This World

Orion licked his gums as he stood in the shower when he heard someone come in. He had sleepily made his way in there, thinking he was at home. Still unaware, he stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around himself, his eyes widening when he saw Zach.

"What are you doing in my house?!" he exclaimed before realizing where he was. He groaned, "Oh, shit."

Zach looked at Orion and away her face bright red.

"ORION! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" She threw the toothbrush (probably Sayo's mom's) at her boyfriend before exiting the bathroom. Still pink in the face she entered the kitchen.

"Zach are you ok? I heard someone yelling," Amy asked. Zach just shook her head and sat down.

Sayo

"You sure? I think I heard you mention Orion's name. I remember that he went in the bathroom after I did to take a shower, then you....oh." Sayo said with realization, blushing a little. He cleared his throat and went back to preparing breakfast.

"Sayo if you say anything I swear," Zach said looking at her friend. "And I'll be ok Amy. Just don't ask ok?"

"Um....ok."

Sayo

"D-Don't worry, I won't." Sayo promised, gulping a little. While Zach was normally a nice girl, Sayo knew that she could be violent when she wanted to be. And she often delivered on her threats. Sayo diverted his attention back to breakfast, and made the finishing touches on it. He began to pass some plates around an filled them up, leaving one for Orion when he got out of the bathroom.

Jacob

"Awesome Sayo, these look delicious." Jacob complimented as he began to eat some of the bacon.

"Amy, don't let him get away. He's going to make a great wife someday."

((That last line made me laugh. Indeed, Sayo seems the type to be the 'wife' in almost any relationship.))

Sayo

"H-Hey! A lot of men know how to cook. That doesn't make me the 'wife' in any relationship." Sayo protested, blushing. He neglected to mention anything about the 'Amy' part.

"Yeah. Lots of guys know how to cook, especially the gay ones. Mind you, those are usually the 'women' in the relationship, if you know what I mean," Orion stated, wriggling his eyebrows as he entered the kitchen, now fully dressed. He blushed a little when he saw Zach and apologized, "Sorry, Zach. Thought this was my house."

Jacob

"Of course, Sayo. Just cooking in general wouldn't make you the wife. But when you look at your attitude, plus the cooking, plus the sewing.... Hell man, if I didn't know you, I would swear that you're a ***." Jacob replied as he leaned back in his chair.


(Yes I know Jacob is an insensitive bigot. That's kind of intentional.)

Sayo

Sayo scowled and grumbled under his breath, imagining several satsifying ways to humiliate Orion and Jacob before he got his temper under control.

"One, Jacob and Orion, that's a bit of a sterotype. Not all gay men are like that. Two, my father knows how to cook and sew as well, and he's not gay. In fact, he holds his own cooking class during the summer, and there are a lot of men in there too, along with women. Learning to cook for yourself is a useful skill. And three, just because I may act prudish and may do things that seem girly, does not mean I am gay. Not that there's anything wrong with being like that, of course." Sayo calmly explained.

"And we should end that conversation here. We don't want to ruin Amy's innocent mind any further." he added.

Jacob

"Yeah, yeah. No need to be so defensive, Sayo." Jacob told his friend, a smirk on his face.

"Sayo calm down," Zach said. "And it's ok Orion. At least I didn't really see anything." She blushed a little then she smiled as she turned back to Sayo. "Besides many girls and women love a man who knows how to cook and sew and the like. I myself wouldn't mind having a guy who would cook for me once in a while. Of course I probably won't," she said batting her eyelashes at Orion during the last part.

Sayo

"Thank you Zach. Now, we all better hurry up and finish eating. My aunt ought to be here soon." Sayo said. He was glad Amy hadn't commented on all of that, especially with what Jacob said at the beginning. He took a seat and began to eat his breakfast.

"Of course," Orion said brightly, winking back at Zach with a grin, "Who needs to cook when you have fastfood?"

Jacob

"Is that how she fell for you Orion? You took her to burger king and she just couldn't resist you because of the romantic setting provided by the king?"

Amy finished her breakfast and gave Sayo a soft smile.

"Thank you for the meal."

Zach shook her head at the two boys. "Yeah he wishes. I don't like a lot of fastfood."

Sayo

"You're welcome." Sayo replied, smiling back. The honk of a car horn from the front yard then came. Sayo quickly finished the rest of his breakfast and threw away the paper plate.

"Come on, Aunt Jennifer's here now. Time for school."

"For your information, she fell for me for my personality and because I was willing to sacrifice my own happiness to take her to places that she wanted to go but would torture me," Orion stated before sighing when he heard Sayo mention school, "Can't we skip? Your aunt is cool. She'd let us!"

Jacob

Jacob chuckled as he heard Orion's explanation, guessing that Zach was probably annoyed with the both of them by this point.

"Don't make me drag you by your ear Orion," Zach said sweetly to her boyfriend. Then to Sayo, "I'm ready to go."

"So am I," Amy said. She didn't think that they should skip, but she was having this weird feeling. It's why she was outside before. Something was bothering her, but she didn't know what.

Sayo

"Sorry Orion, but even my Aunt Jennifer takes education seriously. She'd rather let you wrestle a bear than skip school." Sayo said with a somewhat sympathetic smile. After grabbing his things, Sayo left out the front door and locked it behind him once his friends came out.

On the driveway sat a rather stylish looking car, with Jennifer sitting behind the steering wheel. She honked her horn once she saw the kids come outside before rolling down her window.

"Come on! We can't waste anymore time, now. I have to get you all to school, whether you like it or not." Jennifer said sweetly, mostly directing the last of her statement to Orion and Jacob.

Jacob

"I guess you guys really are related...." Jacob muttered as he got into the car, taking the front seat besides Jennifer.

"Women are crazy," Orion muttered, looking from Zach to Sayo's Aunt Jennifer before sighing and taking her hand and walking into the car miserably.

(Orion/Zach Orach? Zarion? That's hope my relationship will probably be like. XD And I am serious.)

Zach felt a little bad and she kissed Orion.

"Yeah but you like it."

Amy laughed at her friends and slid into the back seat. She noted there was only three seats in the back.

"Um is someone walking or...?"

Jennifer, Sayo

"Hm, well that's bothersome. I guess you'll have to sit on someone's lap." Jennifer said, her eyes glancing over at Sayo. After a moment the young teen blushed bright red, getting Jennifer's suggestion.

"W-Wait, what?! Y-You mean me?" the flustered Sayo asked. Jennifer rolled her eyes.

"No, I meant Barney the frickin dinosaur. Of course I meant you, Sayo."
