg relax, but all she was able to do was keep her from punching someone in the face.

Remedy was frighten and she began to speak in English slang, which was something she usually tried not to use since most people here didn't quite understand her.

Jacob

Jacob sat in agitation, and Jolteon was bristling beside him. He suddenly felt something from Jolteon, and his eyes widened. "Everyone, shut up," he yelled at the group, but it was too late. Jolteon growled and let loose a bolt of electricity that shocked everyone else in the back of the van. After he stopped, Jacob felt his muscles twitching and could smell singed hair. He fell back into his chair, too shell shocked to do anything except say, "Ouch."

Magnus

"Yow," Magnus yelled as the electricity shocked him, and Gardevoir let out a shrill cry as she felt the shock too. When it was over she glared at Jolteon and made an agressive move, causing Jolteon to bare his teeth and shake his coat, which he could shoot off to damage. "What was the meaning of that," Magnus yelled at Jacob. He sat up and said, "I tried to stop him, but all that yelling set him off. I guess he really hates idiots."

Daire

Daire noticed the way Jolteon was bristling, but had no time to react as he and Eevee were shocked. He was furious now, but after Jacob's comments everything became that much worse. "That does not explain why she's with a spoiled and entitled brat like yourself then." Daire stated, his accent getting extremely thick as he sneered.

Crieg cried out in pain and she glared at Jacob. Midnight growled beside her.

"What the hell Jacob! Just because you're a sore loser doesn't mean you should attack everyone, especially since you don't know any of us."

"Aah," Remedy screamed. Tears started to flow out her eyes from the pain and she turned away from the others to avoid them seeing her crying.

Jacob/Magnus

"You insolent little worm," Magnus yelled. "Just because you're pathetic doesn't mean you have the right to hurt others!" Jacob's eyes narrowed and for a moment looked as if he might respond, but instead his arm shot out and slugged Magnus on his cheek. Magnus fell back against the wall, but was back up in a moment and returned the favor, punching Jacob hard enough to send him to the van doors. He tried to get up but Jolteon kept him down, while Gardevoir was restraining Magnus. "Get off me, I'm going to make him regret that," Jacob said. "Yeah, just try it," Magnus yelled, both boys trying to get at each other.

At that moment a voice sounded from the front of the bus over an intercom-like thing: "Please refrain from fighting, we'll be at our destination shortly."

Crieg was tempted to take a swing at one of the boys (mainly Jacob), but she refrained herself from doing so after she heard whoever it was over the intercom. She became more interested in what was going on. But she kept her mouth shut not wanting to talk to anyone here.

Douglas/Daire

Douglas ignored the fighting, placing his hand on Remedy as he tried to comfort the Girl.

Meanwhile Daire stood to the side as Magnus and Jacob fought. The boy rolling his eyes as began to hope that both of them would just kill each other. "Anything to shut that brat up." Daire thought as he glared at Jacob.

But then the intercom came on, and a calm voice ordered them to stay calm.

General

The van came to a stop, the doors opened, and Jacob, being pinned against them, fell out and landed on his stomach, Jolteon on top of him. Rough hands picked them up and led them inside while others were escorting the rest of the trainers. They brought the group to a room where there were several people in there and both a Squirtle and Chatot who belonged to the two youngest. "Put this one apart from the others," one said of Jacob, and he was sat on a chair against a wall while the others were allowed to sit around a round table. Jacob eyed the others were pure hatred as they passed him, and nearly jumped up and resumed his fight with Magnus when the other boy passed giving him a rude gesture.

"Now, since we've all managed to not try and kill each other, you should know why you're here. I am Director Johnson of the PPA, the Pokemon Policy Agency," the Director said, at the center of the table. "You should be aware of us, since you are all trainers. I assume you've heard of the crime wave being facilitated by rouge trainers. We have been unable to stop them, and as we speak they are committing more crimes. The reason you've been brought here is because you are trainers that have or are close to achieving 'fusion' with your pokemon. While you aren't the only trainers we've gathered, you are one of the most important, you six will be a team under us. If you cooperate, you will be helping to rid the world of a menace and show the wolrd the good your partners are capable of. If you resist, we arrest you and take your pokemon for testing."

Remedy smiled up at Douglas and she wiped her face. When the door opened she walked out, a little shaky. Crieg leapt out of the van and she and Midnight were on alert. Once entering the room Remedy cried out in glee.

"Chatot!"

The bird pokemon flew to her and she laughed. The two girls sat and listened. Crieg was intrigued by what she was told, Remedy a little bit put off.

Douglas/Daire

Douglas was thrilled to be back with Squirtle, though he wasn't pleased with the threats given by the Director.

"So basically we're tools you want to use to stop a force that you yourself are too weak to defeat? Well isn't that lovely, you're even breaking child labor laws while you're at it." Daire commented as he looked at the two youngest Children in the room.

Director

"We're government, we set the rules," Director Johnson said with a sick smile. "And sure, if you'd like to be cynical about it. This whole experience depends on you though. You can either be heroes, unwilling participants, or prisoners. And you're wrong, we're not weak, but most of the trainers in our branch haven't achieved your 'bond' with your pokemon. We can't afford to wait anymore, we need you."

Magnus stood up and said, "If no one else, you have me. If I can help stop those who would abuse the relationship with a pokemon for personal gain, I will." The Director nodded, glad that at least one of these kids was reasonable.
