The Legend of Zelda: A New Legend (Rating: PG-13) STARTED!

As the years passed, since the Twilight was expelled from Hyrule by the great Hero, Link, centuries ago, things have been better. The kingdom prospered for centuries to come.

But, all that is good, must come to an end.

Ganondorf, the Evil King, was resurrected by an unknown sorcerer. He returned to Castle Town and attacked Hyrule Castle. The King and his forces surrendered and Hyrule was under Ganondorf's evil grasp, and Princess Zelda was sent to a prison in the Faron Woods. The provinces of Hyrule protested, but Ganondorf's minions quickly put down the protests. A new Hero has failed to appear. Or heroes. Yet.

So, basically, this is a new era of Hyrule. There are some things different and the same. Some of the things that are the same are that many of Link's items are scattered, where they were originally gotten. The Sky Cannon is intact, and the geography of Hyrule is that of Twilight Princess. The different things are that not everything is the same, you add your own (reasonable) twists.

Sages are allowed as characters.

Appearance: 5'11", 145 pounds, has blue eyes, dirty blonde hair, and lightly tanned skin. He wears a blue shirt with pants and Ordon boots.
Personality: He is very smart, though he takes a while to decide on things sometimes. His temper can raise high sometimes, but only if provoked. He is always willing to help friends.

Unfortunately, those men never returned, though the animals did stop invading the village. He got a job at the local ranch herding goats and has been doing that ever since.
Appearance: 5' 10", 157 lbs. Has green eyes, light brown hair, and lightly tanned skin. He wears beige pants and a brown shirt with blue thread along with Ordon boots. Also has a small silver necklace around his neck.
Personality: Calm, sad, introspective, and slightly self-centered, but even so, he still has a martyr complex. He can be rather Naive and lazy sometimes, but when he makes up his mind on something he can be very determined.

History: She was born in Hyrule Castle town, the second Daughter of the King and Queen of Hyrule. She lived a fairly happy and normal life, learning all she could about the Kingdom and playing with her older Sister whenever she could. Then, when Rowan was fifteen, her life was ruined by the return of Ganondorf. During the night that Ganondorf took over, Rowan escaped along with a few Servants who helped her. She never saw the rest of her family die, though after a few months she assumed that they were long gone. Without any family or friends, Rowan moved up the river from Castle town, North near where the Zoras lived. The Zoras took Rowan in for a while, keeping the fact that she was alive a secret from the rest of the world. She eventually got a job with a small family that operated a fishing pond and sold Canoe trips down the river to Lake Hylia, moving in with them so as not to be a burden to the Zoras. She's managed to keep her identity a secret from Ganondorf andthe world for the past few years, but sh's beginning to grow restless with her life.
Appearance: Rowan(Except with long pointed ears.) 5' 8" 123lbs.
Personality: She is very intelligent, and curious as well. She is a very talkative person and she enjoys being around other people, though recently she has learned to enjoy being alone as well. She can be rather spiteful sometimes, and she can assume to much from others as well, but otherwise she always tries to be kind to others. Currently rather depressed, Rowan is beginning to grow restless with her life and she is now slowly planning what she should do next.

When Ganondorf was resurrected, instead of fighting the ancient king like his mother and the other guardians, or joining him like the traitorous Gerudo thieves, Elias ran and escaped as quickly as possible. After a few weeks of travel, Elias found himself in an overrun Hyrule Castle Town. Realizing what Ganondorf had done, Elias quickly left, finding himself on the shores of Lake Hylia a few days later. After buying a few supplies from a small local village, Elias decided to travel around the land of Hyrule so he could create a new map of the land, something that hadn't been done for four-hundred years. So far he has traveled alone with little trouble, and he is almost finished with his map.
Appearance: Elias. Green eyes, dark tan skin, and dark brown hair. 6'2 and 171 lbs.
Personality: Cold, quiet, and wary of others, Elias isn't exactly the most fun person to be around. He isn't very smart, nor brave, though he is very determined to accomplish his goal and he doesn't let anything stop him.

Personality: Najwa is a flirt, an intelligent flirt, but a flirt none the less. She enjoys helping others, and she enjoys being a part of soemthing that she believes is important as well. She has a bad temper, though she usually knows when to hold her tongue.

Personality: A very fiery temper can flare when provoked, but generally she is bright, cheery, and a true ray of sunshine. She is shy, but when she warms up, she acts just like that.

History: Nade’s ancestors have always been prominent and respected Sheikah. Because of this, Nade’s expectations have always been very high; evident by his name meaning ‘Elusive,’ which was once the name of an ancient Sheikah who helped save the Royal Family a long time ago. Nade has done his best to try to exceed those expectations, again and again, and trains hard everyday. Just recently, he’s been assigned to a low ranking member of the Royal Family with another Sheikah named ‘Jezebel.’ Despite her reputation, he remains indifferent, and ready to serve the Royal Family.

Personality: Nade is usually very stoic, and quiet. He barely knows how to relax, as he is always training in order to improve himself. He follows orders diligently, and is very determined; unwilling to give up in any situation.

Just recently however, Leit's father led a platoon of soldiers against Gannondorf, and was killed. The soldiers that were once proud and strong , are now a bunch of weak cowards again. Disgusted by what they had become, Leit has decided to journey out on his own in order to get stronger, and to find a way to defeat Gannondorf.

Okay, I've never played any of the Zelda games(Except for a little bit of Twilight Princess at my friend's house, and I just played around with flying on the chickens....), but I've watched enough of OoT from my brother to know basic storylines and such. You know what, let's just start.

Aphras was going down one of the winding streets of Castle Town, crowded as always. He was heading towards the West Entrance of Castle Town, which is near Lake Hylia, where he was planning to go.

Lake Hylia was nothing compared to what it used to be. The lake has receded to half its size, and the water that did enter the Lake was murky and full of mud. Lake Hylia had lost all of its clear blue water, and nothing could be seen of the lake below.

This was all the work of the Evil King. Ganondorf.

He reached the gate and exited out onto a bridge going over the town moat.

Jezebel didn't know if she should be happy or severely pi**ed. This just didn't seem right. If she really was so low ranked then why would they give her a job guarding anyone from the Royal Family? Where they giving her a job that would kill her quickly, so they wouldn't have her shame them further?

And her new partner, what was with him!? He was always so quite. She didn't like the fact that he never seemed to relax, as if letting his shoulders droop a little was a crime punishable by death.

Either way, she had to go get beg the family head for some gear. Jezebel really thought that this mission stank of something, but what she couldn't guess yet.

OOC: Whoops. I didn't notice that.

Aphras jumped over the Great Bridge of Hylia. There was no other way down, and he needed to get down there. After about 30 seconds, he made a splashdown in the murky waters of Lake Hylia. He got up and swam to the much bigger shore. He walked up to the original shore of Lake Hylia, and there, was the entrance to the Light Spirit's Spring.

OOC: Accepted!

Aphras stepped onto the stone steps leading up to the Spirit Spring. The Light Spirits are the only hope of the land as of now, as they keep a small perimeter of light energy around the area where their spring is. He walked through the entrance into a small cliff over the small spring of the Light Spirit.

There, he saw an orb of light come out, followed by a giant sea serpent appearing with the orb, the orb being in its mouth.

O, great Hero, you are but one of the Heroes. There will be many more, and the Sages shall make their return back to Hyrule, The Light Spirit, Lanaryu said.

Aphras was a little confused by this statement, as he was not expecting the Light Spirit to come out. It never came out, in fact, this was the first time it had appeared to anyone in over 70 years.

"Lanayru, what do you mean?" he asked, but it was too late, as the Light Spirit dissipated into the spring.

Feh! They're all a bunch of cowards. Leit thought angrily, as he passed a couple of Hyrule soldiers lying to some attractive young girls about how bravely they fought off some of Gannondorf's monsters last night.

I'm pretty sure I saw those two at the bar, shaking in their armor. Leit thought with a sigh. "I've had enough of these two. I think it's time I headed out." Leit decided, and headed towards the North gate. He was currently on the West side of Castle Town.
