Michael looked at Lily suspiciously for a few seconds before shaking his head. "Doesn't matter, if it was important she would tell us....wouldn't she?" The student wondered as he looked between Nick and Lilian for a few seconds before standing up.

"I-i'm going to gym." Michael said as he avoided looking at any of his friends in the eyes as he walked away and tried to figure out what was going on.

Nick just stood there. He slipped off the gem, and put it in his pocket. "I'll be off to detention. It was great meeting you. Aurevoir mes amis!" he said, and then stalked out of the cafeteria, not waiting for the teacher to show him the way.

((Sorry I haven't posted much since this started. School and everything, y'know? But I have no more school for the next two and a half months, so this is basically all I'm doing. And yeah, I'm fine with the timeskip.))

Lily sat on a swing in the park, gently swinging back and forth a bit, swirling the mulch around with her old, worn down black and white, Chuck Taylor's. She was wearing a Blck and red, zebra print shirt and worn-out jeans with a maroon shawl, due to the fact that it was an abnormally cool day in early june.

Nick snuck up behind Lily, who was sitting on the swing in her fun attire. He had left detention as soon as the person who was supposed to be watching him and the jock, fell asleep. Him and the jock had had a fine conversation walking through the halls, laughing about the stupidity of some of the school staff. Needless to say the student body would not be sicked on him by the jock.

Now Nick was in the park, being all sneeky like. Once he was behind Lily he wrapped his arms around her waist. "What'cha doing mind reader?" he asked.

Lily jumped. "Don't do that!" She exclaimed, playfully hiting him in the shoulder. Shepulled his arms off her waist. "So, you snuck out of detention without having the jock unleash the wrth of his gorilla friends on you?" She guessed.

He pouted at Lily as she pulled his arms off of her. "And no, I ended up in a fight with all of them. As you'll notice, I'm unharmed, because I'm just that good." he lied, smiling at her. "And by the way, you owe me one for getting you out of trouble milady." he continued.

"Ok, what do you want?" She asked, "And by the way, I don't have to owe you anything because i was ready to et detention. I'm just being nice." She grinned at him.

"Well I want a rocket ship, but I doubt you could get me that." Nick said teasingly. "How about you tell me something about yourself? Like a deep dark secret." he said, smiling. He liked having info on people. He always kept it safely locked up, but he like information, and secrets. "That or you could always give me a kiss." he continued teasingly.

She smiled. She leaned in like she was going to kiss him. She stopped. She pulled out her necklace. "I saw that you had one too earlier. What does yours stand for?" She held the pendant up to the sun, the sapphire in the heart of the cross turned a translucent light purple color. "This middle stone is alexandrite, it's my birthstone, it changes colors in the light." She said absent-mindedly.

Nick smiled as she leaned in, but wasn't entirely surprised when she didn't kiss him, he was a little let down though. "That's cool, I like girls who play hard to get." he mumbled. He watched her gemstone change color. That was interesting. "Alexandrite? I've never heard of that before." he commented. He lost his childish side. She had just made things a little more serious. Nick pulled his own gem out of his pocket. "I have no clue what it stands for. All I really know is what it does, and it's name. The caster's stone." he said to himself, holding the chained stone to the light, it shone like a fire in the light. It felt rather fitting. He didn't really realize what he was doing either, showing off the stone, but she had seen it on him earlier. He brought it back down from the sun's glare. "You'll see soon enough what it can do Lily, you can decide for yourself if that's good or bad." he said, and picked up his book, which he had dropped to surprise hug Lily.

"Mine stands for vampires. I'm only part, no blood drinking or anything, My cousin's half. MY parents gave this to me on my fifteenth birthday, they said that once your fifteen, you start developing powers or some shit like that." She told him. "And I think you're good, you don't seem like a bad guy."

Hanyer sat by the slide. Charlie slid down it, then ran up the slide, to go down it again. He smiled at her. She was so cute sometimes. Just like a little sister.

"Be sure you don't slip," he told her. Charlie nodded, but he didn't think she was paying much attention.

((Hey toko, just curious, are your characters friends with the others yet? I notice they haven't interacted with anybody yet, just curious.))

Nick couldn't say he wasn't taken aback by the vampire thing. I mean, it's not every day you find out the girl you were hitting on was in fact half vampire. "That's interesting. A vampire huh?" he said, nonchalantly. He seemed to pretend it didn't matter. Nick chuckled a little. "Good guys and bad guys are meaningless terms." he said, and then looked at her with sharp eyes, cold, and piercing. Completely different from who he normally was. "I do what I do, and that's it. You could consider it morally right, or wrong, but I really only have my actions to speak for me." he continued, and stared at her for a couple seconds before looking away. "Watch your back Lily, for anybody." he finished.

Lily stepped back a bit. She was definitely shocked by that one. But she then shook her head. "No. Your not a bad person, I know it." She said, staring into his eyes intently, almost like staring through a window to another world.

"You've known me for less than a day, I wouldn't make too many judgments so quickly." Nick replied, calmly, and unbiasedly, not judging her or himself. "NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK!' called a high pitched voice, followed by the unmistakable sound of a child running. He gave one last grim look at Lily, then smiled and winked at her. "Just make sure to forgive me when the time comes, kay?" he said, before turning to the little girl running full tilt at him.

Lily smiled "I will." She whispered to him before the little girl came running into him. "Who's this?" she asked, looking at the little girl. "your sister?"

(I'm not sure. I assumed they were, but they don't have to if you want.)

((Sarah? I immediately thought of Ed, Edd, n' Eddy when I saw that...XD))

Ceshlyta was skulking around the playground, bored. Suddenly, she found something fun: Monkey bars!!! "Yes! I knew they had to be around here somewhere!" she chirped. She then started to swing on them, and after a while, she found the stationary ones and climbed upside-down on them, a favorite pastime of hers. She saw Nick and Lily talking, along with...a little girl? "Hey, Nick!!! Is that your sister?!" she yelled. Ceshlyta never had a problem being heard, as her voice carried for at least a quarter-mile at most.

((no, I want them to be, they just have been off on their own so i wanted to know.))

Lily palm-faced. "Ceshie! Get over here if you want to talk, you'll scare the living daylights out of the girl!" She called.

(I always hated this NPC I don't know why I brought her back. Maybe I should kill her off?)

"I'm Sarah!" screamed the little girl. Nick rubbed her head. "Nope. My sister would look much prettier if she shared any direct genes." he said. Sarah hit his leg. "That's not very nice Nick! I'm the prettiest girl in the world! And I have jeans, see?" she said, motioning down to her legs. "Sarah, that's a skirt, and also not what I was talking about." he said, and rubbed her head again. And then Sarah jumped as Ceshlyta called over, but giggled as after she had heard her name. "Haha! Ceshie is a silly name!" she commented, before turning to Lily. "And I ain't fraid a nothin!" she added. Nick leaned down next to her ear. "Boo." he said, and Sarah jumped.
