Covert Undercover Night Trucker (T-M/Accepting)

Prince stare wide-eyed at the car. Maybe she should of just kept quiet, not that it would have led to anything better. Leaving was the best option. She looked at Wade and shook her head.

"Class is important." With that said she grabbed her sketch book and headed to the door.

"Huh-wha? We are going to class! Come on get in! This thing has turbo, so we'll definitely get to class on time! Not to mention the guidance systems, machine guns, hyper laser blasters, plasma-inversion grenade launcher, all terrain tires and suspension, and it's nuclear powered too! And check this out..."

Flipping a switch on the CD player, music started flowing into the cafeteria;

"What is love? Baby, don't hurt me, don't hurt me no more!"

Wade then began bobbing his head to the music, "Come on, I need a Will Ferral! Yes? No? Maybe?" Wade smiled hopefully.

Michael twitched as he sat next to Amethyst. Shaking his head at how strange his day was becoming. Reality didn't seem to apply to Wade. He spoke, "Do you think I'm dreaming?"

"Oh. Then..." Her stomach grumbled, but she ignored it, more interested in this conversation than food. "All of the legends about vampires are false, aren't they? Are there any more like you?" she asked, not giving him a chance to answer the first question. "Or have you been alone all of your life? I know what it's like to be alone. It's not very fun..."

Dallas

"In all the years I've roamed the planet, I've yet to cross paths with another vampire. Though I may have not been looking hard enough." Dallas admitted.

Needless to say, Prince's silent argument was enough to persuade Wade from using his stolen armored go-cart...Wade was not happy, "Ok, so the hyper laser blasters and plasma inversion grenade launcher was a bit much, but I don't see wh--"

Look up fool!

And so Wade did, just now noticing that the class in question was actually only a few paces from the cafeteria, "..." Wade stared at the building as he turned to Prince, then looked back at the building, "In retrospect, the go-cart might have actually been a bit pointless...but I might become a plot device later!" said the merc-in-training cheerily.

His pseudo-mirth ended abruptly when he saw the mouthy bully from earlier, patrolling the perimeter of the building, quite possibly checking for blind spots. Turning to Prince, Wade gave her a wry smile, "I do apologize for the inconvenience, but something has just caught my attention, but fear not, I shall join you relatively shortly....unless I die, then give it about an hour or so..." he said, sneaking off to follow Ladd.

Prince smiled at Wade, but she was a little unsure. Still he was trying to be nice in his own way.

"Later then."

Kirsten headed to her next class. It was math and she already knew she was going to hate it. Why? Because Halli was most likely in that class. And although Kirsten hated boys, she hated Halli as well. She was a disgrace to girls.

Amethyst shook her head.
"I see it too. He'll be expelled by week's end, I'm sure of it." she told him, starting to feel comfortable with speaking after a few months of silence.
"What class do you have next?" She asked him, trying to ignore the crazy boy.

"I have Biology, what about you?" Michael asked her with a shrug. He frowned a bit, "Not sure why. My talent is with English."

"I have Science too, my talents are writing and photography. My psychologist says that is 'speak through my photographs' or that it's 'therapeutic'" she told him. she really loved photography but she hated when people thought that she loved because it made her less crazy or something like that.

"You have a psychologist?" he asked her. He didn't sound condescending or alarmed. Just surprise and a bit curious. He shrugged a bit, "I love to write too. It allows you to explore another world. You don't create it, though. You're just its humble guide."

"I agree completely." She said, after nodding to the psychologist question. "I always feel dazed after reading, and I feel like I'm living in the fictional world for a bit until the real world sets in" She told him.

"I feel the same way. It's wonderful to hear the characters like they are speaking directly to you," he told her with a grin.

Ariel hopped forward and latched back onto Dallas' arm. "Well, I'm here! I may not be a..." She glanced at the group of students that were walking past, finished with their lunch, and then she leaned closer to her friend's ear. "...vampire, but you've still got me."

She straightened back up and smiled at him. "And we'll be bestest best friends, forever and ever."

"Yeah, whenever I read a good book, I can hear exactly what the characters would sound like and I see them in my mind." She told him, she felt so much better after talking to someone intellectually for once, most people talked down to her, even her own mother did it once or twice.

Dallas

"I'm glad to hear that." Dallas smiled softly at Ariel, though he knew her declaration wasn't truthful. Unless he was able to turn her into one of the Undead, they'd never be friends forever. In a few decades, he'd likely barely remember her. Unless she managed to stick into his mind like that Samurai had in the 1700s, or that Irishman he met back in 1845. Ah, now those had been some good times...

Dallas blinked and noticed again that his fangs had popped out, against his wishses. Hm. How bothersome. His hunger was sadated for now, yet the possibility of fresh blood still enticed him. Troublesome. He really needed to learn more self-control.

Ariel gave a nod of her head and then turned, placing herself just before Dallas. She reached up with her left hand and placed it on his heart, while her eyes stared into his. She noticed the fangs, but said nothing about them. Instead, she took his left hand in her right and guided it to her own heart. She then held her right hand up, her palm facing him, and waited for him to move his own hand against hers.

"Best friends don't forget, Dallas," she told him, her tone and expression oddly solemn.

Ladd

Ladd continued to merrily walked around the school's perimeter, both checking around for blind spots and doing it just for the fun of it. So far no teachers had tried to stop him, which seemed a bit odd, but he didn't really care about that.

Dallas

Well, this girl was certainly full of surprises. Dallas hadn't really expected that. It sure was....odd, Ariel going all serious and whatnot right now. How curious. Did that mean there was more to her then she let on?

"Of course. So long as you're alive, we'll be best friends forever." he replied and placed his own palm against hers.

((Hm. I'm not sure why but all this talk about 'best friends forever' is making me think of the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. Man, I loved that show when it was on.))

(Hmm, maybe we should try roleplaying the show sometime. Personally, I'd like be Grim. I can't be evil like Mandy and NO ONE can be as stupid as Billy)

"Yeah. I just can't wrap my mind around how some people have lived their whole lives without reading a single word," Michael told her with a small smile, "That's weird."

"It just annoys me when people assume that a book isn't worth their time, they think that reading makes you look bad. What kind of world do we live in when things people enjoy are just being tossed aside for fear of being judged." She said, the corners of her lips were starting to turn up in a small smile.

(I've heard of the show, but I've never seen it.)

Ariel gave a small shake of her head and pressed her hand harder against Dallas' heart. "No," she told him. "Not until I die. Forever doesn't work that way. If it did, then it wouldn't be forever." She glared at him. "Now, promise me. Forever and ever."

Dallas

"Alright. We'll be best friends forever. I promise." My my, this certainly was an interesting girl. Did she not see how futile a promise that was? Unless Dallas figured out a way to turn her into a vampire, it was unlikely they could be friends throughout all time. Still, he saw no harm in promising her this. If it made Ariel feel better, then so be it.

((It can be crude at times, but I myself just loved that show. I wouldn't mind making an RP of the show myself. I'd love to play as Mandy! Aside from Grim and Hast Del Gado [name may be spelled wrong], Mandy was one of my favorite characters.))

(Ah, Mandy... She can make evil little girls frightening to so many peoople.)

Michael rolled his eyes, "People who do not value reading are idiots. They won't make any lasting contribution to society and they won't be remembered."

He smiled back at the girl. It was good to find someone who understood. He liked her.

"I believe that certain people can prove that wrong. Hitler burned books, he didn't like any reading that went against his beliefs. He made an unerasable mark on society, given it wasn't a positive one, but a mark nonetheless. That is a very dramatic example but it fits." She told him. She really was smiling now. She really liked to have company, and Mcihael was very fun to talk to.

Suddenly there was a loud screeching sound. Prince stopped dancing and covered her ears. Kirsten did the same. Atkins winced at the off-pitch tone of it.

"Sorry for that. Ahem. This is the Principal speaking. In about an hour we will be having our first assembly. I except every student to be there. If your teacher at the current time reports you absent and you have no excuse, you shall be the first of this year to experience Battlehill's unique detention. That is all."
