This World

"Sure." Jennifer replied with a smile. "You got a portable dvd player on you, by any chance? We may as well entertain ourselves while the kids have their movie night."

Amy turned to Sayo confused,

"What movie is it next to?"

((And where is Orion heading in to? The dvds are on the kitchen counter, which adjoins with the living room.))

Sayo

"Nothing." Sayo replied with a faint blush, as he glared at Orion.

((And am I truly the only one that remembers that, in the first movie night WAY back when, they had also watched Star Wars for the first time? Hehe. Just saying.))

Carla

"Of course I have one! I have several; I have to have something on hand in case one of my devices go down," she said as she moved towards the back of the small space, unpacking said device from a secure containment unit, "I'm afraid I don't have many DVDs, but you're welcome to watch what I have." she said, plugging the portable DVD player into a nearby monitor.

"Found it!" Orion exclaimed, bringing the Star Wars box-set as well as a DVD that he insisted that Sayo watched constantly. Of course, on the cover, was a woman that seemed to resemble Amy. He smirked.

Amy sighed inwardly, but a smile twitched on her lips. Humans and their sexual nature. It was an oddity that use to escape Amy. Now it just amused her, though sometimes it was a bit annoying.

"Sayo what kind of movies do you like," she asked, pointing at the DVD.

"You have one of those," Jillian asked, turning to his boyfriend in a joking manner. Jacob scowled. Jillian grinned.

"Why? You won't get much from it."

"Very true."

Jennifer

"Ah, great. Let's see....hm. Ah, here we go. We could always watch Lord of the Rings. Hm. Didn't know you were a fan of that." Jennifer said, giving Carla a teasing grin.

Sayo

"Anything but horror and the kind of movies Orion insists I watch," Sayo replied, as he grabbed the pornographic dvd from Orion's hands and chucked it at the trash.

"I'm just trying to toughen you up. Make you man. We already have one Jill," Orion teased, ruffling the pinkette's hair.

Jillian frowned as Orion touched his hair and swiped at the boy's hand.

"Don't touch my head."

"Yes because only Jacob can do that," Zach said with a grin. Jillian went red in the face.

"Not that head!"

Amy inwardly smiled but on the outside she frowned in confused. "Jillian has more than one head?"

"Yes. You see, at the part ofh is body hanging down..." Orion began, but, seeing the look that Zach was giving him, stopped. He smiled, "Er... I'll tell you when you're older."

Amy smiled at Orion and nodded. She found her friends to be an interesting bunch. She hadn't had friends like these in a long while.

"Okay."

"So what are we watching," Jillian asked, still red in the face.

Sayo

"As I said, Star Wars." Sayo stated. "Now, we all ready to watch?"

((Hm. I truly do hope Alec comes back soon. We can only do Filler for so long....))

((Hm. We reall ought to do something constructive with the gang. Thoughts?))

((Mariah, AI, post here immediately. We need to talk together and see if we can work out an idea of where to go from here.))

(Hmmm... They could get kidnapped or something.)

(Kidnapping would be interesting. I want to do something that casts a suspicious light on Amy as well for any of the characters.)

((Not a bad idea. I'll look at a timeline Alec drew up once for me, and see where I might fit such an event in.))

((Honestly I have no idea where to go from here. And guess what? Thread bump!))

((I now know what I shall do next in this RP. Prepare for a timeskip this afternoon. This World will come back into action.))

((It is now the month of March. Anything important that happened in the last weeks of February will be shown via flashbacks, if necessary. And for the sake of the plot, let us pretend Sayo's house is within walking distance from the local highschool.))

General Narrative

Amy, Jacob, Jillian, Orion, and Zach made their way to school by foot, chatting quietly amongst themselves as they did so. For a variety of reasons they had not been able to secure a ride to school this day, so they just decided to get a little exercise and walk. Sayo had not yet joined the group, but since his house was not too far away from the school, it was decided that they'd drop by to pick him up before resuming their course.

It did not take long to reach their friend's house....however, when they arrived, the entire area around Sayo's house was swarmed by police cars, and the front lawn was covered in crime-scene tape....
