Succession: Heir to the Empire

Susanna collapsed for a second before pulling herself up. "Th-thank you." The Noblewoman said politely as she looked back up at C.C., Anna's eyes now changed briefly as the symbol on the Mage's forehead matched them for a second. But then Susanna blinked and the Geais disappeared from her eyes.
"So that's the power of the Kings...."

C.C.

"Yes. Geais is a mental power, though I am not sure how it will manifest itself in you. It can take the form of numerous powers, from commanding someone to do anything you wish, to freezing time. I suggest experimenting with it before your next encounter with Caesar or Rau. Be careful with it, though. Your power could be one of the dangerous kind, and it is best not to abuse it. If not used properly, Geais can destroy you." C.C. warned.

"It will not work on Mages like myself. Also, it may not work on highly skilled magic users like Baruti. But as the power progresses, it can overpower people like Baruti." C.C. added. A second later a smile came to her face.

"If your power is not too bad, I suggest using it for a prank. I'm sure your cousin Katie wouldn't mind being a guinea pig."

Susanna's rather intense expression broke into a grin as she heard the last part of C.C.'s advice. "So I suppose Katie could practice with me....hopefully it will only take me a few seconds to figure out what my Geais does. Oh I hope it doesn't randomly light things on fire, the Guinea pig idea does sound amusing though." Susanna said before smiling at the idea of it.

The Noblewoman looked back up at C.C. and smiled softly. "Thank you C.C. ....I wont let you down."

C.C.

"Your welcome. I'm sure you won't. How about we go find a palace servant? You can test your power first on one of them." C.C. suggested.

"Well that's a bit hypocritical isn't it? Nebi telling someone to give up just because it's staring to get hard." Kegan said in a slightly superior tone as he tried to start a conversation with Carlisle, something the Doctor wasn't going to allow at this point.

"Of course....." The Half-Elf muttered in annoyance as he looked back at the fight.

Susanna simply nodded in response as she stood up straight and tall and glanced around the halls. "It would seem that people might be avoiding us...well me at least." The Noblewoman commented as she remembered how the only servant she had seen was the one that had tried to run away from her and Caesar that se had helped. "I suppose he'll do though....I suppose we should head for the stables then." She declared to C.C. reluctantly.

C.C.

"Very well then. Lead the way." C.C. said.

Susanna walked with C.C. down the halls until they eventually arrived at the Stables. "He should be here I believe." She informed her friend as they walked into the rather bad smelling area.

"Daniel!" She shouted before a rather old looking man came out from around the corner, looking rather tired.

"Well Hello there Miss Mignon, didn't 'spect you to be here with the tournament and all going on today." He said with the slight twang of someone who had been raised in the southeast in his voice.

"Well I just had to check up on the young boy I sent here to work for you an hour ago, if you don't mind, I would prefer to speak with him privately." Susanna ordered in a polite tone before Daniel simply nodded in return and left back around the corner.

"So this is it then, time to learn what kind of King I am." She reminded herself before a small smile came to her face or a second, realizing she had called herself a King. She then turned around and looked back at C.C. with the smile still on her face but now slightly less visible. "So I just need to look him in the eyes for the Geais to work?"

C.C.

"Yes. Eye contact is very important. It cannot work without eye contact." C.C. replied. In the event that Susanna's Geais was harmful, she was ready to step in and fix whatever may go wrong.

"I won't!" Epiphany shouted back. She chanted an incantation and pressed her palm onto the ground in front of Nebi. Ice emitted from her fingertips and went towards Nebi. The ice grew onto his feet and very slowly grew upon Nebi's body.

Epiphany took this opportunity to dig her sai farther from the quicksand and she continued her struggle to get out. She could barely move. She could only move out of the quicksand for just a few inches. There has to be a way to get me out of here.

Nebi frowned as he felt ice grow up his body. This was a troublesome spell. He made a handsign, causing fire to emit from his body, melting the ice. He then turned to Epiphany and made some handsigns, causing the quicksand to begin sucking her down.

Susanna simply nodded in reply as she heard footsteps behind her. "Then lets get this one over with." She whispered before turning around to see the servant boy from earlier that day.

"You wanted to see me Lady Mignon?" He asked with a hint of nervousness to his tone. Unfortunately for Susanna the boy was looking at her feet and not into her eyes.

"I just needed to speak with you David." Susanna explained as she walked towards the stableboy so he couldn't help but make eye contact with her.

"Miss that's not my name...."

"It is now, and it always has been." Susanna replied as she finally looked into the servants eyes. There were a few seconds of silence before Susanna was sure it had worked. "David?"

"Yes Miss?" The servant boy asked as though nothing were wrong.

"Go back to work I suppose, that's all for now." Susanna ordered before turning around and looking towards C.C. . She felt like she was going to be slightly sick after that, but the young woman quickly shoved those feelings down.

C.C.

"It seems your Geass is one of Absolute Obedience. At least it isn't that dangerous. Are you alright Susanna?" C.C. asked. She hoped that Susanna could take her Geais. Ones with weak will couldn't handle Geais well.

Susanna rubbed her forehead for a second as she came to terms with she had just done to the young boy. "I'm fine, really I am." The Noblewoman tried to reassure her friend as she smiled weakly.

"It's just...odd I suppose. His mind was changed in an instant just because I willed it to, that's quite a bit of power fro one to have. I'll just have to extremely careful with it." She reminded herself as she walked up to C.C. . "But don't worry, I don't intend to let you down with this and I'll only use when I have to."

C.C.

"Good. I've seen what happens when Geais is abused. Trust me, the results are not pretty. But I trust you will keep faithful. Remember to use this power only when needed. Oh, and you should know that it will only work once per person. Keep that in mind as well when using it. Oh, and if you want me to, I can fix that boy." C.C. said.

She suddenly felt a large concentration of magic. But as soon as it was there, it disappeared. The Mage frowned in thought and tried to find out where it came from. No, not from where the Heirs were fighting...no, it had come from Caesar's room. How interesting. Just what was he planning now?

Epiphany felt the quicksand sinking and pulling her down with it. She thought the only way to get her out of the pet was to use a summoning spell. She muttered an incantation and a small portal opened. From the portal came an icy blue dragon. Epiphany grabbed onto one of the dragon's claws and was pulled out from the quicksand pit. Epiphany's dragon landed and Epiphany stood legs trying to keep her balance. She brushed that sand of her.

"Nebi, this is my ice dragon, Galacia." Epiphany turned to her dragon,"Galacia, this is Nebi."

Nebi grinned and made some handsigns before summoning Agni again. This time, she emerged from right beneath him. She looked over at Galacia neutrally, her red and gold scales sparkling.
"Nice to meet you, Galacia," Nebi said politely, "You've already met Agni, I believe."

Baruti hummed in thought. Fire vs Ice. This would be an entertaining fight indeed.

Susanna nodded in agreement as she made a mental note of the rules C.C. was telling her about. "That would probably be for the best...." She agreed with C.C.'s offer to fix the young servant, though her words grew slower and she sounded a bit confused as she noticed the Mage's expression.

"Is something going on...?" She asked.

A smile had come onto Carlisle's face after he saw Epiphany come out of the quicksand using her summon. Things were starting to get interesting now that both Heirs had summoned dragons. But Carlisle also felt a it uncomfortable at the beasts arrival, for nowit was much more likely that Epiphany or Nebi would be harmed.

C.C.

"No, nothings wrong. Just felt something...out of the ordinary." C.C. replied. Whatever Caesar (or whoever the hell he was right then) was doing, it didn't concern them for the time being. He hadn't used any Dark Magic. The Mage would have felt that. It had felt strangely...gray, neutral. But it didn't matter for the time being. C.C. closed her eyes and concentrated on the stable boy.

"There, I've fixed. Now, how about we go watch the rest of the match? Or if you'd rather, we can use Katie as a guine pig for your power..."

((No offense meant, but I think the fight between Epiphany and Nebi has gone on long enough. I think it should end very soon, so we can move on to other matters.))

Galacia spoke to Nebi through her mind. "Yes, we have." Epiphany decided to let the fight go on.

"Let's get this over with!" Epiphany shouted."Use your freezing fire Galacia."

Galacia followed and flew to the air and blew bright blue flames to the ground. As the flames touched the ground, icicle spikes grew from it and attempted to wrap itself around Nebi and Agni.

Susanna looked at C.C. with a skirk on her face as she heard the two options they had at the moment. "The match should be finished soon, we may as well find out who the winner is before we go to see Katie. She'd probably be frustrated if we never found out anyways." Susanna pointed out as she pulled her arms down to he side.

Nebi nodded and turned to Agni, "Show them some real fire, Agni."
The dragon nodded and blew crimson flames, melting the ice around them and heading for their opponents.

C.C.

"Very well then." C.C. said. She closed her eyes and quickly transported Susanna and herself to the room where the current match was being held. Hm, it seemed that the match was about to reach its climax. Now, who would win this round?
