Code Geass: Guardians of the Revolution

"It may be old news to you, but it was the only thing I could find. Apparently they are searching for an illeagal immagrant who knows a lot about the Guardians. He has a journal that mentions them multiple times." Virs reported not showing her nervousness. Please don't ask where I found it. Please don't ask where I found it...

"Yes it is." Karma said softly. "I've never been outside the city and now I'm almost on the other side of the country. It's quite different."

Manna stood in front of Orion. She looked at the other's standing around and overheard something about going to Brazil. Hmm. She'd always wanted to see the rain forests, but not in this way. She rocked on the balls of her feet humming a tuneless tune.

Ikkada Noriyoto

"Hmm, an immigrant? Sounds interesting." The General mused. "You seemed to neglect to tell me who this 'they' is, Lt. General Virs." Ikkada informed his subordinate, and took a sip of his tea. "Where did you find this information again?"

Seth Ferguson

"Yes, I agree," Seth replied. "The fighting has been terrorizing the people there for years, and with the Union's reserves cut off, that will make things much easier for us."

The super soldier then glanced over to the left at Manna. The Orion pilot seemed to be as carefree and easy going as always. "Manna seems happy...or maybe just anxious?" Seth noted.

"General Ingvar is looking for this immigrant. I found it in a ...er... hidden file, Sir." Yammatil said only stumbling once. Please don't react badly, please don't react badly.

T.E.

"All pilots, get inside your machines. We are nearly at our destination. Resurfacing will commence soon." T.E. reported.

Diana Retsih

"Well, if you say so. Things could be going better in my social life. My ex-husband is bothering me again for more money, and my sister is bragging that she's gotten engaged. And to top that all off, my car was towed away and the damn DMV won't let me have it until I sign a mountain of forums. This has not been my best week." Diana explained.

Alexander

"General...what would you say if I were to tell you you were also under consideration for joining Ragnarok?" Alexander asked.

Manna looked at Seth with a raised eyebrow. "Who says I'm not both?" And then she hopped into the Orion preparing for the resurfacing.

Althea

"Both, most likely. I'm guess-" Althea replied as she agreed with Manna before being cut off as she heard T.E.'s orders over the speakers. "I guess it's time then, see you on the field Seth. ....We'll talk when it's over." She told Seth before she turned around and ran towards the Sophranius, eager for the mission to start now.

Cyrus Guerrino

Cyrus looked at Diana carefully as he processed everything she had just said. "Well lets try talking about how we can solve these problems from the easiest to most difficult then, shall we?" He asked rhetorically while he began to scribble a few things down. "Delegating could help your situation a bit I must say. With the DMV situation at least, try asking Kristen in accounting to pull a few strings, telling her I sent you...well it helps I have to admit." He informed Diana as he resisted grinning.

"Now for your Sister, I'm guessing your relationship with her isn't a good on now is it?" Cyrus asked as he kept eye contact with Diana.

Duncan Ingvar

The General's brow furrowed up tightly after he heard what Alexander had informed him. "I'm rather surprised to be honest Sir, flattered as well, of course." Duncan replied as he processed what this meant for him.

Umar Fiametta


"But it's the good kind of different, no smog here." Umar added, nodding his head in agreement with his statement before he turned and looked out at the beach. "For however long it lasts...." He silently added while staring at the water.

Finally bringing himself out of the moment, Umar put his legs over the side of the chair as he looked straight at Karma. "Do you want to stay here for a while, I mean, if you like the whole sunny ocean thing I mean. We have enough cash to pay for everything for the next three weeks, we could change our appearance's a bit and I could make us some fake identification cards to go along with them. ....Might not be too bad." Umar finished as he looked up at Karma and waited for her answer.

Shiro

"It will be done, my lord," Shiro resonded as he was given his next mission. He turned to leave, and knew that he would have to investigate many different places before he could possibly get anywhere. If it weren't for his rank and skills, he would not have been able to do it, but nothing was restricted to him, he could find virtually anything he needed to if Japan had it's knowledge. Where to start was the question.

Zero

"Ah, I almost forgot Shiro," Zero quickly said before the special agent could leave. "I have assigned a partner for you."

The God-Emperor handed the agent a picture of a beautiful young woman. "Like you, she is a trusted agent of mine. Her name is Miho Jinguchi. She is a competent agent, and will serve you will in your mission."

Diana Retsih

"Thank you. That will be a major help. No, we haven't been on good terms since our father died three years ago. I've tried to get our relationship into a better light, but so far my attempts have been futile." Diana explained with a sigh.

Raven Kagato

Once T.E.'s announcement came, Raven hopped into her Knightmare. She activated all the systems and made sure everything came online. She noticed a small line of text flash through her control screen.

CAST IN THE NAME OF GOD--YE NOT GUILTY

"What the..." Raven muttered. However as soon as it appeared, the text was gone. The Sword pilot quickly dismissed it as a hallucination and readdied herself for surfacing.

Alarms started to ring throughout the ship as the Nunnally ascended to the surface. It did not take long to reach it. The hanger doors started to open. Once it was clear no enemies were in sight, the launch sequence began.

"Arthur, launching now!" Raven declared. The catapult system threw her out of the hanger and into the open ocean. The Frame pilot activated her thrusters and turned on the Boosters. With the Boosters, it would only take an hour to arrive at the Brazillian jungles. She flew toward the coast.

Alexander

"I would imagine so. We do not take these matters likely, you must understand. Both you and your superior are possible candidates for Ragnarok. It is my hope that both of you will be accepted into the organization, since we need people like the both of you. However, I'd like you to keep quite about this for now. Do you have any questions?" Alexander asked.

T.E.

"Well, we've begun our next mission. I hope this works out as planned, R.R. I imagine the Union will be expecting us somewhere. I just hope they don't expect us here." T.E. commented. Once all the Swords were launched he ordered for submertion.

Karl sat in the operations room watching the inetlligence reports come in, he had watch officer duty and absolutely nothing was happening at the moment.

"Quiet, isn't it?" he asked the communications officer a french lieutenant by the name of Pierre LeBrun.

"Maybe this is good, no?" he asked, "we've seen too much war here."

Karl looked at the man with comtempt, "War," he said "is the purest expression of passion and strength we have. When a person does battle you can see his true self, whether he is a coward or a hero." Karl gave Pierre a dead serious look for a second then burst out laughing, "Or maybe I talk a lot of schisse? I just love to fight, but I've yet to meet someone who can match my prowess."

The two officers conversed for a while longer when a SAT-RECON camera feed over the atlantic caught Karl's eye.

"Mein gott," he said and then shot off for the offices of the UFN high command, leaving Pierre staring at the screen.

Cyrus Guerrino

"Hmm, I see..." Cyrus replied as he began to chew the tip of his pin, stopping as he looked back up at Dina. "Does she blame you for anything, it doesn't have to be justified of course, but is she holding anything against you out of some form of spite?" He asked carefully as he tried to get Diana to open up more without angering or scaring her.

Duncan Ingvar

Duncan nodded as he processed what Alexander was saying slowly, nodding his head as the man finished. "I just have one really. Would I be able to continue to work on accomplishing my objective, with Ragnarok's resources of course?" He asked Sir Relmmih, wondering if the Agent of Ragnarok knew what he was doing.

Althea Fiametta

After jumping into the Sophranius, Althea began to quickly activate all the systems. "Oh god....well here we go then." Althea muttered as she rubbed her forehead for a second, eyes closed until she heard the alarms that signaled they were close to the surface.

Sighing as she saw the hatch doors open and heard Arthur launching, Althea's body suddenly tensed up as she prepared herself. "Sophranius, launching!" She informed the crew before the catapult launched her Knightmare out of the ship and water and into the air. Almost immediately afterward Althea turned on the thrusters and steered the ship towards the Brazilian coast after Raven, prepared for a long day of flying now.

"'General Ingvar?!' 'Hidden file?!' What are you talking about Lt. General? Explain yourself!" the Japanese office demanded, starting to get impatient with his subordinate beating around the bush.

"Right. Bye." Seth said before departing to his Knightmare. He entered the cockpit and activated the machine by inserting and twisting his core drill.

Once all of the procedures were finished, the pilot took a deep breath as the Nunnally hit the surface, and the other Swords took off. "Talaria: launching!" and with that, Seth launched. He activated his boosters and took off towards the next mission location; Brazil.

{Had to throw in a reference of my own, although your's is much better. I think Raven should start saying "Sword(s)" or "Guardian(s)" a lot more. Looks like the 5th pilot might not be ready when this mission is over. ( Much progress has been made, and there's hardly any work left to be done though! ^^'}

"When I searched for files a personal file came up that could only be accessed by password." Virs explained. "It was simply his ID number which is public information." she lied smoothly.

"Orion launching!" As soon as Manna was launched she activated the boosters and headed for Brazil. She wondered if the UFN knew they were coming.

Karma nodded. "That sounds like a good idea." She liked that there was no smog. Now that she knew what it was like without smog she wasn't sure she wanted to go back to the city.

((Hehehe, thank you Velox. That little part may play a more important role later on, though.))

Dianaa Retsih

"Yes. Our relationship was troubled even when we were children. She's always bee jealous of me. She thought our father loved me more than her. Things didn't help when our father passed away. I wasn't able to make it in time, and she's always blamed me for not being able to be with him in his final moments. That was what he wanted. I think she was both mad and jealous about that. We haven't been on good speaking terms since as long as I can remember." Diana explained.

Alexander

"Of course. You're very valueable to us, Mr. Ingvar. More so than your boss, I say. You fit in very well with plans in the future of our organization." Alexander said.

((They'l arrive in Brazil in the next post or two I make. I'm busy at the moment.))

Umar Fiametta

"Excellent." Umar replied with a grin on his face before it disappeared slowly as he looked into Karma's eyes and studied them carefully. His heart and breath grew heavy as the young man leaned in closely to Karma, but before he could do anything, Umar stopped as he was just a few inches from her after realizing that there was a chance she wouldn't like this.

"Want to go swimming!?" Umar asked abruptly and awkwardly as he fell back onto the beach chair. "I just mean that the water is nice, and neither of us have ever gone into the ocean before so that should be nice, yeah?" Umar asked quickly and nervously as he tried to stay cool andvcalm, failing to do either.

Cyrus Guerrino

"So she's being spiteful about all of this then..hmm..." Cyrus answered before pausing for a second as he bit the tip of his pen. "You have two viable options in my opinion. You could distance yourself from your Sister and just cut her off." Cyrus said unemotionally as he began to write something onto his notepad. "Or, you could try healing the wounds between you two by initiating an act of kindness she may not be used to. How about setting up her bridal shower? That also has the potential to help you with your social life, as you could meet a few people along the way as you plan for her." Cyrus pointed out as he studied Diana's expression carefully, knowing that her answer to this would teach him a lot about the General.

Duncan Ingvar

"Th-that's certainly an honor to hear Sir, I certainly appreciate what you're saying." Duncan replied carefully as he tried not to say something foolish, honestly shocked and pleased at what Sir Relmmih was telling him.

Karl sped down the hallway, knocking people aside as he attempted to get to the general's office. Slid around a corner and into the office, barely breaking a sweat.

"General!" he shouted then realized she was out, "oh its you," he said as he saw John doing the paperwork.

"Tell me, who can authorize a medium scale deployment to area five?"

As Karma's heart started beating again she laughed at Umar's reaction. "I'd love to, but I don't really know how to swim." A blush spread across her face. Not only from the embarrassing statement, but from the moment before when they had been so close. So close.

Diana Retsih

"I'd like to go with the second option. If possible, I want to get closer with my sister again. Thank you for the idea." Diana said.

Alexander

"You are welcome, General. Do you have any questions?" Alexander asked.

Raven Kagato

An hour later, the Swords were now arriving at the target location in Area Five. Raven deactivated her cloaking device and the boosters. Gunfire coud be heard throughout the jungle below them. Through the dense trees, it was hard to find other Frames. To her anger, planes swooped over the area pouring fire onto the jungle.

"They intend to smoke the rebels out. Those monsters...everyone, our first priority is to disable the planes pouring the fire. Be careful where you hit, they're fragile. Once that is done we'll swoop down into the jungle and disable all combatanents."

Althea Fiammetta

"Will do." Althea replied quickly as she studied the planes below them. This task was perfectly suited for the Sophranius she realized, causing her to smirk as she turned off the boosters. Targeting two of the planes closest to her, Althea quickly turned on the Sophranius chain system, making sure that only two of the chains were actually imbued with radiation as she flew down quickly towards the first plane.

The First thing Althea had the Sophranous do was use the radiated chains to cut one wing off of both planes, then she carefully shot the back of one plane while she used the other chains to hold the planes steady as they wrapped around the vehicle. When she finally had both of them in her grasp, as they still feel to the ground, she slowed the planes momentum before finally releasing them when they were about twenty-five feet from the ground.

Duncan Ingvar

"No Sir, besides the work question, I really have no other requests that I can think of." The General replied after calming himself down.

Cyrus Guerrino

"Splendid, I'm glad to help." Cyrus replied as he felt himself smile a bit, pleased to see the General's decision. "Now while this should help you get closer to your Sister, and it should help you socialize a bit more, I do not recommend that you see this idea as your only option when it comes to making more acquaintances. There are a few....areas, around Paris, that I think you would enjoy visiting. These destinations are great places where you can meet new people that you may have a few things in common with." Cyrus explained as he wrote a few destinations on his notepad before ripping the piece of paper out and handing it to Diana.

"I've given you three places you might....enjoy visiting for a night. The first one, Entrepôt Onze, is a bar that military people enjoy visiting after work. Thursday is the best time to go, Jazz night, it's rather magnificent." Cyrus said as he smiled a bit at the last part. As he realized that the last sentence had been unnecessary, Cyrus coughed quietly before continuing on.
"The second one is an interesting organization, they host and assign people to club activities depending on what your interests happen to be. Just in case a bar doesn't sound appealing to you..." Cyrus continued on before he used his pen to point to a phone number at the bottom of the list. "This number, right here, is my personal work phone which I carry with me at all times. If you feel the need to discuss something, or you feel like your anxiety is just building up, call it." He finished with a hint of seriousness as he leaned back into his seat again.

Umar Fiametta

Umar laughed nervously as Karma informed him about how she couldn't swim. "Don't worry about that, I can barely swim myself to be honest. But, maybe we could both learn together, over time, in this little part of the ocean." He suggested weakly as he stood up, licking his lips after suddenly finding them to be a bit dry. "Besides, I hear that it's easier to float in ocean water thanks to all the salt and stuff." He pointed out as he finally steadied himself after realizing that his foot had been caught in part of the beach chair.

{Really?...I'd ask questions, but I think I'd rather have it be a surprise.}

Ikkada Noriyoto

"Oh. Well if that's the case, you should've just told me that in the first place. Next time, get to the point faster Lt. General Virs." The General replied, taking the bait. However, he didn't like how his subordinate wasn't as concise if that was the true reason. "Either way, I would still like a copy of this file and all of it's contents."

Seth Ferguson

As the pilot drew closer to their location, the usually stoic teen became angrier and angrier as the planes emitted out flames towards the landscape below. "The rainforests...what are they doing?!"

That's it, Seth. Hate them. All they know how to do is destroy, and hurt others. There's nothing wrong with seeking revenge. No; in fact, it's completely natural. Kill them! Their actions will only get worse in the future. You have to wipe them all out here!

"...No. Despite what they're doing, we still have a mission, and that mission calls for as less deaths as possible. They can be stopped without being killed. I can stop them without killing them!" Seth exclaimed deactivating the boosters and cloaking device, and activating the Energy Wing System.

"Talaria: Eliminating Targets!" The Sword flew in front of one plane, and with a smooth barrel roll, cut off the plane's wing. Talaria circled around, and fired several shots with it's rifle, damaging the tail of the vehicle. The Knightmare approached the plane which was now starting to descend rapidly, from above and dived while simultaenously cutting it's remaining wing. The Sword somersaulted into an upright position, and caught the plane from beneath.

Increasing the energy output on from Talaria's feet, Seth gradually slowed the descent of crashing vehicle, and dropped the plane like Althea did at about 25 feet.

Manna grimaced. She could finally see the rain forest and it was being destroyed. She turned off the thrusters and cloaking device. "Orion, taking out targets."

Quickly she hovered over one plane. She shot two disks, one at each gun, and the fire stopped. She then cut off the tips of both wings and saw the plane start to glide. She then made sure it fell to the ground safely. "Neato." She then started for another plane.

"Of course, General. I'll have it to you as soon as I can." Yammatil inwardly sighed. Now she just had to get a copy of the file. She looked over at her computer and saw the file still open. In it was a report of where they last spotted the immigrant and details about the journal. There were some excerpts from the journal in there too.

Karma lifted an eyebrow "Oh? So if I drown I'll float to the top easier, is that what you're saying?" A smile broke through her serious look.

Karl left the HQ in disgust, he had just been told that there was nothing the UFN could do or wanted to do about the situation in Area 5. He returned to his barracks awaiting orders.

((Had a PM conversation with the owner, this is between the Guardians and Union, we can't get involved))

Diana Retsih

"Thank you for your help. I..." Her cell phone-ringing cut off Diana. She quickly answered it.

"What?!" Diana burst, standing up. After a few quick questions she hung up.

"The Guardians are intervening in South America, Brazil. I'm sorry but I need to leave now. Do you have anything else to add?" Diana asked.

T.E.

"Well Lelouch, we can't let that rain-forest burn to the ground, can we? Even if our pilots stop the plans, the fire will continue to spread." T.E. observed, watching the intervention via Union satellites. He turned to his partner.

"May I make a suggestion, R.R.?"

Raven Kagato

While her comrades finished off the planes, Raven scanned the area for nearby threats. She activated her Geass and waited. Hm, no immediate threats right n--

"Seth, a missile is heading straight toward you from the right!" Raven cried, before her senors or Seth's could pick it up.

((I may not be able to get on often this weekend, just so everyone knows.))

Umar Fiametta

"And then I won have to spend hours looking for you afterward, or vice-versa if it happens to me, you know?" Umar joked with a hint of nervousness as he looked up at Karma, rubbing the back of his neck nervously before sighing in relief when he realized that Karma was joking completely as well.

"But still, it be a shame not to do it when we're already this close." He explained calmly as he glanced back out at the clear water for a second.

Cyrus Guerrino

"No, no. I shan't hold you up if I don't have to." Cyrus replied as he put his notepad on the small table beside him. "You should remember though, these were just helpful suggestions that I'm giving you right now, I'll try to help you figure out the root of all of your problems over the course of our next few meetings, when you've had more sleep...." He explained politely as he stood up, looking past Diana to make sure that his Assistant was paying attention to what was going on.

"Our next appointment is scheduled in two weeks, though remember, you do have my number if you need to reschedule." Cyrus finished before saluting politely. "Goodbye General Retsih, and good luck."

Ikkada Noriyoto

"Make sure that you do," the General replied, and hung up. Then, a low-ranking officer came in. "Noriyoto-sama I have the reports you wanted, but there's something else that's just happened." the officer informed, showing a little but of nervous-ness. "What is it?" Ikkada asked. "It's the Guardians of Justice sir. They just started an armed intervention in Area 5. Should we deploy our troops, too--"

"Hm! Don't be a fool. Let the Guardians of Justice fight the Union and wipe them out. If they're successful, the Union's resources will be crippled, and that'll make things easier for us. Besides, our preparations aren't completely ready yet. Now, hand me those files and report back to Lt. General Virs and await further orders."

"Y-Yes sir!" the officer saluted. He handed the files to Ikkada and promptly exited the room. The General opened the contents of the files and began looking through them. "Let's see what are survivng soldiers from Sudan had to report."

Seth Ferguson

"What?!" Seth's radar then picked up an incoming object approaching quickly towards him. "Roger." Seth replied, and fired a volley of shots towards the projectile. The missile exploded a few feet away from the barrel of Talaria's rifle; it was successfully destroyed. "Thanks Raven. Can you see who fired it?" Seth asked.

((I'm curious, does anyone have any idea what Raven's Geass does? It's name and the clues I've given should be enough.))

Raven Kagato

"Hold on, let me check." Raven concentrated her Geass on the area. After a minute her eyes snapped open.

"Inside the jungle, two miles away. It probably came from the rebels forces inside. We need to terminate any missile launchers inside the jungle at once. And--"

Raven stopped herself. Union Frames with FLOAT systems equipped speed toward them, firing their rifles. More and more Union models came up from within the jungle, now ignoring the terrorists inside. They seemed to be after the Guardians now.

Diana Retsih

"Thank you, Cyrus. I hope you have a pleasent day." Diana said, and left his office. A soldier came up to her and slipped her a note. After reading it Diana changed her course to a nearby conference room. The screen in the room turned on the moment she came in. The image of Kain Mu greeted her.

"Ah, good day. How is the lovely Miss Retsih doing?" Kain asked, giving her a charming smile.

"Cut the crap, Mu. I swear, if you had any knowledge of the Guardians I will personally rip your head off myself. They were not apart of the plan." Diana hissed. Kain gave her a reassuring smile.

"Does it really matter whether I knew of them or not? Look, the operation will still go according to plan, I promise. Besides, if you were to kill me, the Federation would open an investigation. They might find out what we and other generals and admirals are planning. What we're going to do isn't exactly patriotic, now is it Diana? Look, just leave everything to me. If I'm correct, we won't have to worry about the Guardians much longer." Kain assured.

Diana reluctantly agreed. After discussing several more matters, she left the conference room and returned to her office.
